You might wonder what the ruling class thinks of how inflation is hitting middle America. For insight into their perspective, Bloomberg News just published some suggestions for all the unwashed masses – as defined as those who don’t earn $300,000 per year.
The advice includes, shut up about the price of food, and eat lentils instead of meat. Quit bitching about gasoline prices, and just ride the bus, and the coup de grâce, “If you’re one of the many Americans who became a new pet owner during the pandemic, you might want to rethink those costly pet medical needs.”
Yeah, they said that. Us pesky proles and our pets are just mucking up the planet for the rest of them.

The ‘inflation sucks, but that’s your issue, not ours’ article is authored by Teresa Ghilarducci. According to her self-described bio, she “is the Schwartz Professor of Economics at the New School for Social Research. She’s the co-author of “Rescuing Retirement” and a member of the board of directors of the Economic Policy Institute.”
So, the think-tank economists who shape policy have a solution for all the complaining scrubs earning less than $300,000/yr who are now dealing with the inflation that leftist policy has created. The elitist arrogance, in the “no one said this would be fun” approach, is quite remarkable. However, it does show the snob-set no longer feel the need to filter their elitism.
The class gap has always existed, and whenever leftist policies are in place, that gap gets wider every second.
It would appear that somewhere in the recesses of Ms. Ghilarducci’s frontal cortex, she has snuffed out the glowing ember of the common sense particle given by her parents. In the brain of the Bloomberg author, the synapse for the common sense particle was pinched between the ‘Smarter than thou tumor‘ and the expanding grey brain matter of moral relativity needed to sit and type this bulls**t.
Within her diatribe, you can see the author is lacking a guilt hypothalamus, which removes any feeling of being uncomfortable in her elitist pontifications. She types away, without a clue, as the party groupthink metastasizes in her brain.
The working class really, I mean REALLY, needs to stop servicing the group who hold this mentality. I’ve said this before and I’ll repeat it again. Don’t do their shopping, don’t make them coffee, don’t pick up their trash, don’t clean their pools, cook their meals, accept their laundry or dry cleaning, or facilitate any process in their lives.
Don’t serve them, don’t wait on them, don’t deliver to them; instead, make them do everything themselves, and you know what will happen – they’ll collapse.
This is the way. Bravo
This inflation will kill the big blue states. IMO the solution will be to open the Fed to the same deal the Federal government get with excess interest returned to the State. The states can then go on an unlimited spending spree and fund BBB and escape the consequences of inflation.
The guy running for Mayor of LA says he is going to do a state of emergency on day one to handle the homeless. He is a billionaire RE developer. City of the Angels will be housing for the homeless.
Which is why people are moving out of LA…and most big cities
Yes, but it will be a huge WEF success story. The homeless housing has no parking spaces except for management and rely on public transportation. Success!
WEF is public/private partnerships. Public money going to RE developers to fund BBB. Success!
Endless supply of migrants crossing the border to keep rents high and steady supply of homeless. Success!
Tim Soctt legislation made investments in poor economic zones tax free! Therefore, your gains from inflation are tax free. Success!
BBB is happening.
There are roughly 400 million privately owned firearms in America. The 2nd Amendment of the Bill Of Right specifically mentions that citizen owned firearms are intended for a defense against tyranny.
Any way you look at it, socialism—regardless of it’s many forms—is tyrannical. The wisdom behind the 2nd Amendment, however, is not about “weapons of war” which will be used to shoot people. The wisdom of the 2nd Amendment is about power sharing. Regardless of its form, socialism depends upon monopolization of political power. This is why socialist states always prohibit or sharply control citizen gun ownership.
The 2nd Amendment, in contrast, actively permits private gun ownership. It does this specifically to prevent totalitarian tyranny from monopolizing government power as a way of controlling a population.
The 2nd Amendment, and indeed the entire Bill Of Rights, is intend to empower private citizens. The 2nd is about power sharing. In the coming mid-term election, we are going to see the kind of political reckoning that power sharing encourages when a free citizenry is confronted by tyranny. GO MAGA! GO TRUMP!
