Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

No rain in the forecast until Monday and so my Saturday will not be spent lounging. I will finish getting that lean-to ready to receive firewood today, if it does not get too perishing hot.
Last night the weather was gorgeous, so Steve and I sat in his barn with the doors open and watched the sprint car races at Kokomo on the TV. When the feature was done, so were we and I slept the sleep of the dead.
Sunday there is a trailer due to arrive from Laredo that I am to take up to the terminal in Romulus, MI and drop and then return back home.
Though the economy is definitely slowing, the company has recently gotten three contracts for new business and so the work load for us on-call drivers has not slackened. We are the ones that do the new runs initially to work out the kinks.
Every profession has its run in specialists. I have worked many of them on new machinery. There is nothing quite like the thrill of taking a new machine design through its paces and watching the engineers wonder if everything will work as planned. “Working out kinks” is a very calm description of what can be a hectic time. I remember one time (of several) that did not go so well. It started with a drive motor that would only run about 25% of rated speed. When that was fixed, there was a bearing seizure that brought the machine to a screeching stop from almost full speed and twisted 4″ diameter shafts into a slow helix. Finally got it going and run in. After those failures, what was usually a semi-congratulatory event had become a high-stress engineering and repair battleground.
One thing about that bearing. My job took me into many situations in which machines were in the process of breaking. There is nothing that can compare to standing next to a 1000 HP process machine when it fails catastrophically. There is absolutely nothing that sounds, feels, looks or even smells like it. In a catastrophic failure, a machine can go from full speed to zero in under one second that involves incredible heat, noise and destruction. I remember each and every one and the respect I have for machinery is built from that. Machines can kill you and do it in an instant. But I think you know that.
Stay safe rah.
Thanks. Really the best single phrase I can think of to describe what we do is “trouble shooter”. The troubles we shoot come in many forms. For example. The last run this week was a milk run I had done before. A relatively new driver that had been doing it refused to run it again claiming she could not tolerate the way she was treated at the first stop in Peru, IL.
I have been to that same place and those same docks several times before and always found them to be cheerful and professional and that was the way they were this time to me. I suspect that the newer driver has not learned as yet that stuff happens. It happens all the time in this business. If something can go sideways it usually will sooner or later. A driver has to learn that and to deal with it without taking it out on the shipper, dispatch, or the customer. You have to learn to deal with what you can, and to accept the consequences of those things you cannot fix without getting overwrought. Drivers have to learn not to stress out, and by gaining that balance they will not only be happier, they will live longer. So in that case it boiled down to that famous prayer: Lord, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, and courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Rah, you and your fellow drivers are the bread and butter and the foundation of this country. We can do without dishonourable, corrupt, self aggrandizing and self enriching DC parasites and fully paid up political cartel creatures. If they were never seen or heard from again, not one person would miss them, and life would continue but in a more efficient and better way.
Every Tree dweller here knows and appreciates it, perhaps more than you can imagine. I echo VibeMan…be safe, and be well.
I’m just a man doing a job. We that are lucky find the niches in this world where we accel and are happy. The Lord has seen to fit to bless me with such a situation. My part is no more essential than that of anyone in the logistics chain. All of us depend on each other to do their jobs so that the rest can do theirs. But one of things about being a driver is that YOU are the captain of your ship and that appeals to me. As long as I get the job done safely. legally, and on time, I have free reign to perform it in the manner which I choose. Others choose where I go, but I determine how I am going to get there. And that is one of the things that makes my job appeal to me.
Jigsaw pieces fit to make the whole picture work. I married a man who was doing the job of a bus driver, but he is not a bus driver, if that makes sense. He is so much more than that. He is more than competent in many skills. But when he was driving tour coaches in the UK, those American passengers on his coach who would shout questions at him, calling him “Driver!” and not his name, I doubt realized he had their lives in his expert hands. They discounted his value to them, which was enormous.
Same with you, rah. You say you are just doing a job. Without you, many would not have access to the things, whatever they are, that they expect to
magically be there. You are, as my husband was with the job he was doing at the time and all the others since, a professional. Attentive to detail, reliable. It’s not “a” job as I see it, though you seem to view it that way. So I stick with my original thought. Truckers keep this country going. You remain in my eyes at least one of those vital jigsaw pieces that we all rely on. And that view, my friend, I will not be budged from.
