Polls are open from 6am to 7pm ET today in Virginia, as a very closely watched governors race plays out on election day. The Glenn Youngkin (R) -vs- Terry McAuliffe (D) race is being monitored by party insiders, consultants and media pundits who have all proclaimed the Virginia election as a national referendum.
CTH has been cautioning against reading too much into the Virginia race because historically this is where the DC club insiders like to construct their narratives. Additionally, over the past decade the club operatives have changed election laws and party rules to make top down control much more effective. Voters in the commonwealth face an uphill battle to overcome a multitude of election tricks and techniques intended to tip the voting scales in favor of club control officers.

What happened here in VA, we had a really popular Republican governor back around 2012. The 4th branch needed to run the state because of so many DC operatives living in the north end. They drummed up a silly scandal about the R governor accepting gifts as bribes. DOJ pressed criminal charges. They used it to demoralize Republicans. Democrats won a landslide in 2014. McAuliffe was governor then. For a Senate seat, the D won that race by less than 20k votes. Nobody demanded a recount.
With the state now stacked with Ds, they got to work fixing things in their favor. In the midterms in 2018, there was a huge new crowd of Democrat women, funded by Soros, who came out of nowhere, and they started scooping up elections. Then they went right to work passing hard leftist legislation in the state capital.
Virginia has an online portal for voters where it shows your voter record. I can go there and see my voting history for the whole time I’ve been here. It clocked all my votes. Until 2020. In that election, mysteriously my vote was never put in the system. Thousands of others noticed the same thing. Our votes were simply gone. We complained, and we got bad excuses for it. The GOP didn’t give a crap. Nobody did a single about it.
I moved to FL in 2018 to get away from the corruption that is VA. After the R’s deserted Cuccinelli when he was surging, I called it quits on VA R’s. I’d called it quits on the national R’s a long time before that.
People from outside the state who browbeat us to vote R don’t know what they’re asking.

1. Were those ballots entered in the scanners already? If so, McAulliffe knows how many more votes he needs. He can get them via mail-in ballots… OR
2. Where are all these already cast ballots stored? They are nameless. Just need to switch out those ballots for fraud ballots and change the computer tallies.

Yes, the early votes are counted ahead of time, to give the Ds a look into where they are. Empty ballots are stored, with a list of home addresses of empty houses, ineligible voters, etc. Once the computer software tells them how many ballots to add, they use the list of empty houses to fill out new ballots.

About 2/3rds of the State uses ES&S. Dominion is used by the rest but believe it or not, ES&S is used in most Dem strongholds. (Disclaimer: I don’t know the level of foul play with ES&S machines)

I live in Rockbridge County (Lexington area). We organized Republican poll watchers in every precinct – a first. Turnout today is strong for an off year election. Roughly 20-25% of voters voted early or Absentee. Total turnout in our area should exceed 50%.

In NW NJ we had to scan our licenses in a machine to make sure they were valid. I asked if illegals with driver’s licenses were allowed to vote. They had no answer for that. Illegals were allowed to get driver’s licenses. Even still a miracle could happen and get Murphy out. He will mandate jabs for kids 5-11 once the CDC okays it. The FDA already approved it. The insanity continues.
Check your cellphones for unusual WiFi networks in the parking lot and record their names, and then again in the polling place while standing in line and also in the privacy booths. If you find any new WiFi networks that dont belong, email your county and state board of elections, and ask them to investigate.

