I Will Not Abandon Donald Trump // Praying for America

1. When the church needed Donald Trump, he was there. He came to our defense at great personal cost. How can we abandon him, now that it might cost us something?
2. Donald Trump knew evil when he saw it. He knew the corrupt and vile leftists that infest Washington. He discerned the evil of the Deep State.
3. When things looked impossible, Donald Trump held his ground and continued to confess what he would do—about the economy—about China—about religious freedom. Even when it looked crazy, he would not back down.
While his enemies laughed at his promises, Donald Trump simply rolled up his sleeves and did the impossible.

But to survive, the movement can’t be based on one man. Every populist movement has failed after a short period of time, some with successes and others with none. If we are serious about making things change (for the better), it is up to us to do the hard, nasty work of politics.

And I have to speak my mind. Yesterday was a lost opportunity for President Trump. He was speaking at one of the most important points in our nation’s history, and his speech did not rise to the occasion. It was a rehash of his speech given in Georgia on Monday night. He spent a minute on his lost relationship with Oprah Winfrey. He could have laid out the stakes, as Ziegler above did, but he did not.
The crowd’s attention waned, given the uptick in crowd members talking to each other, and not about what the President was saying – at least where I was standing. Don’t get me wrong, I 1,000% support President Trump, but yesterday was the time for a focused, giant of a speech, and that he did not deliver.
Yes I felt the same. I would have thought that on this important occasion he would have a very forceful speech that was written to not galvanize violence but actually a smart speech. I was really disappointed. It was not a Steven Miller speech. It was a rehash of old arguments, a rehash of the stump speech. It was not motivating. There was no what do we do now? It was the most boring I have ever heard him speak. He seems IMHO unhinged and like you I love the man. He promised something big, some big news, patriots came and some died. This is on him. I thought during the speech….is he even fighting now or caring. Don’t know Again JMHO
Trump’s speech at the UN a couple years back was magnificent, impassioned and inspiring. What for?
If you fail to protect the homeland, nothing else will matter.
Under Biden we will return to being the patsy of the world, probably even on steroids.
Maybe something changed on that day. Maybe pence told him he was stabbing him in the back. So the big reason for the the rally changed. The plan was sabotaged and he had to improvise.
I just remember Trump was a 74 year old man who had just had covid. (Mike pence probably saw to that, too.) And he campaigned and rallied his butt off. For us. He fought hard for us. What did he gain from any of this? Nothing. He was our hero but he is only a man. He was amazing and wonderful and a great man but he was not superhuman.
Turns out life isnt a Hollywood film ending. We’re Americans we had no way of knowing.
I hate to say this, but I think he thought Pence would come through. All of us here at CTH have questioned Pence’s loyalty. Loyalty to Trump is A #1. It is his guidepost as to how he judges people. Whether he trusted Pence completely, I don’t know. But the defining moment in that speech was when he said that he hoped Pence would do the right thing, that he had heard stories. I think that was the plan all along for Pence to use the 12th Amendment. Pence didn’t do it. He seemed down throughout the entire speech as he must have known of the decision. There must be a plan B somewhere. With all of the resignations taking place and possibly the DOD sec.’s deflection, maybe that is not an option anymore. Pray for him, our country, and ourselves to find a solution.

Our President had to let this play out to the very end. Who EXACTLY is friend and who is enemy to our Constitutional Republic. Who sold their souls for a portion of silver?
He had hoped that there would be allies, patriot allies enough, that the vote for President would be delayed and examined for fraud and the truth would be known. Constitutional processes woud ultimately succeed. Didn’t happen.
But now we know Patriot from Traitor; Friend from Enemy.
I hope my educated guess, my possible phantasy, my soothing dreamlife, can come to Reality.