The finale of the three day “Smack down” is tonight.
Lady: Why art thou wearing armour, good Sir Knight? Art thou off to do battle in the Crusades?
Knight: Nay, my lady. I’m going to try to give my cat a pill.
😂 😂 Yup!
There isn’t a person out there owned by a cat who won’t get that.
I’m a crazy cat lady. I used to get shredded a lot! I use soft treats, now. Mash the treat around the pill. My cats would eat it whole and never know they got the pill.
We love our fur babies, don’t we?
Have a great Caturday!
Where there’s a will, there’s always a way. Cat people are perhaps the most creative in the world …out of self preservation, we have to be.😉
Yes!
😎
Hi Betsy, grandpa et al!!!! 😉
Morning again, Cat🤗…I hope nobody has to dress in armour to give you a pill!😉
Good afternoon Cat and Bet! Been busy with Nipper all day now waiting for more grands to show up to take them to the fair in Fredericksburg then back to the pool for a swim ad burgers.
Afternoon, G and Nipper!! Y’all have a great time. Memories are made on days like this💖
I’m one that isn’t owned by a cat Betsy, but I understood very well😂😂🤣🤣
🇺🇸💪😂👍
Hahaha…all one needs is a vivid imagination, Jim😉
Been there, done that…….lost not just the battle but the entire WAR!!!
……and blood.
Not to mention dignity….
Some flesh….
Self respect….
Cats ain’t nuthin’ but miniature lions and tigers.
If you don’t believe me just ask me!!!
😂 I shouldn’t laugh. It isn’t funny while you’re trying to mop up spilled blood. Yours…not the cat’s. Been there too many times, Greg. And not even a thank you after.
Ha!
Not even a LITTLE thank you!!!
You can practically SEE the cat plotting on you later in the day as you walk around the house!!!
Although, I’ve got a 20 pound Maine Coon asleep with her head on my knee as I type this, so that means something, I guess.
In the past, when my daughter still lived at home, I’ve had to bathe a couple of larrrrrrge furry cats that had somehow gotten fleas. I’d get her to help me because I *KNEW* what was coming with one of them.
That particular cat thought I was trying to baptize her.
Pro Tip:
You cannot baptize a cat!
With a low water level in the tub, and rinsing with a cup and insuring I didn’t get water in her face around her nose and eyes, said cat would STILL end up going over my head and on my back, no matter how hard I tried to stop it, and my daughter had to unhook all the claws from my back.
One by one.
Multiple times.
Gooood times…..
Gotta love cats, though!
We do love LOVE cats in this house. We had many in Wales…barn cats and strays who knew a good thing and a soft touch when they saw one. The word got out in our small village quite quickly, and a worn path was carved out to the door of our house in the valley. I’m surprised it wasn’t on Google.
We loved and cared for them all.
BUT!!
The one thing we never attempted was bathing any of them. We figured they could do that one thing while we took care of the rest. I admire your devotion to your beloved cats. You are, I must say, a braver man than I am, Gunga Din.
Hydrogen peroxide and antibiotic cream from Walmart are staples in this house. I commend both to you.
(For some reason, fleas were never an issue across the pond, thank goodness.)
First time I saw a Texas flea I wondered what that creature was. They are 10 times the size of their Euroweenie cousins.
Beer and brisket will do that to any living thing in Texas.
Plenty of good in your post, thank you!
Meanwhile:
“I’m surprised it wasn’t on Google.”
Thaaaaat’s funny!
And yours 😁…there is a brother/sisterhood with animal lovers. Good people all.
Morning Ya’ll 🙂
Yo, Jay!!! 🙂
Howdy Garrison 🇺🇸🇺🇸🤠
Morning, Garrison. Where did the week go?
Good morning, Mr jay. A great way to start another Saturday. They seem to be coming faster and faster.
🙂 🙂
So the Blue Velvet / Golliwogs later changed their name to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
And John took over the band from his brother.
Sorry I wasn’t around yesterday, friends. I had a serious home-emergency that demanded my full attention. Happily, things have worked out and all is now well. When you’re a sole caregiver these things just happen. Now that I’ve “landed the airplane” I don’t have words just now to tell you how relieved I am. Not bragging — just majorly relieved. 🙂
Very tough road to travel in your situation, if you can get some help it would be beneficial to your health as well. 🙏🏻 As always 🤠
I won’t lie, Garrison. I suspected something was amiss. I added extra prayers for you and your lady. I’m so glad the emergency was resolved. Nevertheless,as always, prayers will continue for you both, my friend.🙏
💖
✝️
Heartfelt thanks and blessings to everyone. Sudden emergencies that “just happen” are an ever-present part of sole care-giving. Fortunately I knew how to apply some “nuts-and-bolts” knowledge which allows us to continue awhile longer. My goal is to keep my wife of almost 55 years at home amid familiar surroundings as long as possible.
May God Almighty pour out all His blessings on both of you.🙏
Amen …..
Tru Dat!
Thanks for posting that.
Snagged and sent to one friend already.
About to send it to the young preacher where I go to church.
He spoke of tolerance once, and mentioned a quote by his dad, who is about my age (a young man!):
“Son, don’t be so open minded that your brains fall out!”
Another on the same theme.
“Home school them!”
Must have been written before they got their tolerance, because their very next demand was intolerance of morality.

