They trusted their government to advise them before those areas would no longer be secure. This morning I ran into a type of word called a Contranym. It is a word that can be used to describe opposites. The one that jumped out at me was Transparent as you remember obama kept using it over and over.
Transparent: Once you recognize the two opposite meanings of this word, you can’t unsee it. Transparent can refer to something that is completely see-through, or even invisible, such as a glass window. Yet it can also refer to something plainly obvious, like a piece of salacious news or a key fact. It’s so obvious that it’s transparent.
Kinda like Obama just saying the border situation was “unsustainable” ?
Some hear: “We cannot keep doing this”
His fellow travelers hear: “If we keep this up we can finally break this country”

I was just talking about the new definitions they make up for old words, and how most people don’t even notice.
I never knew about contranyms.
I bet attorneys have to understand that, at least good ones.
A little tangent comment.
While going on long drives I’ve been listening to books on tape. Books that are in the public domain, out of copyright. Most are more than 75 year and older. Some of the words and phrases they used then have evolved to mean something totally different. Sherlock Holmes “knocked up” Dr Watson. “knocked up” meant to knock on someones door and wake them up. They did a lot of ejaculating back then too. Ejaculate meant to “Bring Forth” as in Sherlock Holmes would ejaculate a hypothesis based on the facts and not on assumptions.
Words evolve over time but the way they are being twisted today is not evolution.

VAERS is known to materially under-report adverse events. We do not know what the multiplication factor for these findings is as a consequence of that.
Note that in the context of all prior years this basically never happens statistically. The average over the three previous years associated with any vaccination is four.
Further, an extraordinary level of cardiac adverse events are associated with these jabs. This is not uncommon or “rare” as claimed; there are in fact, as of July 9th, nearly 130,000 such reports for Covid-19 jabs. If we accept the CDC’s numbers for the number of Americans jabbed this puts the rate of cardiac adverse events are right around one in a hundred!
What’s nasty is that while the myocarditis incidence is skewed heavily toward males under 30 the cardiac incidence is not; it is centered in the 20-70 range, or roughly “right up the middle” for the people in the nation as a whole.
Indeed, given the known under-reporting in VAERS a 1-in-100 incidence for a category of serious adverse events is extraordinarily significant. There is every reason to believe we may be causing cardiac injury to as many as one in 25 people who get these shots!
Whether those injuries spontaneously resolve without permanent compromise or worse, degenerate progression is completely unknown as nobody is following up these individual cases to measure blood levels (e.g. troponins, EKGs, etc.) in an attempt to determine whether these events are transient or result in permanent impairment or worse.

Quinnipiac has Biden approval at 38%. RealClearPolitics shows the Quinipicac results at 40% approval. I went and looked at the Q poll data and can’t find anywhere that RCP could have gotten 40%.
I disagree with the RCP methodology as being statistically meaningful in any way, but I thought what the heck at least they are just publishing the results of their meaningless analysis. No harm done, as it should still show overall trends.
Then over time I noticed they would consitently hold off on updating good polls for Trump until they had an offsetting bad poll like Reuters. Now they appear to be downright manipulating the results.
Isn’t the RCP poll just an average of all the polls?
