The Left is banking on our mutual loathing because it’s all they’ve got. They have no achievements, no plan, not even a basic understanding of the challenges that face the country and the world. This was the gamble Biden made with his venomous speech last Thursday, when he announced his intention to conscript business owners and make them bully hesitant workers into being vaccinated against COVID-19. This obscene decree was accompanied by a harangue against “the unvaccinated.” 

“We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin,” the President spat at tens of millions of American citizens, as if he were their governess and not their employee. “We’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers.” Never mind that this statement is practically an advertisement against the effectiveness of the vaccine. It is above all an invitation to pure spite. 

Biden was relying on a significant portion of the electorate not only to accept his unlawful edict, but to cheer it on gleefully. He desperately needed a win, having presided over a truly shameful retreat from Afghanistan. His callous nonchalance about this catastrophe made clear that he has no intention of making amends or taking accountability. He just wants to make it go away.

Informed Consent – It’s Your Right

I am at the end of my rope and asking for advice.

I truly believe my health problems from the Gulf War would make it dangerous for me to take the COVID shot. Today I was informed I will be fired unless I get the shot, or get a medical exemption letter.

I have contacted doctors offices in CO, AZ, TX, UT, WV and CA today trying to find anyone willing to review my medical records and make a determination.

So far, nobody is willing to do so, and one doctors office told me his license is threatened and being heavily scrutinized because of previous letters he has provided to others.

The people pushing this are the most evil I have ever seen.

COVID-19 revealed what fools we have made of ourselves.

The coronavirus pandemic has exposed as fundamentally deficient the longstanding view of the technocratic Left that we would all be better off if experts held more power. On a whole raft of subjects, we have been told to sit down, shut up, and “believe the science.” For many, technical expertise has taken on a quasi-religious character.

In short, attempting to deal with the coronavirus pandemic by centralizing decision-making power in public health experts was not unlike trying to design an airplane by consulting only experts in wings. We did not need “the experts,” narrowly conceived. We needed many, many experts representing a broad range of opinions in public health, economics, psychology, sociology, education, health care broadly understood, constitutional law, politics, and fiscal policy. What we then needed most of all were generalists (we might have once called them statesmen) with the willingness to listen to the experts—all of them—and the authority and the willingness to then put them in their place, exercising prudence and good judgment in the pursuit of necessary tradeoffs.

The tyrannical potential of this arrangement should be obvious. It has, in some recent cases, been demonstrated. The more committed we are to the doctrine that experts must always be given deference, the more vulnerable we are to this manipulation. The improvident elevation of expertise turns on its head the wisdom of the Founders, who were deeply wary of man’s intrinsic desire for power and committed to dividing power in order to frustrate such designs. It is no exaggeration to say that government wielded either directly by unchecked experts or by politicians using experts for cover is simply inconsistent with both consent of the governed and the protection of fundamental rights. The best rule in a republic is not deference to expertise. It is respect for expertise, but deference to no one.

It is too early to tell what the long-term political or policy effects of the coronavirus crisis will be. It seems likely, however, that millions of Americans have now noticed the limits and perils of government by expertise. If that is true, it may be the one unanticipated consequence of the national lockdown that will benefit us all. If it is not true or, worse, if it is true but it doesn’t matter because we have gone too far down this road for consent of the governed to regain its supremacy even when the populace is awakened, we may have two other tragedies to mourn: the end of hope for prudent public policy, and the death of republican government in all but name.

9/22/2020 – In response to the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Pelosi threatened to impeach (for the second time in a year) President Trump for carrying out his duty under the Constitution to nominate a justice to fill the vacancy. When pressed on what grounds she has to move forward, the speaker was shockingly coy, offering only that “we have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now.”

Two weeks ago, she signaled in a letter to House Democrats that she will wage a full-blown war on election results if Trump wins in November, arguing Republicans are trying to steal the election . Given that she still hasn’t accepted the results of the 2016 election, that isn’t surprising. And if we allow her to stay in power, she’ll undoubtedly join her friend Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in his campaign to “pack the courts” and do away with the Senate filibuster entirely.

How is the recall “called” when in person votes haven’t been counted and not all precincts have reported?

It used to be that the Democrats were adept at getting a couple thousand more votes than the Republicans. When people started to catch on to that, they decided to make the numbers so overwhelming that no one could debate the result. Even this is not enough. Now they have to federalize elections putting corrupt DC in charge of states rights.

Confessions of an old military/civilian cop!

In light of all the activities of the “Left/Progressives” and many other groups seemingly bent on destroying everything cops and soldiers have/are ‘supposedly’ spent/spending their careers and in far too many cases giving/gave their lives defending, can you guess which of the following lessons learned were first presented to the public in 1989 by a soldier following 26 years in the army and in his third year as a civilian police chief?