Living Your Theology
Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you… —John 12:35
Beware of not acting upon what you see in your moments on the mountaintop with God. If you do not obey the light, it will turn into darkness. “If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:23). The moment you forsake the matter of sanctification or neglect anything else on which God has given you His light, your spiritual life begins to disintegrate within you. Continually bring the truth out into your real life, working it out into every area, or else even the light that you possess will itself prove to be a curse.
The most difficult person to deal with is the one who has the prideful self-satisfaction of a past experience, but is not working that experience out in his everyday life. If you say you are sanctified, show it. The experience must be so genuine that it shows in your life. Beware of any belief that makes you self-indulgent or self-gratifying; that belief came from the pit of hell itself, regardless of how beautiful it may sound.
Your theology must work itself out, exhibiting itself in your most common everyday relationships. Our Lord said, “…unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:20). In other words, you must be more moral than the most moral person you know. You may know all about the doctrine of sanctification, but are you working it out in the everyday issues of your life? Every detail of your life, whether physical, moral, or spiritual, is to be judged and measured by the standard of the atonement by the Cross of Christ.
WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
“I have chosen you” (John 15:16). Keep that note of greatness in your creed. It is not that you have got God, but that He has got you.

Good morning, Cat. A lovely reminder this morning.
A brief informational note re: glaucoma
… the start of your post
Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you… —John 12:35e
Had a visit with a new glaucoma specialist this week. Gleaned one new critical piece of information re: why my optic nerve is being attacked
When you go to sleep at night your blood pressure tends to drop. At the same time the pressure inside your eye tends to rise. That may not be true for everyone, but that was our discussion re: my eye.
I have naturally low blood pressure. Just about every nutritional supplement plus the beta blocker (a recent addition) has the effect of lowering blood pressure.
Talk about putting the emphasis on the wrong syllables. .
Be forewarned -when visiting different doctors for different problems – each specializes and focuses on different information. But the body does not exist as a collection of different parts.
Neither the doctor administering my Lucentis shots for wet macular nor the first glaucoma specialist i saw a month ago ever inquired about my blood pressure.
Hah – there is a ton of info on the web on how to lower BP. How to RAISE BP? – not so much
Be well – Be safe – hug each other and pray for each other
Wishing you a wonderful near-the-end-of -summer weekend
Good morning, ms Idaho.
Holy cow!!! One eye is now officially blind. What’s – even- worse is a new debilitating chronic pain. First a retina specialist, then a glaucoma specialist and next week to a cornea specialist. Your info could be helpful. Thank you.
Will put and keep you in my prayers.
The worst part is – they don’t talk to each other and unless you have a recorder there is no way you will remember each discussion.
I am blessed not to have the pain – But I am sure you will run into the problem that easing / solving the pain will not necessarily be ‘good’ for everything else.
dunno if this might be good for what ails you – my new doc suggested a warm (not hot) compress for a few minutes.
That was because I told him the other doc suggested i bathe the eyelids/ eyelashes with baby shampoo to get the crud out in the morning.
as they say ‘rotsa ruck’
prayers up.
Yes, it seems they’re so busy; too busy to spend real time, -even ten friggin minutes- to query and really discuss the patient.
Have had records sent to each of them for history ……..and then I ask and ask…. and really have to probe for info. 🫤
Oh well… I pray they can easily stop Ma’s suffering.
She’s a trooper. Bless her.
Yes warm compress and sometimes cold, and some Tylenol.
that’s when you wish for a ‘controller’ or director?
Need a list of specific questions and the ability to record (write?) answers
then report back to ‘controller’
I may be lucky in that my Primary doc is recently out of internmanship and he not only studied with one of the better docs i have known (besides my own 🙂 ) but also spent time at 2 of the non traditional clinics we have worked with for years.
Not saying he has expertise in eye problems, but if i can ‘splain the problem to him he can make an intelligent response.
