He is pretty much spot on (for a Leftist) and I used this video to explain Trump to some of my Left leaning friends. (you really won’t find a better encapsulation of the whole Trump phenomenon, IMHO) and well worth the 5 minutes.

The message is spot on, but the language is not anything I consider acceptable, nor did any civilized society a couple of generations ago. It does highlight the breakdown of traditional manners and moral norms. We have become so desensitized to vulgarity and amoral behaviors, it certainly cannot be pleasing to God.
A language warning would be so appreciated.
I remember when “damn” and “hell” were chastised and not to be used when speaking in front of ladies and children. I remember when the “F” word was the same, but even men who used it were thought classless. The sixties were our ruination.

I have often thought that the left has not only hijacked politics and conservative thoughts, we have allowed the most ungracious behaviors and speech/language to be “okay”. Oldschool, your comments are well taken and trigger deeper thoughts. And the predominating emphasis on sex, sexual identification, orientation…is not okay. We never spoke of such things, back in the day. Now, we, who are offended are often ridiculed for being against such ‘openness’ and being ‘old fashioned’. That is not okay, either.
We Must Resist!
I believe, along with shutting our wallets, repurposing items that can be repurposed, we must commit to teaching our children and grandchildren, the ‘gentle art’ of ‘gracious good manners and human interactions”.
Rediscover Sunday dinner, with a tablecloth on the table. Invite someone to dinner to establish the idea of “entertaining”, even if on a budget with a simple menu and no cell phones allowed. Once a month, once a week…whatever it takes. Create an environment to teach social skills of a higher and more beautiful level.
Family trips to museums (field, art) with the goal of learning something that can later be used as a thoughtful direction for engaged thought provoking conversation. Many museums have ‘family day’, where the cost is reduced.
Read the classics together, out loud. Take turns. Listen to classical music, learn about the composers, again for expanding knowledge and opportunity for elevated conversational topics.
Libraries (learn to sort thru the hijacked history that is being rewritten). Museums. Teach! Teach what the libs won’t and and don’t want to teach. Demand behaviors that are of a higher level. With critical thinking skills! (What if? What if not? What are alternatives? What are possible long range effects?)
Resistance like this will beat them at their own game as they, those who are trying to oppress us and destroy the future of America, will not know of what we or our children, speak!
With women spending so much time pursuing careers and or paychecks, it has for some, become a logistical nightmare, to raise children, keep them clean, healthy, and properly educated along with the scamdemic and any school activities left to participate in. The young people of 2008, lost out on education and careers. Our young people of today, have been scammed out of their social environment.
Our casual lifestyles, have taken away the joy of Sunday dinner, using the good china or just settings that are a little more formal than the ‘happy meal box’.

Sunday dinner was the culmination of surviving another week of Mother Nature, labor, and your “fellow” man, giving thanks to God for His Grace in that you are alive, still kicking, and have your family and friends who love and help you.
Prosperity has changed all of that. Now, it’s self-centeredness, aided by a Just-In-Time delivery system of everything from food to parcels, the latter going to the point of drones for practically instant delivery. Texas demonstrated how close we are to nature when our thin veneer of technology blinks. Like all complex systems, probability of blinking increases, and that include society as a system.
Keep it simple, don’t expect much but be delighted when your expectations are exceeded. To live at the other extreme, one will never be satisfied, totally dependent upon systems perfect functioning, and an altogether irritable person to be around, incapable of solitude without entertainment.
Nature takes care of its mistakes.
Your post reminds me of the many behaviors I witnessed over my long life that marked the decline in the “social graces.”
I remember sitting in a restaurant years ago and being appalled to see men, sitting across from their female partners, with their ball caps on their heads. As it is now, I cannot remember the last time a “gentleman” removed his hat in the presence of a “lady.”
Seems like a small thing, but these little gestures said a lot.
Agree 1000%! We are watching the rapidly increasing decay of our society, culture, and country. There was a lot of “good” in the good old days. Very tragic to have lost that…..and the Queen’s English!
Although I do not like hearing profanity this language is the continuation of the cultural decay that we have experienced over the last 50 years. Young people today use the F word with the same frequency as most people use the word “The”. This man is portraying modern young people.