I’ve been living in VA for 5 years but this is the first time I’m voting in the commonwealth. I had no issues at my polling station, pens were provided not sharpies. Registration marks on the ballots were aligned appropriately. No lines, not hysterics.
No one in my neck of the woods (Henrico County, just west of Richmond) has reported any issues so far. However, our congressional race saw the Republican defeated after +10k votes were “found” on a thumb drive allegedly misidentified as provisional ballots a few days after the election.
According to a Youngkin campaign worker the campaign has already begun requesting chain of custody documentation for early/absentee ballots, has twice as many poll watchers as the 2020 election and is expressing concerns around unattended drop boxes in NOVA.
Expect the heavily Democratic counties to deliver their results sometime after the rest of the state reports so they know how many ballots are needed.
Those are old tactics they may not proved to be as profitable now that we all know, but we see.
Virginia outcome will tell us a lot about where we really stand in view of our future.
I think you’re dead on. I raised that issue with a rep from the campaign. Poll watchers will not catch the box stuffing enabled by mail in voting….. which is why we have main in voting.
There were 2 options when I voted–one with a “preballot” that printed your ballot and you could see the hardcopy, which you then ran through the scanner/counter. The other method was traditional mark you put on the ballot.
I did the first option.
The problem is you can vote on a machine and have i display what who you voted for BUT behid the scenes and in the code, it’s programmng 101, to siphon off votes for the opposing party regardless of what the screen displays.
Ground report from Georgia: possible beta testing of vote fraud. Went to vote in the municipal elections in my small community. In line in front of me was a person that can be best described as a local ‘civil rights’ kingpin. He was being held up because the system was saying he had already voted. The poll workers were scrambling around, figuring out how to override it and let him vote anyway, which they did. There was only a vote on a local sales tax option, but if such activity were a planned operation, it could have been to see how to game the system during the mid-terms and governor’s race in 2022. Believe me, this guy is the kind who’d be in on such an operation. He probably knows Stacy Abrams personally.
Generally, a provisional ballot is issued and counted only if the law permits it.
He definitely voted at the voting machine next to me, and with assistance from the poll workers. I don’t know if a provisional ballot was involved. In Georgia, we’ve got the Dominion system where you print your ballot off and put it in the scanner yourself. I specifically heard them say his ID was showing he’d already voted.
Looks like a law violation to me. I’d report it and ask for a report number.
I emailed my county registrar about it. I’ve dealt with her before, and she was very cooperative.
Update: registrar said they ‘cancelled his first voter card’ and issued a new one. He was only allowed to vote once.

There is an old Greek adage that says “one never realizes how much they valued something until you nearly lost it.” Republicans must never fall asleep again on these local issues.
I can’t help wondering if that is why McAwful is going so far off the rails promoting the idea that the state owns your children and parents have no rights. If he can win with voter fraud, it shows that “most people” supported his ideas. If they lose, their lunatic progressive base will be manipulated into thinking these are the high brow ideas they need to embrace to separate themselves from the dirty, stinky, Trump people.

I am in Loudoun County and voted shortly before Noon today. It was raining, so that’s one thing to consider. Rain tends to suppress turnout for the less enthusiastic voters, which in this case clearly are the Dems.
That said, my polling station was deserted. I was the only person in there when I cast my vote.
Virginians had 45 days to vote in-person + the mail-in ballots. Today’s turnout is mostly irrelevant.
The radio (WMAL) said that approximately 1 million of 5 million registered voters did the early voting.

My prediction:
— Massive vote fraud by the Democrats produces a decisive win for McAuliffe.
— McAuliffe is quickly announced by the MSM as the winner
— Many, many incidents of vote fraud are reported.
— Youngkin refuses to concede and his legal team quickly goes into action.
— Democrats in Congress use the McAuliffe ‘win’ as a lever to push their spending bills.
— Merrick Garland claims that the DOJ and the FBI have seen no evidence of vote fraud in Virginia.
— The DOJ threatens legal action against those who claim that vote fraud occurred and who are actively opposing the installation of McAuliffe.
— The legal battle over who will be governor continues for several months.
IMHO, who becomes governor in Virginia cannot be predicted until the legal battles get closer to playing themselves out.

I’ve lived in Virginia all my life. Been voting for 22 years. The VA GOP was essentially a dead organization for the last ten years or so. A group known as The Virginia Project pushed hard to get all 100 delegate seats to have an R on the ballot. They got 99, which is a first! Those guys deserve major credit for pushing hard on the VA GOP and national GOP to take the race seriously. They have and have a ton of volunteers and attorneys ready to go.
My polling place in western Chesterfield which is a heavy R precinct has got a GOP booth, no Dem booth which is a little unusual but not unheard of. About 20% early turnout and steady E-Day turnout. I’m cautiously optimistic about governor and praying for miracles on Lt Gov and AG as well as flipping the House of Delegates back which was supermajority R only four years ago.
Oh to piggyback on VA GOP being serious, this election was the first and only election in my lifetime of voting that I ever got a call from someone to remind me to vote for GOP candidates. Astounding work VA Project!!

Maybe one of the treads should be all the steps we have EACH taken in our communities or otherwise to move the needle back to normalcy. I moved to FL after 60 years in CT, new job, new industry, alone, away from my cats and daughters with no significant other. Need to work until 68 at least financially. Attended my daughter’s wedding 3 weeks ago in Chicago as the only unvaccinated person with my sister out of 139 guests. It was tough to stand that ground especially with my daughter who desperately wanted me vaccinated. Anyway, let’s share ideas and stay positive and have faith, not fear.

