Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

✝️ DAILY DEVOTIONAL, June 20, 2022
Good morning, Dan. Is this Spurgeon’s most reassuring and hopeful devotional? It very well may be exactly that. And a very beautiful one for this Monday. Thank you.
Almighty and everlasting. God, in whom we live and move and have our being; We, thy needy creatures, render thee our humble praises, for thy preservation of us from the beginning of our lives to this day, and especially for having delivered us from the dangers of this past night. For these thy mercies, we bless and magnify thy glorious Name; humbly beseeching thee to accept this our morning sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving; for his sake who lay down in the grave, and rose again for us, thy Son and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
~~Book of Common Prayer~~
Good morning to all and may everyone feel His presence today, and may He sustain your spirits, giving each His peace which passeth all understanding.🙏💖
Good morning Betsy. Very nice prayer. Thanks for sharing and Amen. Blessings to you and yours. Have a beautiful day. Cheers!
Good morning, Levi.💖 I hope you have a good one as well.😊
Good morning, Levi. Thank you for your prayers for my son with this awful wuhan illness. My heart is happy this morning because he is doing better. Get tired easy, but sounded better when I talked to him. God does answer prayers and He sure was there for me.
Reading your post always makes my day brighter and having you and some of the other treepers there when I needed them makes my heart swell with happiness.
Thank you again and God bless you. Big hugs and large happy heart.
Good morning Marti. So happy to hear this news. I learned to pray for others after I learned how many were praying for me during my cancer. It is the least we can do for others and yet it is so powerful. Blessings to you and yours and have a wonderful day. Cheers!
Good morning Levi! Blessings to you this morning!
Good morning Gramps. I trust you and Saint Victor had a peaceful night of rest.
Blessings for a beautiful and bountiful day. Cheers!
Very peaceful thank you! I’m out on a ranch in the boonies so it’s very unlikely someone will trespass the. Walk 1/3 mile uphill to the house but if they did they’ll find out what a triple tap is all about.
Good morning, Betsy. It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Pa. The birds are singing and the humming bird is outside my window having breakfast. Then he sits on the wire coat hanger I have there for him and just looks around before going back to the feeder for more.
I want to thank you for your prayers for my son and for the information on treatment for his wuhan illness. He is doing much better, still gets pretty tired but is able to function better.
God bless you for being there when I need help. Big hugs and large heart.
Good morning Marti, that’s great news. Praise the Lord and continuing prayers!
Good afternoon Grandpa, Thank you so much for your prayers for my son and his wife. He is doing better – over 3 weeks with this wuhan stuff. He gets tired quickly and like all mothers, I told him to take it easy and not overdue it. His wife did not get it as bad so she was able to help take care of him. They live three and a half hours from me so I could not do much but pray and ask for help from my fellow treepers. I am so thankful for this site.
I will be down close to Tractor Supply tomorrow and I plan to pick up some ivermectin paste. We do have the liquid on hand but I would like to have a tube of the paste here. I just found out that one of my customers took the paste when he was down with the virus. He took a dose according to his weight and 3 cays later took a second dose, he said the first one wasn’t enough. Two days after the 2nd dose he was much better. I was glad to hear this.
God bless you and have fun out in the boonies! Since I live in the boonies I think there is no place like it. Love living back in the woods. hugs to you and a large smiley face.
Good morning, Marti!💖 What better Monday morning news!! Deo gratias🙏 I can feel your relief🤗 Like any illness, it takes time to recover to full strength of course, and this one is a nasty virus. But that he is on the road to becoming himself again, makes my heart sing with yours. I am truly so so glad for him and for you🙏🌷
(FWIW…I started my husband on daily NAC and glutathione to help recovery from the spike protein this virus seems to leave behind. And with each day he seems to gain more stamina. My confidence in supplements started with the advent of the bioweapon Covid and continues to this day💖)
I do believe in supplements. I wish there was more of them that I could take. I would like to try the one ms Idaho suggested but am afraid to try it. I am very sensitive to anything – severe headaches, hives. Very discouraging. I am very glad that you and your husband can take them. God bless you both. You brighten my day. hugs and hearts
It was just a matter of reading and learning for me, Marti. But I understand how you might be cautious. There are sites which explain various supplements, along with side effects , who should and should not take a particular one. Nothing we take is at different from wed get in our foods, but for ages it has been shown that we do not get enough. So nothing out of the ordinary. Just ones like D and Magnesium, for example.
