Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Memories ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Good Morning Leon!!! ❤️
We know who these two are (winky smile)
😂 ya think so?
Good Morning parichute! ❤️
Good Morning ‘kitty and doggie’ – such a sweeet kiss. And yes, I’m sure of it (hearts)
Tuba Skinny has survived the covid pandemic! This may seem like a small thing but it really isn’t. When we think about Tuba Skinny we ought to also think about what makes America . . . America. Tuba Skinnny has become a New Orleans institution. Yes, their “buskers” . . . people who basically play for spare change on the street. But they are also an authentic expression of New Orleans music. What they are doing reaches back over the decades—over the centuries—to an earlier time. Tuba Skinny is a direct connection to our cultural past, to our cultural present. Long may you wave Tuba Skinny!!!!
One more . . .
Went to Mardi Gras in 197o with some friends. The only live music I heard was wonderful and talented black men preceding funerals. Most played horn instruments. Mostly jazz and no singers. Impressive. White jazz bands were not around much in those days that I personally saw. Hope this doesn’t suggest my age.
🙂
Good Morning Garrison!
What a way to start the day!!!! Happy music! Happy news of skinny’s survival! And a brand new day!!!!!! 💋
Hiya, Cat! This is a good way to start one’s day, isn’t it? 🙂
Foot tapping good! (coins in the bucket)
Good morning, parichute💓 Try as I might, I can’t find that emoji😉 Good one and so appropriate.
Good Morning Betsy (brief but heartfelt hug) – I’m getting used to the idea that my text emojis allow the reader to conjure up their own images of what they mean – I’m likin’ it, like you. Vast. My prayers and thoughts are with Frank Fields (sic?) and his family, grandson surgery upcoming and others we’re missing this week. Protect them all Lamb of God! (the brightest light we can imagine)
Yes!! That’s is exactly it! I couldn’t put my finger on why I like your word emojis. The imagination is a wonderful thing. Perfect💓
And like you, I think of our our absent Treehouse friends and their various real concerns all the time. I know God is doing better things for them and those they themselves may be worried about than we could hope and pray for. Nevertheless like you and all here in our church, we offer our prayers for each one. Blessings to you, my friend.
Oh, and this, P… If you are so inclined, after my exuberant fan girl discussion of Thomas Quasthoff, late on yesterday’s OT, Cat, generous soul that she is, posted his performance of Papageno’s Aria from the Marriage of Figaro. You’ll see my over the top response to her when she did, by I was so glad she posted.
I’d highly recommend seeing it (it’s quite short) to understand why I enthuse so. Remarkable. (loud applause and bravos)
So funny B – enthusiasm coming on so boisterously is the leavening to the sadness that comes on just as quickly. It is, in of itself, a blessing. I’m going over to listen – I thought his voice was remarkable from the one piece I listened to.
So glad you liked it… a one of a kind absolutely😘 And I feel considering, a true gift of God’s grace.
Well I was a little tired but cranked up the Skinny while making dinner and now I feel much better, 🙂 🙂 😉
Jolly good, jay💓
This is an old Cursday favorate of mine. I’ve posteed this probably too many times but the story is just so engaging . . . It reminds me of a moment in my very early life. My father had trained his bird dog, Prince, to be champion hunter. I was just a child and Prince was my buddy. On a winter day I crawled into Prince’s dog house and curled up with him to stay warm. My mom went nuts trying to find me . . . But Prince didn’t mind at all. Sadly, Prince began killing chckens in a neighbor’s yard. In rural Oklahoma that was not allowed. My dad took Prince to a breeder so he could be sold. It was the first time I ever saw my father cry. I was to young too understand, but I never forget the intensity of the emotion. I remember that time still. This video always reminds me of that kind of deep affection.
A lovely memory with a bittersweet ending and there were no ‘rescues’ then. Those emotions run deep. I know that situation hurt, deeply as a child and I am so sorry. IMHO, there is nothing more precious (except your kids and grandkids etc), than to have the love and trust of a dog. Dogs and kids go ‘together’.
Can’t watch the vid, my emotions are too delicate right now….
The little sheltie I recently sent to the bridge, had been abused and developed some ugly habits, I knew it would take a lot of time and money (training), that most would not have spent.
…I took him in to prevent him from being bounced from shelter to shelter and then euthanized as a useless eater. I was able to eliminate most of the negative reactions with consistent love, kindness and training. I earned his trust. In return:
Up until the day before he went to the bridge, he was trying to protect me during our short walks.
Dog spelled backwards, is God. Thank you for sharing your memory.
