When he was chief of Richmond CA, they got the murder rate to drop a bit by paying known killers $1000 or so a month to not kill, at least within Richmond city limits. I have a strong technical Stock Market Sell signal (July). This is coming after a couple intermediate-term sell signals beginning in May. The Stock Market price since May has been relatively stagnant.
People have had several months without being under panic or stress to asses their position in terms of retirement funds. I hope people have reviewed their situation with their Planner or Broker.
Remember, the Stock market is highly manipulated by the Federal Reserve Central Bank and the US Treasury. Also, Trump is Main Street. Biden is Wall Street.

My husband thinks the market is overbought by a long shot as well. The only thing that might hold it up is all the 401k money that goes into the hands of investment funds, like Blackrock, which I noticed was on my portfolio!

I agree with you completely. I never liked investors or banks to manage my money. I self direct and buy and sell when I want. I had a company who approached me just last week for them to manage my money and invest in them for 5 years. I said no. I had no say in where they should invest et.
A friend of mine taught me how to self direct my investment and i have been doing it for 7 years.
401k seems to be an investment scam that rips off employees by investment firms that greatly restrict options and leach money through massive fees. the advantages are that you can put a lot more tax-free money in a 401k than in an IRA and sometimes your employer will sweeten the pot with a match. (IRAs have fixed limits, 401k have percentages, but there are complex rules that make it hard to max out if you make a lot. and if you make too much, you can’t do both tax-free.)
long term, anything with high fees will erode earnings and it is possible to do worse than the 401k. If you can get an employer match, use it. but when you change jobs, you can set up an IRA and rollover the old 401k. you can find people to manage it for you, at a cost, or do it yourself. you can still use the new job’s 401k, or make contributions to the IRA.
if you have cash to invest, use a second account. keep taxed vs untaxed separate and avoid early withdrawal penalties.
of course there are other options like RothIRA, etc. and, the government will always be messing with their rules. so, whatever is best today might not be best in a decade.

I am writing to protest Yale’s forced vaccination policy. It is a totalitarian abomination and it puts lives at risk, needlessly.
Any sentient being knows that the risk from what is called covid to young people is practically nil to none. Therefore, forcing Yale students to become lab rats in a global medical experiment for no good reason defies reason. It defies common sense as well.
Further, there is a dark moral dimension to forced vaccination. It goes against all of our rights as free people. It also goes against the Nuremberg Code, which outlaws forced medical intervention and experimentation on human beings.
As the evidence of vaccine-linked pain and suffering mounts, we have much more than theoretical concerns to consider. Given the death and injury count to date (and these numbers are drastically under-reported), forced vaccination now becomes literally criminal. According to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), we know of nearly 6,000 deaths linked to the experimental covid vaccines, along with nearly 30,000 serious injuries. (The eminent cardiologist Dr. Peter McCulllough has sources inside CDC who report that in reality no fewer than 50,000 Americans have already died of the covid vaccines.) More recently, we have learned that covid vaccines place especially young men and boys at risk of myocarditis. As a result, we are seeing unprecedented numbers of teenagers experiencing heart attacks and heart damage!
Please don’t reach for a rebuttal in “statistics,” or “the common good.” Such ideas are the dehumanizing rhetoric of communism and fascism. Instead, please familiarize yourself with some of these individual cases (links below), and then ask yourself whether, knowing these real risks, you personally could then in good conscience inject a line-up of young people with covid vaccines knowing exactly what might happen to them — not as a result of covid, of course, but as a result of syringe in your hand.
It is unconscionable that the US government has not pulled these vaccine from public use. We have fallen far from the country we were in 1976 when 25 deaths and several hundred cases of paralysis linked to the mass vaccination of the Swine Flu Vaccine caused the US government to halt the whole program. Honestly, I feel as if we are back in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia, unable to appeal to law-abiding, moral or sane leadership.
Given the inhumanity and insanity of the US government, however, I am even more horrified that Yale and other colleges are enthusiastic enforcers of this dangerous experimental madness. People including students should be allowed to make their own choices about what is the most elemental basis of their sovereignty: their own bodies.
Let those who wish to take the injection do so and be “protected” by “science”; but let those of us who wish to take our chances with our own immune systems against “covid” do so, too.

I am trying to teach a neighbor kid math. He is in the upper grades of elementary school and knows nothing. I’m not kidding, no math facts, it’s absurd and worse this is not the only kid I know in this situation.
We have a generation coming up that has no clue of basic academics. How do you shop or budget when you can’t subtract 7 from 12. Double a cookie recipe or buy paint for a room. The measurement required for basic home improvement, forget it! Spell the word “through” ………not happening.
Homeschool! Even if you suck at it, which you won’t, the kid will be lightyears ahead and no CRT.
You are the BEST kind of neighbor! And you are so right about public schools teaching nothing, other than complacency. Truly it’s criminal.
Homeschooling is hard for parents initially, mostly because you are cut off from your social network once you walk down that path (I know from experience). On the flip side, you find out who your true friends are, right?
The good news is that most kids see removal from public school as being freed, even if that takes time. There is now time to read, draw, dig in the dirt, etc. and kids will eventually realize it’s because they are no longer stuck in a classroom all day.
Please everyone – I am begging –do what you can to support homeschoolers, even if simply with kind words of encouragement. That does more good than you will know.
Completely agree!! You can do this parents. Get grandma to help. It’s fun, takes no where near 6 hrs a day and as my oldest grandson says ‘school is hell’. I have spent many many hours of my life as a public school volunteer. The system has changed dramatically!! Save Your Kids!!
One thing this scamdemic has taught me is homeschooling is not complicated. There are many online academies that teach all grade academics and are accredited. Many kids accelerate at basically their own pace and some have skipped grades because of rapid progress. It’s becoming a booming business for them. Parents are tired of their compromised work districts. Now if we can only divert our school tax dollars.

My personal library has some 3,000+ books. About 99.8% non fiction and nothing or very very little from after mid 90s. I haven’t seriously bought a new book from the current fake publishers in decades. I have encyclopedia sets from 1920s. I have a 2 volume history of the US from 1826. I have biographies and auto biographies from late 1800s and early 1900s. I have world atlases from 30s, 40s, 50s.
I did recently go by Barnes and noble while car at oil change. Shopped in cheap bins. Got a few non fiction WWII type books. Literally the “authors” seemed to have sourced everything from Wikipedia. No bibliography, etc. Did not even venture into main areas, but based on prominent kiosks and central placed stacks, Barnes and noble is gone as a valid bookseller.
Well, maybe 95% non fiction. I would buy historically important fiction/novels sometimes.
Barnes & Noble was gone for me in 2008. Obama’s (make that Ayers’) autobiography prominently displayed, right next to the Che Guavara bios.
I read that any McCain or Palin books were deliberately tucked away by the store employees.
Used to shop there every weekend. Haven’t gone back in a dozen years.

I grew up in Philadelphia. This is over 60 years ago. The neighborhoods were cultural – Irish, Polish, Italian, and yes, Black – but we colorblind kids played together.
