After they get the raw data, they could use that to get a warrant. GROWTH of their power, and 2), the increased wealth and prestige of themselves, their descendants, and their most dependable allies. Aristocracy is the eternal threat. The only effective barrier is the maximum practical dispersal of power, including any power over other people’s money. Our Framers tried, but we will need to have not only tighter restrictions and a perpetual diet forced on government. But will need to exercise forever the duty we the people were entrusted with: Eternal Vigilance.