We ordinary people are disposable to them.
I don’t see how they think life will be so peachy when they get the population down to WEF goals. Who’s gonna make all the stuff they want? Who’s gonna keep the electricity generated, etc. etc.?
That work will be performed by the people that currently inhabit third world countries: those that are already used to living in crapholes and eating almost nothing and owning almost nothing. Give them a boost in living standards that would be a catastrophic downgrade to the average American and they will work themselves to the bone. At least until they figure out they are getting screwed too…
Won’t fly. They already know that even our poor people are the global 1%, that’s why they’re all coming here. The elite are too stupid to realize.
I used to know a woman who was in grad school and was allowed to use her student loan award paperwork as the showing she could support a foreign born husband and brought a Turkish guy here. He was one of 8 kids who was raised in a 2 room home and thought he was living in the lap of luxury in a one-bedroom house in a cute 20s brownstone with built-in bookshelves and china cabinet. He had untold luxury with heat, electricity, indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water and a computer. They didn’t have a car at first but were right off a bus line.
So many people from other countries don’t have the luxuries available to all here.
We won’t have them long. And they aren’t going to be able to maintain them when they kill us off. The thug overlords who think they are elite plan on using Robots.
No. Don’t say we are disposable. They only think we are disposable. No human, ever, is disposable. Now, the Libtards? Well, to be honest, I view them as demons, or at least demon-filled. They are not human. Therefore, they are disposable.
I mostly agree with you there, except that I think the “elite” are disposable and should be removed for the safety of civilization.
Isn’t that their motto? For the greater good? Always hold them accountable to their own standards.
[edit here, addendum] By “elite” I mean those that are trying to run the world as they see fit along with their puppets and propagandists. I have no care over the rich who may or may not have made their money or inherited it, only those that are trying to run everything in their forced conformity for self aggrandizement and control.
Wut you talkin ’bout Willis? We all know ‘stuff” comes from the store, electricity comes from the switch and water comes from the faucet! DUH!!! We don’t need no useless prole. We’ll ring the stores and demand they bring us our stuff…
I saw an image of some young, breathtakingly stupid, Libt@rd protester, holding a sign that actually said, I kid you not: “Who Needs Oil ? I Ride The Bus.”
Illegal aliens…
Yeah. Thats why we are bringing in more brown people. They are not uppity like those poor, white, unedumucated, rayciss Americans…
The answer to your questions is – Artificial intelligence. Known as AI.
Better get more familiar with how advanced it has become and all the elites’ plans to have it replace the “useless eater” classes of humans. Big Tech isn’t just about social media………..
Everything will be automated, no need for humans.
That’s what the globalist cabal is planning.
Personally I think they’ve significantly underestimated the power of the Holy Spirit within us humans.
Great comment
My company has already eliminated about 2% of working humans with AI.
The short term goal is 10%
Although its not stated, longer term is at least 30%
I used to think my job was too complex to replace with computer/robot. Current technology can do at least 1/3 of it. The other 2/3 can be outsourced to many other countries where a person would be thrilled to be paid just 5% of my salary
You will own nothing and be happy….
They don’t realize owning things is not a prerequisite to being happy.
Good point. They have so much money that it no longer has meaning. So now they get kicks managing the rest of us, making sure WE have nothing, and destroying creation. I have often thought how barren their lives must be that they are so obsessed with the need to monitor, track, follow our every move and take what we have worked for or created/invented, as if they don’t have enough. So very odd. Because we don’t think like they do, don’t share their obsessions and perversions, they presume we are stupid/not deserving of life. But the past decades, the inversion of EVERY decent value and good thing points directly to the satanic destruction of creation to prove their own delusions of divinity.
Maybe then some people will learn what freedom rally means?
Money may help facilitate things, but happiness comes from within, which is why so many people are unhappy and surrounded by useless things.
Do these people say these things knowing the outcome of the 2016 (and 2020) and just think elections were flukes, or do they know it is always going to be rigged?
