So far from the articles I remember, New York, Maine, Michigan and now Wisconsin have publicly asked (Wisconsins Evers sounds like he’s begging) for medical teams to be deployed from FEMA or the DOD to their states to help with medical care.
Of course, every article I have read suggests they are overwhelmed with cases…NOT that these nitwits fired any medical staff they had.
Delta was supposed to be more mild than the previous version, and MORONIC is even less of an issue, so I am not sure where these severe cases overwhelming hospitals are coming from.
On a side note, an employee at work has tested positive for COVID. Fully vaccinated. The only other case was very early on in the pandemic, and he had the sniffles.
My working theory on the hospital situations:
Corona being seasonal, it is now cold in all the named affected states so the virus is strongly circulating again. People are in the hospitals because they are not offered any medications that could mitigate the symptoms and therefore prevent cases becoming severe and needing hospitalization.
Many of these states have fired their nurses and doctors that refused the shot.
So I believe it is a combination of cases on the rise, not treated until hospitalization is needed, and staff shortages.
In the case of Maine, the hospital workers took their case to the Supreme Court but it was not chosen for a full court hearing.
Unlike other parts of the country, so far in the Northeast we are not having luck in the courts.
Several coworkers of mine had covid, got vaccinated, and have had covid again. My brother in law, vaccinated, subsequently experienced a pretty serious case – if not for regeneron he would have been hospitalized as he progressed to pneumonia.
All of this is known and yet the powers that be continue on pretending the vaccinated cannot get covid, natural immunity is not a thing, and that the unvaccinated are the cause of all the problems.
We must break through the programming.

When the food is served, dump the plate into the blender, pour in the Root Beer (or Michelob Ultra, or Tab, or whatever), and give that a good 20-30 seconds on purée. Fill the empty beer glass with your puréed entrée. Next, feed one end of the flexible plastic tubing through the bottom of the mask and into your mouth, put the other end into the beer glass, and enjoy. The sound of the blender will have already gotten everyone’s attention.

Just got back from running errands. There are happy, unmasked people out and about. No one should get flu shots. They are a marketing ploy. You body makes antibodies to the first flu you encounter as a child. That’s set for life. my Mom and I went for her cardiologist visit back in May and he really, really thought my Mom should get it (in May she was 92, turned 93 in September) – she was so beautiful and logical and soft-spoken, ladylike – she explained how she was feeling pretty good these days and didn’t want to mess up any time that dear God had left for her, it wasn’t that she didn’t “believe in” vaccines – all three of her children had their vaccines – besides, she has hibernated since March 5, 2020, except for doctor visits which she had to have.
Plus, we think we had this thing in 2018 for two and a half months: Mom and I as well as her friend who was recuperating from a heart valve operation (she is now 100). Then in 2019-2020 then we were truly in the epicenter for our area, in the hospital and nursing homes where the first two known cases were – we didn’t get it.
