They first did this with Cohen, several years ago.
The only way they can LEGALLY breach attorney/client priviledge and sieze such documents, is if the attorney crosses the line from counciling a client regarding legal matters, to telling them HOW to break the law, or is participating in the commission of a crime.
Saying “next time, wear gloves, stupid!” would technically be an example, but in application the prosecutors would need more. And, in order to get a search warrant to seize a lawyers priviledged communication, they would (or should) need quite a bit of evidence to support an allegation the lawyer has crossed the line, and is actually participating in the commission of a crime..
In the end, with Cohen the crime he was alleged to have participated in, which was the justification for breaching atty/client priviledge, WASN’T A CRIME.
It was an ADMINISTRATIVE legal ‘violation’ of campaign finance laws, NOT a criminal violation.
Hence, the original piercing of atty/client priviledge was not justified, and any evidence was forbidden fruit.
It was a relatively rare example of them succesfully (in a LEGAL sense) using lawfare, which distorts law into a pretzel.
However, in the Court of Public Opinion, it was no victory.
So, having siezed those records, they will now try to “make the case” that PDJT and his lawyers, in filing this lawsuit against Hillary et al, or some other joint action were conspiring together to committing a crime, as that is the only way they can justify piercing Atty/client priviledge.
Perhaps this DOES all lead back to “Insurrection” narrative,..or some statute which includes “a conviction bars serving in public office”, as that is their goal.
They began with a Legal search using variations on those words “conviction bars serving in public office” and then are working backwards, to find ANY convoluted path from their, back to PDJT.
I believe this will be another loss, in the Court of Public Opinion, even IF they should prevail in Court, but I guess they are coming from the positiin of “nothing to lose, so might as well try”.

In fact, if the American people had been told after the Constitutional Convention that the Constitution was bringing into existence a federal government that included a national police force, it is a virtual certainty that they never would have approved the deal, in which case the country would have continued operating under the Articles of Confederation, a type of governmental system in which the federal government’s powers were so weak that it didn’t even have the power to tax.

So, you are right and not right. We won’t see them handing out speeding tickets, they aren’t concerned with most state laws. They have authorization but have to be invited for some state crimes. But if it is a federal crime, they are fully authorized, unless the crime has been designated as a different agency’s responsibility.
Some crimes won’t be investigated unless they are committed on federal property, making them federal crimes.
But not all federal crimes happen on federal property.
And never forget that we have federalized quite a few laws so that we can put people in double jeopardy if we don’t like the outcomes under state law.

It’s just the primary on Aug 16. The top four advance to the November general election.
Narrowing the candidates simply concentrates the ability to commit fraud.
With fewer candidates available, “Ranked Choice” becomes even more deceptive by allowing a candidate with inferior numbers initially to outperform the tally of more “preferred” candidates outright.
Second and third choices bolster the tally for prominent candidates.
With only 4 candidates to choose from, voters are more inclined to “Rank” each; as opposed to voting for their top choice only.
By doing so, they inadvertently set into motion the opportunity for the steal.

King Charles I took a group of armed soldiers to the House of Commons to arrest five of his enemies. It sparked a civil war in England, in which Charles I was beheaded.
So, our woke government probably wants to establish a “social credit” score to everyone based on what websites they visit, and subscribe to, and whether they donate to “deplorable” causes. Then, when they get around to digital currency, they can use this score to block your ATM, or for things like gasoline purchases, etc.
I think it is time we give our government a “Tyranny Rating,” and update it regularly. It would be on a scale of 0 – 100.
After the FBI raid on Mara-Lago, I’d suggest a “Tyranny Rating” of 95.

This is the most realistic description of Ukrainian artillery difficulties I’ve found. Artillery has historically been a Russian Army strength. They are using heavy bombardment to off set infantry and armor deficiencies.

I’m just worried that the fix is in because back when I lived in DC, I worked with a woman who was married to a guy at the State Dept and she told me that it had been decided that we were going to Iraq long before they even voted on it—so the vote is just for show, to maintain the illusion that this isn’t a dictatorship.
