I went to a family party in WI over 4th of July. One of my daughters, vaxed and from Chicago, was sick with a cough. The day after I got home I had the cough as well. It’s a weird experience traveling now. We left Myrtle Beach yesterday heading home. Despite all the signs, virtually nobody was wearing a mask to include all law enforcement and airport employees.
As people approached the TSA counter, they put a mask on at the last second, and took it off once through Security.
Southwest still threatens passengers with prosecution for failing to obey the law. They talk about it incessantly despite nobody wearing them at the gate.
I arrived in Atlanta shortly after, and pretty much everyone is in masks in the terminal. I kept mine available, but otherwise didn’t wear it. It was good to see that covid is still not contagious in a restaurant when seated behind a wood railing.

I waited to see if it was a fluke. But, people looking for soda would walk past it and either get the store brand or whatever was left of the not-Coke products.
I didn’t pay attention to whether there was a sale price. There usually is this time of year, however, so I couldn’t say whether they were dropping their prices. I’ll have to look at that when we go to the store today.

I don’t drink as much of that stuff as I used to, and when I go to restaurants now I just get water or unsweetened tea.
I buy “soda” once in a blue moon. Typically, I buy lots of frozen concentrate fruit juice, and mix as I drink it, with carbonated water.
To my mind, more palatable and healthy than any mass produced ‘soda’ product.

I had learned that by watching how my parents accessed and processed sourced information upon which they would base their decisions and their thinking. (I was in 4th grade in 1954)

My problem with links is twofold:
(1) Who is a “reliable” source with all the fake news out there these days? Even so-called reliable news sources often trace their source article back to Reuters and AP. It’s like a circular news firing squad.
(2) The second problem for me when it comes to citing an article, is that when you post a reliable source on a popular website, you make it that much easier for fake news to quickly remove it. I’ve seen too many “604 articles not found” after I try to look up articles posted here.
Make them work just a little bit harder to censor Conservative voices.
IMO people can intuit the correct information from a comment and then dig a bit to verify the truth for themselves. The reason the free world got in the trouble it’s in, is that we put too much credence in unreliable news sources in the first place. Now it’s the obscure, seemingly wacky sites (like ragtag Conservative misfits?) that are the most trustworthy IMHO.
Sometimes, when I do link to a website I will deliberately create a space or write out “dot com” to avoid having the link “jump out” at trolls and others. In this fake news epidemic, there is nothing wrong with a doing a little bit of digging to verify the facts for yourself.

I really wish he would stop taking credit for the vaccines. He was hoodwinked into promoting them and getting emergency use authorization, and the VAERS data is suggesting that the data submitted by the drug companies in order to get the EUA was fabricated. For example, the Pfizer data that was submitted included 43,661 persons vaccinated, with no deaths, and the only significant adverse events being fatigue (3.8%) and headache (2%). I found that data extremely hard to believe when it was first published, and now that we have 6 months of VAERS reporting, I find it impossible to believe.
Everyone can jump on me for asking.
About two days ago someone put up a link with actual Court, 10th Circuit court ruling, and Constitution information about rights of property owners to not allow anyone on property except mail, emergency services. And people need a warrant to access property. The ruling states very specific information.