They say it because there are never consequences. They have nothing to fear.
^^^THIS^^^
But we have the power to bring consequences!
They assume everything is rigged…and they’re right…
Inflation is a regressive tax. Those that can least afford it are the most affected by it. What happens when people earning < $50 k / yr are decding whether to put gas in their car so they can go to work or buy milk for their kids. Soon grocery stores will have everything behind locked doors because people will be stealing food to feed their families. What a h0rrible situation.
Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
every been to a store in an inner-city? it’s been like that for almost 50 years.
That’s when they have stores at all. Why operate in a place where you have high rent, high taxes, high losses from theft and the customers don’t appreciate you because your prices are too high as a result?
Answer: because EBT cards paying those high prices bring profits.
Some people sell their EBT cards for drug money. Then they have to steal their food.
That’s why San Francisco lost several Walgreens stores.
They are already stealing gas, not by siphon, but by drilling a hole in the tank and draining it. Replacing a gas tank isn’t cheap.
I don’t understand how a gas tank can be drilled without running the risk of a catastrophic explosion. If someone handed me a drill and asked me to drill a hole in a gas tank I would have two words for that person that I won’t post here.
Low-information drillers.
A lot of modern vehicles have plastic gas tanks. Drill bit on plastic won’t spark.
A sharp bit a low speed in a tank where the fuel line is above the drill point will not blow.
Back in the ’70’s they just punched a hole.
https://www.fox8live.com/2022/03/15/thieves-steal-1000-gallons-fuel-using-trap-door-gas-station-says/
Some steal directly from the gas station..
Amen to that, Sister…
The Walgreens I sometimes shop at started locking up their candles and febreeze 2 yrs ago during the looting and rioting; they got hit several times. Every time I go there, more is locked up. Last time it was trash bags.
Anyone or anything which thinks you should have and be less than all could be are Godless and evil. I want no part of them in anyway. I don’t see how anyone can think it ought to be for them and others…..sickening.
How can anyone who has a smidgen of self-respect support any entity or person whose goal is to intentionally suppress you?
They are Godless. They are soulless. They are evil.
michael bloomberg a quintessential republican politician. and his news service is a huge anti-trump part of the democrat party-media complex.
He’s a democrat.
The author is is a far left quacker, who’s lefty bonafide’s include attending The New School, Cal-Berkeley and currently a board member with Demos(where lefties want to go when they die). Bloomberg loves her because she’s a planner and talks like the females used by Lenin and Stalin to subjagate and unemotionally murder millions in the Ukraine so they could steal their farms and food… Don’t you just love how these lefty women are all so empathetic and sensitive? I mean that’s what they’ve been telling us all these years…
Don’t think she attended New School. Grew up in Roseville CA, middle class family. Enrolled at Berkeley as an undergrad, was 16, then enrolled in the Berkeley Econ Ph.D program at 19. Specialty was Labor Economics. Was mainstream left, not far left. Far left Econ at Berkeley at the time was only represented by Michael Reich; her brand of Labor Econ was influenced by Lloyd Ulman, Clark Kerr, Clair Brown…

“If you earn less than $300,000…” equates to over 95% of the citizenry of one the globe’s “wealthiest” countries, yet the way it’s presented kinda makes one of the 95%+ feel like they’ve somehow done something wrong based no more than the size (or the lack thereof) of one’s wallet. The self-knighted author’s ham-fisted attempt to “look out for poor schlubs” like you and I, actually betray her clear lack of empathy.
to quote the immortal Andrew
They don’t think Soylent Green works both ways ….. But it do.
First comment; the disconnect is beyond stunning.
Second thing on my mind;
This is the type of person who will be begging me for food to eat when the system completely collapses.
She can’t feel a thing typing in a Manhattan office that goes for about $28.95 per sq. Ft,
or her one bedroom studio that runs about $4K / mo.
Lastly I’d like to say the anger has not been cold for a while. I will not lower the standards of this fine site by saying what I really need to do; I can only keep to myself for so long.