At any rate, we are all built differently and must do what we know is vest for us. I’m so glad your son is doing better…so relieved. Here’s praying his recovery will be quick and uneventful.🙏🤗
I found the following quote by Spurgeon attached to a particular passage I was studying. I do not include the passage as the quote can be applied to almost any chapter in scripture.
“Try and suck all the sweetness that you can out of this chapter while we read it. The personal application of a promise to the heart by the Holy Spirit is that which is wanted. The honey in Jonathan’s wood never enlightened his eyes until he dipped the point of his rod into it and tasted it. Try and do the same. This chapter is the wood wherein every bough doth drip with virgin honey. Sip: taste, and be satisfied.” (Charles Spurgeon)
Good morning, Vibeman. I don’t know what it is about Dr Spurgeon’s devotionals. I love the addendum of his which you posted. He simply has a way with words which I’ve seen no other use. Such uplifting language for uplifting spirits. As he describes reading whatever chapter he is referring to, so do I feel about reading anything he offers.
Good morning Bet, truly tasting that honey this morning. ❤️
Good morning, G💖 I’ll say!!! I just love the way he phrased it.
Waiting for the heat dome to kick in. In the meantime, a cup of tea and Tosca will keep us happily inside. No more evil menacing villain than Baron Scarpia (his “Te Deum” is chilling).
Hoping all good things are coming to you and your family’s way this week, especially for Nipper🤗🌷🙏
TY Bet, back at you 😍. Heading back to San Antonio today for another vein procedure in the morning 😄
May it go like all the others. I’d be surprised if they haven’t got a wing of the office/hospital named after you by now!😉😘
My bride is coming with me but since hers are just spider veins she gets the nurse and I get the doctor. LOL! He’s done a great job, though.
A family outing!! Not the kind I know you two would want. Still nice to have one another for support. Blessings to both of you, my friend😁🙏
Praying that both your procedures go well.
Thank you, Marti! We just got back to the house from a date to one of the Brazilian Steakhouses. Haven’t had a date with my bride in a long time.
Feeling very stuffed. Will try to watch 2000 mules if I’m not too tired 🙂.
I remember after having the wuflu it took me a while to get my stamina back.
Not sure what chapter was referenced, but the example used comes from 1 Samuel 14.
And it is not clear if the story is a good thing or a bad thing. Eating was a violation of an oath Saul had forced onto the army. But Jonathan was busy actually winning the fight and did not know about the command or oath. Saul almost had to kill his son over that honey.
There is something like the second sentence near the end of the first chapter of 2 Corinthians. But there, Paul says God put the Spirit in our hearts, which is different than a promise to the heart by the spirit.
There are many similarish passages. Romans 5:5 Paul says the love of God is shared in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
So, ‘sip, taste, and be satisfied’ but first check if your stupid earthly father and king hasn’t sworn some silly oath.
.
.
.
Yes! And things have gone pretty well for this trucker today!
A devotion for today
Good lesson for today, Home. So much applies to today. I think the key words for Christians are ” Be Ye Also Ready “.
The wicked will morn, but the Christians will rejoice!! Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus!!
🙌🙌🙌
Amen, amen, AMEN!!!!!!
I was just 20 when I experienced these exact emotions. I’d loved her at 15, loved her at 16, at 17 . . . then we moved away to Texas. We stayed in touch but it was clear that she’d moved on and found someone else. I was bereft, of course. My love for her was so deep, so complete, that I believed if I could just reach her I could somehow convince her that we belonged together . . . So, I made a road trip to my previous home.
The weekend was pretty enjoyable. My friends, college students or working just like me, had moved on from being 17 or 18. For her part in my visit, looking back, I can only say how much I appreciated her kindness. While she made it clear that my love for her was not going to be returned, that she’d found her real true love . . . she did so in the kindest way possible.