The GOP already had me upset for not supporting him (and us) for four years. Now they sealed the deal. I was amazed the GOP could not see that President Trump’s popularity could have been taken on and together they could have owned the next 20 years. Instead, their hubris and greed convinced them to turn their backs on the supporters. President Trump was a vehicle for those already dissatisfied with the bloated government that puts us in wars, disrupts other countries, outsourced jobs through inaction or direct support, and ignores the voice of the people. For 50 years this has been building. Divided government has survived by pitting people against each other. When regular Americans are fighting back against those elites in “Occupy” movements, Tea Party, Obama “Hope and Change”, Trump “MAGA”, and other movements, the politicians play has been keep us divided. When our parties are attacking American’s and calling us racists, Nazis, and all manner of hatred. Or telling all the ethnic groups they must fight each other. When African American’s think they are hated. When all groups must be pitted against each other for jobs, education, prosperity, justice and peace – there is something rotten in our government. Ouor country was founded on religious values of love one another. I always have tried to live my life that way. President Trump was trying to bring all of those key issues to all Americans. The Uniparty could not allow any of their groups to see he was supporting jobs, peace, prosperity, justice, and education for all Americans. His popularity grew because the public saw through the media bias and the party division play. He garnered millions more votes because the public saw progress in their lives despite the Pandemic. President Trump became the champion of many who wanted change and not the status quo. Only planned out fraudulent activity could take it from us. The elites have become transparent now. I have no use for the Uniparty. They don’t support us – I will not support them.
I am ready for a new party to rise, led by President Trump or others who have the American people as their primary concern. I thought we would witness the end of the Dems/Left but the GOP decided they wanted out of the movement. So be it. I’ll be an Independent until the new party.
True, but your last paragraph ignores that the UniParty controls the ballot box. There is no movement that will rise without the UniParties consent. Its not who votes or the candidates that are voted for: its who counts the votes. The UniParty counts the votes.
I wish I had a solution, but I don’t at this point.

Thanks Dawn. I hadn’t heard until after I posted this and saw your reply. This was actually a blog post by Murillo done in December. The time limit passed so it’s too late for me to delete it. So it will have to stand in memory.
Trump didn’t “give up”, he was defeated. He gave it his all, but too much was against him. I am not sure why so many are still believing in these secret messages or unrealistic outcomes. It is toxic. Time to get a grip.
The most we can hope for in Trump’s future is a peaceful life for him and his family, but that is unlikely. Deep felt gratitude for him and his family. Godspeed
Me too. His time is done. He fought a valiant fight. We fought with him. The future is dark and bleeak and I’m crying as I write this. America we knew even a year ago is gone. May God have mercy on us, but honestly I think he is done with America. The Bible alludes to it. The sin of the nation, not us personally. I told someone yesterday, they will kill him within 3 months. He knows stuff, unless they hid a lot, and with all the traitors around him, they probably did. He has no friends there now it is obvious.
I think you are right about God being done with us as a nation. The signs of our moral decay are everywhere. President Trump lifted us up again for a time and it seemed God was using him to help us as a country, but the forces of darkness are here, no denying it.

I’m reading the tweet and it seems a bit ambiguous that not conceding cannot be ruled out:

The fact that he said he “disagrees with the outcome, nevertheless …” tells you that he is leaving.

I disagree. If Trump didn’t realize what was likely to happen yesterday, he’s not a good leader, and if he did realize what was likely to happen, he used us.

President Trump was assured by his people that ample security would be in place to handle any problems.
Many of us were surprised to see how easy it was to gain entrance into the capitol building. It almost seemed like it was an inside job. Congress and those in the hearing also assumed security was on top of things.
So the question is should he have known that security was so inept?
The next question is who assured President Trump there was ample security at the capitol? Who was in charge of security?
From what I saw when one group breached the capitol bldg there was only ONE security guy they surrounded him and he could not keep them out and it was only after they all got in that more security persons came. By then it was too late.
Also, President Trump trusted his intelligence people to warn and be prepared for any attacks, which they clearly didn’t warn him of any such thing. This tweet below is a good example, I’m referring to the eye witness to FBI and/or State Troopers escorting in a bus load of Antifa/BLM.

President Trump is NOT the evil happening before our nation. And, I would conclude you know exactly what you do but going to choose that you are simply misguided.
I’m not saying he is evil, but he is not a god either. He screwed up when he asked us to come to DC on the day electoral votes were counted. There was no upside. It was too late. At that point, it was up to him and his legal team.

