For years we’ve donated to local families in our neighborhood. You can find needy families through your church and the local school district.
We donate to a fund that purchases prom tickets, team jerseys and yearbooks for deserving students who can’t afford these extras. You can also reward students with gifts for college supplies and tuition endowments.
Many students go without meals over extended school breaks. With inflation and food shortages their situation will be bleak, along with the senior citizens.
Donating locally eliminates the middle man, waste and red tape, and you will see immediate results.
First thing one has to do it find out how much the COO of the organization is being paid. Why would I want to donate to someone who makes thousands of dollars more than I do? My last such donation was back in the 1970’s when I found out the head of the red cross made over $300,000 a year. Now I want to know more.
The heads of these charitable orgs drive Mercedes, kids go to ivy league colleges and most definitely don’t do their own yard work. Their salaries have to come from somewhere. YOU!

We worked very closely with GKTW when we had families that wanted to go to DW for their ‘dream’.

From my understanding, a marked difference between Catholics and Lutherans, in particular, is that Lutherans do not believe they require *any* intercessors, besides Jesus of course, between themselves and God.
Lutherans are not required to “confess” their sins to anyone except to God, and they don’t pray to the saints (although they believe in their existence).

‘Faithfully teaching’ is a bit of a stretch along with ‘omitting nothing’. I also wouldn’t be too proud of some of the popes! and the art of purchasing forgiveness is a good money maker.

I find I am obsessed. I question every death of a person who seems too young to die, as in this case. Fell asleep at the wheel? Texting? OR… was it a heart attack or brain clot from vaccine? This surprises me, since I felt my purchasing power was MUCH greater during the President Trump years. Prices for gas and groceries went down, sometimes by half as much, which was like getting a raise. Houses in my area were about half of what they are going for now. And good jobs were coming back here in the rust belt. So I’m a little stunned that it doesn’t even register on this graph.

After a year of brushing off inflation as temporary, while inflation spread deeper and further into the economy, and got worse month after month, the Fed is finally talking about tightening. But so far, it’s just talking about it. It’s still repressing short-term interest rates to near 0% – with the effective federal funds rate, which the Fed targets with its interest rate policy, at 0.08%. And the Fed is still printing money hand-over-fist, though at a slightly slower rate than two months ago.
We have been lulled into dismissing the debt clock because the fears about it haven’t taken place. Just like we brushed aside that this country could ever become socialist or worse. But this FED crossed the rubicon when they ‘printed’ $ 9 trillion dollars and the government shot the money out of cannon to their friends etc. The debt increased by the $ 9 trillion and no one funded the debt by buying bonds. The FED which as no source of earned dollars ‘bought’ the debt. Add this to the race to collapse the country.
I read somewhere that if our debt exceeded $26-28 Trillion it would become “unable to be serviced” or “irretrievable” because of the interest payments or something, that was before the $9 Trillion.

Yesterday I had lunch with a friend who works at another company in town. The topic of the jab mandates came up and we both agreed it would not pass the court’s scrutiny. It is blatantly unconstitutional.
That then flowed into the right of businesses to still enforce their own mandates. They can, but in the current battle for labor it is just isn’t worth it to cut out such a large portion of the labor pool in our area. We also agreed that even testing would be disastrous. Number one, there are not enough tests. Number two, people will be testing during work hours further diminishing productivity. If a business requires a shot or a test, nobody is going to sacrifice non business hours to be tested.
If you think supply chains are awful now, unnecessarily forcing productivity loss will make it even worse.
Living in the middle of the Dark Blue State of Washington (which was once beautiful and sane) most businesses are not pushing mandates BUT, the State itself, along with Leftists leaning cities and counties are doing so.
Since they are funded by the taxpayers, most of whom they do not listen to anyway, they can get away with it, although the quality of their employees continues to decline, as anyone who has had to deal with them knows all too well…

I think this is even worse than it appears. I was talking to a uber-educated progressive friend yesterday and we were in one of those rare moments of strange agreement. It was actually something that came up on Tucker Carlson (Glenn Greenwald related), so I told him he should watch more of Tucker. He told me he could not because his cable/media package was designed to exclude Fox News… and he was proud of it, almost bragging that none of his subscription money would go to those he politically opposed.

So, what he has done is deliberately locked himself in a bubble. And not to criticize religion here, but if you are a Catholic with some serous problem and completely limit yourself to material only from the Vatican you are likely going to have a very difficult time. The answers to the questions my friend is asking are simply not available in the media he is consuming… and as a result he has to accept wildly improbable things, like: the 2016 election was lost because Trump colluded with Putin, Jan 6th was an insurrection and over half the country is racist.
In his world, the one he has locked himself into, there simply are no other answers.
So, by this exclusion mechanism, progressivism is like a highly unintellectual dogmatic religion or cult. IMHO

MAGA Voters Need Organization
MAGA voters need an independent action group. We need this to ensure we have a group we can count on that won’t sell out American citizens and our Constitution.
Yes, lots of Washington lobbying groups already talk this way. Their long history of failure and secret RINO agendas mean we can’t trust them, ever.
A MAGA group needs to be built from the ground up, without money or guidance of those who wish to trick us into voting for RINOs.
The launching of Trump’s Truth Social gives MAGA voters an opportunity to create online MAGA voter groups. Other conservative websites should also be utilized.
Trump’s Truth Social should attract the most attention. We should take advantage of such an opportunity. I will, having never signed up for Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, or any other such service.
I’m sure there exist many localized groups of mostly MAGA voters on the internet. This could be the basis for declaring an organized group that can reach out to other groups.
MAGA organization is vital. We need to stop relying on others, like Republicans, for the actions we hope will happen.
We already post on conservative forums. It’s no great leap to convert that activity into simple, defined, groups.
But, we also infiltrate GOP county activities so we can take the GOP away from RINOs. Imagine the joy of knocking them out, one by one.
The Ohio Supreme Court narrowly rejected (one RINO judge joined the DEMS – sound familiar?) a redistricting plan from the Republican-controlled legislature.

They have allowed you to be locked in your homes, (forced) business(es) to shut down, and now mandatory magic elixirs are required to hold a job and soon, to buy groceries. And they do nothing. Congressman Bob Good (R-VA) is criticizing several of his GOP colleagues who recently anonymously told The Hill that the Virginia representative was condemned by fellow Republicans after he suggested boycotting the popular conservative social spot, The Capitol Hill Club, due to its compliance with Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser’s COVID-19 vaccine passport mandate.
The Hill claims that Congressman Ken Calvert (R-CA) and Jeff Duncan (R-SC) pushed back against Good and said the club was only following city orders
“For some, there’s a mentality of ‘burn the house down,’” one anonymous GOP member privy to the conversation told the D.C.-based website. “The majority of the conference was in the camp of you need to protect the club.”
“My constituents want to know that I am fighting vaccine mandates at every level. In an attempt to paint me in a bad light with the political elites and donor class in Washington, the anonymous leaker inadvertently revealed that some DC insiders are encouraging compliance with mandates, while they claim to their constituents back home that they are here in DC fighting for healthcare freedom,” Good said in an email.
