As much as I enjoy seeing Blithering Biden finally being fully exposed,I am concerned that this administration is not capable of defending our country if we are attacked. Neither are the Washington Generals.
Exactly. Bottom line, we are as vulnerable as it gets now and it’s freaking terrifying. And for all the talk about how young men shouldn’t join the military, um, we do need to be able to defend ourselves. What a mess on every level. The left destroys everything in its path.
I have feared for some time the CCP would take advantage of Joe’s weakness and attack Taiwan. Taiwan is a beacon of light in Asia next to the darkness that comes from China. I would hate to lose Taiwan, they are good people. If our real President, President Trump were in command, I think it is far less likely the CCP would make a play for Taiwan, but with Joe? What’s to stop them?
Earlier this year, there were reports of about 40,000 Chinese troops “training in the wilderness” in Canada. I recall this was confirmed by Trudeau. This should concern us as well.
IIRC, they were not far from Washington state.
Is “defending Taiwan” a vital U.S. interest? I would say no if it means a nuclear war with China. But the generals will tell you that Taiwan helps prevent China’s submarines with nuclear bombs from entering the west Pacific’s deep water, which will post nuclear deterrence against U.S. We live in dangerous times.
Like Japan in WWII, China most likely understands it can’t win a war with the U.S. and China will be broken up into several independent countries if it starts a war with the U.S. and its allies, e.g., Japan.
Do not underestimate how.much China and Japan absolutely hate each other.

When I had the discussion with my doctor the other day and told him I was taking zinc and vitamin D and if I get covid I will add Hydroxy. He said that studies have show that Hydroxy does not work. I told him those studies were designed to fail and why. He then admits that he knows the studies were designed to fail!

When I asked what the covid protocol was May 2020 she said Tylenol and 14 day quarantine. I upped my C and D3. I asked again June 2021 and got the same answer so I added Zinc and Quercetin and made contact with AFD to make sure they were for real. Oh, and switched back to a great doctor I had in the past before the in-network insurance made the choice for me.
Anyhow, turning off TV, going about my life surrounded by like-minded people, supporting the mom and pop shops, joining my German branch of the family in their anti-shot stance and spreading the fact there are prophylactic measures for covid and life saving drugs if administered early and correctly (something our government and media fail to do) has gotten me through in less panic then a lot of people. Thank you God. For Sarah and bertdilbert – I have all the co-morbidities including being old and fat except my heart. My heart is still good.

I’m a little annoyed at the seemingly shallow conclusions about what Afghanistan means in terms of Success or Failure. 1st off – it can’t be reduced down that far — to an Either/Or. But people talk about it like it’s an Abject Failure…
What’s going on right now fits that description – in spades. But overall…?
2nd – I wish I could force every person who is talking on this subject to —- 1st — Define what Success would have looked like — and be realistic… If you say Afghanistan should have been a stable nation-state with thriving economy + full participation within the global community’s bodies like the OECD —– I can shut the door in your face to not waste my time.

— The Soviets were there for a decade + lost 14,000 people.
For a nation the size of the USSR — that sure seems like a small number to me…

Next, I’d have to do a heck of a lot more reading, but having lived in the time of both wars — I’d say – a general rule of thumb is —— the US/UN was far more successful in — maintaining relative stability in the key major cities in different parts of the country…

Another example in this ball park: Soon after 9/11, the US/UN gave the Taliban an ultimatum: Hand over Bin Laden + other key leaders + break up the terror training camps or face the full weight of an American Invasion.
This happened in what is said to be the 1st time the Taliban “ruled virtually the whole country” as the Northern Alliance was on the way out….
So – did the head of state make a decision on it? Did an Afghan Congress pass a law about it? Did a “central government” make the decision?
No. As I remember it — per Afghan cultural/historical norms, they gathered together a strongmen from around the country and debated it and formed a consensus. — They used Tribal Methods – not a central government backed by the rule of law….
So, how much Unity should we have expected the US/UN to achieve the past 20 years….?

Now for a little reality. The Afghans have been the primary ground fighting force since 2014 per General Keane. In that time they have lost over 50,000. The difference here is that the current administration stopped the air support-since May which allowed the Taliban to advance.

Again? Isn’t this the second time? I remember distinctly right as we were in the throes of the pandemic he and either Paxton or Patrick were positive at the same time! I thought it was just a ruse to shut us up and take the shutdown like good little commies. By the next day, the news disappeared. I wouldn’t trust this at all, could be a forced vax coming!
He tested Positive with the test that can’t identify ‘covid’ from any other piece of protein that looks like a virus? Or did he test positive because the vaccine gave him thousands of copies of mRNA?
What test is he using? It says he tests daily. Seems like any test done daily would eventually yield a false positive unless its perfect. Maybe I’m wrong. Just seems stupid to test daily to me.
Just curious, but I wonder if anyone has looked at the VA Medical system with respect to COVID treatment and inpatient survival rate. Is anyone aware of such a study? I’m a disabled veteran and I’ve used the VA system off and on for forty years+. There are good doctors there, but they are few and far between. Most are marginal at best. But you frequently don’t see a doctor, you see a medical student. If you’re not very lucky, you get one with little clinical experience.

In addition to noting the usual indescribable nature of the assailant apparently due to PC priorities, ask yourself the likelihood of this being a repeat offender previously involved with violence. Ask yourself if curtailing the free movement of repeat offenders of such a nature would be in the best interest of society.
