The fact that their letter was so poorly conceived makes it even more embarrassing for Garland that he so easily took the bait and overreacted to their overreaction.
The letter was coordinated with the White House(Obama? Susan Rice?) as was the Attorney General’s proclamation. Soon ABC, NBC etc will blame white supremacist Republicans.
It’s not “taking the bait” when you already believe that it takes a village to raise children, and that the parent of the child is the enemy of state indoctrination. The parents are regressive to your progressive policies, therefore they must be removed from the equation.

Regardless, the Garland DOJ should have responded that their request was inappropriate and that local authorities are better equipped to police threats against local groups, including school boards. That was something else I did not understand. Teachers. principals, nurses, counselors, and everyone who works for the school are Mandatory Reporters.
By law they are required to report abuse or neglect of anyone in their “care” under the age of 18, even if it is only a suspicion. It is not their job to make the determination.
AND, it is not up to just one person to report, it is up to EVERYONE who suspects the abuse. They can do it separately or as a group, but it is required by law. And no governor can supercede this mandatory reporting requirement with mere words on a piece of paper.
There is a hotline for that, one in every state, and it should have been used post haste. There are online forms too, but that would not apply to sexual abuse. That must be reported immediately via the hotline. I would subpoena those records for this state and school as well as the other school involved.
BTW, this is exactly why Californica changed their laws to reduce the age of consent. This is exactly who they want to protect, not the children in their temporary care. Coming soon to a state near you.

If these arrogant bureaucrats think that they are the leading advocate for public education they are working without tools. It is the parents of the students, the taxpayers that employ them that are the LEADING ADVOCATES and it is their input that should be heeded above all others, especially the parents that care enough to attend School Board meeting to offer their perspective on the operation of schools and the curriculum being taught at the local level. If anyone should be investigated by the FBI/ DOJ it is the NSBA or whomever is responsible for decisions to institute education methodologies that deny history and designing a system that lessens the importance of the most basic forms of education, namely reading, writing and arithmetic. It is the NASB that is responsible for the removal of prayer and patriotism from OUR schools. OUR schools should not and must not be involved in social engineering. I have never attended a School Board meeting, but as a parent, you can bet your sweet “tookus” that I will attend each and every one from this day forward and if there are things discussed that I take issue with I will not be silenced. These people need to be watched closely as I believe they are all complicate in the effort to subvert our children and turn them into compliant consumers that will do as they are instructed, without questioning the authority.

We have people in our school district that were threatened and abused by not only the school board, but by the superintendent himself, after feeling justified and emboldened to do whatever they wanted to concerned citizens who dared to speak up for the health, safety and well-being of children attending their schools.
I held a sign up while walking down to the front of the auditorium that read, “We are in an abusive relationship with our school board!”
I held it up again when I left, while the masked sheep (teachers who were attending the meeting in solidarity with the school board) sat quietly in their seats. Passed one sheep who baaahhhed at me, ‘No we aren’t’, to which I started to laugh and said, ‘You’re the abuser.’

On a positive note – an apology in writing carries legal weight. If any parent is accused and investigated for being a domestic terrorist for being angry and shouting at a school board meeting, it’s a perfect defense.
It’s always important to distinguish between real threats like what recently happened to Matt Gaetz and the bogus ones meant to intimidate free speech. Which authority (local, state, or federal) handles any threat is a different matter.
I for one am glad to hear that many red state school boards pulled out of this KABAL of domestic violent extremists. That would have been my 1st move if I had a child in school. This means that they are “helping” push certain school boards to select those candidates who align with their “values.” This is all about equity as listed in their programs. CRT starts there. One of the biggest, biggest, biggest reasons why Superintendants are the most overpaid
individuals you would ever care to find.
They also have a sixth sense in locating persons from school districts that
have godawful reputations, and polishing the turd. The way that is achieved is
by making it appear that they were “crusaders” against what was making the
schools be so badly ran. Which, basically, boiled down to everyone in the front
office was on the take.
Once these superintendants are firmly in place, they often wreak havoc.
One local municipal school district used head hunters for their superintendent,
and the woman was such a routinely despised, race baiting harridan that they
wound up paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy out her contract.
Dekalb County, GA predictably had a similar circumstance. A buy out
for big bucks. The person in question’s resume was radioactive.
3 of the school systems that they guy had worked for either had been so
poorly mismanaged that they either had the state take them over, or had
their accredidation yanked, or under advisory status. He had been middle
management in most of them, but the sheer skill he had in finding
schools systems that were absolute shit storms should have been the warning.

That was a real apology. I’d like to know who specifically were the authors of that letter. They should be fired. With the number of children being removed from public education, there should be a lot of backtracking and apologies going on. I love it that our truly grassroots movement to take our country back is having great success. However, the public schools have lost the majority of public support.
