Of all the armed police/security in the building that day, why was he the only one that discharged his weapon?
If he had deemed Ashli Babbitt a deadly threat, why didn’t any of the other officers standing near him also view her as a threat?
Good question, but questions as to motive will probably never be answered honestly. It’s hard to prove/disprove what may have been in someone’s head, and the current administration has ample reason to cover for this killer.
Hopefully, having President Trump bring this up will put to rest the silly talk of Ashli’s death being faked.

The questions I asked were questions posed to me by Internal Affairs when I shot someone in the line of duty.
I believe they’re fair questions given the circumstances.
At least the guy I shot was an armed fugitive, who was threatening to shoot another officer, and I wasn’t the only one to fire their service weapon.

I don’t think it helpful or just to castigate Ashli and use her sex as a wedge to divide Patriots.
This brave veteran was running toward the fire. From what I understand about her, that was her nature. Fearless. She probably thought that she could make a difference and have a hand in setting this country back on its Constitutional foundations. I have no doubt that this Patriot would have been seriously ticked had a man been shot in her stead.
It is not acceptable for the rogue state to gun down Patriots in cold blood. It is acceptable for Patriots to demand redress of grievances. She was unarmed, but demanding that her concerns be aired. Nothing at all unconstitutional about that. Her sex was not dispositive nor determinative of her martyrdom. The tree of liberty got a little greener.

If people believe a 14 yr AF vet who supposedly worked in the intelligence arena had a complete lack of discipline, complete lack of respect for authority, and immaturity to storm a barricaded door through a BROKEN window into the inner sanctum of the US Capitol bldg with a room full of MALE Antifa types, then there is no more logic that can be infused into this discussion. Moreover, there was no companion viewable that cried at her demise when she fell from her perch.
Assuming she enlisted at 19, with 14 yrs of service (so called), and 5-10 years as a civilian thereafter, she would be at the very least be in her late 30’s when this occurred in Jan. That adds even more to the incredulity of this story.

My opinion is that Ms Babbitt is alive, and instead of being taken a short distance to the well-equipped hospital one floor below the “shooting”, she was taken by ambulance to Andrews and flown out of the country, possibly to New Zealand. Also, she is probably Ashli Fowler, not Ashli Pamatian (initially identified as such).
However..
Assuming that the shooting was real, it is far outside use of force guidelines, as taught at FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center). In fact, none of those officers should have drawn weapons, so Byrd was not the only problem. In any case, the drill is two shots center mass, not one to the shoulder, or neck.
I have been thru FLETC training, and undergone 30 years of quarterly qualifications and reviews of UOF. Also, I have faced a few very ugly crowds, and was never even close to drawing my weapon, which by the way can become an impediment in close-in situations.
When I first saw some video, I assumed a negligent discharge.
But keep the light on this “shooting”, it is key to the whole “insurrection” narrative.

Two things – after shot was fired, police right on scene did NOT clear the area… and everyone just stayed put and was not in any hurry to seek shelter/protection… Odd, to say the very least!! IMO

One other thing, the video depicts the shooter holding his gun and firing. If you look past him, you can see people (employees) down the hall from him just walking nonchalantly in what appears to be their normal routine.. just another hmmmm
People run from a shooting, or take cover/prone out on the ground. Then, they stare dumbfounded at the dead body, and get quiet. Unless its some crappy neighborhood , in which case a noisy belligerent crowd often gathers.
If you watch the movie Bullit, where Steve McQueen shoots the bad guy at SFO, the director captured the emotion of the moment very well.
The people around Ashli acted like, well, actors. Role players. The idea was that all hell would break loose, and Ashli would be one of many stories, lost in the confusion.

In case y’all missed it, those doors are at the top of a stairway, at the end of a hallway. They are fire doors. They are designed to protect the stairwell if a fire occurs on the floor where the hallway is . . . By law they should have opened out into the stairway. To get past the doors you simply grab the handles and pull . . . or if the doors swing both ways, (with the other side barricaded) (which is a violation of fire safety law) grab ahold of the window frame and pull. This was a stupid video production made by buffoons who think we are all buffoons . . .

Pardon my confusion, but I thought she was shot while pushing into the same room as the shooter. I go to that website and see a picture of armed guards barricading a door. (I don’t see anyone being protected.) then I see a picture of one of those armed guards holding his gun out through a door into a hallway with another door and window, and that door and window are the familiar ones from her shooting.
If my summary is correct, she posed NO threat. There was nobody anywhere near that she could pose a threat too. Just a lot of empty space and a lot of burly armed guards who could easily subdue her.
