You are forgetting that when the 2020 election is deemed a fraud, that also takes out the entire House of Representatives and a good portion of the Senate. So I am thinking Impeachment won’t happen, and Pelosi is out as Speaker of the House.

The election issues have to be addressed state by state. The whole election will not be wiped out in one move. Besides that, individual races probably would have to be contested in order to be overturned. The way I understand things, election contests will throw these matters back into the state district courts. At that point, the governing state laws would have to be looked at. Was the complaint filed in a timely manner? Does the complainant have standing? Was the candidate party to the audit request?
It is not so easy. IMO.
If you marry a man who is married to someone else, when you discover your marriage was fraudulent and your “husband” wasn’t capable of entering into that arrangement, do you have to look at state laws to see if you can still contest it? No, it means you were never married at all.

IMHO, the moment a state determines their election was fraudulent, their election is wiped away. They may choose some other way of acting to be good little, compliant, people-pleasing, establishment Republicans, but they don’t have to.
So if candidate in a down ballot race or in an entirely different state does not go to court to claim that he/she was defrauded in this election, his seat is to be vacated?
My congressman and I would both be rather astounded if any court were to vacate the results of his race in the 1st Congressional District of Texas if an audit in an entirely state proved fraudulent. It does not work that way.
I have read the Texas election code about three times. No such provision exists here.
The way this would work in the presidential race is that the electors for the specific state would need to be decertified. The calculation for victory in the electoral college would change. If the twenty Pennsylvania electors were decertified, the number of electors would fall from 538 to 518. Instead of 270 electors being necessary for victory (50%+1), the number would change to 260. That is if there is not a way for that state to seat the Trump electors instead.
I never said anything about an entirely different state. I am talking within the hypothetical state that deems its election fraudulent (hopefully, Arizona). I think you are correct about the presidential electors.
I am specifically talking about Senator Mark Kelly, China’s boy in Arizona. If the election was stolen, the down ballot offices were also fraudulent. Would there have to be a special election? Would the new count change the winner from Democrat to Republican? In Arizona, the senatorial election of Mark Kelly was close and he was largely disliked for accepting money from Soros and China. I am guessing but if the rumors are true that Trump actually won Maricopa County by over 1 million votes more than Biden, Kelly may have actually lost and Martha McSally should be the Arizona Senator.
If the audit shows the state’s election was stolen fraudulently, there are no statutory laws governing this situation and no case law (because it has to happen and there has to be a lawsuit or challenge before there is case law) because it hasn’t happened before. That alone does not mean anything. It would be a case of first impression. The law is constantly evolving as new things happen and occur. For example, at the time the US Constitution was written there was no concept of “judicial review” that came later with Marbury v. Madison. Whatever happens would be challenged and there would be court cases, special actions, injunctions and probably some civil unrest while this played out. In the end, there will be new law, case law and probably statutes or constitutional amendments even to address these sorts of situations.
We are in uncharted territory here in 2021. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen. It is the US Supreme Court that said “Fraud vitiates everything” (See U.S. v. Throckmorton, 98 U.S.61 (1878))
Of course, lawfare will argue and the media will make pronouncements about what that means, yada, yada, yada but in the end they won’t be successful. Because they can’t or there is no rule of law, no contracts, no property ownership, no country. We can all just walk around stealing everything, like they are doing in California.

I’m with you 100%. A few months ago, there was a protest in our “liberal” southern CA town. Dozens showed up to support the recall effort. When I signed the petition, the taker made uber sure that I signed EXACTLY within the lines on the page and I sign as my name appears on my license because they had been through signature rejection many times. They said they were going to go ABOVE & BEYOND the necessary amount of signature so there was no way they could throw out the recall Newsom effort.

I have an acquaintance who couldn’t believe I was questioning Plugs Biden’s “victory” in 2020. He thought the results were more of a rejection of President Trump than a preference for Applesauce brains. I looked him straight in the eye and said, “I will never believe that Joe Biden got more votes than Barack Obama. Never.”

