There is a baseline CTH readers are likely familiar with, but something we have not emphasized enough in quite some time.

The Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Democrat National Committee (DNC), are private clubs.
The RNC and DNC are corporations, private businesses; and just like all private businesses, they have the ability to make rules, bylaws, terms and conditions of membership and association that are completely arbitrary according to their charter.
The RNC and DNC are not entities of government. The RNC and DNC are not affiliates of government. The RNC and DNC have absolutely no connection to government, other than their arbitrary business model for helping politicians enter and remain within government.
In fact, the RNC and DNC are simply private corporations who engage in the business of politics. Whenever we start to forget the DNC and RNC are private corporations, we can slip into the mistaken belief that they operate on any form of baseline altruism.
These corporations exist for the fulfillment of their mission; and their mission is to use the business of politics as a method of financial reward to sustain the business model.
Some call these private entities, these corporations, “clubs,” because using that term helps to remind us that these groups do not operate without a private agenda.
The rules within the RNC club are determined by the people who control the club charter, primarily large donors who fund the corporate business. If they have a particular intent or direction, they wish the club to support or take, they control how the club engages in the process of achieving their outcome. That effort is taken regardless of the opinion from the subordinate members in the club.
Through the process of controlling the corporations, the private clubs, both the RNC and DNC control how political events take place. Nothing within this process is contingent upon the support of the voting electorate.
Each state and local precinct has their own chapter of the club, and often the corporate direction, specifically the club activity in/around Washington DC, is different from what the local groups want to see take place. However, just because the local chapter of the group disagrees with the parent company or board of directors, does not mean the larger corporate entity will change anything.
When we are evaluating political events inside the United States, it is critical to keep reminding ourselves that what is taking place, or what is not taking place, are outcomes determined within the executive suites of a private club. This is an unfortunate system dynamic, but it is a critical point that once fully understood explains many of the issues people have with the registered politicians within the club.
The RNC and DNC are businesses. Their decisions are business decisions. The club actions, or lack thereof, are all part of the business of politics.
The tenured participants in the club do not operate arbitrarily in a vacuum. They talk to each other, communicate with each other, organize with each other, plan with each other, and collaborate for the larger objectives of the private corporation.
Nothing within the business system of DC and club politics has anything to do with the constitutional framework of U.S. government.
Again, for emphasis. The governing process and constitutional aspects of the framework within the U.S. government, have absolutely nothing to do with the two private corporations known as the RNC and DNC.
A potato farmer has no influence on McDonalds, despite the fact the fast food corporation sells french fries.
Please keep this reference point in mind.

What is the Trump infatuation with being republican? Like he is engaged?
This is a tough one. I also wouldn’t want to be identified as a Democrat.
Every single republican senator abandoned him to hold an unconstitutional impeachment trial. Like he is the black sheep that likes abuse or something.
Trump was never in the club. They don’t want him in the club. They will do everything within their power to keep him out of the club. That’s why I stopped paying dues … they don’t really want any of us in their club, they hate us.
nailed it
They all like the money and don’t want the money working against them, like zuker bucks.
Donate to President TRUMP directly ! Bypass all the grifters. And carpet baggers. Or is that beggars?
What is the best way too Donate to President TRUMP directly?
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/
the ONLY way to donate to PDJT directly!
(online and snail mail both.
online donations are PROCESSED, not governed, by winred.)
I made the mistake of donating online to Trump in 2016, once, and have been inundated with fundraiser crap from every R ever since. I don’t regret him getting it, but the fundraisers just sell your # to a hundred other candidates in perpetuity. It never stops despite sending “STOP” to them.
PDJT just sees value in the organization, not the Rinos.
And, not a single republican senator rose to demand a quorum call during the phony faux pretend
sessions with almost no one there.
That would have put the Senate in recess and allowed him to make recess appointments to get some people
on his team and accomplish his objectives, like Build The Wall, etc.
Do you think all the Senators knew they were screwing Trump? Or were they all afraid of being skewered if they were the one who favored Trump?
I watched the same sh–show in the 96 primaries with what they did to Pat Buchanan.
I’m sure he has been tempted to go third party, but third parties almost always lose, and he doesn’t want to lose.
You can’t have a 3rd party when you don’t have a 2nd party.
A 3rd party defined as a fringe, minority party is the GOP the instant a real conservative party is formed.
How about no party? That was POTUS George Washington’s recommendation–with good reason–in his farewell address.
His reasoning was/is not mysterious. It seems that the problem is simply that very few people are aware of what he said in that final address, which was never spoken publicly, as in a speech: it was released only via newsprint.

You have a very good grasp of the situation, Sharon!
Ross Perot could have done it but he dropped out in the middle of the campaign due to threats…just when he was gaining traction. All you need is lots of money to get your name on the ballots in the states…Trump has the money.
In the early days of Ross Perot’s run for President, the group of people were Ross Perot, Donald Trump and the wrestler Ventura. Ventura stayed independent, became a governor, and Donald Trump saw the games the Big Club did to Perot, how they went after his daughter and were going to go through every business venture Perot had been in to find dirt – and, my opinion, Donald Trump saw those moves and planned accordingly, which is why try as they might the Big Club has yet to take him down. I think President Trump saw the Republican party as more in tune with an America First agenda so chose them instead of the Democrat party.
Either way, Ross Perot was the forerunner for the tea party movement which was the forerunner for MAGA.
All the Dems have left is communism.
again, just the way I see why PDJT chose to enter politics through the Republican party. The republicans don’t know how to fight so were more open to a hostile takeover.
Perhaps what Trump saw in the early days is that there were (and still are) more of US than there are RNC donors.
Interesting you mention Ventura. I lived there then, and his election and governorship were highly instructive to Trump’s rise to the presidency and the pushback from the elites of both sides. Ventura was a jerk, but wasn’t hatred for that- he was hatred for daring to beat the establishment puppets.