His clinic has what is called a Patient Portal – a huge plus when you want to share info but don’t really need an office visit. Docs, nurses and techs can read when they have time and get back to you.
a thought for you – write your specific questions and / or what you want your visit to accomplish. submit those questions prior to your visit. ask that the doc review the info prior to your arrival.
I think that my submission before Thursday’s visit helped a lot – maybe more than the records from the other eye doctors.
worth a try?
Good to know!
-I’ll do that; submit questions before visit.
Thank you.🫠
Oh Patience…I am so sorry for Ma. It’s a hard hard thing to watch those we love suffering. There needs to be a gene therapy to insert compassion into the medical field. I don’t know where it went.
Interesting dilemma.
Maybe I can set you up to spend a few weeks at my daughter’s house in New England.
If your BP hasn’t gone up 20 points by the end of two weeks then you just aren’t normal…. 🤣
yup = stress will do it. Hubby always said – stress fills the barrel
The reason I am ‘kicking’ myself mentally is because the stress from chemical exposure is exactly what i have been trying to overcome for 2 years.
To explain: in the mid 1980s Doc (now hubby) tested me and found i am super sensitive to chemicals and formaldehyde is devastating. We have managed to avoid bad air, water and food for most of the years since.
about 4 / 5 yrs ago we accepted an invitation to ‘house sit’ for a trucker (much like rah) after his divorce. The house was in farming country one of the most toxic locations in this part of Idaho. The eye bleed was my thanks.
Then, there are the 3 yrs of shots. Lucentis is gene therapy to stop the profusion of blood vessels and stop them from seeping fluid into the eye. Then there are the numbing and dilating drops (more chemicals) New glaucoma doc pointed out the shot itself causes inflammation plus the addition of more liquid into an eye that has trouble draining.
As i research supplements and herbs that have been part of my daily routine for a very long time most of them have the property of – guess what ? – lowering BP.
I’m searching for some – any – that will raise it – or at least not lower it.
Interesting dilemma is putting it mildly. Which butterfly do you chase?
I always chase the butterfly that’s easiest to catch first. Maybe cut back to 50% of your normal dose of the herbs and supplements (that affect BP) for a couple weeks to see if that has a positive effect on increasing your BP, then if it has only minor effect, cut back to 25 or 30% for a few more weeks. Might take a month or so to find out.
to complete your thought – surgery scheduled for Sept 12. Will try as many things as possible to increase bp.
if i correctly recall your previous posts – you have a good handle on the mechanics of things, right?
what i have learned is that there is a drainage system up near the front of the eye called trabecular network. For a variety of reasons these little drainage holes get plugged. More fluid gets into the eye than can get out. Depending on which kind of glaucoma you are dealing with, the docs seek alternate ways to drain the fluid.
My first doctor wanted to insert a shunt. The 2nd one wants to try a more conservative approach and ‘ream out’ or roto rooter’ a way for fluid to exit.
Then we got into the whole thing about low BP vs high eye pressure. When you look at it from a mechanical perspective you can see that it is easy to put pressure inside the eye and ‘close off’ or ‘block’ those little drainage holes. Low BP increases the problem because of the difference in the 2 pressures.
Than add the problem that the danger zone is night / sleeping. Pressures are normally taken during the day – and will be very unlikely to give the doc a measure of the true problem.
And, the only part of the problem i can possibly (??) affect is my BP
what i am trying to point out to treepers is that i have been watching my eye get worse since April of this year. Last Thursday was the first time anybody pointed out the pressures part of the problem – not what i thought was going on at all
And it is not a common part of an online discussion of glaucoma
Yes I am also surprised at the Low BP contribution to the problem; however your explanation makes sense.
Did a bit of online research and found this – which supports what you’ve stated.
https://www.brightfocus.org/glaucoma/article/blood-pressure-and-glaucoma
It does address the high BP problem which is what I had and caused some retinal myopathy before I got it under control. ButI’ve been routinely tested for glaucoma and so far…knock on wood…no issues.
But for Low BP, it appears to be a delicate balancing problem.
many many more folks have high bp
different problems with different solutions
this one was hiding in the grass (so to speak)
as you know – you can’t solve the problem if you don’t know what the problem is. you spend lots of time chasing the wrong butterfly
sigh – too soon we grow old, too soon we grow smart

