Running the two weakest candidates any major party ever ran for president and vice president was part of the Democrat’s strategic plan. It would lull the Trump campaign into believing that Biden/Harris were easily beaten. Once Biden and Harris were installed, then they could be easily manipulated.
The Democrats knew they had 65 million (+/-) sure votes from the committed Democrat rank and file base, regardless of who they put up in 2020. Independents who didn’t like Trump’s style, regardless of his achievements, might deliver another four to six million votes.
They could then steal another 10 to 11 million votes thus giving the illusion that Biden had won in both the Electoral College and in the popular vote; i.e, they could claim he had a strong mandate from the voters to quickly reverse Trump’s policies.
It was, and still remains, a brilliantly executed strategy. The Democrats and their GOPe fellow travelers remain highly confident they can survive the current push for election audits.
The next test for this strategy is the California recall election. If the Democrats can get away with stealing that one, then they can be highly confident they will prevail in 2022 regardless of how angry the voters are with them.

I am skeptical that this is a bigger distraction for things such as the 3.5 trillion dollar infrastructure bill, Maricopa County election audit, or even HB1. None of this has happened by accident and or stupidity this is well thought out deception and we the American people are going to pay dearly for this.
IMO, the BIGGEST, most *easily* understandable f*ckup of this whole thing is the decision to shut down Bagram AF Base just a month before withdrawing.