A Soldier/Cop’s Lessons Learned

*Soldiers (ground combat soldiers, that is) do not fight first and foremost for their country, the flag, motherhood, girls back home, nor apple pie! Before all else, soldiers engaged in ground combat fight for their fellow soldiers and their unit. Why? Because in every war/police action/whatever including WWII the strategies and tactics adopted by mostly incompetent/corrupt military and civilian managers (notice I said mangers not leaders) were designed to maximize the profits of the military/industrial/political complex with little regard for the those personnel charged with employing the same.

* The Seven C’s of Leadership according to a survey of 1646 Vietnam era ground combat veterans listed of the order of their importance (according to the vets) were; Candor, Competence, Consistency, Commitment, Courage, Compassion, and Courtesy. The reason the soldiers in the survey chose the word “candor” is because to them candor encompasses both omission and co-mission. To a combat soldier lack of absolute candor, be it co-mission or omission, are equal sins! In short, soldiers expect/demand absolute candor from their leaders before all else. Note: The democrats have proven they are masters of co-mission, while republicans have proven they are masters of omission!

* The American people are the most effectively lied to people in modern times thanks primarily to politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, and the media.

* Arrogance coupled with ignorance equals stupidity.

* The greatest threats to the American people are the corrupt and/or incompetent politicians/bureaucrats/academicians found at every level of government/academia, and the majority of the American so-called media.

* Most of the politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, and media types I have encountered during my years as a soldier/cop I most kindly refer to as; self-serving, witless, cowards. Note: I originally refereed to the aforementioned folks as; “Self-serving, witless, cowardly, pissants!” After retiring to the deep woods I dropped pissants once becoming acquainted with the little fellows in that I learned that pissants are not self-serving nor witless, and certainly not cowards!

* The American Profession of Arms and our brothers/sisters in the Blue have failed to protect the American people from all of their enemies, both foreign and ‘most especially’ domestic.

* There are only two primary requirements to be a career soldier and/or cop in America. One must be smart enough to do the work and dumb enough to take the job.

* American soldiers and police officers must in addition to mastering all of their professionally mandated tasks learn to accomplish the same with at least one arm tied behind their backs and their vision impaired 50% or more.

* After carefully watching the whole of the political class since May of 1960, I can say without reservation that most of the group will sell their souls and our bodies just to remain in power.

* Want to see what the United States of America will look like if the left takes control of the government? Take your pick, New York City, Baltimore, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or the complete packages; California, New York, Illinois, etc, etc, etc…..

* If the so-called Progressive movement continues unchecked a number of able veterans are going to be presented with a challenge/decision. Are the American people worth another drop of our sweat and/or our blood?

* The end goal of the elites of this world is not (nor ever has been) socialism, communism, or capitalism. The elites of world have used all manner of ideologies, religions, terrorism, brute force, etc. to drive the masses/peasants/serfs/whatever in one direction. That direction leads to one of the oldest forms of human control ever employed in the history of mankind. That form of human control is, Feudalism!

NOTES REGARDING the CA Recall:

IN Orange County there were very few voting sites, perhaps 2 per city of 110,000-180,000 people.

Went out early this evening and the local site was swarming with people trying to find parking and a line of more than 100 waiting to get in and cast a ballot. These were people with a purpose.

I suspect there may still be folks waiting to vote, as if you are in line by 8PM they have to accommodate you. Anyway, I see this as voter suppression, as the local conservatives have been casting in person votes, while the left uses the vote by mail.

As for the count, the early result was 100% mail-in (Lefty) votes, and they have been adding the “vote center” votes since then at a rate of about 2% of total registered voters per half hour.

The first drop (39% of voters counted) had Newsom winning 58%-42%, with Larry Elder taking 51% of the second question.
As of the 6th drop, (49% turnout/counted), the gap has narrowed significantly -52.5% no vs 47.5% yes and Elder is up to 58% with the next guy, a Dem at 8% . (no more drops for 18hrs).

My drop-box ballot of this eve. is still not entered in the count). The drop box was manned and was indoors, and would only accept 1 ballot at a time). And I can see online when it’s logged in and when it is counted.

Note, all CA counties do whatever they want within certain parameters, so this may not be a standard.

I hope this trend is playing out across the state, and that the early call of Newsom win becomes egg on his face.

My takeaway, is that even if Gavin persists, Larry Elder has gained a strong mandate to run in 2022 for Governor, and the rest of the GOP should rally around him and work for a strong victory. I also am certain that significant fraud took place, and also suspect that the watchers have been watching. Once AZ drops all hell should break loose here as well.
