I think for a variety of safety reasons from lawfare and elsewhere, regarding business and politics,along with his first priority in his heart his own family, not only wanting to desperately save America…

If he can get enough good and brave people to serve with him and if the midterms are not stolen, maybe he will. He needs to weigh carefully the danger he is in if he declares his candidacy. It will triple in possible attacks and he must be able to govern. Look what happened last time besides the stolen election. He was boxed in on all sides after the election. They effectively held him hostage and then dropped the set up on him when Jan.6 happened. So much and it will be worse this time.
So, if he can gather enough good and brave patriots around him to put in place when he wins, if he has the American people fully behind him, then I pray he runs again. That’s unusual. I would have expected the reverse. Some corporate edict that franchises avoid questioning employees on immigration status because that would be just racist.
The part where franchise owners who in fact disregard the legal status of their employees also don’t care about legal obligations in settlement agreements is more of what I expect to see.
Dunkin’ Donuts and the rest of the group of franchise businesses were bought up by private equity less than two years ago. This move to clean up the immigration situation probably is a result of the new owners wanting to distance the parent organization from the sins of their newly-acquired business group.

One that says AMERICANS have had enough and we are paying attention and we are saying NO MORE to our out of control govts.-both state and local. The trucker protest was just not strong enough and looked like a weak copy of the Canadians.
Wishful thinking by me at this point anyway. I just want more Americans to pay attention, to become ready, willing and able to fight for this country in real time, not behind a computer.
I know people have families and are afraid, but enough of us have to do something like the Dutch are doing. Some kind of action like a week long work strike in certain kinds of businesses that would really make a shockwave. There has to be action taken soon while we still have a chance to change things, or we will be swimming in very deep water and a lot of us will drown.
Everyone is looking to the midterms to help change the momentum of the left. I for one, do not think that will turn out the way everyone thinks. There has to be much more prepared and ready to go if this election fails to take power from the current politicians in control, including the traitor Republican rinos. The indicators are strong that the elections will be tampered with again. Just look at GA and CO Secretary of State primaries.
The Dems are not in full panic mode either which tells me they have been told not to worry too much. Nancy Pelosi is still running, changed her mind about retiring. Why? She never risks losing big and being the one in charge. She will not be afraid to declare the Dems will keep the House or take the Senate or both, if she knows it’s in the bag already. Watch and listen to her as Nov. approaches. She will tell the story. Be prepared for whatever happens.

Plus the deflation of the asset bubble will cause the upper 10% to reduce elective spending as well.
At the same time, a very good portion of the inexpensive oil has been used; leaving increasingly more expensive oil that will require a sustained +100/bbl price in order to be profitably developed. Assuming the policies of the government don’t hamper even profitable development, which their current anti-fossil energy policies are.
There is a path forward though. Second-generation nuclear technology that transforms nuclear waste into energy, can produce synthetic oil from water and CO2, and starts to become cost-competitive between $100-$200/bbl for fossil oil.
The Davos crowd doesn’t want to do this because they are an unhinged death cult of navel-gazing religious zealots hell-bent on reducing the human population to below 500 million by 2050.
The simple fact is we still have ‘generally’ affordable fossil energy (absent stupid/evil government policies), but it will still take decades to transform humanity into this nuclear energy paradigm of unlimited energy.
In addition to time, this transformation will take a lot of remaining increasingly expensive fossil energy to accomplish before it starts to generate more energy than it’s using of existing fossil sources to build it out.

I had no idea CERN eats about 1/5 of something like that. Quite the electricity bill.
At peak consumption, usually from May to mid-December, CERN uses about 200 megawatts of power, which is about a third of the amount of energy used to feed the nearby city of Geneva in Switzerland.
I put that in a response a little bit ago. In 2017 the LHC needed 120 MW and CERN as a whole needed 230 MW.

I take them for every health apt and do everything for school, after school activities, etc. Our older one doesn’t want to see him anymore- if I don’t force her to go I will be told I am guilty of parental alienation. Sometimes one of the parents is dysfunctional and I promise you, the courts don’t care one bit.
Everything you describe here can also be occurring when there is no divorce and both parents are living under the same roof, still married.
The courts can’t compel the thoughts or behaviors of individuals in either case.
A few decades ago a divorced friend of mine (and I was divorced at the time) was whining about all the problems of being single/divorced: couldn’t get someone to fix her vacuum was in the lead for worst thing that ever happened. I pointed out to her that there were a lot of women who were married who couldn’t get anyone in the house to fix their vacuum cleaner either.
My (now late) hubby and I remarried after 6 1/2 years divorced, partly because we figured out that most of our so-called marriage problems were really just life problems.

I think fossil fuels started out as organic substances. Seems to me we have plenty of those fuels, meaning we have all kinds of energies available. The problem is what one calls pollution; meaning that which is not used in creating energy or is considered a negative by product is bad for our environment.
What should we do about this? I suggest our national government create a system of financial rewards (great amounts) for those who seek a solution to those “negative” by products that arise when using fossil fuels, meaning they find ways to take what is considered harmful and convert it to something that is neutral or positive.

Flip that to a someone waving a gay pride flag alongside a parade route for Christian activists. Police would protect and support the gay pride waver.

In December, 2020, the CME Group, a stock exchange in USA, launched futures contracts related to California’s spot water, a market of 1.1 billion. The index is based on prices in California’s major river basins, where water scarcity has increased in recent years.
For the first time in history, Water has been commoditized and it’s becoming less of of a human right. You can now speculate on water futures contracts trading on the stock market. It’s true that 75% of the earth is covered in water. But most of it is salty. Humans require fresh water, which represents only 3% of the planets total amount.
Of that 3%, most of it is locked way in ice caps & glaciers. Leaving only 1% of water on earth fit and available for human consumption! No wonder the Chinese are setting debt traps allover the continent to get exclusive rights to fresh water Bodies! And this is no joke. China is also becoming one of the water stressed countries.
The next wars will be fought over water NOT oil!
IN the US this only works by creating a supply problem or failing to create reservoirs. And that would only work in an arid area.
Water is a continually recycled resource. Water “shortages are mostly reservoir shortages. Well over 90% that falls on the US runs back into the ocean where it evaporates. The rest goes to aquifers or evaporates on land.
Some regions require tight management (e.g. Colorado) others have to deal with oversupply (flooding).

Among the orders promulgated by the civil administrator is Order 394, which deals with foreign investments. This order plays a leading role in the forced march of Iraq toward a neo-liberal economy. This order, according to its preamble, aims at “…the need for the development of Iraq and its transition from a non-transparent centrally planned economy to a market economy…” In fact, it is designed to deprive future Iraqi authorities of all economic sovereignty and prerogatives. It comports five main points:
1) It allows foreign investors to enjoy exactly the same rights as the Iraqis in developing the national market. Thus, the future government will not be able to favor Iraqi investors or companies. However, it is clear that up until now, United States corporations have enjoyed a position of privilege5 to the detriment of their Iraqi counterparts.
2) It privatizes the entire Iraqi public sector. Thus, some 200 national companies have been affected: railroads, electricity, water supply and sewerage (infrastructures for the most part destroyed by the U.K.-U.S. coalition), television and radio, hospitals (which were previously free), telephone service (the U.S. standard, CDMA has been imposed on Iraq), airports etc. Even the prisons may well be privatized in time.