IMO a storm is coming and for those of us living comfortable lives where we feel we have extra money to give to politics we’ll get a rude awakening. I’d counsel to stay engaged and focus local because local is where we live and most people are far more efficient at local defense than search and destroy, that’s what we have professional killers for and there are millions of combat trained military vets out there, plenty of whom hate the Communists. They know how to deal with an enemy at that level. We’ll do what we do.
I liked Trump from long before he talked about a political run back in the 80’s. I hope he opened the eyes of some of the masses who were otherwise ignorant of the widespread corruption in government and politics. I so agree with your post dunes. Like you, I have liked Trump for decades. Maybe growing up in his neck of the woods and my folks practically living in his casinos! I do believe he opened the eyes of many. He is likeable and speaks at a very personal level, authentic, relatable, a fighter, so people were willing to give a listen.

Don’t forget we can do stuff at the local level as, like filling the 200,000 vacant Republican precinct positions. Transforming the GOPe into MAGA starts with displacing and replacing RINOs at this level as well. No man rules alone, PDJT needs our help beyond just our votes and funding.
Our first focus needs to be at the State level to protect and enhance the integrity of the election system in even Red States. Most have the same vulnerabilities on full display in the swing states in 2020 that will be exploited in future elections. If we lose what remains of the Constitutional Republic in these Red States the odds of peacefully reversing our slide into Tyranny vanishes with them.

Sadly today I feel more alone in my thoughts than ever! Everyone at my work is giddy to get their shots. Never mind about the dangers. One gal who I thought for sure would not do it has already got her first shot because her kids wanted her to. And she wants to fly this summer and now thinks that we will have to be vaccinated first so that’s her second reason. I just started to cry because I am afraid that what is being said could possibly be true and all these people could be dead. And I don’t have any like minded people in my circle to talk to because they are all for the vaccine no matter what.
I completely understand how you are feeling. I am baffled by what I see, especially by those who I know to be conservative Trump voters. That is what makes it feel so hopeless. If 76 million Trump voters “held the line” we would not be in this position today, but fear has gripped the vast majority.
I am shocked at the eagerness of people to get the DNA altering experimental vaccine. Especially the willingness of many Stage 4 cancer patients I am acquanted with, who are already immunosuppressed –they are clamoring to get the mRNA experimental shot. I hope he alters his former hiring policies and is surrounding himself with only competent and loyal allies. Not Yes men or women.
Having a competent pro Trump ally at the top of the RNC, who is not affiliated with the Uni-party would be a great start. Only RINO’s and Decepticons would likely object to Ms. Englebrecht as RNC Chairwoman.
The other concern is Trump’s “Save America PAC.” Great idea, but who is organizing and overseeing the PAC. Once again, the severe post election criticisms about Trump campaign finances in 2020 seem to be true. The full facts have not been revealed (Why?) but “insiders” like Mark Steyn, Amanda Milius and others scornfully refer to the grifters that “squandered or bungled” much of Trump’s 2020 campaign money. The Dem’s IRS and DOJ will almost certainly be looking carefully for any “infractions” and it is possible that the Dems will plan another frame up with some Decepticon assistance regarding questionable donations or other schemes. Trump has to keep ahead of the curve this time and not only react.
Is @parscale the right choice again? I don’t know the answer but I sure hope Trump is choosing wisely this time. He certainly has the time to prepare his strategy and to select the best available people along the way.

Ocelot, good post. Objectively, Trump’s choices, behaviors and style are who he is. Not likely to change. I cannot recall one real offensive blow and still no evidence of anything coming. He’s a dealmaker and a counter puncher. He has a history of aligning with bad actors. Doubt any of that changes at his age.

He may be a political outsider, but President Trump has demonstrated a preference for working *inside* the system. So far, he has yet to make a dent in that system. Every single branch of the government and judiciary has rebuffed him AND the American people.

