No. No he doesn’t. Cruz is quoted as such. I think he stays a Senator until such time he can count on the Hispanic vote to send him to the Oval Office.
Senator Cruz is NOT a “natural born citizen” as defined by the US Constitution. (Nor is Haley, Harris, or Jindal for that matter. Or the anti-American Communist Obola.)
He has said he is uninterested in being a SC Justice, at least at this time. And since it is better to put younger people on the Court, hopefully to have their conservative reading of the Constitution last longer into the future, Cruz is quickly approaching the age at which he would be older than we would want for a SCJ nominee.

Cruz was not questioned re NBC and eligibility when he ran for Pres in 2016. I did read a few articles about it but then it was dropped. Why? Because Obama that’s why.

Can Texas protect its citizens from an invasive Federal Govt? Since the SC ruled that Texas has no standing, can Texas proclaim that the SC has no standing in Texas? I know the answer, but I’m being rhetorical.

Longer term, it will be up to us, the individuals on the local level to get back to being very vocal and very active in picking who will be on our ballots for the next election.
For myself it will be to register as Republican (had changed it to non-partisan a decade ago) and show up at the local party events to make as much noise as possible to make sure its MAGA candidates in the primaries, think that’s the easiest way to complete the MAGA takeover of the Republican party.
But until then, if there can be a dozen or so Senators standing with Sen. Hawley, that works to President Trump’s advantage, not only in cleaning up the election fraud mess but upon success, these folks can maneuver ol’ McConnell off his perch as leader would be a grand bonus.

And while some have given a statement that they will object and / or why they plan to object, I want to see the actual written objection they plan to submit with who is signing on to it from the other chamber. Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father.
There is question about mother becoming Canadian Citizen, She supposedly shows up on voting rolls. He still had his Canadian citizenship close to when he ran for president. He had stated once Obama was not eligible but, fast forward a few years, and when he realized it was discovered he was dual citizen, he never again mentioned it or nbc issue. I’ve read analysis I believe to be on point about Rafael. He never campaigned for much of anything prior to becoming a Senator. He didn’t know how to connect with voters, be more authentic, and counter punch. I don’t believe he’s on “Team Trump” by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s watching and learning for his next attempt at the White House.
He’s probably calculated at this point 1) If he ever wants more than Senator from Texas he will need the Trump coalition 2) If the steal is allowed to stand there is no republican party any way 3) He’s been too “republican” to be one of the ones who will change over and join the China first party.

Timing may be everything, but from what I have read I have some serious questions. According to the reports, Cruz and crew will protest UNLESS there is not a commission to investigate within 10 days. So, here is the question…today is the 2nd, 10 days even if a commission were appointed today would make it the 12th. What happens on the 6th? Is that not the appointed date to vote on the electors or would that be postponed until after the commission report, so the 16th?
Just trying to understand how this would work? Or do they all just pinky promise that a investigation will take place.
I believe the idea is to postpone the actions of the 6th-counting and approving the electoral votes- and get a commission going asap.

The only reason he was re-elected in Texas, when Beto ran against him, is because President Trump came to Texas and ask his supporters to vote for him. Real test will be the vote. If enough Senators sign on at the beginning puts real pressure on Mitch’s inner circle of Thune, Cornyn and the likes. Then the real squishes like Romney, Murkowski and Collins. Likely to be 50-48 as Georgia is not likely decided. Does Pence cast the deciding vote in this circumstance if it’s a tie?

Unless 3 courageous State Legislatures step up and decertify their electoral slates and/or appoint new ones, the present result will stand.
With such Legislative action, it’s up to the House Republicans to realize that the House, voting by States, NOT the House and the Senate each voting by simple majority, NOT the Vice President, have the exclusive constitutional authority to resolve electoral disputes when whether any candidate got 270 is disputed. This power is necessarily implicit in the House’s (voting by States) sole constitutional authority to decide the Presidency if no candidate gets 270. The Electoral Count Act of 1887 is plainly unconstitutional insofar as it purports to involve the Senate, as well as the House voting by simple majority, in elector disputes.
Unless McCarthy calls for and holds outside the Chamber if necessary a House vote by States, the present result will stands.

Govenors refused to call the legislatures into Executive session, and State legislature leaders felt,…uncomfortable calling themselves into session.
This commission report WILL be made public, it WILL give Rudy and Sidney a chance to put on their showing of evidence, which they have “roadtested”, and the State legislatures can take this as the U.S.Congress telling them “go home and do it, again!”.
It gives them political “cover” to call a Special session, even if the Govenor doesn’t (don’t blame US, blame Congress!) and, with the evidence out there for all to see (the report) it gives them cover to decertify Biden electors.
Since all the contested States DID submit electors, no problem.

So far, I am feeling “o.k.” with this, and watching to see how it plays out.
One big plus, it finally gives a venue for presenting and HEARING the evidence.
Where is there an allowance for a commission report in the U.S. Constitution? No where. I agree on it being potentially helpful for getting the word out to the more dense individuals in the electorate but it also gives ample opportunity for the Dems and RINOs to muck it up so that we end up with Biden. I still strongly prefer the Hawley constitutional approach and let the dense ones catch up later after we inaugurate PTrump for his second term.

Cole, imho, the “Trump Electors” are not the “Alternate”. They have come from the State Legislatures (Regularly Given).
The “Alternate Electors”, imo, are those sent from the State Govenor/Secretary of State and are “Not Regularly Given” because the Legislatures (As Elected By The People”) are in place to “Regularly Give” the Electors to the National Government.
The Govenors/Secretaries of State (by sending “Irregular Electors” from the contested States, are the USURPERS here, not the Legislatures.