There was a lot of money available to Trump or anyone who won the Republican nomination. He was more closely aligned with Republicans than Democrats. His policies have really exposed the Dems. In order to be different than Trump– oh, my goodness they just had to be– the took the opposite side. He was for law and order, they took defund the police. He was for tariffs and free trade, they weren’t. He was for the wall and limiting illegal immigration, they are for illegal immigration. He was for rebuilding the military, they want it to be woke. If Trump said up, they were going to say down. We need him again.
Agree. Trump loves winning and hates losing. If he thought he had a better chance of winning as a third party, he would be doing it.
Maybe he wants to reform the Republican Party. Lord knows they need it.
That is what he meant by Drain The Swamp.
He was as originally going to run as an Independent. He was convinced to run as a Republican.
B A M ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I get grief every time I say this but in my opinion, he missed the boat by not creating a third party while he has/had the following to do so. After what that party (GOP) did to him why on earth would he want to remain a part of it and how can he possibly believe he can reform it? The level of corruption is too deep.
As always, only my opinion but there are plenty of facts laid bare by none other than Sundance himself that support my criticism of the GOP and their corruption.
Trump has every Senator by the nuts for violating their oath of office. Yet he does not take any action against them. Why? Has Trump been threatened? Is Trump now controlled?
They are malleable. Once they realize that 80+ million aren’t interested in the ‘same old same old,’ they will (most of them, anyway) get behind him.
I’ll predict that if Trump-endorsed candidates clean up vs the RNC-endorsed candidates in the primaries, we’ll start to see a wave of RNC retirements much like DNC is seeing now. They can go make bank being a lobbyist and still get the insider trading info.
They should not be allowed to lobby after leaving congress. I thought I remembered they made a rule that prevented them from taking advantage by lobbying after leaving a congressional seat?
Between his poor personnel picks first term and things he has done and not done since then, I have many more questions about his ability to grow into the role that is needed. In other words, he has not proven to me that he has learned much since the first term. Doesn’t mean I won’t vote for him but I’m going to have lower expectations………at a time when the country can’t afford lower expectations., certainly not reduced results. And, like before, how much help will he actually get from the GOP?
That said, the rate of destruction right now is so rapid, it may not even matter. One day at a time as only time will tell.
You should recall that McTurtle kept the Senate in session and thus had control over most of Trump’s picks. i don’t remember how PDJT outmaneuvered McTurtle to turn Grennell loose on the Swamp. It was a beautiful thing.
Agreed. Fully aware of how Turtle played him for four long years. Yes, Grennell was a breath of fresh air. Wasn’t he a temporary placement?
He BECAME temporary because he was battling Cancer.
Thanks
Not that it matters a great deal but when I looked him up it said he was “acting” director, never confirmed. Ratcliffe was confirmed, Grenell was an acting/temporary assignment.
Hell of a good man, regardless.
Politicians are pretty much by nature wolves in sheeps clothing. I am sure President Trump did not know the level of corruption just as we ourselves did not.
Shame on you Levi! You haven’t looked at the list of his accomplishments, ALL while he was under constant attack and threats! ” his ability to grow”? That makes me laugh! There has never been a President in our history who accomplished as much as he did. What he will do in 2024 is restore what Biden has destroyed, only this time he won’t be burdened with the thugs he had to hire because he was TOLD he had to hire them. And by that time, the thugs who are being surfaced by Durham will have taught DJT all he needs to know to avoid the same misfortunes again.
Wow, you sure read a lot of “what I did not say” into that reply. Nowhere in my response or the comment I was responding to was there anything about what POTUS accomplished. But that very long list is well documented. He did what he campaigned on, where it was possible. And that alone sets him apart from the rest of the DC scoundrels. So, thank you very much for a wrong read and assumption.
Attacks and threats – exactly why I have stated, almost perpetually, my eternal gratitude to him for the sacrifices he made to expose the breadth and depth just how corrupt/criminal our government is. Again, thank you for a wrong read and assumption.
I’m surprised you didn’t criticize my haircut. I’d have been ok with that since I cut it myself. At my age I’m not looking to win any beauty contests.
Ability to grow – Laugh if you wish but I’ll give you a very specific example. Continuing to tout the jab. It wasn’t until the boos hit him on stage with “No Spin News” that he finally changed his tune and took up new positioning at the Conroe Rally. Glad he FINALLY got the message but it should not have taken him as long as it did given all we have learned about the jab in the past year. Reminded me of how long it took him to finally read Barr and McConnell correctly.
As for the rest of your comment, hope you’re right. It sounds wonderful. Simple but wonderful. What he and we are up against is not simple. It is complex, global in scale and extremely dangerous to all of humanity. Wish I could boil it down to that level of simplicity. I can’t but I still hope you are correct in the end. God bless.
What action do you recommend?
Sue them in court?
I would attack the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
The Chief Justice has taken an oath to the Constitution.
The CJ said he would not attend the trial. Yet the Constitution is written in black and white.
Put the CJ on the defense, let the CJ make the accusation against the Senate.
That way it is not Trump attacking the Republican party. 🙂
If Trump will not defend himself, how can we expect him to defend us?
He’s been very verbal against the “broken old crow” in every other post. He’s working to get him out by 2024. I haven’t heard McConnell retaliate which is interesting.
If you’re not Cheney, you’re playing a terrific clone.
“Has Trump been threatened?”
… When did you arrive on planet Earth?
What does Trump love most? I would say Ivanka. If you wanted to control Trump, kidnap Ivanka.
Something has happened and we need to figure out what it is. Trump is not being Trump.
Poppycock
I think his love of Melania and Barron FAR outshines his love of Ivanka post-Jared
If you had watched the Texas Rally last night , you would know Trump is indeed being Trump. bertdilbert, I think you are correct, Trump , or Ivanka, or maybe the whole family, was threatened. Ivanka was standing on the tarmac crying, as Trump was giving his farewell speech, about to fly to Maralago. It was sooo hard to believe he was caving, but he never did resign and he’s VERY proud of that. I suspect if the AZ audit was done right, and he could be proven as winning the most LEGAL votes, the electors would be disqualified, and that is already happening in another state,Wyoming? Hmm, that might not be the correct state but one state has already disqualified the Electors who voted for Biden. Maybe Pa?