I’m torn as well. Something was definitely off about the number of bad staff picks over the 4 years of his term.
The way I rationalize it is, as President, Trump’s staff had to be filtered through Congress. The federal government is orders of magnitude larger than his business, and he initially went with recommendations from others that could be fast tracked through the approval, thinking he could get more waves of staff in the future once he got a handle on the workings. I believe he did not expect that very first wave to backstab and gum up the whole works for 4 years. And yes, I include Sessions.
As a private citizen, Trump has more autonomy to hire and fire. He can be more hands on, vet his staff, and know that they are loyal to him and his family. What we saw in the fed gov were career politicos who were loyal to only themselves, people who could not be fired (thanks to Obama’s tagging with SES status), and those who were loyal to leftist ideals. Put enough of those people in key areas, and that’s why you get leaks to media, bad advice, hire more leftist staff, pro-China, criminal-hiding, and declass-masking behavior.

I watched the video of President Trump’s historic speech on Monday morning (living in England I couldn’t watch it live as, given the time difference, it was past my bedtime!). I have been thinking over what he said and its great significance for the future of America and the world.
As an Englishman I learned about Magna Carta and what it meant. Its value was such that, since we also invented the Deep State, it has sadly been eradicated in the centuries since 1215. However, what the President described we might now call the MAGA Charter. This is grounded in the Constitution and states how every aspect of America’s government will forever be required to put America First. Policies will not be written in the MAGA Charter but the guiding principles in forming policies will be. Differing views will be acceptable, but they must all lead to the same goals even thought they may be modified through debate. So where do today’s political parties stand on this?
The Democrat party is a dead man walking (literally in Biden’s case!). They have been bleeding away voters at an alarming rate thanks to their insane persecution of the President and refusal to govern responsibly. They do not even know what government of the people, by the people, for the people actually means. They do not understand the MAGA principle of rejecting Wall Street in favor of Main Street. When they draft laws they look to K Street not Main Street. They have divorced themselves from the reality that made America Great.
The Republicans are a little better, but not so much. There are a few stalwarts in the House and the Senate. The rest are in hock to Wall Street and K Street. BUT the saving grace is that President Trump now OWNS that party. and fairly soon will have reformed it from the roots up as he vets every single candidate who stands for election or re-election. The disaffected Democrats who will join the already vast army of MAGA supporters will be a truly formidable enemy to those who wish to destroy America. Such a host of people cannot be destroyed and the more their enemies try the larger the movement becomes. It will be literally impossible to rig elections ever again whether at the federal or state level.
How big is the MAGA army? Well, the President probably won 80 million votes in 2020. It looks as though that might be well on its way to 100 million thanks the current administration’s anti-American actions that drive people away every hour of the day.
Watch this space and be of good cheer. The Republic will be in safe hands again and stay that way for a very long time. President Trump will make it happen and his speech on Sunday was the starting pistol going off. The Make America Great Always Charter is out of the starting blocks.

Your observations on the D’s bleeding voters cannot be overstated enough nor dismissed. The entire D 2020 primary field w/12+ candidates each selling their own ‘free’ schtick was a hundred percent about building a base of voters. It had nothing whatsoever to do with who’s the best POTUS candidate to run against Trump. That decision was made the moment Zero’s ole pal threw his hat into the ring.
The D base has been being decimated over the years gaining momentum after 2008. Millions of D’s went Independent, turned off the radical media and began to self-inform.
Zero exposed the farce recently when he, with a straight face, looked into the camera and stated the majority in this country was D. This was a bald face lie. He knew it. We knew it. But those who stubbornly refuse to continue roaming around Candyland as their source for factually based information absolutely believe they are the majority. They aren’t. You are.
Yet, conservatives/independents don’t act like a majority and that, in my humble opinion, is the root of the challenge when trying to figure out where to go from here.
Having a ‘minority’ mindset when you are in fact the majority is not helpful to any healthy future for you, your family, your country. Many of us former D’s are patiently waiting for conservatives, you, to start acting like a majority because that is who you are. The sooner you embrace this fact the sooner we can all get onto yanking our future back from the clutches of this tired, old pathetic minority.
So many worked so hard to build this majority base including our host Sundance and team, Rush, Breitbart, Levin, Schlafly to name just a few. You’re standing on the shoulders of these conservative giants who gave/give everything to get the conservative majority to this critical stage in our history. They didn’t build it, grow it, nurture it b/c it gave them something to do. No, they did so b/c they saw a very grim future if they didn’t take the risks and make the sacrifices to awaken and inform. Their achievement will be complete when you, a conservative voter, starts to behave as a majority.
For example, why isn’t everyone working to replace McDaniel as the RNC Dir? Catherine Engelbrecht would make an awesome Dir as Sundance and team have suggested dozens of times, but if the conservative majority, you, take no action to make this a real opportunity then it’s never going to happen. And you know she has the skill, experience and creds to succeed.
Yet everyone here seems to be distracted by the idea of starting a new party. This makes little sense given the fact that the guy y’all want to lead has made it abundantly clear he’ll have nothing to do with that. So, why waste valuable time hashing out a detail you’ve already lost? Makes no sense.
It’s time to make the Republican Party yours and to rebuild it with leadership that reflects the conservative majority’s priorities. Starting with putting your top choice in as a Director and fighting for her/him. It would be best to send those who can not do math to a trade school, where the practical application of calculating numbers will become obvious to them and useful in a profession. The abstract nature of Algebra and Geometry in the classroom is not for every student, although not impossible to learn for anyone.

