Many in our country have unfortunately turned away from God. There are so many reasons, but modern academia (if you can call it that – more like public indoctrination) is at the top of my list. The only real approval that truly means anything is our higher power (I choose to call God Almighty). Using the “public health scare” to shut people out of places of worship to me was a huge red flag.

I vote in an over 90% black district. In 2008 for the first time ever there was a line to vote – a line that went out the building and down the block.
In 2012, it was back to no line just walk in and vote no wait as it’s always been. I’ve always believed Romney won in 2012.
First time around it might have been possible, white guilt vote and a hyped minority. The second time around was complete fraud. The laws of probability do not permit for every registered voter in a single district voting for the same candidate, and that’s exactly what happened in one particular district of Philly.

I thought of something again this morning while trying to untangle a backlash rats nest of braided fishing line on my bass rod, that is if my Governor DeSantis were at all serious about stemming the flow of Unregulated Persons and Deadly Poison Dope he would have implemented checkpoints at all road entrances into our State.
Many other States already have them to inspect for inter State marijuana trafficking, and I drove through a CBP checkpoint back in 03 in Las Cruces, NM. Florida has Agricultural Inspection stations on the back roads all over the rural northern Counties.
I don’t want to hear a peep about the impact to tourism and/ or commerce, as that is Abbott’s excuse for not inspecting every single car, truck and train car that bring the lion’s share of Cartel destruction. I am beyond alarmed at the influx of hard dope addicts being referred to treatment by the Courts.
The increase of Caribbean island families and middle aged males in the Florida Panhandle is apparent.
The Governor launched this new treatment gimmick, but it won’t help anything if they don’t cut the majority of the supply off. There already aren’t enough accredited therapists/counselors that are worth a damn, and the County jails and State Prisons are about brim full. Most unfortunates with drug problems are uninsured which means there is a significant wait for beds at State funded rehabs. The Florida the Governor is selling has a seething underbelly.

Reasons range from regular citizens’ “knowledge gap” due to a lack of interaction with those in uniform, to an “identity gap” that prevents outsiders from seeing themselves as fitting in, to an all-important “trust gap” where young people are “disillusioned” with the armed forces.
Combining internal Pentagon survey data and the Military Officers Association of America’s approaches forecasts a dreary future for the armed forces. Of the 32 million Americans age-eligible for uniformed service, only 23 percent are initially qualified to serve. Once academic eligibility is accounted for, that drops to just over 10 percent (3.53 million). But wait, it gets worse!
Decades beyond mandatory conscription, the key question now is how many youth are even interested in military service. Only nine percent of eligible young people in the US demonstrated the propensity to serve, according to the survey data, leaving around 321,000 — a brutally low 1.01 percent — of the total age-eligible population both qualified and inclined to join the military.
A few numbers on the matter to ponder:
Typical attrition for the Armed Services has run at about a 5%+ clip.
The services are admitting they cannot even recruit to replace this attrition rate.
Then the services turn around and are planning to (or have) discharged another nearly 20% of their ranks for non-compliance with the mandated COVID Injections.
Then, there are claims the actual pool of potential recruits is substandard physically and mentally before the “woke-trans” factor, as is considered in this article.
The scuttlebutt I’m hearing is everyone wants out. Look for that attrition rate to climb.
My son who is in, is stating the same thing. He has 10 months left and now can’t wait to get out.
The Marines right now are not doing themselves any favors by offering larger bonuses or select duty assignments as they have done in the past. He was offered around 15k and a choice of east or west coast, that was it. And this was for a six year enlistment.
When I was getting out in the mid 90’s they offered me 35k and my choice of B billet (specialized duty needed for further promotion).
I know that bonuses can differ wildly due to MOS, but what they offered him was a pittance I believe for an already well trained and committed Marine.
He is not alone in walking away from the military as many others in his unit are doing the same in the next 16 months.
I pray for this country.

