That’s my guess also; they will at least start with larger population areas. My neighbor said she went into a store recently (western NC) and the store had someone at the door offering masks to non-vaccinated people. When the person spoke to her, she just said “I’m good” and kept walking. That’s my response also. I have not had that experience myself. This is never going to end until people just say stop…and, unfortunately, so many people will fold…. I am not opening my door to any strangers.

They do. It’s called “not a law”. The Nuremberg Code has no force of law in any country or even any organization. It’s nothing more than a “we oughta do this” list, which no one signed on to.

It is actually written into the law. There are a lot of little roundabouts for this law. Hospital workers get edumacated on it, as required continuing education, every year.
The way around it is that HIPAA only applies to health care workers, and to professional health care settings. Outside of those settings, anyone can ask you medical status questions at any time. Unless it is your employer, school or other entity with a right to require it, you don’t have to answer. BUT THEY CAN STILL ASK. Since you retain control of the answer, it does not violate privacy laws to ask. Some people don’t care and enough of them will probably answer voluntarily.

Not really. Under the Federal HIPAA Privacy Act , everyone must authorize the sharing of their personal healthcare information. In every doctor’s office you must always sign a form to release your health info to other doctors or even to your own insurance company or your spouse.
You can refuse to sign the authorization. When nosy people ask you questions, you are not required to answer them.
But since there are so many dopes out there who freely advertise their life’s history to every Tom, Dick and Harry (they have nothing to hide dontcha know), the Covid police can deduce who the holdouts are. Plus those who take experimental injections already agreed to be tracked, because they agreed to take part in EXPERIMENTS that must later be studied and evaluated.
But that doesn’t mean we have to talk to them. We didn’t volunteer for their experimental trial.

I honestly believe the HIPPA privacy laws were put in place to make it difficult for patients to see their own medical records, and another avenue for billing. They now have to pass laws for ceilings against gouging costs to get your own medical records. It practically takes an act of congress to get YOUR OWN medical information from doctors offices and it’s never free.

Has not been my experience in 40 years of major medical problems.
I have never had any resistance for my records request especially now that they are electronic. They just hand me a disc.
Before everything went electronic I was asked to pay a small fee, but my file is huge, and that is just business.