What a wonderful rescue job you did Aggie! Restoring love and trust in any being is a difficult task! Seems like you’ve got the big heart and know how to soothe a damaged soul. ❤️
Been thinking about you a lot. 😘
Cat, this is a reprise of a post I made a few months ago. I think we’ve all felt this way about a special animal.
The Starfish Story
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing things into the ocean.
Approaching the boy he asked, “Young man, what are you doing?”
The boy replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t thrown them back, they’ll die.”
The man laughed to himself and said, “Do you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make any difference.”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the surf, then smiling at the man, he said,
“I made a difference to that one.”
~~Loren Eisley~~
Betsy!!! Good Morning ❤️
I remember this!!!! A favorite 🥰
It is one of mine as well, Cat. There are so many people who have made a difference to one animal. Reading those stories where oft times Herculean efforts have been made for one animal, or not so much though the effect is the same, made me think of it. It seemed a good time to repost.
And sometimes, as in Garrison’s heartbreaking story today, those efforts cost us dearly. When we give our hearts to a dog to tear, per Kipling’s poem. That’s our humanity… and thank God for it.💓
I too, and love that story.
And, Cat…I sent this to my twin grandlads the night before they started their jobs (training at the moment). Over the few days before, I gave them probably more advice about working in the service industry than they wanted, but they’ve always listened to me (and I thank God for that!).
But along with this story, I said to them that a smile costs nothing…that they would never know but that a smile they give might make a big difference in a customer’s day. They know this anyway, but I wanted that to be the last thing I said to them that would stick.
❤️ 🥰 it’s true ☺️
Children know certain things that adults lose sight of along the way. Great story and reminder that small acts of kindness make a big difference for ‘someone’. Good morning and God Bless dear friends. (starfish emoji + love)
I have looked after them and their sister, off and on, since they were wee bairns. A do over for me, and an incredible blessing for me as well. Plenty of time to focus on the development of their senses of what is right and their recognition of others. I thank God He made me a part of their lives when it counted. So grateful.
Aw…Feral, thank you so much. Was 3 weeks yesterday…me and the little brother sheltie are adapting. Its amazing how quiet the house is with out him.
I had to teach him love and trust, he never had any in his prior life…was fortunate to know his background so I could ‘work with it’.
Yes, humbly, I agree. He went from a suspicious and fearful dog to a trusting dog but still fearful of strangers. He was able to accept the same people we saw during our agility career together. One of our fellow competitors told me (he always gave a clean run), that he did it for me because he knew I rescued him from uncertainty.
Awww….I never could get used to the quietness. Drove me to get another eventually. God, in his wisdom, brought me jack who in turn cheered up my older one. Not something I would’ve considered on my own, getting too old to chase youngsters. 😂
Your fellow competitor has a heart of gold. Some I know, would only think of competition factor and not bother being kind.
Sounds like he was a great character detector. I’d miss him greatly if he was mine. ❤️
My heart is raw more and more these days, AG. It takes little to nothing to make it hurt. I bet you didn’t type that post with dry eyes. I know mine weren’t when I read it. 💓Bet
Betsy–you make a very poignant point; life’s balance between the goodness to simply enjoy and the constant overhang of evil sometimes seems too much to bear. Maybe that’s just a sign of getting old. I hope you have a good day.
Good morning, Joe💓 . Thank you so much. And may you have one as well.
Yes, it’s hard trying to keep that balance. Things we can’t fix or do anything about vs the gifts surrounding us each day. I keep having to remind myself there is a spiritual war going on. God’s war against the hideous evil that is in plain sight.
But I believe you are correct. Getting older is a part of it. We, individually, don’t reach our age without having experienced soul destroying losses and troubles. I think that makes us more sympathetic and empathetic because we can identify with others. That is our core as humans. Bless you, sir.
Mine is too, eyes been leaking a lot lately, politics, the country….one of the judges at our shows reminded us that they “are with us for such a short time”.
And they spend a lot of time waiting for us…
What helped a little is the thought of ‘giving my friend back to his Creator’.
I’m adopting that thought if you don’t mind. Giving my friend back to his Creator. ❤️
I saw a sweet cartoon the other day…a man at St Peter’s Gate in the clouds, and by his side is a little dog bouncing around in obvious excitement as a man appears before the Great Gate.
And there is St Peter saying, “So you’re little Bobby! We’ve been waiting for you.”
Talk about my heart in two…and yes, your thought would be mine, and it would be a tremendous comfort. All blessings to you, girl.🙏
Many years later my dad and I were talking and he told me that the breeder sold Prince to a hunter in Canada where he competed in hunting trials and became a national champion. I don’t think we ever really get over the loss of a loved companion but I think my dad was pleased that Prince had a long and happy life.
