Baseball just signed a huge deal with China despite the repression and slavery there. Delta dislikes Georgia’s Voter ID law even though they won’t let you fly without ID. Coke, too–even though you can’t visit their headquarters or attend their shareholder meetings without one. Ditto Apple–which requires an Apple ID to use their products.
And every one of those companies requires an ID when hiring workers. That means by their own standard, they are practicing hiring discrimination.
For that matter, Biden’s White House requires ID to get in. Indeed, by his own logic, requiring ID to get federal food stamps is tantamount to starving people.
But all of that is just Hypocrisy, and they don’t give a damn about being hypocritical. Raw Power is all that matters to them.
Corporations teaming up with the State to impose their politics on society is, of course, the very definition of Fascism. The paramilitary Antifa and BLM mobs are just icing on the Corporate cake.

The only thing he hasn’t done is make a more formal announcement. If the voting laws aren’t straightened out and the Dems cheat and win in 2022 my guess is that he won’t run knowing it would be futile. What we had in 2020 was a coup right before our eyes. When any regime pulls off a coup the first thing they do is consolidate power. We’re watching that now. The 2022 elections are going to be a good indicator of how well 2024 would go for Trump.

Corporations do not pay taxes…taxes are incorporated in the cost of producing the goods and services sold by corporations. ALL coprorate taxes are another tax paid by consumers paid on top of the national and local: wage, property, school, social security and medicare taxes paid by the consumers.
Then the neat part is that consumers pay tax multiple times for the same good or service they buy:
Tax rolled into cost at point of production produce
Tax rolled into the cost multiple times to; process, ship and place the good or service on the shelf
Various Government Sales taxes paid by consumer, at the shelf
The same item is taxed many times over before it reaches the hands of the consumer.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has said that the Supreme Court will soon have “no choice but to address” how speech is controlled by a few private social media platforms.
Justice Thomas wrote about the power of social media company’s to censor people as the court decided not to review an appeals court ruling that Donald Trump violated the First Amendment by blocking some Twitter users when he was president.

The case is Illinois Republican Party vs Governor Pritzker. This case is exactly what President Trump has been vocally against, Democrat Governors taking the COVID “emergency” and going way too far with it and using it as a political weapon to decide who wins, who loses , who gets to exercise their rights and who doesn’t based on partisan preferences.
Judge Barrett wrote that the Supreme Court has ruled that all rights do not have to be measured with the same scrutiny or rule stick. That is true, but she also ruled that government has wide latitude to do what it wants, including the violation of constitutional rights during emergencies and medical crisis….and left it just that broad.
Judge Stickman, a Trump appointee, ruled that Pennsylvania’s COVID shutdown, which was abused in the same way as Illinois, is unconstitutional. Barrett’s ruling by comparison is inept, intellectually dishonest, and quite frankly juvenile. Such a ruling is disqualifying to sit on the highest court in the land. It seems the Deep State has won again.
So …. because Clinton used the Haiti crisis to attempt to traffic children, anyone who adopts a foreign child is “sick”. That is quite a leap.

We chose our son, not because of his race or ethnicity, but in spite of it.
We told the adoption agency that we wanted a healthy child that would otherwise be difficult to place.
The adoption agency told us that biracial children were difficult to place because most adoptive parents try to adopt children who look like them (white people want white children and black people want black children).
We adopted because my wife was physically prevented from having children, not as some form of virtue signaling.
We chose our son specifically because no one else wanted him.
No child should be unwanted.
In the end, it was their loss because he is a wonderful son.

It wasn’t until I mentioned the subject to a friend who had adopted two children, one from China and one from Korea, that I became more open-minded about foreign adoption.
Just about anyone who has adopted domestically knows about the risk of the adoption failing, because of our legal system.
Our adoption took over a year to finalize and we experienced a problem that almost resulted in our son being taken back by the adoption agency.
The thought of losing him was terrifying.
It was 21 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
My friend chose foreign adoption specifically to avoid such a problem.
An unwanted child going to a home that wants them is a good thing, regardless of where they come from.

We do need to change our laws to favor adoption of needy American children and NOT break adoptions because a sperm donor shows up three years later (happened in Jacksonville, FL years ago.) Also, the kids who are already wards of the state b/c the parents had their rights terminated need homes, too. Nobody ever thinks about them, though.

In my experience, parents that have chosen international adoption did in fact consider domestic adoption first. Domestic attorneys warn of potential pitfalls and persuade otherwise.
The U.S. foster and adoption system has significant challenges. Not insurmountable challenges arguably, but the chance a child could be removed from an adoptive home at any time and returned to birth parents is a huge deterrent for domestic adoption. That is the travesty that anyone, with or without adopted children, could help to fix. Placing blame on those who choose non-domestic adoption really is not warranted.

I see Justice Thomas’ writing here as laying the groundwork, setting the tone so to speak, to how these lower courts make their approach in matters of free speech, private companies, and public responsibilities for accommodating open market place of ideas on the internet, definitely recognizing the growing demand these issues are clamoring to be addressed.
He does such a great job in laying out the different sides of the arguments. I found it 12 pages definitely worth reading. Makes me not detest the entire court system to see clear headed approach to growing complexities.
I respect and admire Judge Thomas… but I have no confidence that the Supreme Court will do anything but continue to look out for its own interests, which are not our own.
I can’t believe that they just called a “time-out” for justice to let DC re-calibrate itself, they will always have to judge and rule around the lies that they have enabled and sheltered.

I won’t wear a mask. Numerous times I’ve had people back away from me, one young woman literally jumping into the air to do so, as if I’m some kind of walking plague. This has been going on for more than a year now.

As I go through, they only bribed… er, donated to folks in the Jan 2020 report and the Oct 2020 report. I’ve already seen a headline about Delta donating to the Georgia Democrats, but they hedged their bets and donated a little more than that to state Republicans ($20K to $25K, see October 2020 report).
$15K went to the Georgia House Republican Trust, while $10K went to the Georgia Republican Senatorial Committee.
It’s low hanging fruit and something we all already know to be true, but there are plenty of state reps in those lists. It makes sense that the House could do their theatrics and pass the Delta tax increase, knowing that the Senate would recess before hearing it and letting it die. Kabuki Special!
