Sundance has explained things pretty fully. I just wanted to add that I’ve become aware of another angle in the last few weeks. The Dems apparently want a “Covid response” commission report to roll out right around the time of the 2022 elections so as to manage the narrative then.
Most people probably want a “Covid origins” probe, to try to validate that the virus did, in fact, come from the lab. But the Dems aim, instead, is a Blame Trump/Blame MAGA quest instead. The goal would be to ‘prove’ that Trump was neglectful and cost the USA many 9/11 levels of casualties because of his blunders. All that stuff. This first came to my attention in reading a Politico piece from May 21:

The piece said that Team Biden may seek ‘accountability’ (blame Trump) for the USA Covid response. That is, they need a political tool ahead of the 2022 elections. Because it does not look like they are going to get a bipartisan 1/6 commission.
In the days that followed, the Washington Post published an op-ed arguing for just such a commission:

And the public relations build up to try to establish such a thing was fully on. In recent days, the worthless Problem Solvers Caucus (which includes 28 GOP members, 6 of whom voted to impeach Trump) also signed onto the idea.
The genesis of this commission comes from a Never Trumper figure named Philip Zelikow being approached by former Google executive (and Dem stooge) Eric Schmidt. Zelikow has been working on this “get Trump” operation for four months, apparently, and Dem operatives have seemingly decided it could be a useful vessel for them. I have more references on the commission and the build up to try to get it enacted, but I just wanted to lay out the outline here. Zelikow is a former Bushie (and I think also worked for Obama) and has been one of the “GOP against Trump” people since before 2016. He’s been waiting for a chance to try to damage Trump and it looks like he’s found it.
The GOP, as they did with the 1/6 commission, needs to make sure this “Covid response” commission does not take place before the election. Doing a Covid origin commission is fine, but not a Covid response one. The Problem Solver morons have made things harder, as they did on the 1/6 commission attempt, but things can still be handled if McCarthy and McConnell understand the situation.
As Sundance has said, unless the Dems can control the narrative discussion leading into the 2022 elections, they are doomed. I’m not sure the findings of a Covid Response Commission would be enough to help them retain control of Congress, but we don’t want to find out. Better to remove any issues now rather than deal with it later.
Tied to all this, of course, is Fauci. If Fauci goes down now, then he becomes the fall guy for the Covid response and not Trump. Thus, Fauci must be preserved and later used (in Comey-like fashion) as the good guy to Trump’s bad guy when and if a commission report comes out. I think that’s part of why he’s being kept in the fold now, for this purpose.
I think you are correct on the attempt to control the narrative going into 2022. I do hope there is a plan to deal with the eventual narrative that will attempt to frame Trump, not only on the pandemic response, but also on the gene shots. I’m still perplexed on this push, and if he doesn’t quit, it’s going to turn back around on him. We know the shots are causing injury and death – all for a weak bioweapon that had a low mortality rate.
However, the data are showing the actual pathogenic effect is the spike, which is the gene in the shot. Those long term effects have yet to be seen, but we are already seeing systemic cardiovascular and neurological effects for something that wasn’t needed and bypassed almost all reasonable drug development stage gates while ignoring bioethical considerations such as the coercion going on now. Any commission ran by the left would be a disaster and you bring up good points to keep a watch on.
Why, oh why is Trump still touting the shots?!
Because Trump seems to believe in them and has right from the start. He is the person who changed the rules and cleared the path to skip the accepted and regulated safety procedures of clinical trials. Sometimes we have to see things as they are. Eyes wide open, no matter who you are looking at.
There are many things PDJT did that doesn’t fit the image I had of him. That doesn’t mean that I have changed my opinion on thinking he’s the best POTUS since Reagan, but I have learned that in certain areas he is not going to align with conservative/constitutional values and sometimes is going to disappoint, possibly on a huge scale, like shutting our economy, doling out welfare bucks or helping big pharma and globalists endanger us, our children and possibly their children with this poison.

There have been hints of Disney’s agenda in the other “family” shows I watch on their streaming service, such as The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers in which one young character let everyone know he has two moms in almost every episode. But when they actually depict a physical, lesbian kiss between two minor girls for an eight-year-old audience, that’s definitely going too far.
As mentioned in my previous stories regarding Disney’s insertion of gay sexuality into storylines involving minor children via their ABC Network
(as well as a non-Disney show that shares Disney’s LGBTQ+ vision), such depictions are extremely inappropriate for underage viewers.
At a time when hormones are raging and confusion over their feelings is very common, sending these messages can only add to such confusion.
Girls in particular have been led to believe that innocently wanting to hold hands, snuggle and have sleepovers with their female friends means something sexual when they’re exposed to these sorts of depictions.
Let’s just let kids be kids and leave the political agenda out of it, please.

Out of curiosity, I was looking at the numbers of CoVid deaths. Anyone notice that you can find a number of CoVid deaths through yesterday for almost every state but you cannot find an accounting of the 10 leading causes of death in the US for 2019 or 2020 much less current for this year? Wonder why that is? Maybe Dr. Fauci, the world-renowned disease expert can enlighten us. Maybe he can also explain the criteria for a disease to be considered a pandemic and how often and for what reason the criteria might change. Maybe someone can explain how the one cause of death is identified for the statistical reports–say for instance, a man has a heart attack while driving and is decapitated. Is his cause of death (since it must be pigeon-holed into only one category) coronary disease or accidental death? How would they know if the heart attack killed him before he was decapitated or is this like interpreting someone’s intention on a ballot?
It is now June of 2021 and the NVSS has not released 2019 stats on leading cause of death. Do they need more bean counters? Are their computer systems so outdated that they cannot accept the information from states to be added to a program to compile the stats? Are they manipulating that data for nefarious purposes? Are state agencies so inept that the feds cannot trust state reporting on this but can on CoVid cases and deaths?