I think dogs instinctively know…I am happy to hear of this sweet ending…even though as a child you must have felt deep and lonely pain. Hugs for the memories of sadness….
That is sort of my old guy’s story…ran clean runs in agility. As he got older, did not always make time, but he gave his best.
My sister in law’s carriage driving partner in Wales used to judge at Crufts, the British equivalent of the Westminster Dog Show here…but I expect you know what it is.
We couldn’t wait to watch them yearly, and we always loved those dogs who ran the agility courses. The training involved!! My mind always boggles at the dedication of both the trainer and the dog. And the absolute patience which one must have. Amazing. And oh how the Brits love their dogs.💓
In Wales, Garrison, it is legal to shoot a dog who worries sheep, the lifeblood of every farmer. For my own sanity and that of my friends here, I won’t relate the one story I have of that. But I understand your father completely.💓
Similar rules apply in rural areas of Texas, Betsy. City people who thoughtlessly let their dogs run loose are not appreciated. Dogs can be trained to leave livestock alone. 🙂
Speaking of Texas, I’ve been meaning to share an odd little tidbit. The state of Rhode Island can fit inside the King Ranch. One of my dad’s favorite tidbits. He was a Cartographer for the US Gov’t. (anchor emoji)
They can, Garrison. Irresponsible dog ownership really angers me. Putting Prince’s best interests ahead of his obvious love for him, and his knowing how devastated you’d be was probably, I’m guessing, the hardest decision of your father’s life. That Prince went on to have a full life is testament to your father’s wise decision. What a fine man he must have been.💓
Dang (tissues)
Boss dog. Bruce Cameron’s movies are great . . . Be here now . . .
Boss dog. Bruce Cameron’s movies are great . . .
Garrison, personally, you’ve outdone yourself with these two videos! ❤️
The deep affection you had for prince is one I truly recognize and experience, even today. Some of the best ones I’ve known were of the Heinz 57 variety. ❤️
They’ve touched a very deep part of my ❤️. 💋
Thank you.
🙂 It’s funny how some things stay with you. I could not have been more than 4 or 5 at the time, yet I vividly recall that doghouse scene. I remember the warmth of Prince’s doghouse and how he curled up around me to keep me warm. I went to sleep until my mom found me . . . It’s a sweet memory.
Good Morning Home and thanks for the spark needed to start the day 😘
May the Lord bless you and be with you throughout the day!
God’s timing is not ours. But, unlike ours, His is purposeful. Through faith, trust, and patience, we have to remember this is so, and rely completely on His plan for us all.
You’re welcome, Ms. Cat.
This jangled my nerves and I only watched a few minutes of it. I think this link is worthy of the tree house.
https://rumble.com/v12o67f-coronagate-big-pharma-switzerland-and-organized-crime.html
Bookmarked and will watch later this morning, Coastal. Thank you.
Your welcome Betsy. Watched the complete presentation with my wife. It’s more than corona, though some very interesting things are said about the pandemic, it goes on to describe the various forces ruling Western governments and societies. Without giving anything away, Some may find it very surprising. I did.
On my way to watch now…
Just finished. I make of it that all the evil we see in this world is like those pictures of icebergs… that what we see is but a fraction of the entire edifice. The unseen roots are deep and wide. It would be a very brave true journalist who excavates them all.

What You Will Get
I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go. —Jeremiah 45:5
This is the firm and immovable secret of the Lord to those who trust Him– “I will give your life to you….” What more does a man want than his life? It is the essential thing. “…your life…as a prize…” means that wherever you may go, even if it is into hell, you will come out with your life and nothing can harm it. So many of us are caught up in exhibiting things for others to see, not showing off property and possessions, but our blessings. All these things that we so proudly show have to go. But there is something greater that can never go– the life that “is hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).
Are you prepared to let God take you into total oneness with Himself, paying no more attention to what you call the great things of life? Are you prepared to surrender totally and let go? The true test of abandonment or surrender is in refusing to say, “Well, what about this?” Beware of your own ideas and speculations. The moment you allow yourself to think, “What about this?” you show that you have not surrendered and that you do not really trust God. But once you do surrender, you will no longer think about what God is going to do. Abandonment means to refuse yourself the luxury of asking any questions. If you totally abandon yourself to God, He immediately says to you, “I will give your life to you as a prize….” The reason people are tired of life is that God has not given them anything— they have not been given their life “as a prize.” The way to get out of that condition is to abandon yourself to God. And once you do get to the point of total surrender to Him, you will be the most surprised and delighted person on earth. God will have you absolutely, without any limitations, and He will have given you your life. If you are not there, it is either because of disobedience in your life or your refusal to be simple enough.
WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
The Bible does not thrill; the Bible nourishes. Give time to the reading of the Bible and the recreating effect is as real as that of fresh air physically.
“The Bible does not thrill.”
Totally disagree with that one, but you have to allow yourself to be thrilled. Jesus is the word, does that not “thrill”? You can actually partake of Jesus through the word. Thrilling is an understatement.
And that’s a goal, not a reprimand.
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.
Good Morning duchess ❤️
I think I’m getting faster in getting the armor on. Can do it in under three minutes…..thanks to you. 😘
God is great!!!!!

MORNING, J. Bagster
Behold the Lamb of God. John 1:29
It is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Heb. 10:4-7
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isa. 53:7
Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold…. but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: … manifest in these last times for you who by him do believe in God … that your faith and hope might be in God. I Pet. 1:18-21
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom; and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Rev. 5:12
Verse of the Day for Thursday, April 28, 2022
✟
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
BE MY VOICE
BABY LIVES MATTER
Mornin’ comrade infidels.
I saw this one last night…and I was struck immediately by its brilliance. Wow!
Wow.
I’ve been experiencing an unnerving feeling this past week and have been unable to shake it. Admittingly my family has been through a very trying ’22 so far but this gut feeling is something different I think. Don’t know what it is about and it’s very unusual for me. It’s a feeling that something bad is happening or about to happen that will have an impact on our way of life.
As a veteran, a family man (married 39yrs), and retired from a very successful career I’ve been insulated from most all of the human catastrophes here and worldwide. These events show up in the news but have had little to no direct impact on my family’s lives – and I praise God for that – but for some reason I can’t shake the feeling that something bad this way comes.
I’m with you, Coastal, a really ominous feeling it is as well. This is why, for better or worse…worse, I think…despite the price I pay, I apply what I learned when I lived abroad. And that is why I watch everything, even the tiniest thing, that goes on worldwide.
And I’m truly sorry to have to say this truth…in general Americans view themselves as immune and safe from what is happening far away from their shores, even happening within this country. I have had the opportunity to observe and speak with, as an expat, my fellow Americans abroad. The stories I could tell you about their lack of knowledge and their attention spans would not surprise you, I think.
When I saw this last night, I wondered how many thousands who also saw it didn’t understand it. It did send a chill through me, I can tell you. This is why my focus is increasingly on Almighty God, Whose ways and plans are known only to Himself. I have to cling onto my faith for dear life a lot of times. I’m sure you feel the same.
And as I know of your and your family’s immense challenges this year, I hope you’ll accept my continuing prayers that as awful as things are, each day will see you all, especially your granddaughter, making good progress back to robust good health and a return to some normalcy out of the pit the “medical” cartel has kept them in. All blessings to each one of you🙏
Ditto. Couldn’t have said it better Betsy That’s why you’re special to me ❤️
I kneel in prayer with Betsy for your family and for everyone’s family. 🙏
Bless, Cat🙏 We just never know when things might get turned upside down and inside out. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, and that’s just a fact.💓
I’m wearing out from the constant vigilance.
Oh how I understand that…but who knows that maybe one day we’ll look up to see Christ return…and in fact that is the one thing I am on the look out for, Clarion, if truth be told. Blessings to you.
Thank you and you too.
🙏!!
Thank you so much Betsy. It helps to know one is not alone in these sorts of things and feelings. I too have traveled extensively around the world and learned early on to never judge a place or a people until you’ve lived it. 34 days was the longest I ever stayed abroad, happened to be Bombay India. Mumbai today. So I became a very good observer and could distinguish the differences between nations’ rule of law and safety. America appears to be loosing both.
And thank you for your kind words about my granddaughter. She is home now and is expecting to be able to walk again sometime this summer. I hope to have her here with us in Florida beginning in July, please God. That’s when her casts will be removed. She’s in good spirits and gets lots of love from her family and friends.
How wonderful!!!!!! Joy in fact!! She was so far from that when you first wrote of her. You go on and spoil her rotten!!! No better time for that, Lord truly love her🙏💓
And, Coastal, after I wrote my reply to you I thought I should add this…the first time I left these shores, I cannot tell you how naive and, yes, ignorant, of all things not American I was (in my little sheltered cocoon). Much to my shame. I had the fortunate opportunity to change that.
And I think today, more and more ARE paying attention and learning about the world in general. That’s a good thing, no matter what.
I’ve been feeling the great weight since about Easter. Something pending, something huge, good or bad, I don’t know, but it’s immense.
At this point, for something good to happen, would require great upheaval.