I have several Hispanic neighbors in a relatively new Southern California development with homes in the $1 million range. You can drive down the street and pick out the Hispanic homes with the trash, clutter and obnoxious barking attack dogs visible from the street. These people bring their bad habits from the ghetto neighborhoods they left in LA to move here. Loud music and car horns all hours of the day late into the night. One Hispanic neighbor down the block had his grandmother’s car alarm blasting in front of house for hours. Finally at 9pm I went over, knocked on his door and said…your mother’s car alarm has been going off for hours. Incredibly he said that he didn’t hear it! The guy is 30 years old. Sorry but my first impression isn’t to promising!
In college, my senior year, 1979…Community Health Nursing…there were 3 kids registered in grade school, on ONE Birth Certificate. That was in Dallas County and within the city limits, then. It goes back much further than that.
And here is the thing about schools. Education does NOT have to be expensive.
But it DOES HAVE TO BE EFFECTIVE!
The schools of earlier times generally imparted literacy, basic arithmetic and civics on a large scale, to children of the very large single-income families that were common before the mid-60s.
They could do it again, but parents need to start thinking about schools as public utilities with a valuable practical function.
As differentiated from a place where you send your kids to show off their clothes, beauty and parental wealth, sort of like prize animals at a county fair

IF Gov DeSantis plans to run for president some day and wins, this is what he will be getting from the left. I’m curious how he’s going to handle this court challenge from a liberal judge, does he have a plan “B” knowing that there would be a court fight? In a win for election integrity, the Supreme Court upheld two Arizona laws; one forbids ballot harvesting, the other requires election officials to throw out ballots cast in the wrong precinct.

I think this is an important point by Alito: “The ‘mere fact there is some disparity in impact does not necessarily mean that a system is not equally open or that it does not give everyone an equal opportunity to vote. The size of any disparity matters.'”
He also suggests, some of the factors that lower courts have considered are less helpful in these cases. And the disparate-impact model from employment-discrimination and fair-housing cases are not helpful. [SCOTUSBLOG]
The Dems love the “disparate impact” argument/test. If some law, however race-neutral on its face, appears to have a detrimental affect on minorities more than whites, it probably is discriminatory. This argument has been used in school discipline cases (DOJ forces district into a “consent decree”), criminal sentencing (more blacks use crack than cocaine, and crack has/had more severe penalties), and such.
Alito appears to say that the disparate impact test should not be used by lower courts in 1965 Voting Rights cases. Good. The test often includes stereotypes such as how hard it is for minorities to get birth certificates for voter ID (were they all born in a backwoods cabin and delivered by an illiterate midwife who didn’t file a birth certificate?)

Good morning everyone. My apologies if this seems off topic but we are in a war. And if we’re not fighting battles, they are being fought against us every hour of everyday. I might be jerk. You all can let me know that if you think so. I can take it.
I had to fly into Oakland CA from Las Vegas yesterday for a funeral. A nice service for my 91 year old friend who lived a full and vibrant life. Regardless of the nice service, I was still down from the loss of my dear friend. I settled into my window seat on Southwest for the trip home and had two nice seatmates. About 30 minutes into the flight I leaned my head against the wall to perhaps grab a few minutes of much needed sleep.
I then began to eavesdrop on the conversation behind me. It was between a woman and a man who didn’t know each other. The woman was taking the conservative position (IMO) that people should have the right to choose whether or not to get vaccinated. She knew her stuff. She may be a nurse but at a minimum works in a hospital. The “gentlemen” was stating that everyone needs to be vaccinated, by force if necessary, “for the greater good.” He repeated that line several times. The woman knew her stuff and politely debated exactly as I would have. She also explained how the shut downs were/are bunk. While listening, I couldn’t help but think of the tens of millions of lives that have been lost throughout history “for the greater good.” Even though I was itching to jump into the fray, she gallantly held her own.
Realizing (I believe) that he was outmatched by her on COVID, he then moved onto global warming. Carbon dioxide this and carbon dioxide that. He personally knows scientists who all agree that global warming is real, is a threat, and needs to be acted upon now. She pushed back well on that as well. I then just verbally embarrassed him some more and told him to get off the plane.
OK, I get it. I’m probably jerk or perhaps at least I was yesterday. But I’m of the opinion that leftists need to made to feel some heat in their bubbles of arrogance and superiority or their arrogance and smugness will continue to grow like a metastasizing cancer.

We need some movement analogous to how Trump was successful in adding on Blue Dog Dems and minorities that did not want to carry water for the Dem radicals. We need a lot of rank and file to have an ‘Oh Shyatt’ moment where they start pushing back from within.