Given the history of Trump’s first term, he was caught off guard too many times. He seems to be a trained counter puncher with not much offense. Could be he had no offensive bench?
OTOH, His call for this gathering certainly gave his supporters the impression that some “huge” was going to be delivered to them at this rally, like his 2nd term. On the 4th, listening to him in Georgia, remarks about Lee, begging Pence, I knew he had no goods to deliver on Weds in DC. I cannot speak to his motives, but he is a mere mortal, with the shortcomings of mortals. IMO, there was way too much “worship” of this man. He is a great patriot, but not some “god” or “superhero”. The memes were fun, but believing in some image WE created clouded our critical thinking.

The President’s words: “come to DC… it will be a WILD time”… bothered me. I thought the choice of word: ‘wild’ was strange, dramatic, confusing.

They said three were medical related deaths. But I just watched a video of a Capital Police Officer pushing someone off who was climbing up the side of the Capital stairs, outside the building. The video was filmed by the crowd that gather in front of the capital. The video disappeared right after I watched it. Shocking footage if anyone can find it.
I read somewhere the tear gas caused other deaths but can verify. Recall the Dims after the June 2020 attack by BLM/ Antifa in Wash. DC. They had no complaints for the protestors but for tear gas used. They wanted to impeach or 25th the President for that in June 2020

We can blame Pence all we want but the fact is that if the rally and shooting and breech of the capitol bldg had not have happened, President Trump would’ve gone on to win this thing. President Trump’s victory did NOT depend on Pence’s decision today, there were other options. That was only one of them.
I’m ashamed of anyone who called themselves a Trump supporter and broke into capitol bldg today, they didn’t have the patience to wait to see how the hearings would go and didn’t wait to see if he used his other options. I understand it was ANTIFA / BLM who started it, but apparently it was also those who came to support him but in the end did more damage to him than Pence.
It was the last straw his daughter Ivanka and Jared needed to convince him to concede.
To MoniCat and others who are jumping to conclusions on the events of yesterday, I suggest you wait a few days for some facts to emerge.
It’s already been proven that some of the Capitol Police LET THE PROTESTERS IN, and many were Antifa DISGUISED as Trumpers. (See yesterday’s 40-minute Monkey Werx video on YouTube).
As in any turbo-charged situation such as this, allow time for truth to be shown.
There were not other options once Pence did not take any of the actions that he could have – such as rejecting the electors from the states with dual electors, sending the electors of those states back to the states – as 3 of them I believe – via letter – specifically asked Pence to do so.
The other options were such that Cruz proposed – a pause for a 10 day commission – requiring both Houses to agree via majority.
The objections raised to the electors required a majority of both Houses to agree for the objections to stand – that wasn’t going to happen either. I’m glad that those that stood up did so, but the fact is the Dems have the majority in the House and no way were they going to object to Biden’s votes.
Pence had All the Power yesterday and he stabbed President Trump in the back as he stood on stage speaking with his supporters – he (Pence) released the letter stating he would not follow that path that allowed him to reject electors but would follow another path that he laid out.
President Trump went from hopeful at the beginning of his speech yesterday – saying he had spoken to Mike and he was hoping “Mike would come through for us”, to towards the end of his speech, (someone in his ear I’m sure) – saying, “It’s not looking good from Mike”.
Just the night before, President Trump released a statement in which paraphrasing, “The VP agrees that he is able to act in several ways tomorrow and those ways were specifically stated as rejecting electors outright and rejecting to send back to the states.
p.s. there is no doubt in my mind after the mayhem and killing today they threatened to physically remove him and other threats which inevitably forced his decision to give up.
This was the historical senate’s Julius Caesar moment.
Once the knives started stabbing they kept on coming.
And in the end it was his own daughter and son-in-law, Netanyahoo, Mossad, CIA, FBI, never Trumpers, Dems, Antifa, black lives matter, his Vice President and other political actors, and even his own unhinged supporters who lacked patience and restraint sticking it to him.
The only ones who never left him were “his evangelicals” and those in the pro life movement and other faithful supporters like Sundance and many of you here at the CTH.

I think it dies, but I really hope I’m wrong. I’ve been working for the last 3 weeks on what I can do to keep the movement alive, but I don’t see many others willing to put in the hard work.
Making phone calls, sending emails, and going to rallies is necessary, but not hard. Developing policy recommendations, raising money, running a campaign, finding and encouraging good candidates to run for office, effectively lobbying your Congressman, being a poll watcher, etc – these are some of the hard things we need to be focused on. Politics are local and that’s where we have the greatest impact so that’s where we need to focus.
It is all in vain. They count the votes. And they will only select candidates to win that conform to the UniParty and just enough MAGA folks to maintain the illusion that we live in a Republic. Enough MAGA candidates to draw eyeballs and clicks for certain media outlets.