“Trump has every Senator by the nuts”
… in the Twilight Zone.
“Is Trump now controlled”
… as you skipped over Biden.
I think he saw that to win the Presidency he would need to have in place the infrastructure which the existing party’s had in place. My comment above, he was involved with both Ross Perot and Ventura in the early days of Ross Perot’s attempt to win the Presidency so was able to see what was needed to get the job done; watched what the existing party apparatuses did to Perot and also watched how no party apparatus made Ventura a one-off as far as national politics goes.
A very stable genius and sometimes stable can be exchanged for the word strategic. The man knows how to get things done.
Yeah, he certainly knows how to get things done. Or, at a minimum, he is action driven. Wants to get things dome. Incredible work ethic. I can see some common sense in that (leveraging the party infrastructure). Alongside a measure of insanity in knowing that the party is always working behind the scenes to undermine him.
As for genius, we certainly saw many aspects of that from him in office, mostly with his business acumen leading the way. A few things that I stand in awe of to this day. But I didn’t find much genius in his personnel choices. In fact, he proved, to me, largely the opposite. He got played by some some very crafty DC politicians, many times over. Barr, Mitch, Lindsey, Fauci, Wray, Pence among them.
Two things about that. 1) I don’t fault him entirely, he was surrounded by sharks and new to the arena of politics. 2) I don’t call him a genius because we learned how bad those players are. He learned it too and it cost us all dearly. We need look no further than where we are today.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy. I donated more to him in two campaigns than I did to all other politicians in my lifetime combined. But I’ve learned that he is human and has his flaws. He was not playing chess while the rest of DC was playing checkers. He was learning in real time just as we did. He couldn’t figure out Barr or Pence until it was too late. Fauci as well. He has to do better this time but he has my support as long as he is willing.
No one knew the level of corruption in DC. No one. Not even you.
Exactly why I have stated countless times that I am eternally grateful to POTUS for the sacrifices he made that led to exposing the depth and breadth of corruption in our government.
Not sure why you’d infer I would have known.
Bessie….Thanks for hitting the nail on the head. The Donald knows how to get things done. However, he could use substantially more Congressional help, which I hope we’ll see in the mid-terms.
He looks good in the clips I’ve seen, but I do worry about his health.
With all the craziness that has transpired in the past year, I worry about an attempt on his life.
Trump switched from Democrat (had moved too far left for him) and then ran for president in 2000 on the Reform Party ticket. He won the California primary (they went first for the Reform Party) but dropped out shortly afterwards because the Reform Party was a mess ( a socialist splitter candidate that was a real loon ran that year) and Trump realized a 3rd party just couldn’t go up against the Uniparty machine politics. Media blackout, debate participation rules etc …. Reform Party was up against the same hurdles the Libertarian, Green, and Constitution parties face every election cycle. So Trump became a Republican.
It’s not so much the Reform Party, it’s really the fact that I’d want to make that if I ran and spent a lot of money I could actually win, I could beat that Democrat-Republican apparatus.”
“The Reform Party is a total mess! You have Buchanan, a right winger, and you have Fulani, a Communist, and they have merged…. I don’t know what you have!”
Presidential candidate Donald Trump 2000
Excellent post
Also he had to be a Democrat to get permits for his buildings in NYC.
If you live in a dem city, you give dem to get things done.
Well, at this point I am glad he stayed because the cause-and-effect was almost all being completely exposed.
As from here on out? He would win in a landslide if went rogue.
How about kicking the RINO’s out and taking back the Republican Party. And make IT the party of Trump. That would also get rid of the entrenched machine.
That would mean giving the boot to 99% of the current party members, that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.
The party is only as strong as its membership rolls.
My advice to all conservatives is to change voter registration to NPA, no party affiliation, and starve the beast.
if i may….
i think that’s the point of the article –
we can’t starve the RNC because the RNC isn’t us, it’s corporate and mega donors.
we can certainly make sure their private club never again gets a penny from us to add icing to their cake, but that’s about it.
they will continue on the path the big donors want to take,
and continue to run like minded candidates.
we can’t purge them from the club of their own making,
best we can do – as with PDJT – is overwhelm them at the ballot box.
hope this made sense as to your point.😁
Trump did many things I liked and supported.
He also made some really really terrible choices that cost all of us dearly.
His ego is a problem. Nuff’ said.
But he started a patriotic cauldron burning and for that I’m grateful.
I wish now he would simply rally the energy of the movement but forget about being the candidate.
FJB
the two party monopoly has a lock. the current reality is that you need to be one or the other to be elected president.
if this can change, it requires an effective long game strategy. it make take more than a decade that includes putting judges into place that rule against the monopoly.
I think he decided early on, when he saw how Ross Perot could not start a third party, that the only practical way is to infiltrate and rejuvenate the Republican party. He also realizes the huge cost and effort required to create a third party.
A third party is always loser proposal.
Remake the Republican Party into the envisioned America First Party. It won’t be done in one or two elections and we will always have to call out uniparty frauds, then work to remove.
The Dims didn’t just land in Communism in one or two elections. They didn’t just set up Unifrauds in one or two elections. They had the help of aids such a Epstein’s files, weaponized Alphabet groups, businesses, indoctrination centers, and their complete ownership of their Lapdog Media. None of it occurred in one or two elections but, by God, the Monsters got there.
The fastest route to winning and regaining our country is to remake the Republican Party. The Communist Dominoes will begin to fall one by one, rapidly.
I recall we battled all the Party alternatives here for several weeks and finally concluded remaking the Republican Party was the alternative that had the most probability of success. Right now it seems even MORE the right choice.
