This is an important question. You should know that “sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me” is no longer part of the culture. Schools do not teach about freedom of speech or individual rights. They teach about multiculturalism, social justice and critical race theory. Race is the one all encompassing issue and guilt for the sins of generations past governs everything. All liberties are secondary to atoning for racial sins. FORCING others to confess their race guilt and atone for their sins supersedes free speech. If the media giants can force you to lower your head in shame and guilt, they feel virtuous. No evidence for your guilt is required, only that you comply. What does Jack Dorsey get by shaming a population? A sense of virtue (in addition to power). What is he afraid of? I live in a collar county. No, we have not given up. Union flunkies outnumber patriots. Central and Southern IL are strongly conservative but as we all know, the State of IL exists for Chicago. Downstaters are frustrated as their voices are heard, yet ignored in election after election. Opportunities are not as lucrative.
Even with Trump’s economic policies, those people have been hurting, for decades. During the Obama years, small farm towns, along I-57, had vanished. Boarded up windows at stores and gas stations closed…
During Trump’s time, these same areas resurged….and it was looking hopeful. That said, those areas also now, look like they might have been “opportunity zones”…the same bland archtectural ‘newness’ that often characterizes those areas…cheap design with enough ‘design’ to appear ‘upscale’. Yet, there are still many small towns, where the gas stations remain closed and boarded up. One can barely get from Southern to Central IL without planning where to get petrol

Adam Kinzinger, R of Illinois made a video calling for the 25th to be invoked because he says Trump “incited violence” when he spoke to the crowd and that later he “only offered a weak response” in asking his supporters to not be violent.
Social platforms and news are blocking all video of Trump telling people to “go home in peace”, the one you and I saw yesterday.
Then, Schumer issued a statement that yes, the 25th should be invoked and Pence today should call the House in for a vote tonight.

What we need is a huge group of LOCALIZED citizenry who can formulate a calm but fierce, rational response – visually and verbally – and it sure isn’t going to come from our local GOPee. Yes. As a start, every county needs to begin forming their own militias. When critical mass in that endeavor has been reached, the next step in the process is for those militias to coordinate the next steps.

The county clerks office is typically the department that counts the votes. This is an elected office. If you control enough precinct captains you can choose the candidates for office. A county controlled by a political party will usually hire party members as county employees, computer techs, IT department heads etc. Become a precinct captain! I’ve posted this before. My weird (?) reaction to this is to search for an American-made chicken coop and large indoor hydroponic systems. I recently found a mountain spring near here in the desert in case water eventually gets shut off. Plenty of rabbits and deer around to hunt since I live out in the country (those road runners are just too fast for me!). Need to improve on our outdoor garden come summer too. Trying to disconnect from odious websites and financial institutions is also on my agenda (husband would never leave Costco or Amazon though). Have never been on cable.
Survivalism and connecting with like-minded locals are my goals now, not so much national politics. Connecting with the locals means not just social engagement but to work on local politicians and government agencies. Hey teabag and zephyrbreeze, how do we safely connect in person??? I am personally quite happy that the road runners are too fast for you! 🙂 When we moved here and saw our first one in the wild we got very excited. We have an inexpensive, concrete birdbath sitting on our cinder block wall. One day my husband spotted a road runner sitting on its edge taking big gulps of water. I was able to get a picture from inside the house. What a treat! In fact, just watching the birds come to visit, drink, bathe, and chit chat raises our spirits considerably. And don’t get me started on how much I adore our lizard friends. Seems like it’s a bit too cold for them now.

I just returned to MA from the DC protest. It was the biggest love fest imaginable. I spent many hours working the crowd and did not witness a single episode of rudeness. It was liking meeting old friends. The bond among those who love this country was edifying. I did not hear a single reference to causing trouble at the Capitol. It was a day for peaceful petitioning of our government. I did have discussions about what should happen if they went through with verifying a fraudulent election.

So might I suggest the 80M MAGA unite and on Jan 21 the 80M MAGA supporters commit and change their party registration from Republican to Independent and on that day every MAGA supporter cancel their FaceBook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Somebody on the news yesterday claimed all the accusations of voter fraud were not backed up with names, addresses, and specific information. I agree that statistical analysis is not proof but when dead people or underage vote, that is proof.
So they can’t release names of underage voters, likely against the law to publish any names along with the data. Trump and lawyers can’t even leak some stuff without being prosecuted. Isn’t that ironic? The people who committed the voting crimes will not face penalties but the people who accused may?
I don’t think Trump has many allies left around him after the lefty plot to make his DC rally look bad succeeded. It is still hard for me to fathom all the rinos that still believe what the left puts out. Watching the media blame peaceful protesters for violence that wasn’t happening, one thing is for sure we can no longer tolerate corporate media’s existence. We need to crush them like bugs financially.
The local AM radio station (which runs the Rush Limbaugh show) is going all in that everyone who attended not only the D.C. event, but who gathered at the Nevada State capitol building in a sympathy protest are crazy, delusional, refusing to accept the reality that Biden won without any fraud or election cheating.
They were even happy to share that twitter has now indefinitely suspended President Trump from its platform, at least for the next two weeks, if not forever, and there was joy in the voices of the local DJ’s that Rep. Kinzinger is recommending the 25th Amendment be invoked, because clearly President Trump is having a mental breakdown.

Whatever happens, Trump has shown a bright light on something that was happening in shadows before…it’s terrifying but at least we’re fighting an enemy we can see now. I loved the idea that Trump was going to be a superhero and fix everything and all we would have to do is vote. But of course, that was silly. He’s just one man fighting a massive system. Leftists control the system.
Can we start compiling a list of things MAGAs need to start focusing on that are within our control? Seems to me that there are a lot of things we can do right from our homes – if we focus and organize.

I think I figured out why JFK was assassinated: his Chief of Staff and AG were very close and loyal to him, not the Military Industrial Complex. I was yeeted off of You Tube permanently for “hateful comments” made in response to the communists slandering our President and us. I have NOT missed it. It was my only bigtech “social media” where I would post things.
Whenever events like this happen, I ask, “who benefits?” The Rinos have been very concerned about the Trump base and how they might not be able to get back to business as usual once Trump is gone. Now they can discredit the Trump base, at least they think so and that the public will go along. In the 60s, the FBI funded radical black groups and stirred up violence to discredit the Black Panthers. Seems to me that playbook is being followed here. It wouldn’t surprise me if they wanted to lose the GA senate races for that reason too.
That’s exactly the plan here. The best part is only 10 percent of us need to stay strong in our resolve to never vote GOP again and we destroy the party.