Peace be with you all.
Yep, and there’s a place for diplomats and a place for soldiers and all the roles in between. Everyone has value in a war effort. It’s already begun. The good news is the vast majority of prols won’t fight, rather escape, evade, and survive and it will be only the very few who give that last full measure of devotion to freedom and liberty. That’s how it’s always been.
I bumped up against that realm in the topic long ago before I learned how evil the love of money could be; where the land of opportunity morphed into the land of greed and avarice. I’d say for myself that was around 35-40 years ago.
Now the same savvy that went into those decades is being used to fight the war. It is a war. Real people have already been killed. It’s not going to end anytime soon IMO. Get comfortable with doing what one needs to do. Make a choice. God gave us free will. His will be done.
Peace out brother.
I think most feel the same.
The political class is so out of touch with reality. But generally the citizens are equally uninformed and vain.
I worked in a neighborhood doing construction. It was during municipal elections. The man at a home informed me that he was voting liberal councillor because they had promised new sidewalks in front of his house!
Seriously!🤦♂️
The vast majority of society are low information voters. These people don’t see past the next stimulus cheque and handout.
I see the next big hurdle that we need to cross is educating our conservative brothers and sisters who just have no idea how dangerous the vast majority of the conservative political class is. We need a massive campaign of awakening the sleeping.
Niki Haley and Ted Cruz are still in viewed in high regards by many conservative.
In Canada the blinders are coming off. Many are very much awake. But we must be vigilant. I share CTH on group chats. We need people to be understanding the times we live in. Get the word out. Once you understand what Sundance is teaching us, you see it in everything. You can’t not see it.
We need an army of this level of educated voter.
DD
D.D.
The Army is growing.
Politically who knows, as that is an ego filled and rigged game.
However on a personal and at a local level the blinders are off.
One of the guys at coffee this morning told us he received a $100,000 in $100.00 bills from his bank yesterday.
He put the order in three weeks ago.
The manager whom he knows asked him why the withdrawal.
The reply was I no longer trust Canadian banks. The manager replied that he is hearing a lot of that.
A neighbour and ex colleague told me this evening that he will no longer be contributing to his RRSP ( retirement plan) he is going all in to tangibles. He says F**k the Canadian government.
The wife and I are still taking out the maximum daily allowed from the ATM
Tragic is this may be for the naive or unprepared. However this may be a terrific opportunity for those that are “ switched on”
Governments 🤮🤮
They will always be around of course, but the “ Great Reset” will not be what our betters😂😂 are anticipating.
Cheers!
Cheers! We have been doing a similar thing with any funds/accounts not needed for near-term (1 yr) projects. Our only difference is we are not getting cash but rather purchasing precious metals. I take an immediate loss but so far the loss has been made up fairly quickly in spot-price gains. Even if I loose a bit in the long term I have the security of knowing the elites won’t get it, even if they attempt confiscation.
“The vast majority of society are low information voters.”
Five, six years ago that was very true. I think the number has gone from “the vast majority” down to “many”. Case in point. The truckers’ resistance.
….but some animals are more equal than others…
I’d kill her before I’d kill my dawg.
The International Energy Institute wants us to have carless Sundays to punish Christians. I guess they have other things in mind for the Jews and Muslims.
Carless Fridays and carless Saturdays.
I’ve tried lentils. No, thank you. I’ll keep eating meat, stocking up, and preserving food while I buy American made products where I can and eating at local restaurants when I go out. I don’t get a newspaper but support multiple online news sites with my money, including CTH. I volunteer for a local charity, Katie’s Krops, that addresses hunger and food insecurity issues in a variety of ways. They get part of the money that used to go to Salvation Army.
I cut my expenses by, among other things, not supporting Hollywood by not going to movies or paying for cable, not shopping at Amazon, Nike, Starbucks, etc., and not having Farcebook, Twatter, etc., accounts. I pretty ignore companies and sports that above their wokeness in my face.
