The cinematic effort by ABC here is, excuse the pun, likely to backfire. It’s just perverse, twisted and creepy, considering that someone died.
Whoever gave Baldwin the advice to do this was just playing to his own vanity. The one thing regular Americans can detect better than all other nations of people is fake efforts at authenticity. That reality has been the Achilles heel of professional con-artists and leftists for decades; and thankfully, most people have retained that instinct.

down with a few facts. Then I changed to subject by asking her how her little dog was
doing. She spent a half hour entertaining/boring us with how his barking was annoying
her neighbors.
This is the group he is aiming to influence. Now it will be, “Poor Alec Baldwin”.
It’s actually quite reassuring from a film crew’s point of view. The number of elementary safety steps ignored here boggles the mind.

Off subject, but… totally agree on Yellowstone. We barely watch 1 or 2 movies a year anymore, and no TV, because the fakery, the horrible writing, the social engineering are unbearably impossible to ignore. Even things we used to like now are come across just awful. It’s like they say – once you see the strings, it is impossible to unsee them. Loved the first season of Yellowstone. It was fantastic. The second season went downhill in a hurry, so we only preview the third – and that was all we needed to see. How can an awesome show turn into such garbage seemingly overnight?