He needs their infrastructure … until his is complete … but before Trump did you really know how jacked up the Republican party was? I wasn’t … I had an inkling after the Tea Party fiasco… but the hatred and denigration of Maga by entrenched Uniparty Rinos was not laid bare until Trump arrived. Liz Cheney, Romney … tip of the iceberg
Sun Tzu quotes“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”
“who wishes to fight must first count the cost”
“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”
“When you surround an army, leave an outlet free. Do not press a desperate foe too hard.”
Trump may be playing some form of Sun Tzu.
Yet there are things he has done I cannot fathom.
When I think of Trump, I think of Moses. Perhaps because he makes reference to the promised land. After Moses led his people out of Egypt, they were harassed by the Amalekites. This is probably the bloodline of the democrats 🙂
Exodus 17:11-16 New Living Translation 11 As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage.
So, we had the democrats chasing us around with the vax. While we were being chased, Trump held up the vax! WTF? I can’t square that.
So far, you’ve offered NOTHING USEFUL.
Stop triggering Circular Firing Squads.
They don’t work … for Americans First.
The vaxxes being sh1t is not on President TRUMP’s shoulders. That is solely on the shoulders of the vax makers and the shith01es who app[roved the vaxxes.
perhaps truthsocial is step 1?
PDJT is a builder – he wouldn’t put up a structure without a foundation!😁
Trump is a realist. He can’t run independently and surely not as a Democrat. Having said that, Sundance’s quote is a good reminder for some, “Nothing within the business system of DC and club politics has anything to do with the constitutional framework of U.S. government.” It’s now really a choice between the lesser of two evils, each of which looks more like the other every day. DC is an ugly political & organized crime club. The citizens have allowed their Constitution and their individual rights to be politicked away with one bad choice after another resulting ultimately in today’s despotic DC establishment. The real question is, “Has it gone too far and is our way of life redeemable”?
As a political outsider like Trump, I would have chosen the same route if I wanted to be President. I think his message could have worked maybe 25-30 years ago in the Democrat Party, but in a post 9/11 world his policy stances were far more aligned with the Right.
The Dems were never going to let Trump be anything but a sideshow if he had run as a Dem, elite Dem alliances are far murkier and they would never go with an elderly white man in a post-Obama era. Biden was installed because he can safely take the fall for the coming crisis as a disposable puppet who doesn’t undermine their future candidates.
Starting a major third party is more or less impossible in the short run, Trump’s political chances would have been death by a thousand cuts overcoming the institutional inertia and fierce DNC/RNC resistance. He didn’t have decades left to build a trusted enough political brand while overcoming the natural forces which align against DC outsiders. If he did attempt going third party, you can bet more than half of his staffing would been Intel plants and Establishment hacks operating against him from within. Probably not much different than his Republican run, ha ha.
In summary, it’s a coldly calculated decision by 45. Trump would have never been allowed to get as far as he did running as a third party. Trump knows this, the RNC knows this, the Dems know this.
He would be the warm-up act, just like Bernie Sanders. Always a candidate, never a President. Bernie is in it to drive people to the left, and for the $$$. TRUMP had his own $$$.
Bernie was in on the sham from the beginning. Most Democrats running for president know their token runs are traded in for jobs and cash down the line.
He would not get elected under 3rd party. So pub it is. He just needs to be wise about the whole club thing. Not the same as a golf club.
Trump’s infatuation is … practical.
Our nation has functioned, pretty much, with just two political parties. When a strong third party has entered the arena, it serves merely as a spoiler for one or the other parties.
Most conservatives, likely Trump too, would prefer to cut ties with the RNC and create a new party.
The problem is that if/when we do that, we must accept that it will take approximately 6-8 years to replace the Republican party in Congress and State Legislatures.
Most are afraid to … risk giving the Democrat Party 6 years total control over Congress and most state legislatures. Many say: “well we need to bite the b* ullet sometime so let’s do it now.
The Dems are too dangerous. They really are off the reservation. Most are committed socialist ideologues. And most have already been successfully brainwashed.
So, the alternative is to work to rebuild the Republican Party with genuine patriots, committed to MAGA principles that ARE authentically patriotic American values and principles.
Besides, there is no guarantee that a new 3rd party would not also fall into corruption (possibly swiftly) via the same blackmail and bribery that has corrupted both the Dem and R parties.
The post civil war status quo is very tough to break. It’s like how people rarely change their favorite sports teams and their favorite sports rivalries.
Add to that the fact that people view the switching costs are too high. It’s easier to attempt to fix the broken thing you think you own than start anew.
Because he has the ability to reshape it. He knows a third party has no chance of ever emerging after what we saw happen to the TEA Party.
There is this YUUUGE advantage of running for president on one of the two major party tickets.
Donald Trump could not win at the head of a third party ticket, no matter the fantasies some may hold.
He would have 150 electoral college votes under such a scenario.
A hostile takeover of the Republican party is underway.
That is a good thing.
Ballot access issues in most states that exclusively cater to the two-party system is the big problem. And don’t expect either Dem or Repub state reps to ever address that–reform that which would hurt their party. Having said that, given the GOP is just a slower-acting poison that still kills the Republic, I’d be all for a third party, a Patriot party, that goes scorched earth on the GOP and destroys it. Still, there is no guarantee that such a party would not also eventually succumb to self-serving corruption more and more, given the fallen sinful nature of men. Hence why, ala George Washington’s concerns, perhaps parties themselves are a problem.
Trying to think like President Trump (don’t laugh) . . . .
How delicious it would be to turn the republican party into the Trump Maga Party! Watch the roaches scurry and scatter! WINNING!!!
Strategery. If Trump had campaigned as an independent, the resources of BOTH wings of the UniParty would have been wielded against him, as it was THEIR domain he was threatening.
By winning the Republican nomination, he tied up half of the UniParty’s money and resources which would have been used against him. No matter how much they distrusted him, as the Trojan Horse he was, to wreck havoc on their cozy DC setup, every Republican down-ballot needed to cooperate with Trump–at least, during the elections.