Why should anyone accept less when they are capable of more? My guess too many people have allowed themselves to be weak.
Great post! Full disclosure we get our moneys worth at a local Starbucks that is located in a grocery store.
We seniors arranged a deal when it opened to get a coffee at $1.25 ( Can) $1.00 U.S. and a free refill. Regular price $2.25 and no refill.
We get a great seat, and take up the same spot near everyday at 0700 when it opens.
Sure Starbucks is the enemy but us occupying that prime table for an hour or so costs them.
Petty..sure. But it’s kinda fun, and we Seniors enjoy it.
Cheers!
I love being a retired senior and doing this kind of stuff.
It’s a Sport…hey most of us here at CTH are likely decent sorts, working stiffs and family folks.
These elitist pukes have no chance against the likes of us..none!
Cheers!
Lentils with slow cooked pork loin us amazing. There are many recipes for cooking with lentils. Tasty protein . Saludos.
Enjoy! I won’t.
Sorry if this offends anyone, but after actually reading the article I don’t think it was meant the way SD is describing it.
I don’t think the author was coming from an elitist point of view, rather she seemed to be giving advice to help lower class people or families during inflation. There isn’t a word about killing your pets in the article. She doesn’t seem to be someone who is in a position to change any governmental policy. Just my take.
There are plenty of other things going on that SD can stir the shit up with. This isn’t one of them.
If you are trying to “help” people who are going to have a hard time buying food, you do not tell them to “not buy bulk”.
That can of corn may be half the price this month as next. You buy bulk now, if you can.
This person has obviously never suffered fr/ lack of $$$ and is not worrying now about how to feed herself if the price of food, etc. doubles.
Right. That stuck out to me too. I’ve been buying in bulk since my oldest kids were in diapers. Buying in bulk saves us a fortune. Quick example would be a case of Kraft Mac and cheese. At my local bjs its regular price right now is 14.99 for 18 boxes or 83 cents/box. At my local Acme, it’s on sale and the price is 1.19/box. ps bjs and Costco put Mac and cheese on sale a few times a year. I never pay full price even for the bulk stuff. For years I was averaging about 40 cents a box. Now it’s doubled. Thanks Joe!
No word “kill,” per se, but this:
If you’re one of the many Americans who became a new pet owner during the pandemic, you might want to rethink those costly pet medical needs. It may sound harsh, but researchers actually don’t recommend pet chemotherapy — which can cost up to $10,000 — for ethical reasons.
To be honest, I don’t look to Bloomberg for financial advice or pet advice because they always state the obvious and now with more smugness.
My sister’s vet suggested her cat get a heart transplant. I near about fell out the chair.
What did your sister think of that recommendation, or did she go ahead and have it done?
Many people, especially older folks, get very emotionally attached to their pets. Without children or other caring family around, it can get terribly lonely. Especially when covid tyrants have limited visits and now with prohibitive gas/travel costs. I don’t judge anyone who spends big money to cure a pets ills, or simply to keep their pet healthy.
I know it’s wrong but that made me laugh. Just curious, how much does a cat heart transplant cost? Do they have a waiting list? Did your sister do it?
Years ago, we had a kitten that got injured and I rushed it to the vet. He had a brain injury and they did the initial treatment and said to take it to the emergency vet that is open 24/7. I did and they initially said he seemed a bit better. The next day, Saturday morning, the bill for both places was up to $1500 and another vet called with an update and in the course of the conversation asked me if I understood what the ramifications, financial and otherwise, would be to continue treatment. She said he may never be “right” and at the very least we were looking at a bill of $15-20K or more and he would need someone with him 24/7 for several months after he came home. We had him euthanized and every vet at the emergency place said it was the correct decision but most of the doctors at the regular vet thought we should have “tried harder”.
I don’t think the author was coming from an elitist point of view, rather she seemed to be giving advice to help lower class people or families during inflation.