I voted at 1:00 pm. in the Hampton Roads area. I was #690. Pretty steady flow of traffic. The GOP yard signs were all over. The new guy running for the GOP House seat was there and greeted me.
My home for 29 years. Thankfully I left the year before McAwful was elected and now I have the Best. Governor. Ever where I live.
As of 1:30, 405 of just over 8800 possible voters had voted in my precinct. The local Democrat council member was out with about four people but was promoting himself not any up ticket Democrats as technically our council members can’t run as a anything but independent. There were no Dems out which they usually are in my very Democrat precinct.
I did get a visitor around noon at my house reminding me to go vote. Did not mention party or candidates but assumed she was a local Democrat.
I am a MN resident but stay at my sons house in Virginia Beach half the year. I was outside on Saturday and a guy came up to the house to remind me to vote. I told him there is a Democrat and a republican inside, and thank God my son is the republican!!! The man who stopped by was with the republican party, God love him!!
I remember visiting my brother in Virginia some years back. He lived in Reston right outside of Washington DC which is a cesspool of leftist democrats. In fact, that part of Virginia is pretty much a bedroom community for DC bureaucrats and thousands of DC government workers. These people will vote for big government and guaranteed paychecks. Big government is their answer to America’s woes. Just ask them. They also believe American citizens should become subordinate to their political beliefs. Don’t expect too much from this election. Even a failed president and failed administration is not reason for these people to vote otherwise. Low information voters are a huge problem for a true Republic.

Voted about 7:30 am in southside VA. More voters than usual for a midterm, but less than presidential. For a presidential election, I would say the voters I see when I vote are split about 50/50 black and white. Today it was predominantly white.
My thought is many African American voters are as turned off by what is going on in the schools but are not ready to vote Republican so are just not voting at all. I did hear that Younkin was polling about 8 points higher with African Americans than Trump did in the last election, so that will be a big tell. Someone switching Parties is a 2 vote swing.
Blacks are turned off by the pressure to get the vax also.

Many Blacks are seeing how evil the Democrats can be because the Vax mandate opened their eyes. I know what it was like when Bush opened my eyes to his evil.

I dont think they can steal enough. There is no telling how many dissatisfied democrats will vote for Youngkin. Republicans will repeat efforts relatively from presidential election. If even 10% of dems switch it is beyond the margin. Additionally, some of those dems that switch could be polling workers and election officials so the motivation to cheat will also be lower.
I think Youngkin wins and the margin is kept narrow to imply it could have gone either way.

I voted at 7:05 this morning. I was the 24th person to vote in my small precinct. My wife drove back from North Carolina an hour and a half to vote and then turned back around to return. (She’s watching the grandkids)
Enthusiasm in the area is measured by me talking to folks as well as looking at signs. I’d say it’s huge. Many, many more signs for Youngkin than McAwful. Like a Presidential race. I don’t think most Dems are motivated.

Voted in a small town ten miles from Charlottesville, VA at nine this morning. Light rain and cold. Only a few people going in or out of the polling area. My wife and I and one or two others were voting. Presented my drivers license. Had to give my full name, address out loud and got a ballot. I was given a pen to use to mark the ballot which I placed in the machine to be counted. I had the impression that turn out was very light for this very liberal area.
Light for the dems because they know they won. Why go out into the wet and cold if the machines are going to cast everyone’s votes the way the machines have been rigged to do? If I were a dem, I’d stay snug, warm, and dry too.
This election in Virginia should be won by the GOP with no problems but as we all know the cheat is on and thus hopes of victory will be slim.

For years I was unable to vote in my locale precinct. I voted via absentee ballot. Either I would go downtown to vote, or I would do it by mail. The law was, the ballot was due in by the times the polls close.
Last year I noticed a new ticker across the election results. Ballots are due in by noon Friday. Not post marked. DROPPED OFF.

Don’t believe me? Use the contact page and call them. Ask them when is the latest you can drop off your absentee ballot. I called last year on Thursday. They said Friday at noon. I said, where do I drop it off?
Interesting note – I can’t find anywhere that the General Assembly changed this law. From what I did find, only the state legislators can change the law. Who changed it, and why is it election week now?