Driving back to Texas, I considered it all . . . and realized that I also needed to move on. So, I did. And about a year later flying kites off the seawall, the love of my life appeared. Real love is predicated on two major factors: trust and loyalty. Without them relationships can’t last. Because we’ve had this, we’ve enjoyed 54 years of marriage.
Everytime I listen to “Send In The Clowns” I think about my naive, yet, transformation love experience. I think about her kindness towards me—at such a young age—so many years ago and how healing it was.
It is experiences like this that truly shape our lives.
One more . . .
I Always Enjoy Your Love Stories , Garrison 😊
And Your Music Choices !
Thank You 💐
Happily, we didn’t have to die from this although, at the time, we might have thought we might have to . . . 🙂
When it happened to me
*I found it hard to breathe* 😊 .. I Know Exactly What You Mean , Garrison , and for You and Your Beloved Wife , a Lifelong Journey !
Blessings 🙏
🙂
Good morning, Garrison💖 Young love. We’ve all experienced it. And I suspect we’ve all lost it at least once in our lives. And of course there are songs that remind us of those times that we can ever forget. Yours is such a poignant, beautiful telling of your first one. Thank you for sharing your reminiscences🤗.
Hi, Bet. It was Sondheim’s genius that allowed him to so perfectly describe those ‘betwext and between’ feelings in his music. Those kinds of events are how we become adults, of course. Psychologists call them “Peak Experiences”. I had a nice long drive home with plenty of time to think. By the time I got back, I was a very different person.
I know what you mean. A long drive home can work wonders, especially if the right music is playing I find. There have been occasions on such drives for me that I arrive home not recollecting passing familiar landmarks, such has been my inexcusable absorption in that thinking. Very therapeutic…definitely!!🤗🌷
Burnadette Peters was some of Alberto Vargas art, she was “the cars candy-o” cover art. Love Vargas art.
🙂 Definitely Vargas!
Your words reminded me of the greatest love of my life, lost love in another country in another time, and the song that epitomized my feelings.
🙂 Great song!

Substitution just for the heck of it:
Good morning Magic! Thanks for this one. Big fan here. I find their work to be more complex than meets the eye, often with a touch of a dark side (momma, domino, etc). This is certainly one of those and, in concert, it comes across much more clearly.
Seeing the pictures of the houses on the sea reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend that has a cabin on the river. The maintenance of the cabin is a constant battle as the rise and fall of the river presents special difficulties. He said something profound in that conversation. When your battle is with God’s created river, eventually the river always wins.
Yes, I love seeing all the houses on the water.
Time and nature always wins eventually perhaps just a little slower but can be instantly most places.
Moms house (where I grew up) which she was inside of at the time missed being destroyed or severely damaged by about 20 feet. House 15ft to the west of her was heavily damaged as well as the former mayors house across the street to the north, she had some minor damage in that some shingles fly off that the oldest brother fixed.
It is still weird when I go back, there are no treetops in about a 100 yard wide scar going thru the entire town and both cemeteries SW to NE just like it was tracking from one to the other.
It did miss the trailer parks tho, so there’s that.
I currently live in front of a old volcano that reminds me of Mt St Helens after it blew, only with several thousand years or so of wear and the blown out side is pointing right at me / the town.
If any earthquakes start here….. I am definitely moving and quickly to elsewhere as we are about as close to it as Johnson ridge was to Mt St Helens.

Have You Come to “When” Yet?
The Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. —Job 42:10
A pitiful, sickly, and self-centered kind of prayer and a determined effort and selfish desire to be right with God are never found in the New Testament. The fact that I am trying to be right with God is actually a sign that I am rebelling against the atonement by the Cross of Christ. I pray, “Lord, I will purify my heart if You will answer my prayer— I will walk rightly before You if You will help me.” But I cannot make myself right with God; I cannot make my life perfect. I can only be right with God if I accept the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ as an absolute gift. Am I humble enough to accept it? I have to surrender all my rights and demands, and cease from every self-effort. I must leave myself completely alone in His hands, and then I can begin to pour my life out in the priestly work of intercession. There is a great deal of prayer that comes from actual disbelief in the atonement. Jesus is not just beginning to save us— He has already saved us completely. It is an accomplished fact, and it is an insult to Him for us to ask Him to do what He has already done.
