I do like one of the authors’ thoughts: that it’s not strictly necessary to take the fight to the perpetrators. “All” we need do is not to give way to whatever is coming & make it to spring. I’m not completely convinced though, because I fear that an absolute majority will go along with Plan B.

There was no accusation of rape by her father only a mention that she took what “probably were inappropriate showers” with him.
I recall my mother being shocked when our neighbor, to whom she was close, cavalierly mentioned that her two young kids, a girl and a boy, took showers with their father, her husband. I believe when this was said, the son was probably about 5 or 6 and the daughter 3 or 4.
I think my mother didn’t realize this practice varies from American family to family. The neighbor assured my mother that the little girl would not be taking showers with her dad as she got older.
A friend who is a flight attendant has spent a lot of time in France.
Her friends there who are regularly and comfortably in the nude in their household – yes, with children – has made her realize that Americans are far more modest.

It’s early for this type of speculation, but I suspect Rick Scott is penciled for the 2024 GOP Ticket in a major role. I liked him allot early, soured some over time but now will look at the whole person. There are no perfect choices any more and waiting for the perfect choice likely yields another Romney or JoeBama.
He has a decent voting record, he has a pretty good following, he is a smart guy but admittedly he has disappointed a few of us on occasion. He is a very practical thinking politician.
Others can think “up or down” support as they like for people like Scott but at this point it is worth looking hard at everybody with an open mind. Even President Trump takes an unpopular view and courses of action on occasion.

I’m not old, although there are some rougher days then others. I’m healthy, as trained as I can be, will is strong, and resolve hardened.
I don’t want to fight, but I’m not scared to bleed. If death and destruction is all that stands between liberty and the abyss, then let’s make it rain hell on this place! We will not go quiet into that bloody collectivist terrible night. Soft targets first then on to the more hardened ones as their defenses fall. We will suffer grave losses, but what cost is too great as to purchase freedom from slavery? I know I won’t live to see old age, and have said as much to those I talk to. I was not placed here, in this time as God would have it, to be meek in the face of tyranny.
Anyone that believes this price could be paid without heavy losses needs to rectify reality with their perception.
