He was only in the race to enhance his resume. By propping him up to be the leader of the pack Biden is now a legitimate candidate thus preventing Trump’s in-depth inquisition for fear of election fraud charges. It turns out to be an added benefit that they got an easily manipulated pupet in the process. The Senate went along with all this because most of them have their dirty little hands in the Ukrainian corruption pie too.

I don’t know why there is so much talk about whether Biden will run again in 2024. I would have thought that on the day that he was sworn in that it was already a forgone conclusion that Biden would not be running in 2024 . Biden will be lucky if he can manage to stay in office/alive until the end of this term.
Even if Joe wanted to run (with “Dr Jill” edging him on) there is absolutely no way that the democratic establishment would ever support another Biden run in 2024 and of course there will no shortage of democrats who will not be afraid to challenge him in a primary.