By metaphor, this is an intriguing military concept… a Trojan horse as sapper unit, delivered to the gate of (allegedly) your own city walls.
Post of the day, Bruzed Orange.
Trump was a lone fireman coming to rescue us from a burning house.
The RNC owned the fire trucks, the hoses, and the ladders.
Independent parties are like tiny buckets of water: good intentions but pretty much useless.
Until a new, large scale fire department can be built you use what’s at hand.
Well DONE, john.
President Trump’s a builder and developer.
He’s created the Trump Media & Technology Group as the General Contractor for the America First “faction” to lead a Republican Party Takeover with a well-conceived blueprint to Restructure its organs, systems, staffing and finances from the grassroots to their champions.
Here! Here!
If I was John Adams …
I’d give you a beer.
🍻
oooh, you said it so much better than i did up thread!
👍🏻 😁 👍🏻
Should Trump have run as a Libertarian? The two majors have a lock of the political process. Ron Paul also ran as a Republican.
An independent has little chance of being elected. This is why Trump latched on to the Republican party. The Republicans are certainly not perfect, but IMO they are better than the Dems. Our nation needs term limits. IMO most politicians have noble reasons for getting into politics, but the longer they keep their jobs, the more corrupt they become.
MGB. 😊 My dad owned a few of those when I was growing up… in British racing green.
you need to set concrete barriers in place before you can adjust your own pathway…..try driving on a highway outside the NJ barriers….that is what you ask when you THINK a successful 3rd party run is possible with the restrictions the R and D have erected
What is the Trump infatuation with being republican?
No infatuation at all. While the traditional republican party platform holds some things that are important to Trump, his affiliation with that club is a matter of convenience. In his earlier days he associated with the democrat party, as that’s what he had to do to grease the skids while doing back room dirty deal business in New York. When running for President he had to stay Republican as there was no way he could have beaten Clinton in the democrat primaries. Remember, she had already purchased the nomination before the race even began.
One possible solution would be to replace them with Conservative Truckers

Are you hearing me Canada? You now have the funds to replace the status quo with real people.
you could put a RANDOM 535 people in charge in DC and would not do worse, but likely far better than the current crowd…..not only are they corrupt, most lack common sense and reasoning ability by their own utterances
Nicely done 🖖
Big club, and we ain’t in it!
Pence is arguing that one man, the VP, should not be able to change an election outcome. That is double speak. No one asked him to change the outcome. He was asked to return the slates of electors to the state legislatures where two slates of electors were submitted. He isn’t that dumb, he is that crooked. If six state legislatures had to weigh what was done in each of their states, how is that one man changing the outcome? It is hundreds of elected representatives of the people constitutionally authorized to make that determination.
Pence was a veritable well of betrayal. Every one of his staff and personnel recommendations was a traitor and source for media leaks.
Actually, he was the one man that changed an election outcome by doing nothing. If I understand it correctly, it is a check and balance for the electors and he refused to be the check for them.
I’ve said the same thing plus the electoral count act was a legislative act not the Constitution. They could have tried to make an amendment but they didn’t.
John Eastman was on OANN a year ago explaining the potential paths that were laid out for Pence. From my recollection Pence was given 3 constitutionally sound options. According to Eastman the VP chose the most narrow. The interview was just a quick segment, not part of a special show. I had the tv on while I was cleaning the house, not paying attention. I only stopped to watch when I heard him introduced as specializing in constitutional law.
This is even better.

The Devil’s greatest trick is to convince people it doesn’t exist.
The GOP’s greatest trick is to convince people it does.
The GOP is just the rear guard of the left. It defends and makes permanent all leftist policies once passed. It sabotages conservatives from advancing their own policies. It nullifies conservative votes by making them meaningless and lately, by defrauding them at the ballot.
I disagree….Satan’s GREATEST trick is to convince people to worship anyone/thing but the TRUE God….Satan by default is the object of much of that worship intentionally or unintentionally
The “illusion of options” part reminds me of a Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton’s professor) quote:
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies… is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”
That’s about the shape of our political terrain. Relentlessly pursuing the political art of incrementalism.
Both Quigley and Clinton can be roommates in Hell. Quigley is already there.
PDJT is the most maltreated man of our age. He has become like Jesus to me. I even have his picture in my kitchen next to Pope John Paul II. My husband thinks it’s idolatrous — but I still think it’s the truth and his picture remains.
Many’s the house in Boston’s Irish Catholic neighborhoods that for years maintained one wall in the home bare of all decoration except portraits of Jesus and JFK.
Fair & Balanced taking sides? Say it isn’t so.
Real Newz media should never take sides. Thanks for reminding us who you are Faux. 😉
I actually did need this reminder. Thanks for that!
Hint Hint
If he had already been the candidate of opposition, truly supporting the Freedom Truckers, then he could have been out there at the protests pretending to be an opposition figure at least. I guess its just too cold outside.
Excellent post Sundance.
Important to remember that many organized Religions work exactly the same way.
They also are “private clubs” especially when it comes to their “leadership”.
Choose carefully.
Thank You Sundance.
Now for this. If 590% increase in HIV numbers go missing from his Letter. Then it’s just not Johnson, who wants it this way but the corporation?
https://www.ronjohnson.senate.gov/services/files/FB6DDD42-4755-4FDC-BEE9-50E402911E02
Anybody who didn’t read that letter needs to go soak their heads.
They are afraid, Dixie.
1) Businesses?
2) Rackets?
3) Both?
Open conspiracy
if they are private clubs –
what are membership dues? how are members admitted / blackballed
how do they qualify to collect political contributions legally
Fealty oaths of some sort I suspect.
Dark oaths.
Epstein-like oaths.
First rule of private clubs is never mention private clubs let alone their membership rules.
Sundance actually had a good post way back on “political families” or clans (think Bush or Romney). It is very insular and heavily networked. Outsiders do not join. They are invited once they are proven to be “one of them”.
