Rand Paul talks a good talk but he could have forced the Senate into recess at ANY time from 2018-2020 and he didn’t do it! He deferred to Cocaine Mitch and refused to allow the President to make ANY recess appointments and who knows how different our country might look right now if he had done it!
Until he addresses that issue, and publicly apologizes for it, I will continue to believe that he is another Darrell Issa, Trey Gowdy, Miss Linda, etc “All sound and fury” Republicans, who signify NOTHING!!

Rand Paul talks a good talk but he could have forced the Senate into recess at ANY time from 2018-2020 and he didn’t do it! He deferred to Cocaine Mitch and refused to allow the President to make ANY recess appointments and who knows how different our country might look right now if he had done it!

My take: President Trumps Realpolitik calculus included knowing that after each House Impeachment by the Democrats, Mitch was in charge of whether President Trump was removed and replaced by Swamp Embed Pence or not. If Trump was removed he could NEVER run for or hold any federal office.

Did you miss the quotes around “real killer”? The case, from a purely legal standpoint was an unmitigated disaster and Marcia Clark was an idiot of a prosecutor. 4. in an era where one size fits all, it’s probably wise to make room for politicians who are good enough..this idea that everyone has to be trump, or desantisn is foolish…it will take generations to create a new party of maga…in the meantime, you USE the people who are most likely to contribute to the cause…that would include rand Paul…not perfect…does not have to be..only needs to be useful.

Your analysis is flawed and reminds of the Never-trumper/RINO rhetoric we got before Trump. “We need a big tent” “We have to get the big donors” “We have to reach out to moderates and minorites”. Steele, Romney, McCain, etc. were peddling that loser strategy. Paul needs to get on Team MAGA, and if he won’t then we should replace him. And that’s true of all of them.