Wow. Excellent video there. Same website that I found and linked to above. It also talked about cataract removal and its effect on endothelial cell loss. Of that I was not aware as I do have slow growing cataracts ad will eventually have to have them removed. My wife had hers removed a year or two back.
So many issues. I do hope your ophthalmologists find a way to preserve your vision longer.
re: cataracts – more re: treatment for wet macula
another common side effect of Lucentis is … wait for it …. cataracts
For years my ‘regular’ eye doc watched the one in my left eye. Suddenly, after a year of shots – they both ‘had to be done’.
It’s not that i regret the surgery, i just regret the string of side effects from the Lucentis. Don’t misunderstand me – Lucentis is a miracle drug. It does what it is represented to do – dry up the seepage and stop the proliferation of blood vessels. Given the imaging the doctor does every so many visits i expect it does more good things that they monitor.
So here we are 3 years later – sigh
If your cataracts are natural hang on as long as you can.
check out this website.
https://www.wisechoicemedicine.com/science-and-research/how-why-can-c-reverses-cataracts/
Can-C is specific for cataracts – and they encourage its use for dogs too. under normal circumstances i believe this would have prevented my cataracts – but you can’t prove it.
Oh wow Betsy. Sorry to read that. I appreciate your info about Lucentis if I ever have to deal with it.
AFAIK, my cataracts are just age -related. But I visited that website and have ordered a couple bottles of their special eye drops to see if there’s any improvement in mine after a month or two. I’ve had them for about 6 years since they were diagnosed but still not blurring my vision.
I almost volunteered. Per PG Wodehouse’s marvelous metaphors, one of his characters was so stressed he said, she could perform the sitting high jump perfectly.
I had that talent as well but have been working on it…so now I could probably garner only a bronze medal for the Sitting High Jump in whatever Olympics it might appear as an event.
LOL! Yes, the “sitting high jump”. How appropriately named.
Betsy, my father adored Wodehouse. He had a bookshelf full of old copies he bought at used bookstores.
He often called my house “Matcham Scratchings” because of our many cats…. When he visited and a cat would invariably hop up on his lap (they accurately sensed he was a peaceful gentle man), he would always say, “Who threw that cat?”
I discovered Wodehouse when I lived in the land of his birth. I was hooked immediately. And what a prolific writer he was! Not just books, though those were my favourites. Many a mood has been lifted by simply picking up any of his tomes. How can one read him and not be cheered?
And that wonderful reminisce of your father!! No wonder he adored Wodehouse. In fact, he sounds very much like my British father in law, who would say something just like that, then laugh at his own joke, as we did.
I trust you are familiar with Wodehouse’s works? My favourites were the ones he wrote about Blandings Castle and Lord Emsworth, and of course all the Jeeves and Woosters. Nobody wrote better and no one could make me smile as he did. Clever, clever, clever.🤗
I’ll add also that there is the most wonderful biography of him. I couldn’t put of down. It was interesting to read how close he came in WWII to being prosecuted as an unwitting traitor. I went to look for my copy and can’t find it, worst luck, hoping to give you the title and author.
In searching for it online I discovered there are several audio books of his stories. However I have always preferred the feel of a book. Nevertheless they are there if you ever have a hankering to listen to one.
Now, back to searching for that book!
Oh what a gift to see you, ms Idaho. You have been missed by all, and very much on my mind for weeks, prayers always continuing.
Yes! Whole body health. And yet I find the same as you do. Doctors today are not educated in that. Just as they are not educated in how important nutrition is for that whole body health.
I am overjoyed to find you here today, and I hope you and Doc and your brother are are all three being granted some physical comfort. And yes, a palpable peace during your physical tribulations. Blessings always.🙏
Thanks Betsy. I have been visiting some and lurking. The old adage – if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all – especially when it is a challenge to read and write 🙂
Have missed you here in the treehouse. Have been praying that you and Doc are ok. God bless you both.
thank you Marti.
like the cat hanging on the limb of the tree – we’re ‘hanging in there’
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers.
our lives kind of remind me of our old description of ‘flying cross country’ – as opposed to lessons at or near our home airport.
Hours and hours of boredom punctuated by moments of start terror

