Data Engineers Have Optimal Solution To Restore Comment Function:

Success !!
It appears we have a workable solution achieved. Excellent….
….Welcome Back Gang… let’s test drive this thing.
Run it hard, use this thread to try out the stuff you are familiar doing. Let’s see what we need to tweek modify or adjust to get back to peak operational condition. Share your issues and ideas in comments.
We are no longer on Automattic/WordPress servers and despite the extremely tight forced eviction timeline we have achieved a safe rebuild ten hours ahead of deadline. Quite an accomplishment considering the scale of the task at hand, and a holiday in the middle of it.
There are a few random reports of regional DNS issues and here’s a few tips we are discovering from users:
♦ Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser software. Reports of Mac not reaching through to new site, but when OS “Big Sur” is added things improve.
♦ Make sure your cookies and cache are not returning you to old site activity. I apologize for this issue because clearing your browsing history is always a mess and can often require you to re-enter all saved passwords, but that’s one of the unavoidable issues with an entirely new set of servers and new DNS targeting.
♦ All regional Internet Service Providers (ISP’s), responses for queries and bookmarks launched by users, should be aimed toward our new servers now. Some of them took a long time to update, and there is a familiar pattern to it (discussion for another day).
♦ Remember, while we are using WordPress open source code/software, we are not operating inside the WordPress/Automattic platform. Some proprietary functions of WP/Automattic will not be available. I think the notification bell is one of those functions.
♦ There will be a new email-notification program initiated later today that will allow you to sign up for email notifications of new articles and updates. [In the works] In the interim Twitter users can use the notification function and all articles will cross-post to Twitter.
There are going to be features and site enhancements to come along later. Right now the priority was to keep everything as identical and familiar as possible. We will likely be doing some cool site changes now that we have full proprietary control and ownership of the site.
Thanks again for bearing with us as we work through some technical issues, search for optimal solutions, and fiercely retain the original values and mission priority of the Treehouse. The Truth Has No Agenda
Please be patient if you get hung up in a moderation cue. It may take time to release some comments if they are hung up in moderation. The site admins do a great job with comment moderation and release so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue; and quite frankly, there are likely to be benefits from not having WordPress/Automattic software filtering through the comments as they post. Spam removal will be a priority.
Thank you for your support and fellowship. We will always work diligently to deserve it.
As word spreads… the voices of the rebel alliance are arriving now. The best open-source researchers in the world are firing up their laptops and preparing for the most critical moments in the battle to save our nation. The CTH printing presses are rebuilt, oiled, and the deep rumble of the machinery is slowly building to a deafening roar.
We are extraordinarily thankful… and itching to get FREE VOICES back into this fight.
Love to all,
~ Sundance

Wow, this is so beautiful. I love it.
Welcome back, Sundance! Well done to everyone involved.
Trying to post using twitter
we good now?
No doubt Barr has been compromised now. imho. Though did not trust him in beginning.
There’s always a way……
Testing, testing, one, two, three…
Weird.
Each time I refresh I get a different version of time/CTH.
Hey…it works!
one last try
Welcome back!
I’ve really missed the political conversations on the Presidential thread. Hopefully, Treepers will still post interesting comments, but it won’t be the same without being able to reply to each other.
I think we can know
now
Third grade reply
Thank you
Hi PJ and others- so glad to see all those friendly faces again- I surely missed all of you.
Our hero Sundance has once again proved that the pen is still mightier than the sword and that his truly a force to be reckoned with.
Given that we are now in the fight of our lives to save our Republic, I was honestly terrified for awhile that “they” would go to any lengths to take down Sundance and the Fellowship of the Tree House.
Lots going on 24/7 that we need to update for ourselves and others. I can’t wait until Sundance has time to do another mind blowing essay on current events.
Love to all- wow did I miss you guys!

