Every time I hear a Dem complain about the shutdowns or masks, or anything Covid – I gently agree with them, and then remind them that they’d better vote accordingly this time.
They generally get a stunned look, stop their whining, and walk off all depressed. 😀

Strangely, I’ve never encountered pushback from them – only the look of shame.
Perhaps it’s related to restriction level. I’m in Georgia, and in my part of the state, about a third keep themselves under restrictions, with continued virtual school, restricted or opting out of kids’ activites and enthusiastic mask wearing (barf) when it’s totally unnecessary. For example, one neighbor has had 21 covid tests, getting another after a negative, just sure she caught it in line for the previous test, and her kids are shuttered. Another neighbor left town so that trick or treating wouldn’t even be an option. People like this are choosing to bathe in the hysteria, rather than doing their own research. No skepticism, so I guess they’re cool with this and will indeed vote accordingly, unfortunately. However, when we go to more rural areas, there’s no masking, no distancing, and “big, beautiful” Trump signs everywhere! My compliant kids keep a mask handy and get weird looks with them. : )
I’m going to work and grocery shopping, but not going out to eat or doing in a person indoor events. Left candy out for the kids at the driveway and sat on the front stoop to greet the ToTers and have them show off their costumes.
Haven’t worn a mask at all. No mask when I go to vote Tuesday either.
I’m not scared of getting sick, but dealing with the fallout from it. I do have some health issues, so wash my hands and don’t touch my face. I’ve also been more active, lost weight and am taking vitamins.
I went to a wedding a few weeks ago in So CA. Pre-covid the guest list was like 170 but had to be scaled down to 50, all outside, and the host family requested getting a covid test the week of and texting the results to the bride. I wouldn’t have agreed unless asked by this very dear and close friend of mine whose daughter was getting married. The test was free through the county and took all of 20 minutes. Our results were back in less than 48 hours. At the wedding, the staff & photographers all wore masks…..the rest of us did not. The wedding was wonderful – we had a blast seeing everyone! Another dear friend of ours who was also a guest with her family all went for another test AFTER the wedding (all were NEGATIVE). The bride’s mom thought, “What….are they going to sue me if they were positive? What the heck!” I wasn’t surprised by this family – they are die hard Democrats and have bought into the whole hysteria and have lived in strict lockdown since MARCH. (My next door neighbors are the same.) I really think there is some mind control or brainwashing going on. If you were that terrified of going, why bother? BTW – my neighbors give me the stink eye every time they see me leave the house for work, or come home. These folks need to stay at home if they’re so terrified. But let the rest of us go on with our lives. I’m careful to copiously wash my hands & do everything I can to stay in good health. But I’m not going to hide from life.

I had a video conference where one participant was alone in a room with the door visibly closed behind him, and wearing TWO facemasks–an n95 and a cloth one. I happen to know that he is single and childless. This was a VIDEO meeting!

We need a lot more dissemination of the research on the PCR test inaccuracy. Everybody needs to demand to know whether their test was cycled more than 30 times. The extra cycling (40 times) makes positive results out of inactive virus fragments.
Even the New York Slimes reported it and admitted that up to 90% of positives could actually be negatives.
This is huge – it easily accounts for the “hotzone” and “spike” nonsense currently being pushed as justification for endless lockdown and manipulation of the economy and people’s lives. Cases cases cases but barely any sick people!

The Hispanics in Florida are much more likely to support Trump whereas those from Central and South America may be different. Those in Florida mostly came from or their families came from countries that had been lost to communism and they are very aware of the dangers. Those from Central and South America are split. Some see government as the solution to their problems and would support Biden and others are aware of the damage that communism does and therefore would support Trump. Having lived in Florida, California and other places along the border, there is a significant different in the Florida Hispanic population from those in other parts of the country.
I still think Hispanics don’t like Biden as much as either Hillary or Obama. I think those voting for Biden simply hate Trump. We will still which is a stronger motivator, fear and hate or love?

Well. Mr. Wictor may know his weapons, and he might know or suspect something about White House defenses. But nothing in his thread addresses the fact that our nation’s enemies control the House at least through January 3rd and there are not a few in the Senate who would be hesitant to avail themselves of a second impeachment exercise if the President commanded troops to open live fire on American “protesters.” That is the true constraint. We are not (yet) Venezuela or Syria.
Antifa can get away with quite a lot before the American people and, more importantly, the political establishment, would call for the use of deadly force. Antifa knows and counts on the MSM to have its back. They will pull a FF “Kent State” if they possibly can. That’s their true goal.

FWIW, there is almost no one in DC these days. Federal employees still are not back in their offices. Most federal buildings are not easily set on fire. What will burn is St. John’s Church, most likely, other nearby historic churches (many of which are historic black churches), and maybe some shops and hotels. Maybe historic black neighborhoods like Shaw. Somehow, I would guess they won’t be targeting any Podesta nice homes in McLean or Chevy Chase or Peggy Cafritz’s mansion in Georgetown. Any win for President Trump on Tuesday night in a state that has been given an extra week to count phony ballots means nothing.

My worry is the AP who likes to call races. I can see them calling everything for Biden while holding back on any PDJT victories, early in the night they will make it seem like Biden is killing it. I have a daughter in law who became a citizen after immigrating here from France.
It was a long road for her which included standing in line in front of the American embassy in Paris with my one year old grand son in tow for 3 hours waiting to talk with the officials.
She did this three or four times in the hot Paris summertime.
She and my son paid the fees for VISAs and every other thing for her to become a citizen legally and she cried when she was naturalized and when she was able to vote in an American election or the first time.
She had no problem carrying her so called “papers” with her when she was here on her VISA, she was happy to do so because America had allowed her to reside here and work so she was trying her best to follow all of the laws.
She has been a humble and grateful citizen for ten years now.
Went to a christening yesterday here on Long Island. Had about 30 people bc there is still 50 person limit on indoor events.
What I found most surprising is when we travelled to Huntington to go to the church their main street was packed. heavy traffic, everyone walking along the sidewalks. their “main street” is massive as far as square blocks and the number of shops and resturaunts.
But what really made me LOL was a car parade down main street of about 10 cars with big signs attacking the CCP. All driven by Asian Americans. The slogans ranged from “Defund the CCP” to “The CCP lied and people died.”
as far as the luncheon i think the only people who are’t voting for Trump were the 3 or 4 younger people at the event.