The key “Constitutional” disconnect with the Electoral Count Act is the certification ‘must’ be done by the State Legislators per the Constitution and not the Governor, SOS, etc. That one change, and I think, the counting process would at least, be in full alignment with the Federal Constitution as we wouldn’t have dual slates to deal with in the future.
If I was VP Pence on January 6th, I would set aside any State with two sets of electors on the grounds that both of them are Constitutionally deficient. One because its certified by the ‘Governor’, and the second because it doesn’t represent a ‘majority’ of the State Legislature. The Guarantee clause could also be employed to reject the electors as well given the significant fraud. I would then proceed to count all single slate electoral votes and then call a recess until January 19th or until such time as a count of 270 “Constitutional’ electors can be achieved.
This will give the State Legislatures an ‘opportunity’ to submit ‘one’ ‘Constitutional’ slate of electors. Those that do before January 19th are counted, those that don’t will remain uncounted. If on January 19th no candidate for President has received 270 electoral votes, then we move towards resolving the issue via the 12th Amendment.

The problem with your idea is that the original election was not legal in those states because governors/secs of state changed the election process/procedures and only the legislatures can do that. You can’t support certifying an illegal election unless there is agreement it was illegal (which there is not at this time) and a remedy put in place (which there is not at this time).

This is all well and good, but we really need to get the States Leg. to step up before Jan 20th. and send one set of ‘constitutional’ electors, if we don’t make 270 before Jan 20th, then the 12th Amendment kicks in.

Is this the portion of the 12th amendment whereby the House votes? Each state gets 1 vote?
Yes, the 12 amendment outlines what happens if no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast. While you could make that interpretation on Jan 6th I think it would be a really bad precedence if all you need is dual electors to throw an election. It was really meant for either a tie, or three or more party slate.
I think this is just more political pressure to get the corrupt executive branches of these several states to correct the record. A challenge and emergency audit of the vote means certain jail for anyone that participated in the fraud or certified it.

We don’t need an ‘audit’. The evidence has been presented to state legislatures and included in court filings that courts say no standing. New evidence exists, just act!
The evidence has NOT “been presented to THE STATE LEGISLATURES”, it has been presented to COMMITTEES of the State legislatures.
It requires the LEGISLATURE, in total and acting as an elected body, to decertify the Biden electors.
In order to do that, they need to meet, AS a legislature.
They are not currently “in session”, and so normally would require the Governor to CALL them into “Special session”.
However the US Constitution “trumps” State Constitution and law, and gives State Legislatures Plenary (absolute) authority, therefore they can call themselves into Special session.
This 10 day commission WOULD be a prod to do this, particularly if the “finding” was of widespread vote fraud in their State.
It would give State legislatures “Political cover”.

I sprayed the outside with household bleach and washed by hand tourghly after handling it. It is a soft mailing sack and it feels like two things inside, one seems to be round and about 1.5 inches long with maybe a half inch diameter the other thing is smaller but I can’t get an idea of its shape.
What should I do with it?

SD has implied these are coded messages to Kim Jong Un, he’s being held hostage by China but maybe there’s something brewing regarding him. Based on Pompeo’s tweets maybe a defection? He could make it to Japan, or even South Korea for that matter. It would be a pretty big deal, obviously the media would either ignore it or credit Biden.
Don’t imagine if they are trying to rescue KJU or anyone else they would be talking about it, these deals are pretty quiet until they are accomplished.
It would certainly be interesting to have Kim defect and give an address to the world explaining that Xi was the one behind all the manipulations and games over the last several decades, with the full knowledge and approval of the Congressional leadership of both parties!

Facebook shut down a fundraising page for Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.) just days before voters head to the polls to decide between the Republicans and their Democratic challengers.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) runs the Georgia Battleground Fund, a joint fundraising committee for the NRSC and the campaigns for Loeffler and Perdue.
According to a screenshot from the committee, Facebook alerted them that the page for the fund was disabled “for policy violation.”
The page allegedly violated a policy against unacceptable business practices.
“We don’t allow ads that promote products, services, schemes, or offers using deceptive or misleading practices, including those meant to mislead or scam people out of money or personal information,” the alert said.
“Big Tech is at it again,” the NRSC said in a statement.
“This is unacceptable with only four days to Election Day.”
Facebook did this just to dominate them like an alpha dog humping the beta dog. They knew they had bought the votes they needed to force the GOP to keep the 230 protections, and so the GOP does what it was ordered to do, and Facebook rolls in and tells them “You see how we’re not going to stop, just like we said we wouldn’t…but you’ll still get paid.”
Why isn’t that obstruction?
Today we have a strongly-worded letter issued from a dozen Senators. And everyone within the MAGA bubble has tweeted it to one another.
It would be nice if POTUS would make a televised address with these Senators at his side. We need more exposure with easily-presented truth…. because half the nation is convinced it is the GOP who is attempting a coup, not the other way around!
It seems to me that the main voice that has been silent on what Pence ought to do is PDJT.
Perhaps he already knows what is going to happen.
Indeed, it’s frustrating sometimes. POTUS went on the offensive in 2016, getting his campaign message in all sorts of new media. Music videos, memes, more than just the standard slot at the foxnews interview desk. It was a never-before-seen full-court press.
I don’t know if Brad Pascalle was the only brains behind the operation or if it was a full council that never made the jump into the administration. But the intensity of messaging is sorely missed.

Unless there are 50 resolute senators and a majority of the House willing to contest the fraudulent electors on January 6th, this is going to come down to President Trump taking matters into his own hands that day. The good news is he should have close to a million patriots to back him up.