I am having no trouble reaching the new site on Firefox but Chrome insists on going to the old site. I’ve tried every method I can think of to clear cache and cookies, including developer tools clear cache and hard reload, but nothing works. Still tinkering but for anyone struggling that uses Chrome, just a heads up.
I found pushing ctrl and F5 at the same time fixed it for me but I haven’t changed browser sessions yet.
Thanks, Bee. Unfortunately, that didn’t work. At least I can get here on Firefox so the situation isn’t dire. 🙂 I appreciate you trying to help!
Armstrong: Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed.
Mission Control: Roger, Tranquility. We copy you on the ground. You got a bunch of guys about to turn blue. We’re breathing again. Thanks a lot.

Testing. So glad to be back and see everyone!
Congratulations!
trying this again..Testing..Testing
So happy to see you are back. Let the Truth shine!
FYI for your Tips:
I use Mozilla Firefox. I had to turn off my Enhanced Tracking Protection and refresh my screen (CTRL+F5) to get new articles from new site. I then turned my ETT back on and everything held while still on the site. After leaving (shutting down the site), and coming back in again later, I had to do it all over again, so most likely I will leave it off for this site, because I manually clean out my cache and cookies often anyway.
So good!
“Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser software”
No issues using (now ancient) FF 52, given my need for pre Quantum functionality lost when Mozilla dumped webextensions.
And yes, thanks Stella for that speedy reply!
Now … what do we do about Barr? And where is Gina really? Curious patriot minds want to know!
Testing!!!!
this “new” site came up on my phone browser but on my home computer, after clearing the cache, I had to search google and duck duck with the exact headline to get to this article. Otherwise, it opens the site with the “maintenance in progress” as the top “story”.. I also don’t see a link to Last Refuge twitter on the sidebar?? Gotta love technology–when it works!
Things looking pretty good right now. But the other day, when we finally landed and Sundance tells us to “check in”… well that was interesting. Each comment each of us made was causing things to get crazier and crazier, and even though I understand now what caused it, there’s still this:
What we basically did was perpetrated a DDOS attack on OURSELVES! Bad us! 😀 😀
I notice this ISP is working find but at my work computer being a different ISP is not working.
I believe Sundance’s following statement applies;
All regional Internet Service Providers (ISP’s), responses for queries and bookmarks launched by users, should be aimed toward our new servers now. Some of them took a long time to update, and there is a familiar pattern to it (discussion for another day).
find = fine
I called the ISP provider and they stated that Sundance has not aimed their new servers at them because if they did it would show immediately in real time.
It looks like home. I didn’t pick up the new dns update until now.
TESTING
Yay! After several unsuccessful attempts to log in and make a comment, I was finally successful using my email address and choosing my original username, Trying to log in using WordPress credentials failed. (unless in moderation que) I did need to clear my browser cache and reload. I could not reply to my own or any other post because there was no “send” or “post comment” button.
Woosh!
Thanks for all your efforts. God Bless you and yours and all those who inhabit these branches.
Woo woo comment back
Android is giving me fits
This is a comment. It is a test.
No more WordPress / Automatic terms and conditions to worry about. What does that free up for CTH?
I wonder if other sites will be interested in the CTH blueprint for migration away from the WordPress / Automatic dictatorship?
This success story should be shared widely because if they evicted CTH from the platform they can do it to anyone for any reason.
Wonderful!! Outstanding job, Sundance.
Congrats on the move.
Watching the hearing in Mich…….amazing just how corrupt this election was…….

Another Swamp thing decloaked.
Wow, he sure did that investigation fast! Almost as fast as his Epstein investigation.
Too bad he couldn’t get Durham to work that quick so all the indictments could have come out before the election. Oh, that’s right. Probably nothing will be found in the Durham investigation either. At least nothing that would “make any difference now”.
Oh my gosh are we here finally ?!? Happy tears ! Thank you SD et all !! God Bless You and your tech support angels !! Found my cozy little branch back here . Thank you so much !!!
I bet that a large part of the problem could be the bad Mojo exuding from Mr. Obummer’s yucky face that seems to have followed us here EEEEEKKK !!!
TEST
Keep going, Sundance. We hold the line, together.