And you think lower class people are in that category of earning less than $300,000 yr. category? Gotcha. And you do know that most animal shelters euthanize animals after a week or so if they are not adopted. So, yes, getting rid of your pet to an animal shelter is pretty much killing it.
$300K a year? Never seen that in our lifetimes with two wage earners. That’s the benchmark? She can kiss our famly’s ass. There is a reason why we chose to not be in an urban community with public transportation. Hard times mean hard decisions but I think the “opinion” piece was insulting.
She is a pos lefty with blinders!
They intentionally jack up the inflation to destroy the economy, and then tell you to deal with it by letting your pets die.
Good point. Nothing the Leftists do is accidental or benign. All their “failures” are part of their systematic destruction of the country. Putting clownish people in power is a false front to hide the smart and sinister workings of totalitarian psychopaths bent on world control.
Everything doesn’t have to be so literal. There is such a thing as humor and snark, it is a way of coping w/darker issues.
The only “shit stirring” I see here is you criticizing Sundance’s choice of topics he wants to write about for his blog.
BTW, it’s elitist to tell people what they should or shouldn’t eat as if we are too ignorant to make prudent decisions when shopping.
Lower “class”?
Fundamental conceit.
Yes, I’m one of the unwashed masses. Time to take out the trash.
Never elite, just thinking they are superior even though they are not.
Other generations simply hauled the elite out of their houses and strung them up in the front yard. Eventually the civilization reset itself and the whole cycle started again.
Fourth Turning, anyone?
Sounds like a winner to me.
She also says ‘sell your car.’ Wtf?
As I read the article it dawned on me this was not a spoof. This crazy lady actually thinks she is giving us good advice.
You know, I understand now, more than ever, why the guillotine was erected in Paris and heads rolled.
The original draft undoubtedly recommended that we sell a kidney, and indenture our children.
In China the government does that for you and keeps the profit on the deal.
“Don’t serve them, don’t wait on them, don’t deliver to them; instead, make them do everything themselves; and you know what will happen – they’ll collapse.”
Before they do that, they’ll just open the border even wider. If that’s possible.
Maybe that was part of the plan — the rich and the poor, without that pesky middle class.
Immigrants usually migrate to avoid/escape war zones, so making their destination as dangerous and unpalatable as possible to them will effectively combat even the most creative of lies the NGO lawyers tell them.
I’d expect the government to arm them and create mercenary forces out of them too. They’ve already done that with Antifa and BLM. Burn loot and assassination squads. Expect more of the same, particularly if we sit back and let them kill us with fire, bullets and bioweapons. There is no magical savior. We must save ourselves.
Feel that boiling water yet?
And whatever you do, don’t buy in Bulk, even if you can afford to now!
Just wait a few weeks/months for when the price goes up and quality has deteriorated further to get the next box/can/bottle of whatever!
Great. Advice. !!!!! /s
Aldi was out of multiple things the last few weeks. They had them today so I bought 2 or 3 of each of the items I wanted (all perishable), making sure there were still a lot on the shelf. The clerk asked if I was stocking up. I said yes and he said good idea because who knows when they’ll get the items back in stock.
I took that don’t buy bulk comment as her fear of people starting to hoard commodities. Either that or she’s concerned people might become prepared to weather out any shortages, thus avoiding the scenes of panic stricken crowds struggling to grab that last can of beans, something she might just enjoy.
Yup. That’s what I think too. Why would she think people will waste what they’re buying in bulk? It was an Especially odd statement considering she’s telling people to live on beans.
Maybe she’s not yet had a chance to invest in bean futures?
😂😂😂😂😂
Funny how some of the same wording comes from government officials too.
The thoughts of this communist should be played on the Times Square billboards and blasted on every billboard across America.
I wonder if little Mikey approved this message
Does anyone know the history of the guillotine?
The last head slice was in 1977, I had no idea one occurred in my lifetime, islam beheadings don’t count.
I learn so much every day at the Treehouse.
https://www.thoughtco.com/history-of-the-guillotine-p2-1991842
I always associate it w/the French, didn’t the others used a round a blade as opposed to an angled slicer.