“There is no Fraud Club.”
Oh yes there is it’s called/aka the DNC! Everything they do is a purposeful fraud! Every piece of their legislation is misnamed and does just the opposite! The Affordable Care Act made healthcare unaffordable, the Net Neutrality Act would be not be neutral it would discriminate against conservatives, the Freedom to Vote Act would enslaved us to one party control in perpetuity – the Democrat Party!
“The first rule of Fight Club:
There is no Fight Club.”
Same rule imposed by the “Fraud Club.”
Sorta like Corporate in DC with nationwide shops both club & franchisees.
Never gave it much mind.
More puppet strings that cannot be unseen.
Came for the fellowship & repartee’,
Consistently gain knowlegde & insight.
NOT ONE DIME
to RINOS or RNC
I keep getting asked in RNC texts if I’m now a Democrat since I’ve not contributed. Not one penny to the RNC!
JMO,
Unsubscribe…… that is what most MAGAs do.
I know it’s a foolish hope, but I wish Trump would take the RNC for all it’s worth while it makes sense, and then #walkaway and form a third party – officially unaffiliated with their clubs.
#pipedream
I unregistered myself as a Republican on January 6th when Mike Pence betrayed us all. I don’t know if I can vote ever again. I realize that’s what the Democrats want. I’m just sick of Politics and Politicians taking a wrecking ball to our country, enriching themselves, starting foreign wars, and interfering in our lives.
I did the same as you on 1/6, Born Free. I removed myself from the Republican Party to “No affiliation,” but I have re-registered as Republican to be able to help primary Marco Rubio!
Which is stopping just short of what I continuously say and frequently get bashed for…
Neither club is in your side, both clubs work in unison against you.
They can not be out voted and to believe otherwise is a foolishness.
Thank you Sundance, for such a well-written refresher course. I’m still wiping the cold water splash reality-check off my face.
Obviously, same in Canada, UK and elsewhere. Same biz model.
the difference in political parties from the perspective of a true populist
“They’ve got a set of Republican waiters on one side and a set of Democratic waiters on the other side, but no matter which set of waiters brings you the dish, the legislative grub is all prepared in the same Wall Street kitchen.”
— Huey Long campaign speech for the re-election of Senator Hattie Caraway (D-AR), 1932
Yeah saw and touched the bullet holes left from his assassination, many times growing up. The big club doesn’t F around and hasn’t for a very long time.
Every man a king. Was uniting Blacks & Whites so the marxists had to murder him. They need racial strife to advance their satanic criminal marxist conspiracy
MAGA bids fair to take over the R club and making it into
an entity that puts America First, and DEFENDS
the US Constitution for a change !
This is obvious, but still need so be said. Proudly,
and at the ballot box. President Trump has facilitated the most powerful
movement in history. And together with MAGA he has twice won, will run again, and will win
again. The Trump train is picking up passengers daily:
And November is going to be a game-changer.
If we live that long. The globalists are ratcheting up the pressure. I believe they will fail and I pray for the Lord’s intervention, but I don’t know how things are going to go. I’ll admit after the election being stolen in broad daylight by the coordinated clubs on both sides, then the January 6th set up, I’m pessimistic about anything positive coming out of November elections. Just being honest.
2 party monopoly on politics. antitrust?
they would never support antitrust investigation against themselves, but this is the issue. our politics is run by a monopoly that doesn’t offer a significant alternative.
Offer an alternative?
They’d murder any such in the crib.
Does anyone remember when Trump started his 2016 candidacy how the RNC demanded Trump swear allegiance to the winner of the GOP primaries? Trump hesitated briefly.
My thoughts are his natural instincts were again overturned by “advice” from people he trusted.
And as for that allegiance, we now have proof that it is a one way street. The GOP is free to betray the right but all within the GOP must be loyal to RINOs.
Of course we do. And many others who swore to it reneged on it when Candidate TRUMP won.
You have to ask yourself…………..
If you are heading to a street fight (i.e. the 2022/24 battle for Americans Freedom) why wouldn’t you want Mike Tyson (i.e. PT) on your side leading the charge?
Even if you don’t like Tyson (PT) personally, why wouldn’t you want him throwing punches for your side?
Is it because not only does Tyson have the power to knock out your opponent with one punch but maybe what the RINOS fear more is just how much possible illegal activity Tyson might also expose?
Staying out of jail might be job #1
This is not something that I had ever thought about, in relation to the political parties, much less understood. Thanks, Sundance, for the eye opener.
LIke the dog that didn’t bark, it seems there was a point Sundance didn’t make (I assume either for effect, or as grist for an upcoming article).
These antiquated institutions serve themselves. Their time is over now. Give directly to candidates you trust … anywhere/everywhere across the country.
Avoid anything that is centralized. Avoid Uniparty
Personally, I’m tired of getting mail from these poseurs. It is insulting.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit the “Unsubscribe” link on those emails! /smh
the world is run by monopolies. two party political monopoly.
remember obamacare. you basically got a couple choices, none significantly different, aka a market cartel.
govt is also a monopoly on use of force, legal theft, legal murder, war, counterfeiting, etc.
Rulers … Serfs … Ever was it so
“Representative Democracy” is a rubric used to fool us into believing that we matter
I just posted something on the open thread related to this….and then I come here and see SD’ s newest post…I must be channeling him, haha.
This is Whiteboard’s post and then I replied:
I think the Electoral Act adjustment has nothing to do with Pence’s betrayel and is more about adding another STEAL METHOD completely SEPERATE from what Pence could have done
anyone know what the trick is?
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/06/us/politics/electoral-count-act-overhaul.html
This was my reply:
I don’t know on this one but the Dems are implementing so many schemes to win the next two elections that it is hard to keep track. There is the redistricting scheme and then the attempt to block from eligibility to run for office for being insurrections..that’s right now my congressman Cawthorn…and I heard Matt Gaetz say that if they succeed , they will have a path to blocking Trump’s name from the NC ballot. But they a have a whole list of other congressman they will be going after also.
