A mother or father who successfully home schooled their kids, should automatically be eligible to become a teacher. 🤔
Teacher Prep colleges stay in business because their degree is the passport to a job. Then once you are teaching you can make extra money by getting an advanced degree thereby providing jobs for additional professors. Next, the teachers’ unions provide money to legislatures to ensure laws are enacted to preclude anyone without a passport from teaching at any level regardless of real world experience. Also, in RI teachers must be provided a lay-off notice before March 1. This law has been unsuccessfully challenged multiple times. Most town/city budgets aren’t passed until May, precluding any school budget decreases regardless of TAXPAYER demands. 10-12th step teacher salary is over $80,000 in some RI school districts. Starting salaries are $40,000. Imagine doubling your salary in 10-12 years and let’s not forget the advanced degree stipends, longevity stipends, health care buy-backs that increase yearly salaries by 5% to 10% or more. When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, “drop to your knees and beg,” and he would have done it…

The two have been escalating barbs. There is at least one prior Trump comment. And at least one prior Musk comment. But I don’t know where this started. There were previous recent exchanges throughout Musk’s Twitter stunt.
We do tend to hear Trump’s responses before we hear what drew Trump’s response.

Multiple senior Trump officials and a person with first-hand knowledge told the Daily Caller that former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows would not answer Hutchinson’s calls after she was subpoenaed.
A Meadows spokesperson confirmed those claims to the Daily Caller, saying Meadows didn’t return those calls to avoid the appearance of improperly influencing any testimony.

As I read the posts that Sundance has brought to us from Sri Lanka, Holland, etc. a thought has come to mind.
It is very correct that what these WEF’ers are trying to implement is communism, but I think we need to take back our language and call it what it really is:
Feudalism. They want to be the royalty. The holders of all rights and property.
We need to call it what it is. Feudalism. Slavery. Take your pick.
So I think about what was the driver for so many of our forefathers? My forefathers? The idea of freedom! Some of my ancestors put themselves into bondage on the hope that they could become free, they were not free where they came from. In some cases, they were considered worth less than a farm animal. How was that freedom expressed? The ability to own property and make your own way. Every man had the opportunity to do so. Was it easy? No. But, they were not beholden to the local Duke or Baron or whatever.
I have been very fortunate to stand upon the shoulders of my ancestors and breathe freely. I can not, will not abdicate that benefit for my son, his children or his children’s children. That would be unforgivable.
How we proceed from here, I don’t have the answers. I just know we must do something. There are many more wise than me. I look for their advice (Sundance, among many) and do my share as best as I can. And yes, I put a whole lot of Trust in the Lord.
Yes, the US forefathers were ones with huge amounts of grit and determination. We also need to remember that this land called America with significant numbers of European people was about 150 years old at the time of 1776 and of course the first “discovery” of the area was almost 300 years old from Columbus.
All those brave Europeans yearning to breath free had this new wide open territory to “escape” to. And yes, they did “run away” from something. Currently, the entire world is awash with those feudal wannabes. There seems to be nowhere where they ain’t. We here in the US are lucky that this country is so huge compared to Europe. And there are areas of refuge. Probably the entire of Europe could fit in the eastern half of the US and probably Alaska is almost as big as Europe itself.

What’s also odd to me is I was watching a live feed from the time the shooter was still in parking lot of school, and watched all of it from then on. I couldn’t believe he got in and then what all happened from that point.
Certainly messed up and I knew it the entire time I was watching. It was gut wrenching seeing the parents begging the cops to do something, hearing each shot, knowing their kids were inside. Parents held back, threatened, while cops let it happen. What I saw, I will not forget or excuse. All those cops…one shooter..innocent children…the cops had guns to fight back, kids didn’t. FUBAR.
