(VIA ABC) […] Federal Aviation Administration is warning of staffing issues of its own, such as sick air traffic controllers. In addition, the FAA warned on Thursday that weather, holiday traffic and COVID-19 “are likely to result in some travel delays in the coming days.”
“Like the rest of the U.S. population, an increased number of FAA employees have tested positive for COVID-19,” the FAA said in a statement. “To maintain safety, traffic volume at some facilities could be reduced, which might result in delays during busy periods.” (read more)

When the masking and vaxing became required of customers and the airline employees I decided no more flying. I am not going to spend hundreds of dollars to be treated like a herded animal.
In a few months, my bride and I will spend 3 days driving to western Texas. We will see some states we have never been in. We are making the visit into a tour, and giving our middle finger to the Federal Gubmint and the airline industry at the same time.
I used to fly multiple times a year. I doubt I will ever get on an airplane again.

I wouldn’t fly if I had to. I am in awe that the sheep of America still subject themselves to this idiocy. Searches, fees, outrageous costs and taxes, rental autos, hotels, cancellations, lines, crammed in like sardines, overbooked flights, late arrivals.