I was at the rally yesterday. Very large, peaceful group. As for what happened at the Capitol, I cannot comment. Did not take that route after the speech. I pray for the Republic.
I too was at the rally, marched peacefully to capitol and was also at the front of the building. You could see the ANTIFA/BLM people trying to infiltrate the crowd and taunt violence. The crowd was 99.99% peaceful and America loving patriots BUT their was a set up of “Trump supporters” who were there only to cause havoc and harm. My husband and I sensed it at about 2:00 PM’ish and decided to head to the airport. While waiting for Uber and in front of the Library of Congress we could hear explosion like noises and saw multiple police cars/firetrucks/ambulances rush to the capital area. The rally at Ellispe Park was wonderful as was our peaceful and prayer filled walk to the capital BUT the vibe turned and you could just feel darkness had descended upon our day. This was a planned and deliberate attack on Patriots – Anti-Trumper groups planned this all out and sadly succeeded because few Republicans stood strong inside the building. I am confident we will soon learn of planned/staged opening of doors by insiders/traitors inside the capital but most Americans will not “see” or hear of this because MSM is the enemy of the people. On a side note — we did not see one camera crew or Cable News network at any of the events on the ground interviewing participants (which is common amongst HUGE gatherings/events). Only camera we saw was when Vernon Jones left the capital and walked past the Trump cheering crowd. What strength it took to walk out amongst the chaos at the capital BUT he did! My husband and I might actually be on camera or video tape shaking his hand and thanking him for switching parties earlier that day. I had a bright yellow jacket on and my husbands was blue. President Trump is a great natural leader. We have been so fortunate to have him and the elites are fools, criminals, grifters to have not supported his movement. They stole our election. I have been watching Trump rallies on Right Side Broadcasting and OANN since 2016. Right Side not only covered the speeches, they covered the crowd lines for hours before, doing spot interviews of Trump supporters.

If those American patriots we saw in Washington DC yesterday were really the angry mob they are being portrayed to be, some of those Congress critters would not be around today to squawk about it.
Do not forget the reason for our presence yesterday. We the people were robbed of our president. Yesterday’s violence at the Capitol has a silver-lining: now having no effective representation in government it shows our malevolent rulers that if they push too far we can and will respond.
I wish I could agree but I cannot. Our “leaders” installed Biden as president and they are thumbing their noses at us. What can we do about it?

I have been reading comments from Lin Wood and Sidney Powell on Parler. If I can figure out how to post I will.. Trump needed for Congress to complete the crime before they can be arrested. Sidney shared document written by Chinese generals on how to take down without needing military… They know we are at war with China. Trump has this. I know we have been on a rollercoaster of emotions and are sick over this, but hold on… just a few more days.
The sad reality is that every single branch of government has failed us. There is no law to protect us, no one to judge our grievances. Yesterday was the total failure of government. Now what?
I don’t know if I would go that far. More than likely these politicians are lining their own pockets as they have in the past. I do not see why they would come after us individually. There is no cash for them in that.

Over the past 2 months I have watched in disbelief as the democrats stole an election, called it unconstitutional to challenge the fraud, and constitutional to certify the fraud. On top of this, the same democrat party who stated we did not have 6 billion to build a wall to keep drugs out, just gave away hundreds of billions to foreign countries while our own citizens are hurting. In addition, they gave big tech license to continue to stifle our speech.
What has really shocked me is that our GOP senate has gone along with this. Our GOP senate has joined with them to give us a totalitarian police state. Over the past two months the GOP senate has been no different than the radical left.
We will probably not recover in our lifetimes from the travesty witnessed yesterday. However, we will certainly not recover if we allow these GOP senators to stay in office.
So, what do we do? My suggestion is that our priority must be to get rid of these turncoats. We will never amount to a force with them in charge. To quote a line from Jimmy Stewart in Shenandoah “Burn it”.
Some may choose to leave the GOP, others may stay to primary bastards. Next time Win Red calls tell them No Trump – No Money – No Vote
