Local journalists were able to view CCTV video from inside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, showing heavily armed police were in the building with at least one ballistic shield only 19 minutes after the school shooter entered the building.
In a very disturbing update to the story. KVUE has outlined a new timeline with the details from the CCTV system, showing the police had all the resources they needed to deal with the shooter, yet they stood down for an additional 58 minutes and waited. UVALDE, Texas — On Monday, KVUE and its news partners at the Austin American-Statesman exclusively obtained surveillance footage from inside Robb Elementary School on the day of the May 24 shooting.
The footage shows that multiple officers were inside the building with rifles and at least one ballistic shield, 19 minutes after the gunman arrived. They didn’t enter the classroom the shooter was inside for nearly another hour. (read more)

Everything about this failure to act by law enforcement is very disturbing.

If you recall, the Parkland shooting, the local police waited outside behind their vehicles. The school officer ran outside. Coral Gables police arrived to assist and asked why they were sitting outside. They led the way into the school.

Privacy restrictions…allegedly to protect citizens really turns out to be a government license to hide the entirety of their work from public scrutiny.
In practice, we see public disclosures that are delayed endlessly which allows retroactive tampering of evidence, and strategic manipulation of public opinion through deliberate, targeted leaks of information that damage political enemies.

This kind of news is typical of the utter irresponsibility of American “news” channels. Been doing it forever. They enable terrorists and directly support the terrorist’s cause by giving them more airtime than any other feature. This is freedom of the press at work, doing the greatest harm possible. Aside: Where I live, a Democrat Fascist shithole in Maryland, I would have to pay a $200 fee to get permission to have my alarm systems connected to the cops. My alarms will go off, but I unplugged the phone line. If I had a false alarm, I’d be fined that much again, and more. If I’m home and awakened, I can handle an intruder. But if I were away, what would happen? I have timed the response to alarms. It takes them at least 20 minutes to respond, every time. I assume any semi-intelligent robber would welcome the alarm system, because once it goes off, he knows he has at least 15 totally undisturbed minutes to clean out the house…and it only takes a pro about 10 minutes. The same information is available now to all would-be murderers of children. Well Done KVUE. Ignorant fools.

Columbine was the catalyst for these situations. Marjory Stoneman Douglas would have been the first implementation but failed because the cop was a CHICKENSHIT MUTHERFKKKER and now we have Uvalde, where it is evident the cops are nothing more that what I just said, CHICKENSHIT MOTHERFKKKERS.
Those who ordered that the police stand down as well as the officers who obeyed the stand down orders need to be punished for their cowardice and dereliction of duty.

I’m simply amazed that many of these local LEOs remain employed. As for release of the footage, this is sensitive material as to the privacy of the children, and the graphic nature of the footage. Just because it’s a public school does not automatically follow the video is public, any more than the children’s names and grade and health records are… not.
It may not be a crime to be a coward, but it is not a resume enhancer. It certainly should be grounds for dismissal. The reason for dismissal. . . tragically poor judgement, leading to multiple deaths of those begging your help.
