Well, yes! They have most of the population in those worthless paper masks, so why not? I could easily see that.
Areas of Chicago are spotted with ‘bike lanes’ on the road ways. Let me tell you, those cyclists induce heart attacks, they are very aggressive in their attitude of “owning the road”.
I have never come across a bicyclist, even on the multi-use trails where I walked and in-line skated for years, that did not aggressively challenge any and all for the whole trail.
Then Alligator, you are lucky indeed!
I have had several near misses on the roadways of Chicago, both downtown and in the residential neighborhoods. The neighborhood roads are the most concerning for me, as a driver, when I see a cyclist. I have had more than a few suddenly veer out of ‘their’ bike lane, in front of me.
I will leave the pedestrians who do not use crosswalks, for another day!
In winter, the black coats and or hoodies also make pedestrians very hard to see if on streets with minimal street lights, especially if walking across a street without using the crosswalk, (crosswalks are better illuminated).
Parks and those trails are no problem. Its the bike lanes on heavily traveled roads, that cause me to have palpitations and an Adrenalin release!
Is good for the insurance industry though.
I have a sincere distrust for most bicyclists based solely upon their road-hog conduct. “Entitled” comes to mind.

Bicyclists are supposed to ride the shoulder, I have had 3 riding abreast and not giving way like they owned the road. Entitled liberals with their bicycle wear and helmets
This is why we need to rig our cars with an oil sprayer on our hot exhausts. Give them a white smoke cloud to let them know that they must share the road.
Trails are easier. if you are walking the trail and an obnoxious cyclist demands you make way, a few small caltrops will make short work of the tires.

A length of chain does the same. Unloop it when they obnoxiously come too close and start some shizz. It’s a nice way of saying, “Back off or this goes in your spokes, smart aleck.”
There’s a local canopy road (two lanes bordered closely by old oak trees that have spread over the road forming a “canopy”) with many curves in it. It’s a back road to and from my vet. I can guarantee you that I have more than once come around one of these curves doing the limit towing two Andalusian horses worth at least $50k each and nearly wiped out one of the Tallahassee biking clubs who are spread over the entire lane multiple deep just cruising along. When there is another vehicle approaching, I have to nosedive, risking my horses to avoid ramming irresponsible bike riders.
I have bitterly complained to my legislative delegation that vehicles that cannot go the posted speed limit should not be permitted to be used on the road. It’s for their safety and ours.
So far all I get is “They are doing their part to reduce carbon!” and “They have as much of a right as you do.” Oh, yeah? My retort has gone unanswered so far. “If the bicyclist has as much right as I to go on the paved roads in this state, where is their tag, tax, title, and insurance?”
My question is why do they have to ride on a highway when the state has spent all that money to put in paved bike trails? Why are they allowed on the highway without having paid for any of it with their bikes?….no license fee, no tag renewal fees, nothing.
If they get hit and killed, they definitely *have* done their part to reduce “carbon”.

They are the most entitled, arrogant people. They have no problem blocking major secondary roads during rush hour. Imagine what a jerk you have to be to go like 20 miles and hour – at best – down a 45/50 mile per hour road with an endless line of cars stuck behind you trying to get to work/school.

Re: Waukegan coal ash. I always thought that the practice adding fly ash from coal-burning plants to concrete was a win-win for the environment. So why are they stuck with a big pile of ash with no place to get rid of it? Then I found this factoid:

Can confirm. Am co-owner of a patent to solidify nuclear waste using fly ash, to make concrete. It doesn’t work, and believe me, we tried. (some patent, huh?) They are screwing with more than just coal plants.

January 6 was an exception, but the reason for January 6 , stolen and corrupt 2020 election, is only being fought by a few warriors in the field, 2000MULES, some state officials, etc. Republicans generally seem to have no stomach for the battle.
Because most conservatives believe everyone should be able to live their own life, as well as they can. And the best way to do that is to have a strong stable economy, secure borders, and true representation by our government, FOR the people.
We believe in earning our way – educationally, professionally, socially. We believe in meritocracy. We believe in strong national support, and also indivuality.
The lunatic left are the antithesis of us. They’re rabid psychopaths, like a zombie herd, whose only thought is to destroy, not realizing they’re destruction affects them just as much as those they hate, us.

Is this true though? Trump Truthed that he offered up 20,000 National guard troops. I am having a hard time finding where 20,000 national guards troops were “activated” and it seems that this is false. I believe from what I’m reading and congressional testimony that Trump in conversations said to deploy the national guard but his team never made an official offer. Seems like his team ignored his request or they did offer to Pelosi and Bowser and they ignored but I can’t find definitive proof either way.
My personal opinion is they were all in on it and it was a trap so they can try and impeach…that didn’t work but this show trial is the next best thing…political weaponization of jan 6 until 2024 election.
I may be completely wrong but my understanding is that Trump in his position as president offered the troops but never activated the troops. Pelosi did not have any authority to say yes or no to the troops since she is not in the chain of command. They could have been positioned anywhere on the public property of D.C. if Trump had activated them instead of offering to activate. If they were there and Pelosi refused to allow them into the capital building at the first signs of trouble then that would be another issue.

Lesson: do not temper your language in the attempt to not offend the frail ignorami by using euphemisms.

Do you recall how Jeh Johnson made Elections part of our Federal Critical Infrastructure after 2016 election? I thought it was so strange at the time, but it was the first thing that alerted me to true foul play in the PDJT election. I assumed it was to put the Feds and States on equal playing field for Election investigations. I know think it is a lot more.
Patriot act allows DHS to access the intel database and network Obama created as he completed the Bush Family surveillance state. If you are put on this watch list there goes your due process constitutional rights. Still not sure their original strategy for the use of this designation with our elections, but theoretically they can accumulate FISA level data on you by suspecting you of election interference.

But there is more to this story. Wisconsin State Representative Tim Ramthun put together an excellent inventory of events that occurred leading up to the 2020 Election in his state. Included are shocking revelations about Wisconsin’s ‘Republican’ Speaker of the House, Robin Voss.
In his report, Ramthun says:
“Upon a more extensive review of the case, it was discovered that the drop box effort was organized by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). CISA was present at Senator Brenier’s press conference alongside the Center for Elections Innovation and Research (CEIR).”
“CISA worked in conjunction with other national organizations like the CTCL and CEIR, but the most concerning of note is the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), which promoted CISA’s campaign of illegal drop boxes on October 2nd, 2020. NCSL’s president at the time was the Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly Robin Vos, who later appointed a special counsel investigation into the 2020 election under a contract that states the findings may only be reported to himself.”