Blessings sent back your way. Be well. Be happy. Enjoy each God-Given day
I found this…”A wise man once said nothing.” Beats whoever it was (Alice Roosevelt Longworth?) who said, “If you can’t say something nice, come sit next to me.”
I’m just glad to see you, with prayers up for all you’re going through and particularly September 12..
oh, i’m not sure i’m going thru anything worse than many of our beloved treepers. I would not have posted this – but what i learned re: glaucoma and LOW BP was an absolute stunner and i felt i had to share.
About the time we think we knw what’s going on we find we have blinders and iggorance.
as Sundance says about bad political news – once you see it you can’t unsee it.
it was there all along for the finding.
humbling – that’s the word
I understand. Humbling indeed.
Thanks for sharing the info Ms Idaho! And may you have success managing your eye pressure

Pentagon Mandates Monkeypox Vaccine, But Only For Navy
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Pentagon has announced they will be making the new Monkeypox vaccine mandatory, but just for the Navy.
“After careful research into how Monkeypox is spread, we have determined the Navy to be at dire risk,” said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
“The other branches, meh – should be fine.”
The Pentagon became aware of the acute danger Monkeypox presented after the entire crew of the U.S.S. Harvey Milk tested positive last week.
“We heard reports of the first case last week, then all of a sudden – boom! The whole ship goes down. Quite the medical mystery.”
At publishing time, Navy servicemen had replied to the mandate saying … no one will obey any more orders from Secretary Austin “until he takes off that stupid face shield”.

Good one – added to my playlist. Reminded me of a poster yesterday on one of the other threads that believes God will not allow America/us to be destroyed. I asked why not??? Is there some redeeming factor in our societies that would prevent us from the same fate as that of His Chosen people throughout history?? By all measurement, we are much, much, much worse in our decent into darkness and away from what is given to us by God. What on earth makes us so special today?? The video presents this very well, we are ALL (OK mostly) just as guilty and are pretty much willing participants. God does not destroy – nope we/our evil is what destroys – we destroy ourselves. May the Lord in His mercy allow the light to once again illuminate us individually and the world/universe.