I have commented on this lunacy before. I’m a retired engineer who worked in the aircraft engine world. Ask me: Could I have done my job without accuracy in mathematics? Or, better yet, would you want to fly on a plane I helped design if I didn’t do meticulous calculations?
I would say that fostering accuracy in mathematics is not racist, but it does discriminate against those who are not good at math. Thankfully, each individual has gifts, so those who do poorly in math should shine in other areas.

Is Brnovich v. DNC — Set for Argument Today — the Reason the Supreme Court Refused to Take up Election Cases?
The Supreme Court selects cases that have an impact on the law in a broader sense — they resolve conflicts that have resulted from appeals court outcomes, or the case involves an issue where a majority of the Justices want to shift the law in a specific direction based on a view that lower court decisions are straying away from an acceptable path.
To accomplish these goals, the Court takes cases with well-developed factual and legal records so that the implications of the potential outcomes are thoroughly explored in advance by both sides as well as any other parties with an interes
The Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments today in the case Brnovich v. Democrat National Committee, a case involving statutes passed in Arizona which Democrats claim violate the rights of minority voters under Section 2, which the Chief Justice stated was not subject to the same unconstitutional flaws as Sections 4 and 5.
Historically, application of Section 2 has been limited to laws and practices deemed to be intentionally discriminatory and aimed at impeding the ability of minority voters to participate in elections, such as “poll taxes” and literacy tests.
But more recent lower court decisions invoking Section 2 have begun to take issue with race-neutral language where district judges have nevertheless found a disproportionate impact on minority voters.
At issue in Brnovich v. DNC are two Arizona election statutes. One requires election officials to discard ballots cast by voters in the wrong precinct even if those voters are properly registered and their ballots included votes on statewide races in which they were entitled to vote. Democrats argue that such ballots should be retained, and the votes counted in those races where the precinct in which the voter cast his/her ballot is not relevant — such as for President, Vice-President, and Senator.
The second Arizona statute at issue makes it a crime to engage in the practice of “ballot harvesting” — a process by which third-parties collect absentee ballots from voters and deliver them to a designated ballot receiving location on or before election day.
This is the same type of election challenge to state law — or modifications to state law — that the Supreme Court declined to hear just prior to, and again just after the Nov. 3 election.
The outcome of Brnovich — if the Arizona statutes are upheld as not violating Section 2 — will provide the “go-ahead” to conservative state legislatures to adopt “ballot integrity” legislation prior to 2022 and 2024 with confidence that the Supreme Court will sustain such legislation so long as the statutes are race-neutral even if they have what some consider a disproportionate impact on minority voters.

