The Supreme Court has added another opinion day this week. The court will issue opinions on both Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. EDT. There are 13 cases that still remain to be decided.
So are they holding off on releasing the Dobbs abortion decision because:
a) Roberts is still trying to flip, Barrett or Kavenaugh
b) The release of Landmark Decisions is usually reserved for the end of the session
c) They are going to release the decision last, after the Justices have left DC and been secured somewhere safe to protect them from violent, psychotic moonbats
d) Roberts isn’t going to make anything public until he finds the leaker / sarc.
e) A major diversion is needed or here are no major “landmark” decisions by the democrats needed to be center stage to advance their agenda.
Roberts will be told when to release the decision.
Points a to c are good .. point d is moot as they know who did the leaking and don’t care.

Why does anyone even think this Court will reverse Roe with Barrett and Kavanaugh? The Dems will win twice this week, gun control and Roe. Just like McConnell wants. He’s getting his revenge on us for voting in President Trump.
This is what I think,too. They aren’t going to reverse Roe. This was just a way of getting coservative hopes up. When was the last time anything went our way? The Supremems are as worthless as the congress and the executive.
I like Thomas, Alito and Gorsuch. Not sure about Barrett and Kavanaugh. I don’t count Roberts at all.

In 2016 Donald Trump won the state of Georgia 50.4% to 45.3%. Republicans won the state in every presidential election since 1992 when Bill Clinton took the state thanks to Ross Perot. In 2020, President Trump increased his votes in the state by 372,000 votes. Joe Biden, who did not campaign, won 596,000 more votes than Hillary Clinton did in 2016. We now know that ballot traffickers pushed Joe Biden over the top with tens of thousands of illegal votes in 2020.
But that doesn’t explain 2022.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who could not win his own district as a representative to the state convention, surprisingly won his primary two weeks ago over a popular Republican with 52% of the vote. Raffensperger was polling around 25%. Raffensperger is also a committed Never-Trumper.
Brian Kemp, who was booed at the state convention, surprisingly won his primary in Georgia after a rally with Mike Pence, by 74% to 22%.
And on Tuesday, popular conservative and Trump supporter Vernon Jones — who just months ago would receive a rock star’s welcome at rallies — lost to his opponent Mike Collins. Vernon Jones lost his race 76% to 24%.
So Georgia was a clean sweep against President Trump and his supporters. If we want to believe the numbers — Trump only has 24% support from the conservatives in the state.
We know the machines they use, that Brad Raffensperger purchased, are able to be breached and manipulated. A recent government report confirmed this. Something is going on in Georgia. Or maybe it’s too late to save the state.

I think this article simply exposes their corruption and absence of morality or ethics so easily for anyone to see it. Until anyone has have hard evidence that the election results reasonably follow the very recent pre-election polling (done by polling orgs. NOT affiliated with the GOP), they’re making an unsupported assumption by blaming voters.
When I see an incumbent polling poorly and significantly below the challenger(s) just before the election and then that incumbent wins by a significant margin, we should be extremely suspicious that fraud has likely been committed by parties working on behalf of the incumbent, amd should demand immediate investigations .

The politicians indifference became obvious decades ago in New York. RINOS were born when the RNC permitted redistricting and rezoning.
And the media also had a total makeover YEARS ago. I witnessed an entire newsroom change out with massive retirements. The new hires all had foreign sounding names.
Finally! I have been saying this for years! The states most challenged for water are also the states most hellbent on packing in as much excess population, in the form of illegal (and also legal) immigration as possible.
This was exacerbated greatly by the last real estate boom and bust, where we saw the states with the greatest amount of illegal immigration also having the greatest amount of mortgage default and foreclosure.

California has quadrupled in population since 1950, roughly. Nevada has had its population explode by a factor of roughly 20 over the same period of time. Arizona had about 750,000 residents in 1950 and today sports over 7.5 million, an expansion of about ten times.
Hoover Dam was completed in 1936 and the snowfall and land area from which Lake Mead collects water has not increased by one square foot since, obviously, while the number of people who think they can just come out there and draw on an inexhaustible resource has skyrocketed.
Folks this is not “climate change”, its people overwhelming a fixed resource. No small part of those people are illegal immigrants and the spawn they dropped out after coming here too, so our policy of “open door anywhere, come and******our land” is and has been for decades bringing ruin.

One fascinating and unexpected point that seemed to emerge was the trend as to which States imposed the highest fuel taxes when considering: State Income Tax vs NO State Income Tax. I had labored under the assumption that States without an Income Tax were using peripheral taxes, such as a tax on fuel, to make up some of the needed revenue.
I WAS WRONG.
Also, it appears a full blown tax moratorium (local through federal) could save up to about 40-50 cents per gallon, which is at least something. Yet, even that is still less than a 10% savings over the cost of the average costs being realized…then where does the government get their tax money if the moratorium is conducted, the old squeeze the balloon problem.