If you are not now receiving the “hundredfold” which Jesus promised (see Matthew 19:29), and not getting insight into God’s Word, then start praying for your friends— enter into the ministry of the inner life. “The Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends.” As a saved soul, the real business of your life is intercessory prayer. Whatever circumstances God may place you in, always pray immediately that His atonement may be recognized and as fully understood in the lives of others as it has been in yours. Pray for your friends now, and pray for those with whom you come in contact now.
WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
When a man’s heart is right with God the mysterious utterances of the Bible are spirit and life to him. Spiritual truth is discernible only to a pure heart, not to a keen intellect. It is not a question of profundity of intellect, but of purity of heart.
Morning!
Imagining just now how easily prayer for others would truly flow should I just start, more often, and always.
Thank you, Feral.
Good morning FC. Pray for others indeed. The start of each day is an exercise in prayer for others, those who have reason to quit but carry on anyway. Those are my people. Thanks for the reinforcement. Beautiful words.
Have a blessed day. Cheers!
Good morning, Cat💖 I know I’ve posted this one of Lewis’s before but it is so appropriate for these Chambers’ words…
“I think that if God forgives us we must forgive ourselves. Otherwise, it is almost like setting up ourselves as a higher tribunal than Him.”
And this is true, I think. Although it is a most difficult thing to accomplish. I hope your week (sans Monday of course😉) is full of blessings (hugs and all fingers crossed).
Ever hear that “and when you pray believe that you receive and you shall have it.” ? Goes right there!
When you ask you ask knowing it is already yours its God who guides you into receiving it or fulfilling what is yours. Do you get that in church service or confessional? No, its that still small voice saying yes.
Yes…I find that still small voice most audible in my conversations with God sans outward distractions,in the silence, in the quiet, in solitude.
Good morning Cat ❤️!
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
that is precious
Good morning, ms Idaho. The flower and the grass may fade and wither…but only for a short while….because Spring and heaven bring new life. I never welcome a Spring that I don’t think of that. (hugs plus🌷)
Sage words, Betsy.
It is precisely for that reason that Spring is my most favored of seasons.
Vive le printemps!
Mine as well, GB. With autumn a very close second, though I have not analyzed exactly why. I think it’s because it heralds the time of hearth and home…and the glories of Christmas, which I’ve always loved. Blessings to you, sir.
Same here! (Fall being 2nd favorite)
i like the bold fall colors of the flora (especially that which is native to my region) over the still-very green grass under the crisp, and often clear Deep blue sky. And the crispness of the cooler fall air is always a refreshing change from mid Atlantic summer heat and humidity.
I used to love the smell of burning leaves in late October as folks would rake them into piles in the street next to the curb and light them up. But the gubmint outlawed that decades ago.
Morning ms idaho, blessings and hugs to you and Doc.
Good afternoon, ms. Thank you for your prayers for my son and the info on the med. I sent it to him and kept it for myself too. I would like to try that but am not sure if my system would tolerate it. Being very sensitive to med and supplements I get severe headaches and hives very easy.
God bless you and Doc. hearts and hugs
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.”
Psalms 150:1 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
Good morning everyone. Prayers for the growing mass of Americans who face government imposed financial hardship. May the good Lord help others to blaze a path to the doors of the neediest and deliver the necessities these people need to get through each day.
And to all of us blessed enough to absorb the present, continued strength of spirit, mind and a wise gentle heart.
It seems as if each passing day brings us more reason than ever before to be grateful for the blessings of our comfortable lives.
God bless everyone. Keep the faith.
Top o’ the Mornin’ to ya Levi! 🙂 I hope your all over the flu,and GranpaM’S pallet is better and Marti’s kids are recovering.Thank you Bet for your comments on the Neil Oliver thread yesterday regarding Bergoglio. As a former practicing Catholic for over 50 years,it was greatly appreciated.I haven’t heard an update on Sundance’s condition…praying for his recovery as well.