Retired Family Physician/Psychiatrist here: Thoughts on Joe Biden’s Mental State
When a Physician does an initial comprehensive evaluation on a new patient for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment, we usually go through a series of steps.
First we ask about the HPI: “History of Present Illness”: What brings you to the doctor? Next we ask about the PMH , “Past Medical History” which includes all previous medical diagnoses as well as surgeries, injuries, accidents, and past treatments.
We do a ROS, a “Review of Systems”, in which we go through each organ system and ask about any symptoms. For example, we ask about chest pain or shortness of breath when looking for any cardiac symptoms. We also review things like Family History, Current and Past Medication use, and Allergies.
We ask about Psychosocial history (alcohol/drug history, support networks, living situation, military history, etc.) We look for any history of TBI (traumatic brain injury).
After we get the complete history, we then do a Physical and Mental Status Exam. Finally, we look at any lab work and other diagnostic studies such as radiology reports. We review any old medical records that may be available. In Psychiatry, especially, we also often collect “collateral”info from family members or others.
I say all this because although even the layman can see that Joe Biden has some cognitive impairment, I do not believe we should be labeling Joe Biden as having Alzheimer’s just yet. He may very well have it, but we just don’t have enough information.
I think we hurt our cause when we say that he has Alzhiemer’s, as there may be other things in play. For example, I understand he has a remote history of having had aneurysm brain surgery. It is certainly possible, that some of what we are seeing is related to that.
Also, elderly people can often have cognitive impairment from various medications. (For example anticholinergic medications like some prostate meds can affect cognition.) The fact that Biden seems to wax and wane in his mental abilities makes me wonder if he is on any mental-impairing meds. He may have had a stroke or a series of mini strokes. He could have a “Pseudodementia”. (This is actually something I saw quite commonly in the elderly.) This occurs when someone is depressed and the depression is actually causing the cognitive problems. Once the depression is cleared up, the “dementia” goes away. He could have physical causes of his impairment such as Parkinson’s, sleep apnea, B12 deficiency, thyroid problems, etc.
I point all this out because I think it is important to be aware that much more info is necessary before an Alzheimer’s diagnosis can be made.
Despite having said all the above, I do think it is obvious to any reasonable person that Joe Biden CLEARLY does not have the mental capacity to carry out the duties of the CIC.
When we do a Mental Status Exam, we look at several things and Joe Biden has shown impairment in several of these areas.
Frist is “Orientation”: That is, does he know who he is, where he is, what the date is, and why he is here? CLEARLY, Biden has repeatedly shown impairment in this area.
We look at Appearance/Behavior : Is there any psychomotor retardation? Does he make eye contact, is he fidgety, how is his posture, how’s his grooming, etc? CLEARLY Biden has psychomotor retardation meaning his overall movements are slowed. His posture is also slouched.
We look at Attention: Can the person stay on a task such as a digit span test (We don’t know this, but I suspect there might be impairment in this area.)
We look at Speech: Does it flow, does it have normal inflection (prosody), does it have abnormal pauses, is it slowed, is volume appropriate etc ? . (I am aware that Biden has a history of stuttering, but his flow problem is more than a stuttering problem. His inflections are often CLEARLY off base. )
Thought Process: Is there any wandering, illogicality, word-finding difficulty, neologisms (making up new words), etc ? CLEARLY he has exhibited this on multiple occasions.
We look at Long Term and Short Term Memory : CLEARLY Biden has a problem with is.
We look at Thought Content: Does he have any bizarre thoughts such as delusions, hallucinations, suicidal or homicidal thoughts, obsessions/compulsions, etc? (We don’t know this.)
We look at “Mood”. Is he depressed, anxious, etc ? (We don’t know this).
We look at Insight/Judgement: CLEARLY Biden has a problem with this; if he were aware of his impairments, he would not stay in his position as CIC.
Hope this info is helpful in sorting out Mr. Biden.

I can’t recall the venue, but I saw the video in approx. early October of Biden standing sideways to the camera so that his left arm and hand were visible, unobscured. He had walked up to the person talking before the person was ready to say, “And now I’d like to introduce you to the next…..” and Biden stood there rather awkwardly close to the speaker while the person kept talking.
His left hand, which was at his side, was trembling. I don’t mean there was one or two little shakes. I mean it was uncontrollable quivering, shaking, trembling, and at that moment I realized why Biden had moved from facing the camera/audience where he was distanced from the speaker to standing so close to the lectern he was but an inch or two from it.
He clearly wanted to be able to GET BEHIND the lectern so that no one could see the trembling of his hand.
I thought for sure the news would at least be big the next day from the right, but no. And here we are.