Having followed Ukraine war news closely, it’s obvious both sides are shooting down a fair number of drones.
It’s also obvious that both sides are getting a lot of good use out of drones for attack and surveillance. Most of these drones are not very expensive or high tech.
The Grey Eagle strike drones are pretty high tech, somewhat stealthy, fairly long range, can loiter, and are not that easy to detect on radar. An area with lots of air defense radar would be risky, but Russia doesn’t have the hardware to cover everything heavily, and many places hardly at all.
Bottom line, Grey Eagles will find lots of valuable targets with minimal risk of detection and destruction.
An example is the recent video of the clearly low tech Ukrainian drone doing a suicide attack on the Russian oil refinery in Rostov.

Speaking of the ridiculous engine destroying ethanol increase, we’ve been removing ethanol from 89 octane pump gas for a while now. Simple process of adding one cup of colored water to one gal of pump gas. Shake well & let settle for 6-8 hours. The ethanol binds with water but gas will not bind with water. Once settled, just drain out the water/ethanol mix leaving straight non-ethanol gas behind. Easy to see the separation of the 2 because gas is lighter than water. Works great and all of the equipment runs better
How is this implemented with personal vehicles/1 gallon at a time, when drivers (other than farmers or commercial folks with large storage tanks) usually/simply carry the gas home in the tank?
You would need to invest in a 15-20 gallon , separate storage tank and a siphon, empty the vehicle tank into the storage tank, and then return it to the vehicle one gallon at a time, every 6-8 hours.?
Maybe I’m missing what’s obvious to someone else. I grew up on a farm but didn’t know about bunches of stuff that my brothers and dad did then, so have no way to remember it now.
Along similar lines, one son/wife live within short driving distance from me. We’ve already discussed him getting a siphon, and then my (relatively small–2006 Equinox) car tank can be backup resource for them. I can fill up when/where I’m allowed, drive to their house, they can siphon off 10-12 gallons, and I can fill again on the way home. Might be helpful in a pinch. Dunno.

He said the Army prohibits cursive in everything! I can see where you might want to eliminate it for some reason on an official communication to ensure clarity, since not everyone’s cursive is legible…but in a letter to home?

My oldest granddaughter goes to a Catholic school and cursive is taught. Her younger sister goes to a public school–long story there–and she is not learning cursive. I was a very unhappy grandparent when I learned this. Luckily, her parents, her grands and her sister have helped fill in that gap and the younger one does know how to write in cursive and read it.

I find it interesting when I use my phone to find out how long it will take to go 20 miles to visit family..
My car is always always the quickest.
Bicycles come in second.
20 miles one way , then I have to ride home.

President Biden’s Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, is the latest Democrat to suggest the solution to high gas prices is to buy an electric vehicle, which costs at least $60,000.
In a clip tweeted by the Republican National Committee Tuesday, Granholm made a case for going electric to combat surging gas prices.
Democrats created the crisis to then bring in their plan as a solution.
It’s the same scenario over and over again.

“If you filled up your EV [electric vehicle] and you filled up your gas tank with gasoline, you would save $60 per fill-up by going electric rather than using gasoline… it’s a very compelling case, but again, we want to bring down the price at the point of purchase,” Granholm said.
The comments by Granholm follow the record-setting surge in gas prices, which have now pushed over $5 per gallon.
According to Fox News, Granholm made similar points in a White House press briefing in May 2021.
“If you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you,” she said during the briefing.
Granholm is worth roughly $8 million, according to Forbes. She recently served as the director of an electric car company called Proterra.
In May, she exercised stock options in the company, pocketing about $1.6 million from the transaction, according to an energy department spokesperson.
According to Kelley Blue Book, the average cost of an electric vehicle is $56,437, which is approximately $10,000 higher than the industry average, including electric and gas cars.

Of course, that cost does not factor in the electrical work needed for a charging station, the cost of electricity, and the batteries which must be changed after several years. Heck, it’s only 20 grand or so. Plus, disposal of those toxic batteries, is a little problematic. I have read that just ONE of those batteries in a public water supply renders it undrinkable for a century. What could go wrong?
And, the millions of people that will be laid off by the car manufacturers to include those manufacturers who make parts for the vehicles. This will, of course, put millions of people on welfare and reduce the GDP.

I have seen multiple posts elsewhere of people complaining about being banned off Truth Social.
From what I can tell, the pattern is the same as used by Google/Twitter. They blame faceless algorithms and don’t cite the specific post and the specific violation in the post.
Plus, the posts that get banned have a consistency in political opinion.
Truth Social needs to fix this asap or they will become just “GOP Twitter” as if it were run by the RNC and Mitch McConnell.