Been crazy in the coal mines as of late…muchas hours.Gotta go…they’re yelling for the head canary already.Have a great week amigos and let the sunshine in… Blessings! 🙂
Good morning Casco. Be safe. Be blessed. Cheers!
Good morning, Casco. The sunshine is shinning bright today. A great day to be alive and here with fellow treepers. My son is doing better. It is over 3 weeks now and I am very glad he is improving. He still gets pretty tired but he is getting better. I want to thank everyone for their prayers for him and his wife (she only had a mild case). God answered our prayers. Everyone here is very supportive, It is a great place to come for prayer and fellowship.
God bless you. hugs and large smile
Good morning Casco, almost back to normal.
Blessings
How wonderful and what a surprise to see you, Casco.💓 I gather that with the fast pace of his threads he is feeling better. I pray so.
I hope you were able to read Vigano’s words which were on Gateway Pundit, but are also, I’m sure on Lifesite News, which is lovely site. He just has a way of speaking that I find so comforting, even when he is explaining the perilous times we are in. He misses nothing and is not afraid to speak plainly.
What on earth would your company do with you? You really are worth your salt, methinks. Stay well,my friend, and may His blessing cover you and all whom you love.😘🌷B
The fear of others lays a snare, but one who trusts in the Lord is secure.

Good morning, Treepers
Glory to God for all things.
I would like to ask advice for a basic cell phone. Mine is being taken off-line, as it is 3G (iphone 5s)(verizon service). It already won’t work in Dallas, although it works in the hinterlands. Supposedly I have until December 2022. All it needs to do is take/make phone calls and text (as everyone else seems to be hooked on texting). No apps. Prefer non-android and non-Iphone. don’t want 5G technology. What are my choices these days?
Thank you all in advance for your wonderful knowledge and ideas.
Blessings
Just asked my hubby who is more knowledgeable than I would be in my dreams.
Check out Nokia, apparently free with Verizon, flip phone, 4G, all the essentials with a few extras. So their ad says. More than affordable.
Hope that gets the ball rolling.💖
Thank you, Bet! (and hubby)
I know it’s not much, but I guess there has to be a starting point😉. You are most welcome🌷
If you want protection from spying and monitoring, this is one such brand. They are neither iOS (Apple) nor Android (Samsung et al) nor any system that Big Tech/Govt is using to spy on everyone..

Here is another very secure cellphone using a proprietary OS:

Fellow Treepers. I MUST share this remarkable beautiful essay by Gerard Vanderleun on his site AMERICAN DIGEST yesterday if anyone cares to search for it.
FIRST JOB IN PARADISE: THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO LIVED BY A BROOK
He grew up and lived in Paradise, California and this was written in 2017. The whole town was burned completely, and he lost everything as did so many others. This is the beautiful opening to this piece. I hope it will entice you to search for it…
“When the fog forms in Paradise all my ghosts come out, moving like wraiths behind the mist, believing no one can see them. But I do. Everywhere in this small town in Northern California in which I was a young boy and to which I have returned as an old man, I often sense that boy and long ago moments.”
This is marvelous and perfect for a Monday.
Blessings to all….💖
Oh…and the comments after are just wonderful!
It was so good that I browsed to two other brief writings on his website.
This one is excellent as well.

I’m so glad you liked it, GB.
It was for me a truly remarkable piece for so many reasons, and went straight to my heart.
AND I am so glad you found the Sharp Man, which was perfect for Father’s Day. Thank you for posting the link, which I had a hankering to read again. Gerard is truly one of the most gifted writers there is.
His remarkable mother lived to 104, and was quite the character. Very active and social until her death.
I was sad for him when that happened…his stories of her can be found in the archives, as well years of his previous writings. A good way to spend a quiet afternoon.
Thank you, Betsy, for introducing me to GV. I was not familiar with his work. This story is wonderful. Look forward to reading more.
Cheers
I am so pleased, Lonestar, that you read it. I get very enthused when I find something that miraculous, almost desperate to share it. And this one was absolute perfection.
In fact, I sent it immediately to my three grands to read because it had two of life’s wonderful lessons in it. It moved me as no other recent article I’ve read has. Something to be read again and again I think. I have it permanently bookmarked.