And the dems here in VA sued the USPS for not delivering 300,000 ballots “on time”. Not sure where that stands-I read it last week on gatewaypundit.com

Signed up to be a poll watcher for the RPV – completed training and showed up to designated location – the RPV failed to provide “official letter of authorization” – I and others were turned away –
So I hope you contacted your RPV and told them what happened, got the official letter of authorization and did your polling job, rather than just blow off steam here and stay at home.
I’ve worked polls for many years; all kinds of games are played all the time…don’t be a sucker…get your letter and get back to the your local poll to monitor the possible cheating.

NoVA – Fairfax. Solid turnout. Normally I vote early, but aniticipating the crunch, went in at around noon. Lines still out the door. Moving quickly, though.
Remember as the daylight recedes so does the rule of law. Then it’s on to McAwful’s segregated classrooms. Black teachers for black kids. Black teachers for white kids.
I note with great sadness how many posts from people who assume, possibly correctly, that no matter what happens the Democrats will steal this election for McAwful.
If the Democrats don’t steal the election, it won’t be for lack of trying.

Probably most of them are here to depress turn-out, which is a waste of time considering how fired up voters are.
Waiting for my 18 year old son to get home from football practice so we can go vote together in Reston. My husband went this morning and said there was no line (most people in our area probably did early voting). In the last election only two precincts (of 14) in Reston went for Trump (somehow mine was one of them – so there must be some closet conservatives in our neighborhood).
Hope all is well. Talked to a liberal. He wasn’t feeling great about Mcauliffe. I was like isn’t Youngkin the type of Republican you guys wish would run. I posted on another article to watch the 66 district. It is a gerrymandered district that barely stayed red last time. If it holds it is a very good night. The 27th was won by the Republican by .1 if they hold it will be a good night. Then look to the 63. This is a Dem district. They should win if the republicans run close it is a good night.
Consider that ANYWHERE Democrats are election fraud is occurring unabated.
There’s another way to look at this.
Some people are only willing to break laws when they are highly motivated to do so. The reports are numerous that Democrat voters are not all that motivated and state level politics are often seen as unimportant.
(Interestingly, under this COVID crap, state and local level politics are actually quite critical to the nation! Even if the others states aren’t as free, the people in those not-free states can see what is happening in free states and demand to be free as well! This is why they kept pressing Trump early on to establish national policy standards for all! He wouldn’t do it, of course…)
Rural southwest VA, typically solidly red – Despite a fair amount of early voting in our area, my voting location had a steady stream of people while I was there, which I take as a good sign. Fingers crossed…
Here’s an opinion: Terry “self-hating anti-white racist” McGrifter needs to drop out of the governor race today, relinquish his U.S. citizenship, and emigrate to central Africa to spend the rest of his life going from village-to-village begging every black person’s forgiveness he meets for being born white. One of my friends that is a insider on the VA gov race just got the call from the Roanoke GOP chair and said Roanoke county, one of the last Republican suburban counties, is already at 100% of 2017.
At least as of the moment lol stand by for count decreases.
Anyway vote late and vote big make the cheaters have to work for it!!

All the indications are that this is going to be a fairly high-turnout election. People are far more engaged than 2017.
I live in SE Virginia and Just voted less than an hour ago. Voting was light, I’ve seen it a lot more crowded in the past, but it was early afternoon.
Don’t know about the rest of the state, but I had to hand them a photo ID (driver’s license) and still state my name and address. not sure the purpose if you have an ID. Quick thought as I stood there: everyone, both the poll workers and voters, were wearing masks. this at least potentially opens another avenue for voter fraud or manipulation since they can’t really compare your face with the photo ID (more than likely not, but suspicious about everything these days).
Another pessimistic, suspicious thought:
I voted for Youngkin today, but fully expect him to lose. I’ve watched too many recent elections where the Republican is in the lead (sometimes it seemed comfortably) only to wake up and find out they lost after the NOVA votes came in. I never understood why or how at the time, but it’s pretty clear what was happening after the 2020 election and I don’t expect the Lib/Progs to back off an inch.
We’re also voting for State delegates. Even if Youngkin wins, I’m sure they’re counting on “influencing” any state house races to keep the Dem majority, and that’s probably really their goal right now.

I voted on Friday at our local library. Steve Bannon on his warroom show incorrectly stated that morning that VA does not require ID.
He was wrong.
He’s right but wrong at the same time. You can vote a provisional ballot only and must then produce an ID by the end of the week at the registrar’s office in order for it to be counted. Dems changed the law last year.