Then you have Pence working along side of these schemes to block Trump from being able to run again and the Republican Party going right along with it. I can’t figure out what the Republicans think they are going to get out of this? I am not so sure they will be winning in 2022 and if they don’t 2024 is also lost…I have no idea how or why they think the way they do…but the Dems are very evil schemers.
What are Repubs going to get out of this?
They can continue to rake in the dough as the out-of-power party
Sundance has pointed out multiple times that the GOP don’t care if they’re the in-power party or not
They still have their jobs and they still have their fundraising (read: graft) ability
Unless they’re the particular individuals who get voted out, it doesn’t matter to them as far as their party goes
And they know ahead of time whether their seat is secure or not, in general, based on past voting proportions in their state or district
I think your last paragraph is what @littleflower481 was alluding to. Maybe past voting proportions won’t cut it from now on. But then, that’s where the Dominion software algorithms come in, so yeah, doesn’t look like anyone is sweating the next election.
thanks for the reminder Sundance . a large part of me wishes we would have started a new party the day after the steal it was the day i left the republican party after 45 years. i do understand how much work it would be to start a new party HOWEVER can it be any harder than purging all the back stabbing RINO SCUM from the republican party ? at least with a new party it would have been 100% M A G A no traitorous scum in our ranks ! oh well i can dream cant i R.D.
Ottawa Police Issuing a Tyrannical Edict Which May End the Freedom Convoy

if all non-dems and non-globalists formed a new union-type construct that provided all the things people normally look to government for, we could decimate that current order.
easier said than done, but i say this for those of us inclined to think outside the box.
Excellent point Sundance and one that needs to be trumpeted from all the influential people in independent media. This is a point I never thought about and I am into politics and current events. The average Joe has completely no idea and needs to have their eyes opened. This is one of the main reasons the government at the federal, state, and local levels have fallen to corruption.
There are more of us than there are corporate donors. If we take over at the local levels and then start sending MAGA people up the chain, to state legislatures then to the House then to the Senate, we could oust the current establishment. Let the dems have the corporate donors. If the GOP started demonizing woke companies and going after them with legislation and in the courts, it would get a huge percentage of the working class vote across racial demographics.
I have tried to warn anyone who would listen for years now, that what we have devolved into is the Two Corporate System.
And none of us are shareholders. Chinless Mitch, Boener, Liz, Graham, Mitt all show us that we have no say in any matters.
Neither side cares who “wins,” as long as all of their snouts remain at the trough.
It is an ILLUSION.
This is why every incumbent MUST be primaried every election cycle to keep the business “in tune” with its base.
Excellent reminder, Sundance. Just like the Federal Reserve.
I no longer see the battle as Dem VS Repub, Left VS Right, Conservative VS Liberal. It’s Big Brother (BB) VS Regular Folk (RF)
BB = Fed Guv, Pentagon, Intel, Tech, Media (reg & social), Pharma, Corporate, Bank, Research, UN, World Bank, World Economic Forum, etal.
RF = just Americans wishing to live their lives, raise their families, in peace and prosperity
Good reminder.
At least since the clintons Americans (that is Americans who pay taxes and love freedom of speech) have been under attack from the RNC and Dnc and Lawfare and the DOJ and its departments and code pink and alinsky devotees, and educators and media of all types, and government workers of all types, and a legion of other forces of darkness. It is a wonder any of us still exist.
sure we had skunks like LBJ and FDR in the past but they were American skunks. (I do think skunks are cute and do not mean to disparage them but they can smell bad when scared) maybe I should compare lbj and fdr to hyenas or??
today and for the past 30 years at least we Americans feel we must not speak our minds, we must not discuss or raise certain topics such as the skin color and culture of those who smash and grab or those who kill each other in the big blue cities. the 14% of the US population who commit 90% of the crime. We must not mention the religion of those who flew planes into the twin towers and main their young women. We must not clean cities of druggie sidewalk poopers. We must look away as America is invaded with military age men (children) who are flown secretly all over our once happy land.
I look at (can’t help but see) the stinking, huge, obese, diseased “humans” in pajamas and flip flops supported by my taxes and wonder what makes such a society.
so, I just keep melting back into the beautiful trees. if one of my trees becomes unhealthy it becomes firewood. I admire the delicate wild flowers of early Spring. thank God for fresh air and water and health.
so I have conversations with God (at least I tell Him what I think) that go like this: ” God, Thy will be done if I can help let me know how. Thanks for letting me distance myself far from the stench of the towns and please take care of the fawns now being born.”
Is there Hope ?
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/02/05/axios-breitbart-news-readers-trumps-small-dollar-donors-steer-modern-gop-as-corporate-class-fades/
Fourteen of the top GOP consultants and operatives detail how the Republican Party has shifted away from the Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations, National Review, and economic libertarian groups toward Trump’s small-dollar donors, populist-nationalist outlets like Breitbart News, and Tucker Carlson.
These days, it is Trump’s voters, Breitbart News readers, and Carlson viewers that Republicans hope to win over in elections rather than seeking out corporate campaign contributions through endorsements from the Heritage Foundation, FreedomWorks, and the Senate Conservatives Fund.
Lets shitcan the Uniparty. I want an Unparty. No hierarchy leading us by the nose. 74- 80 million MAGA voters ARE a party. Add 60 million disaffected former democrats to that ands its bye bye Lucifers Lizard Children of the DNC/ RNC. Go get real jobs.
“Taxation without representation” was the rallying cry for the 1776 revolution. Our government was supposed to be of the people, by the people and for the people. Now we have taxation without representation, government of the special interests, by the special interests and for the special interests. I firmly believe any law that is passed should have a generational sunset clause of 20 years requiring a resubmittal, debate and new vote. This those of us who live in the present of voting age should have a say.