It was cutting edge technology used to remove the heads of state.
I don’t know anything other than I hate these people.
I’d take the bus if we werent going to be mugged, raped and murdered by all these illegals and criminals the elitists want here specifically to make our lives miserable and destroy what we love most while they have their pawns do their bidding from their ivory towers. Call these people out every chance you get.
I took the bus all over Seattle back in the 90’s.
You couldn’t pay me to get on one today.
When I lived in Maryland, there were news articles about multiple white adults getting beaten up by middle school students on the public/municipal busses when school let out (between 2:30 and 4 p.m.). It still happens shortsighted to friends in the area but they don’t publish those articles anymore unless someone is killed.
You couldn’t pay me to ride those busses.
I rode streetcars in the late 50s and early 60s until they were abandoned in favor of busses. 20 years later you couldn’t get on a bus in Baltimore that didn’t stink of urine. I felt bad for the poor folks who had to ride them to get to and from work.
I had long had my own car by then, but a work colleague who frequently used busses said, “You get used to it.” No, nobody should have to tolerate that. But long before the Baltimore city government was giving criminals “space to destroy”, they were giving homeless drug addicts and alcoholics “space to pee.”
In Sacramento Ca our law enforcement officers refer to our light rail as the “crime train”. Politicians want us all to ride it while we pay for their state provided cars, fuel and drivers in many instances.
LOL. Yrs ago I lived in Cleveland and rode the bus. Then they had a strike and no bus. That was that. My car has never gone on strike. Broke down a couple of times, and I had to call AAA, but still prefer to not be at the mercy of “public transportation”.

Bloomberg can teach anyone, even those in the room(no offense), how to be a farmer. Remember the debates?
Arrogant SOB.
Be fun to see him feed himself farming off the land for a year or two- doubt he’d make it that far tho.
Yes, she typed it up BUT bloomberg printed it.
We cook your food.
We haul your trash .
We guard YOU while you sleep.

We should counter with money-saving tips. I’ll start:
Stop auto donations to DNC
Keep ’em coming!
Stop donations to the RNC, too.
Cut down on the flights to Belize and Costa Rica. That ecotourism adds up quickly!

If the environmental extremists thought cow flatulence was a problem, just imagine the impact of 300 hundred million people switching from meat to lentils.
Dude ….. windmills !
How did things work out for Mrs Antoinette and her hubby?
How did things work out for the smart lawyer who got them out of the way?
So utterly out of reality she is!
By the way, just for the record lady, God cares not what anyones salary on Earth is.
He does however call out the punishment for “ill gotten gains”.
No idea who this lady is, but her words mean nothing to me, except to tell me she is trash.
Don’t buy in bulk??? No, buy as much as you can in bulk, prices aren’t going lower, and if you get a discount so much the better….
how about f her and the lib school for social research, bloomberg and all tge libs and sellout rino’s!! oh yeah fu^k joebama
What I find striking is not only that Ms. Ghilarducci wrote this piece of literary rubbish, but that it was actually published in Bloomberg. How obtuse does an editor for a major news organization have to be to approve it for publication? On top of that, they must be proud of the article, they placed it on Twitter for their 427k follows.
I realize it’s “her” opinion but damn.
Chances are good she was tasked to write this crap.
Not saying she objected though.
Teresa Ghilarducci? An Italian working at Bloomberg that’s not cleaning toilets. That’s a shocker!
The American political system has committed, what I believe is, a catastrophic failure of governance by NOT maintaining a simple, fair system of TAXATION. For decades, the politicians have hacked away at various theories, granted special favors, and literally butchered up the notion that citizens can rely on a simple and fair tax. They have created multi-billionaires then allowed them to dictate federal policy because they “contribute” so much money. George Soros owns the DNC and has been granted his wish of Open Borders during the Biden Administration. The same can be said about Warren Buffett and how ownership of BNSF, that become the benefactor of Biden’s cancelling the Keystone Pipeline and throwing 60,000 jobs in the trash. Further, the IRS has been weaponized more than once by championing people like Lois Lerner and various incompetent managers. Politicians cause great harm by CAUSING social division & hatred by keeping a butchered taxation!