Yes…and definitely yes.
Joe is getting ready to pounce….
It’s terrifying to think what’s in store, but I agree.
Good Morning Treepers!
Some food for thought. These thoughts used to be the stuff of sci-fi stories. 😞
On March 17, 2022 a notice was published to the U.S. Federal Register seeking comments by May 16, 2022 on Competition and Intellectual Property System: Seeds and Other Agricultural Inputs. Remember to read through the proper lens when reviewing this document notice that derived from an executive order signed by Biden in July, 2021 on promoting competition in the American economy.
Their ultimate goal – every human being, every piece of food, resource, and product on this planet will be tracked and traced via blockchain. This isn’t a theory – it is their goal. In July, 2021, the FDA released their “New Era of Smarter Food Safety” which consists of using tech-enabled traceability for a digital, traceable food system, from farm to plate using blockchain.

Over at American Thinker today, J. B. Skurk has an article on the state in which the Democrats have put the country. I quote from the second paragraph below:
Most Americans alive today have never been more financially insecure, less safe, or more uncertain about their futures. Never have so many Americans or their loved ones been struggling with alcohol and drug addictions. Never have Americans reported feelings of isolation, loneliness and despondency in such high numbers across all demographics. Never have more Americans agreed that the nation is following a broken moral compass and headed in the wrong direction. After years of enduring psychological abuse from governing institutions selling nothing but fear and invasive bureaucratic mandates, parts of the country look as if they’ve been rattled into a permanent state of PTSD. Too many Americans are stumbling around like the walking wounded, waiting to endure the next round of pain that will surely come their way.
The left may have made a terrible error that they had no ability to foresee. They have created a nation that has little hope in politics, social institutions and the man-made entities that attempt to sustain us. They are creating a country that may have increasingly no hope except to turn back to God.
If true, things will change, but things will change in unpredictable ways. Whether God sends a cleansing judgement or a flood of his grace, we will be a better place on the other side. We will also be very different that anything we have know in our lifetimes. It is the first ray of hope that my spirit has enjoyed in a long while.
There is more than the bleak paragraph above. That is the summary.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/04/democrats_its_not_us_its_you.html
Good morning, VM.
This article states exactly my thoughts from the date of the coup. Exactly. And as the covers have been quickly removed from the degradation, perversion, cruelty, and insanity in this country (and in the world), I have thought that perhaps, and with prayerful hope, that a reawakening and return to God will be effected. How the perpetrators and deniers of Christ, who are no doubt acolytes of the serpent, would hate that. They do not comprehend the Light.
And he is right. Even in these dark days, that is my spirit’s hope as well.
The Great American Songbook………….
“As Time Goes By”. Words and music by Herman Hupfeld in 1931 for the show “Everybody’s Welcome”, but most famous for the cafe movie scene in Casablanca (1941) as sung by Dooley Wilson (Sam).
Found this gem 😄
Great. Old vaudeville meets American pop. A whole lot of talent on that stage……………..Bill Bailey, goes back to 1902, written by Hugie Cannon who was working as a bar pianist at Conrad Deidrich’s Saloon in Jackson, Michigan. Willard “Bill” Bailey, also a jazz musician, was a regular customer and friend, and one night told Cannon about his marriage to Sarah. Cannon “was inspired to rattle off a ditty about Bailey’s irregular hours. The rest is history and one of the original contributions to The Great American Songbook.
. . . but deliver us from the Evil One.

Child slaves and trafficked, for God forbid what. We know, but do not know the extent of it. Eternal shame on the Democrats…and, Cat, those open borders Republicans as well, like all the Bushes, tucked up nice and cozy in their expensive homes with all their security, untouched and obviously unbothered by the lives of these children. To think how scared and vulnerable such children are is unbearable for us to consider. But for they who are living this inhuman nightmare? Almighty God, please watch over these of your treasured flock. (I’m pretty sure our governor, Abbott, is one of those no border Rs as well.)
In Britain and all of Europe, now overrun with migrant populations antithetical to all those countries’ cultures, history, and way of life, the migrant men….almost never women and children…claim to be children (when clearly they are anything but).
But here’s the issue…every single country where they do this accepts them AS children, no problem. They are counted as children regardless. These governments know they are not, but that doesn’t matter. And that’s when the hideous problems start for the citizens of these countries. All a part of the new borderless world that is being created. Chaos and danger intentionally (key word) injected into heretofore western civilized nations. What an unholy worldwide mess.
A look at the global temperature anomalies. Or IOW the departure from long term averages.
Another one think that Jesus our Savior is coming soon?
No one knows His moment of return. But now, as never before, I’m on watch.