If we deal with our system as it is, we deduce that MAGA supporters need to take over the Republican clubs, at local, state and national levels. The 2022 elections, if not stolen, will show huge strength among the MAGA electorate. It is so much more appealing than the woke-leftist-cancel culture-anti-American alternative. Massive segments of the Democrat Party base – Black, Hispanic, union workers, blue-collar workers generally, are already disaffected, if not disgusted with the Dems.
Power corrupts goes the old saying. Power also attracts wealthy corrupters, of every stripe. The new Republican Party needs to stand against corruption, cancel the corrupters, if you will. Call them out. Pharma, USCoC, the other deep pocket employers of lobbyists. Every multinational corporation, every “scientist” every academic who has been corrupted by the CCP and the NWO. Shame those who take the money. Demand America First. Demand that our liberty be secured. Repeal counterproductive rules. Dismiss unnecessary government employees. Stop trying to be an Empire. Return to being the bastion of freedom.
https://precinctstrategy.com
See the graphic showing how 200,000 precinct chair positions remain unfilled. If filled with MAGA people, the party becomes 75 percent MAGA. Precinct chairs select the delegates.
RINOs don’t want us to know this.
I just posted something on this as well.
The RNCC called me the other day…they said it wasn’t for fund raising…I told the lady on the RECORDED LINE that that was the kind of lie I’ve come to expect from them.
She asked the stock questions, if I was pleased with the direction Pelosi and Schumer were taking the country.
I replied that that wouldn’t be taking place if it weren’t for McTurtle, Frank Luntz’s roommate and other GOP backstabbers.
I hope someone listens to that recording because I’m certain I spoke for a few million Americans.
Good take.
The Club doesnt want any outsiders looking at their cooked books. 30 Trillion in accumulated deficit debt. Wars to churn and wash money back to the connected.
This interview explains what the future may look like, it is quite bleek. INTERVIEW WITH ECONOMIC FORECASTER MARTIN ARMSTRONG – THE HIGH WIRE (bitchute.com)
I have never been a member of a party and never will
So what is one to do? I filed to be a state delegate to try to have some say in change at a local level, but one has to pick a party? Personally, I would just as soon eliminate both of them. I’m over the egregious lawlessness of one, and the apathetic nature towards the lawlessness of the other. God help us!
For both parties, the upper end of the party determines who will run and the local party tries to win elections. The locals are loyal to the national club because they get their money to operate from them. The local worker bees do not care who the candidate might be. They will check all of the boxes and do the ground game. It is their job to push the candidate over the top. However, if they are also enthusiastic they will work just a bit a harder. This is where enthusiasm creates winners.
Understanding this dynamic is important. A person must be a party loyal to get support in the primary and the people at the top try to pick them. However, if someone happens to knock off an insider at the primary level, the locals will still work for the party to win but the national leadership may dry up funds because it is they that are not enthusiastic. If you third party, there will be two candidates to run against in the general, a serious deficit.
Or, you can do as Trump did. You run as a third party using the organizational structure of the party for the ground work while the national people are cool to the effort. This requires a massive ground level support, but if you can build it, the local party will still work for you as they want to win no matter who the candidate is. The same dynamic works in lower races and both parties. AOC is there because she ran as an outsider to get the nomination and then the party got behind her when she was the candidate.
That is the key. We need people willing to work their butts off to build a ground game strong enough to oust incumbent baggage. In the general election, the national leadership may work against them, but the local party will do whatever it can.
And just like any club or business, if it slaps it clientel, the clientel will slap back.
In progress now.
It’s also good to remember that news organizations are businesses with their own agendas too.
While they would have us believe that they are unbiased altruistic watchdogs for society, the only thing they watch out for are threats to their own interests.
I agree whole heartedly with the 1st and 2nd points. But I can’t agree with the end. He certainly called it right that DC was a swamp but he even vastly underestimated how deep it was and remains.
However, I am eternally grateful to him for the sacrifices he made to expose us all to just how corrupt, criminal our government is. Sadly, in my view, he learned that lesson too with all of us watching.
I have to say, the Badgers are getting badgered.
Yesterday, the private club called the Sheboygan County Republican Party held their annual get-together. It didn’t go well for the Establishment politicians/ candidates running for office later this year.
“Sheboygan County Caucus Report:
They had 114 people in attendance. All but one person voted in favor of a resolution to admonish and demand Vos resign from the speaker position immediately.
It was a vote of no confidence. The only nay was Rep. Katsma (R-Oostburg). He said in front of everyone that he supported Vos, thought he was a brilliant strategist, blah blah blah. Needless to say it was not received well.
LeMahieu (State Senate Leadership) also got a cold shoulder. He had to ask people to clap. Few responded.
Kleefisch (establishment favorite for Governor) also got a cold response too.
…
There are now 4 Republican County orgs on record in the past couple of weeks calling specifically to Decertify the Nov 2020 election and/or remove Speaker Robin Vos from Assembly leadership…
This was after 50 + of these county orgs declared/resolved this past summer/fall to support thorough election audits / investigations of the Nov 2020 election and so far minimal response/activity from the “Republican” Legislature..
County caucus season is just getting started.
Oh yeah, there is a Hearing tomorrow morning in our Senate, with several election measures up for discussion. They have just been released within the past couple of days/weeks, so I don’t have a good read on them if good or bad…

Great Recap! Thank You!
One of the ways I try to keep up on Wisconsin politics is through Dan O’Donnell. Dan is an attorney and radio show host. And a very good one at that. He is the one who blew the whistle on the nursing home, elder care, disabled care, convalescent home voter thefts.

Where is Larry when we need him…TreeClimber (I’ve thought long and hard about this) if not a FED, is an RNC bot, Nikki Haley (def. a member of ~the club~) flavor. They latch onto the conservative tree house — in a different , convoluted and political way. I challenge TreeClimber to prove he / she / it is someone other than this. Thanks for the laughs and the memories! I love Conservative Tree House blog. !!!
