People should be aware that many older phones that work today will NOT after February 4th. Your carrier might have alerted you. There are some 3 year old phones that are not on some carrier “white lists”. I use a BlackBerry Q10 and my previous carrier, who I left in August ’21, was AT&T. AT&T was re-routing any call I made on a work day to AT&T itself and would force me to interact with a live rep who would treat me like a child. If I hung up, my next call went directly to AT&T! I was told AT&T would “repair” my phone and let me use my phone again once I let the rep finish his interrogation and lecture. Being a prepaid customer I did manage to interject that I would never pay for another month after this treatment. I didn’t.
My Pinephone is connecting 4G no probs and the modem is user replaceable should I need to upgrade. I’ll be using and upgraded phone by then anyway.

My cellphone doesn’t leave the kitchen. Email is not setup. Voicemail is not setup. Every app and tool that can be turned off is off. The contacts file is empty. It has a chip that I can remove and replace. It’s job is to let me know if someone called, kinda like the phones I grew up with.
I only carry my phone when I walk each morning for exercise. I don’t call people on it unless our electricity in the house goes off and no phone service . I never load anything they suggest. My main thing is to take photos with it.
The photos on your phone do not belong to you. As soon as you take a photo with your phone it’s sent off to the cloud where anyone that knows what they are doing can access them.

One problem with ‘our side’ is that all too few of us understand how powerful memes are. The Left understands how powerful ‘language’ is and use that to their advantage but they also are weak in the memes department which is even more powerful that language (and by that I mean re-interpreting words to mean something else and using slurs against opponents). We have some young conservatives who get the meme thing though and should work to make sure they have more access to the general public. The combat boots I had “back in the day” would provide no cushioning whatsoever. Protect your feet, ankles, knees, hips and back. Don’t wear Nikes, but wear something more cushioned than what I was issued over thirty years ago. Current boots may be a bit better.

Walk a lot. Do proper physical therapy. There is no substitute for core strength. But have a physical therapist show you the way to do it without causing further injury.
You have to do something for yourself with exercise EVERY DAY. If you let up, you pay. Speaking from experience here.
