On International Travel: DON’T DO IT
It’s really not very complicated: Until and unless the panic porn crap stops, on a decisive basis for several years, do not cross national boundaries. You can get stuck there with no reasonable way forward or out that does not involve utterly ridiculous expenditure.
Generally-speaking traveling internationally, no matter the mode (e.g. including cruises) involves non-refundable expenses that you put up on a forward basis, whether it be airline tickets, hotel reservations, cruise reservations and event tickets of various sorts. There has always been risk in this; you might break your leg, get seriously ill and not be able to travel, etc.
But Covid-19 has turned this into a minefield, with utterly no way to predict when you’re going to get screwed out of your money at the demand of tin-pot jackwads like Fauci, Biden or their international equivalents with no warning or reason, when you get down to it.
If this new “variant” is such a terror then instantaneous locking of the borders is reasonable. A several-day delay is not, which means we’re talking politics here, not health. Never mind the often-months-long planning delay involved in such trips; you plan them months or even years in advance and who knows what sort of restriction(s) will be imposed between now and then.
It’s unpredictable and makes the risk of your trip being screwed — with you eating the expense of a trip no longer able to be taken — unacceptably high.

Ask the Aussies who were caught out abroad when the first lockdown took effect. Supposed to be for a short time. Over a year later, they still couldn’t return home.
I was (am) one of those Aussies. Although I live in Canada, I always go back to Aus for several months each year to spend time with my family. I haven’t been able to get back for nearly 2 years. I still can’t because I refuse the jab.
Both the Canadian and Australian government are basically holding me hostage and demanding that I choose between my family or my future health. Its reprehensible what they’ve done.
You have no idea how sorry I am for you. I am from the bottom of my heart as sad for you as I can be. And to be stuck in Canada.
This aspect of the hideousness of this inhuman exercise is perhaps almost as bad as the death jab itself. Destruction of all that was our peace and comfort. That’s all these monsters know. Destroying and salting the earth after.
They say they are not forcing you, but in reality are taking away everything until you “make the right choice”.
I know there is no comfort for you with my comment.

As I have not ceded my life, my bodily autonomy or my soul to the evil this is, I understand that neither will you. It’s painful, but if you gave in, they would only move those goalposts. Under the living conditions currently in Australia, I’d choose never to return home and would consider myself lucky to have escaped.
Peace – it isn’t quite that simple. All of Australia is not as bad as we see here. But more importantly, those people who were caught overseas ran into real problems. There was a girl here (I’m in Canada) who ended up living in a car because she couldn’t get back home to Aus. Remember that they were mostly on either tourist visas or short-term working holiday visas. Once they expired they were no longer permitted to work. They’re not citizens or residents of the country they happened to be in when the Aus border closed.
There was a guy over in Alberta who was notified by the Aus government that he managed to get a seat on a repatriation flight out of the US. So he packed up, went to Calgary airport where US immigration took HOURS to process him. So long, in fact, that he missed the connection to his flight. Repatriation flights were few and far between and with tens of thousands of Aussies on the list there was no way he’d get another seat. So now he was stuck in the US where the max he could stay was 90 days and no way of earning an income. The Canadian government eventually agreed to let him back into Canada but he still wasn’t able to earn an income – but at least there he had some friends he could stay with.
That’s just one of many, many horror stories. There are approx. one million expat Australians living around the world. That’s a million people who were essentially prevented by the government from visiting their family or returning to their homeland.
And no, despite what was happening in various parts of Australia, no government anywhere in the world would accept an “asylum” claim from an Australian.
And to think if that guy over in Alberta could somehow get to Mexico and then illegally cross the US Border, he would be welcomed with open arms and given all the help he would want.
I know right!
Can try crossing into Montana or Idaho and see what happens.
With a little luck he’ll get deported to Australia.

I started with the shock of their announcement, then tried to extrapolate what that announcement, in fact, would mean for those so affected. Every thread I pulled got more and more tangled. The situation more dire. And finally my righteous hatred for those who dictated it came to boiling. The stress, worry, and misery which has been inflicted is overwhelming I know.
Another shame on Canada for not extending these folk permission to continue to work as long as they are stuck here.

The same reasoning applies to the scheduled discontinuation of the PCR test (covid “diagnostic”) on December 31. They announced last summer that it was not considered dependable and that its use would be discontinued on December 31, 2021.

I don’t but Eisenman’s main point, that James was the sect’s Teacher of Righteousness, but the rest is fascinating.

The Geza Vermeer translation has problems, including the omission of a key passage relating to a Messiah.
Eisenman does a good job of dissecting translation issues, and gives his sources in the main text.
I learned the huge difficulty of understanding old societies from written texts. We simply don’t know enough to understand context and nuance.
The Dead Sea scrolls are in the original language of the sect, not second, third, or more languages removed. Biases were their present day views, not later copyist’s interpretation and insertions.

Just one chapter into Robert Kennedy’s new book about Fauci and my heart is breaking. The evil of these people knows literally no limit. I don’t ever compare people to Hitler, but with Fauci I’ll make an exception. But whereas Hitler was obvious in his actions, Fauci flies under the radar. But the carnage will be on the same scale. A new study shows that vaccinated adults in the UK are dying two times the rate of the unvaccinated from COVID.

The brown line represents weekly deaths from all causes of vaccinated people 10-59, per 100,000 people. The blue line represents weekly deaths from all causes of unvaccinated people per 100,000 in the same age range.
The conclusion — Vaccinated people under 60 are twice as likely to die as unvaccinated people. And overall deaths in Britain are running well above normal. I don’t know how to explain this.
