I happened across this video of Iraq “Shock and Awe” last night and i cant help but think if Vladimir Putin wanted Ukraine, Kiev would have gone through something like this… within the first few minutes of this “conflict”.
I remember that on CNN live. I was ironing in my bedroom and broke down in tears. I had two young children at that time and was appalled at this “shock and awe” in Iraq.
Those explosions are mainly cruise missiles. Russia has cruise missiles that are essentially copies of the Tomahawk (shape, size, range, explosive power). They could easily have sent 2 dozen into downtown Kiev if they wanted.

Went over the statistics for the State of Texas for 1 March election day.
Participation rate was again a low 15%, as planned. Anybody from TX not voting has zero right to complain. Although, the most often heard excuse, was election day(s) were not well advertised unless you went hunting them. Even the campaign signs I saw locally DID NOT HAVE ELECTION DATES. That being said, in the famous words of a Sargent Major, with whom I served at Ft Riley, the maximum range of an excuse is zero meter.
The 2 most locally interesting items from a Republican point of view:
This is the first time I have ever seen a front runner used to ensure the “favored” runner-up was declared the winner. Van Taylor (TX-3) sucked up 53% of the skimpy turn out for the Republican Primary….then he promptly resigns over his fang-fang with an ISIS commando. The TX-RNC elevated Kieth Self (favored slime) and 24% of the vote to the winner circle, while a potentially better person Suzanne Harp, with 20%, was 3rd. The other candidates sucked up 3% of the vote. Now compare that to the TX-AG race.
AG Paxton carried 43% while the nearest competitor, Bush III, was at 24%. Louis Gomert was thrown in as spoiler and grabbed about 14% of the vote to keep Paxton under 50%. In their infinite wisdom, the RNC says Paxton has to weather a run off vs Bush III, as planned.
The Governors race was no contest with Abbott mustered 60% that is more than Alan West + Huffines.
The Lt Governor race was no contest, Patrick gained over 73%.
Trump endorsements were YUGE and impacted the incumbent races.

Very sad indeed. I saw a picture of her operated on knee and the entire leg is swollen two times the other. Knee and tibia surgery are ripe for blood clot problems and typically an anticoagulant is considered especially for tibia breaks but that photo swollen leg haunts me and will haunt the orthopedic.

NO. The Courts at ALL levels get to play ignorant until the EVIDENCE IS PRESENTED, it is the luxury the Judges in our corrupt multi-tiered system get to practice. Judges do not decide on studies, news articles, medical papers or public information. They decide on PRESENTED EVIDENCE.
There has been more than enough medical, scientific and mathematical evidence way before this article for the courts to ACT upon, if ONLY IT HAD BEEN PRESENTED. It is the same gong (argument) that has been sounded since the cases began to end mandates and stop the madness 1-year ago … THE EVIDENCE HAS TO BE PRESENTED.
I believe the cases have been lost or heavily diluted on purpose to this point in time.

Gas has done the big jump since Monday. It was $3.16 and is $3.55 today at Circle K and Exxon, Love’s is $3.45, Shell $3.70. This is in northern Mississippi. The Exxon in Memphis near the hospital is $3.99.
Diesel everywhere is $4.50 and up.