The system of taxation is not a failure governance. It is a deliberate distraction used against the people. While they are busy complaining about unfair taxes, the people remain silent as their monetary system is used against them. We are to remain forever in debt to the privately held banks that hold and control the fruits of our labor.
And if there are no buses where I live? What then a-h01es?
As to the eat lentils, stop eating meat bit. I was just relaying a funny story about a current dweeb on Survivor who is a vegetarian. It’s an island, lots of green vegetation, you’d think he would be in heaven. I mean these kids grew up on Survivor, right?!
But I guess he found out there are not Whole Foods on every corner of his island, and apparently did not prep on what one can eat to survive on while staying on an island. So he’s starving, and know he needs to eat, and they caught a crab and he finally gives in and eats some. He’s guilt ridden, poor crab. 😉
Just like the USPS telling FJB, “We aren’t buying electric vehicles.” They know what we know. 🙂
More of the demonic manifesting from someone possessed.
Seeing alot of that lately.
SD commentary is noteworthy however millions of illegals who hold no allegiance to this country…will step into those roles that support those 300k’s. So in the end THEY will win.
“Don’t serve them, don’t wait on them, don’t deliver to them; instead, make them do everything themselves; and you know what will happen”-….. They will keep on with their plan which is doing what they are allowing to happen now….keep importing illegal 3rd world hordes to invade the country to replace and destroy the middle class that they openly hate. Unless we stop them now.
The WEF “Great Reset” plan is becoming crystal clear. The elites are out to starve us into submission by inflation, crashing the value of the dollar, energy shortages and supply line shortages, etc. We already know, they are accomplishing this goal with the co-operation of the Uniparty Corruptocrats, Silicon Valley social media giants, the broadcast, print and cable propaganda, stolen elections, etc. As this article points out, they are arrogantly out in the open with it.
I fully understand what Sundance is saying. We need to organize to take action to strike the fear of the people into these arrogant, good for nothing leeches. We need to adopt the tactics of the left and stop this mentality of “we are better than that.” Think boycotts, strikes, protests in the streets, flooding the emails, social media accounts, etc. with threats of boycotts to the CEO’s of the corporations that is pushing this nonsense, stop with the worrying about “offending” people who hate you anyway, don’t comply with “group think”, etc.
This is just my opinion because I am seriously doubting that we are going to just “vote” our way out of this rapidly creeping tyranny, especially in the long run. These Communist are in it for the long haul. It will take some drastic action from “we the people”. But, I digress.
I like your idea; the one area of potential conflict is what do we do about their brownshirts, enforcers and mercenaries?
We’ve already seen their work in the burn, loot and murder operations and how law enforcement and the criminal justice system selectively targets groups and individuals for ‘attention’.
How are those J6 protestors the convoy is circling daily at the D.C. prison doing? That’s one example of many. Bet Treepers didn’t know the convoy has been sending in a special detachment to the jail pretty much every day. Yup. That’s reality. That’s who the enemy is. That’s what they do. Accept it, or not.
Mike Antionette Bloomberg says “let them eat lentils”. Perhaps he should read up on French history.
I am reminded of 2008 financial crisis when the media was full of “advice” like, “Stop buying Starbucks and make your own coffee.” These people live in a bubble.
Ms. Ghilarducci proposed years ago to nationalize all 401k accounts for use in the public domain. That was in ~2008 if memory serves me. Well now besides desiring to steal money from the public, now she wishes to feed them lentils. I am surprised she doesn’t advocate eating your pets as well. A sad state of affairs has arrived at our doorstep.
Ms. Ghilarducci would know that under Caesar and other Roman Generals the Roman Army conquered much of the known world and the soldiers ate Pasta Fazoli which is a soup made with white beans and is still a feature of Italian dinners. Why she chose lentils is ridiculous!