In the late 1960s I worked in the typing pool of a large, regional insurance company office. It was not unusual for a letter (dictated on the old dictaphone belts) to require 9-11 carbon copies.
My typing speed and accuracy increased significantly during those years because a typo meant laboriously and carefully separating each onionskin copy (very carefully, so the multiple copies wouldn’t slip, since they were still around the platen) so the error could be erased by hand, before rolling it all back in, and typing the correct letter.
Those were also the years I fell in love with the IBM Selectric. Never ever found a better workhorse machine. Sure wish I hadn’t sold mine.
I do still have my uncle’s 1914 Underwood, which he used during his WWI service in France.
I remember at that time, attorneys, elected officials, would come into my office with the request to immediately “fire off” a letter or court motion,(with numerous carbon copies), while standing behind me and dictate. Then sign off on the original; take all and dash out the door.
Sometimes, the dictation was over the phone and then I was the “errand girl” to certain offices, or court(s).
Proudly, no mistakes or perhaps one insignificant. You don’t see that anymore, Hell, today, they cannot even “sign their names”….

This is especially true at the Municipal Levels and ESPECIALLY during Primaries when the candidates for State and National office are selected. With less than 15-20% voter turn-out (for Primaries) not much cheating is needed to place the “right candidates” on the ballot.
With respect to November 2022, President Trump has actually beat Shanghai Mitch at his own game … he created “blocks” of legal voters, got honest poll watchers in place and pushed the participation rate to near and above 20% to make cheating impractical due to the numbers and focused precinct environment.
Get people to vote and understand it starts with the Primaries and Municipal where they live.

Framers of the American Constitution had developed well-thought out ways to limit this elite profiteering — from working over ideas from The Enlightenment. Counterbalancing/competing powers are absolutely essential if there is to be any real breathing room for most people.
We will have to restore, redevelop, develop anew these American political limits. The U.S. of A. is the only country that has had the right conditions and passionate need and desire to build this.
The beginning of the end for the American Experiment was not the immigration of marxism into America; it was the failure to limit the personal profit-taking of the “elite” without requiring them to return portions (rather than pittances) to the workers – and other entrepreneurs from whose creativity they profited.
This is not a socialist argument, but a hard-headed one of the American-political-system need to prevent the wealthy from developing their own “empires,” e.g., Robber Barons of the 19th C with both corporate empires and personal “charity” foundation empires. They began to rule — the beginning of the end.

Those who believe eliminating state-wide elections for senators would solve the problem forget that Americans who campaigned (like a Donald Trump) for an end to the national corruption of the wealthy owning every local election for political office — paid for by Robber Baron profits and crimes — hoped to have “the people” of every state limit this control by wealth and criminality. There was no local control. Everyone was bought and paid for. The basic problem just changed venue – now owning as many states as possible.
Nothing ever works without the will to limit wealth and enable all those who produce it to profit. This is not socialism this is true “free enterprise,” not “capitalism.” Remember “capitalism” is Marx’s term, I believe – attempting to pit class against class. The issue was completely different.
The American Civil War was fought (the only country ever to fight such a war) to end a slave economy and to permit free enterprise on a “free citizen” level. The Populist and Progressive Parties of the 19th and early 20th Cs were both intent on setting limits to amassing wealth and thus stealing productivity .
Second P.S. to this American history – these elites have been increasing their wealth on a logarithmic basis until the Global Robber Barons of the present – WEF, etc. Every elite-controlled society has self-destructed because of the end of real creativity and productivity. Just to refresh the facts in front of all Americans in the United States of America concerning the fraudulent 2020 presidential election:
“Fraud vitiates everything” …….. That enduring opinion was the crux of the landmark decision handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court in the 1878 case of United States versus Throckmorton.
Ipso facto, the outcome of a POTUS election that is rife with one-sided fraud and criminality is rendered null and void.
Especially any result which saw the winner attain his or her victory through fraudulent means and/or criminal conduct is automatically canceled and invalid under the law.
The same U.S. Supreme Court ruling also determined that fraud vitiates contracts. An election is essentially a binding contract between the electorate and the elected. This indispensable social contract is irreparably broken through voter fraud and election cyber-crimes as the public trust is profoundly violated.
The transparent Democrat-directed election theft of 2020 has rent asunder the sacred covenant between the elected and the electors. Hence, Joe Biden’s illicitly declared victory is illegitimate and therefore annulled forthwith.
The Biden-Harris ticket has also forfeited any right to a recount or a re-run of the election because of their highly organized and premeditated fraud perpetrated to outright steal it.

The guy was recently out of active duty Marines, Captain, and still in reserves. Before that he graduated Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown, and at the time of his disappearance, he was in law school at Georgetown, just ostensibly taking his summer vacay… reporting in Syria.