Bobby Hebb saw his own composition, “Sunny”, become the best selling single in America when it reached the top of the Cashbox chart. The tune has been covered by dozens of other artists, but none achieved the success of the original.

For Treepers in south-central PA, if you are a listener to the Christian radio station HOPE FM (100.3 in Harrisburg area),
the transmission of programming has been restored.
I exchanged a couple of email messages with a representative of the station. The transmission of programming service has been unavailable for approximately one week.
.
She told me that they had no idea why the transmission took a nose-dive, that they have been working feverishly to restore service, and that it was only the Pennsylvania stations that were affected.
Cause of problem is not on my radar screen yet, but I admit to having suspected interference from tech friends of our God-less, unscrupulous, destructive, Christian bashing Executive Branch of State Govt.
Beautiful music glorifying God is floating through our home.

Thank you, warrprin1. I have not had that station on my radio since I have two great Christian stations from Lewisburg area. I will try to get that one too, not sure if I can, they might be too far away from me. I enjoy much good music and Sunday Church service on the stations that I get. Always willing to have another Christian station. Have a Blessed day and keep on Praising the Lord!!
So glad, warrprin. I more than suspect you are not wrong.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.

Yes, been reading about this for a while, and it’s very scary.
This is good and shocking info that needs to find it way under the eyes of all those “normies” who still think (erroneously) the Covid vaxx were intended to protect them. Couldn’t be farther from the truth.
This has been determined to be the case. It’s when extrapolating from this knowledge into the future that the full horror shows itself.
I read an article in late 2020 on the British site WINTEROAK…Klaus Schwab and His Great Fascist Reset…which is still up on many other sites, which explained in full that this was intended….2020! No one was talking about this then. The article is long and extensively footnoted. It was all out there. A terrifying read. I knew when I read it, that satan walked this earth in human form.

I am praying that our merciful and forgiving God will not turn His face from us.
Thanks for article betsy. Wowza
Happy cartoons and cereal day everyone.
to you, levi….

Well, Sherry is under the weather so I made dinner for myself. BLTs are what I wanted and what I made. Two of them. I like mine on white bread lightly toasted. Slather plenty of Mayo on both pieces of toast and build from there. iceberg lettuce from the store and tomato out of the garden.
The bacon is thick cut and fried the old fashioned way to that perfect texture of half way between chewy and crispy that I like. Having many years ago been a cook at Waffle House I know how to do that.
Amen.
Amen 🙏
Amen.
Amen
Amen.
Amen!
Amen
Amen…
Amen.
Heads up! Here it comes. The National Hurricane Center does not see it yet.
National Hurricane Center (noaa.gov)
But Joe does. This time next week we could very well be talking about where a major hurricane is going to go. Joe has been arguing with them about this. I always go with Joe. The Madden Julian Oscillation is going into phase 2 which is conducive for development and storms hitting the US.
There is an interesting feature in the Gulf he is looking at but is withhold judgment on that one. The one which he is really looking hard at is a disturbance out in the middle of the Atlantic. He believes there is a very good chance it will develop into a hurricane and mentioned hurricane Donna several times in connection with it. Donna carried hurricane force winds all the way from Puerto Rico up the east coast to Maine. By the time I post my weather outlook next weekend based on Joes Saturday Summary we shall know for sure just how bad this thing may be.
For the Continental US. All across the northern US will be warmer than average for the next couple weeks. Texas, you remain cooler and wetter than normal.
Out in the Pacific things are going to be firing up also. Off the coast of China and especially south of Japan it is looking like it is Typhoon time.
Hard to miss the hype about drought in China in the news. The reality is that half the country is in drought and the other half has received a little more than average rainfall. As usual when it bleeds it leads and in this case it would not bleed unless they only told half of the story. Something they are very practiced at, as we all know.
Joes Saturday Summary video is only about 9 minutes long this time. I highly suggest those interested watch it. Watching this now and then seeing what we are looking at a week from now I suspect will demonstrate just how good Joe really is to you.
As usual scroll down to the free video.