Murphy’s Laws Murphy was an optimist
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
Gumperson’s Law: And it will go wrong at the worst possible moment in time.
This was rule #1 in my ‘teaching someone to fly’ handbook – especially Gumperson’s law…
Have you seen the utter chaos reported in the Daily Mail, both UK and US editions of flights cancelled, here and there?
In the UK at Heathrow for example, luggage piling up, much of it in different terminals. So arrive at point A, your luggage goes to the mountain of luggage collected at point B.
Ten days forecast before people will at their bags. Flights worldwide in the thousands cancelled.
Why anyone would travel today is a mystery to me.
Not a reader of the Daily Mail. Saw headlines and refused to click the link
Demand that pilots and crew get vaxxerd. Pilots and crew get sick, die or quit (to save their lives)
Now everyone seems surprised at flight cancellations
You might have some unreported air traffic control glitches as well.
how about airport support – refueling, maintenance of things like lighting, terminal support – just opining here.
I am always suspicions re: what is NOT reported or is MIS reported.
Yes – lets blame it on the pilots (again)
Those pilots are fighting back now…and yes, of course they are blamed.
I read the headlines ONLY (!!!) in that disreputable rag, But I do it because it keeps me (sort of) up on the goings on there, Britain having been my home for so long. Their seedier articles I scroll right by. And, by the way…the grammar in the headlines is simply appalling. Used to read The Telegraph exclusively, but they are behind a pay wall now, and they’ve hired teenagers it seems to write their ridiculously ignorant articles, so no loss. When Lord Black was in charge and when people like Mark Steyn were the columnists, it was quite the read. Alas, no more.
The only thing the Mail is good for is to check on first if there are sudden developments here which need to be reported. They are first rate in that respect. Otherwise? Pfffft…
Bet, sometimes you just have to. I’m taking my mom back to the old country for 2 weeks in August. No restrictions for entry there, and so far no test necessary for the transit through CDG in France. Hopefully TPTB don’t release the “new epidemic” until we get back.
I’d forgotten that, G, and I truly truly pray for the best. My daughter has to fly to that druggie cesspit Seattle in a week. I guess the key is to expect the worst and then you’ll be pleasantly surprised when it doesn’t happen.
I’ve flown so many times internationally, one from the UK, getting off for about an hour, then back on and back to the UK, the quickest turnaround in history I’ll bet.
In any event, it is to be prayed for that every step of a journey I know you must take is as smooth and incident free as it can possibly be….which is exactly what I’m going to pray for for you and your mother.🙏😘
Thank you, Bet! ❤️
Always, G, my dear friend.🤗🙏

The pessimist: It can’t get any worse.
The optimist: It can, it can.
nailed it.
hope you can get back home from your August trip
Me too ms idaho 😁. Let’s see what happens with Kaliningrad aka Konigsberg. If the globos manage to start the next World War I won’t be going.
Does your trip hinge on that particular area and its current upheaval?? Oh my goodness. Yes, you must be circumspect and wise when the time comes. Everything is very much a day to day over there I know.🙏
Hahahahahaha..LOL!!
Amen
Amen
Amen.
Amen.
Amen!
Amen.
Amen.
Conspiracy reality, still praying for you.
I don’t know if you will see this SC,as it is so late (I work long days),but I haven’t noticed him posting either, after his last post which wasn’t good.I hope that he’s ok also.
As I commented before, you are a kind soul and the world would be better off with more Slowcobras in it.Be blessed my friend. 🙂
Hi CBB, I saw your post this morning, as I come back to check, hoping CR might’ve been able to reply. (I do not get notices when there’s a reply)
Thank you for your kind words, and I’m glad you are thinking of CR as well.
I haven’t been getting the emails I used to get when I check off that green button (bell) to get notified of replies – don’t even get an email asking me to confirm it.
Am I doing something wrong?
I can’t call the kids or grand kids for help – they’re either Dems or Bleeding Heart Liberals.
Can’t help you with the tech stuff H&HC,but I certainly can pray that your family will someday see the light.”All good things in all good times”.Best wishes for you amigo. 🙂
thanx!
