The President Trump townhall was carried live on some NBC stations, at least in Texas.
Maybe it was a Time Zone issue? It aired live on 8pm Eastern/7pm Central. I did watch the Town Hall live on my NBC affiliate in the Chicagoland area. Not sure how it aired in the Mountain Time Zone. One hour delay?
Channel 9 says they delayed it by one hour because of the time difference. Strangely they have never delayed a Bronco Game because of time difference. We switched to CNBC so I do not know if their statement of delaying is true or not.

8. Number 1 issue with voters is economy by approx. 40%. Second issue COVID but percentage drops to approx. 14%.

10. Seniors more concerned about 401k than COVID.

I think the Rally demographics are YUGE! It’s a minimum 5-6 hour commitment to attend one. Doubtful even an undecided voter would make that time commitment vs watching on tv. Folks that attend are Trump voters and typically 30% are Dems plus the independents and never voted before groups. He is winning people over, regardless of what the polls say! Be of good cheer, vote, work the election, contribute in whatever way you feel comfortable.

Here in CA, vote-by-mail materials urge people to ‘sign and date’ their forms before mailing. Yet the signature page also requires one to write one’s address, but, in their reminder, they DO NOT URGE people to do that! Why not?

I have a strange feeling that the Joe and Hunter Biden collusion story is going to die because as noted by others, no media entities other than New York Post and Fox News are covering it.
More notable, the major outlets have already determined their talking points in defense of Twitter and FB in that the story is politically charged and contains scurrilous accusations.
However, last night, when Martha McCallum was interviewing Rudy, she argued that it is difficult to corroborate the NY Post’s story because no one has access to the hard drive; to which Rudy quickly offered her (Fox News) the opportunity to review the contents of the hard drive at his office.
This is a key point. If you want this information to incriminate Biden, release it all, the time for talking about it on tv, radio and podcasts is over.
But the ORIGINAL computer and drive is with fbi, who by now has long destroyed it and will claim there was no data on it to recover, hence everything Rudy has was fabricated.
If you even get an answer from FBI on it. That is how it goes. Ignore it until it disappears.
I imagine that’s true and your example perpetuates the reasonable doubt theory unless the FBI verifies it has the original laptop in tack. You may also notice that the shop owner has NOT been charged with a crime upon handing over the computer & hard drive to the FBI. That’s because he committed no crime. By the timeline the FBI had Hunter’s laptop showing the corrupt interactions with Ukraine, a key part of Trump’s impeachment defense, but did not provide it.
I was researching how one agency could possibly avoid declassification of documents if ordered by the Executive Branch (read Gina Haspel). I have more that I want to read but apparently most new Presidents after a party change publish revised instructions for classification guidelines. PDJT did not do so but Obama did on Dec. 29, 2009 (EO 13526) It is very long and I havent read all of it but like Rick Grenell I focused of para 1.7 which say you cant classify something to cover a crime.
Here is where I am in that research. Grenell wrote Mark Warner in May 2019 referencing this paragraph (1.7). Trump chose not to write his own EO on classification. PDJT in the Spring of 2019 gave AG Barr delegated declassification authority that he in essence took away from DNI Dan Coats (who didn’t seem to care BTW). President Trump did not declassify anything at this point.
And here is the big one which i source to Steve Aftergood a critic of our government. Just because something is “declassified” does not mean it is “disclosed”. He wrote this not as it applies to policy/logistics but as it applies to National Security. So it is possible that Gina Haspel is not “disclosing” a “declassified” U.S. Presidential standing legacy secret in the interest of National Security. But PDJT is claiming they are covering up a Cirime.
I will do more research this weekend but I think Haspel was but in charge of CIA so this tension could be exposed in the public light. Also seems as SD has said for years, Mark Warner is knee deep in this mess.

Great point. So, now the President has to personally review each and every “Rule” that exists in every Executive Branch entity because he cannot get his people appointed by a Republican Senate, who would do that work.
Besides not removing key professional swamp staff hold overs, the swamp staff can hide behind rules until they are changed. The President issuing a rule that is a blanket removal of existing rules does not good because then that creates a bigger road-block of the President or a McConnell Swamp appointee have to re-write the rules. It is a form of catch 22.
Still comes down to: “Move forward, decide and govern vs fix the bureaucracy and nothing happening”.

Joe Rogan said on his show that he could not vote for Biden because he is obviously not healthy. His audience freaked out. So he said, “I haven’t said I am voting for Trump necessarily but “why do you care who I vote for – I am a comedian show host? Think for yourselves.”
Guthrie was terrible and unethical in the way she conducted that “interview” but I think Pres Trump floundered in his responses. Someone may have convinced him she would be fair and he was shocked at the way she conducted the “interview”.
I did not see any floundering. And there is no chance PDJT thought Guthrie would be fair. He may have expected her to be more professional, sure, but certainly not fair or even respectful.

Just voted in small county in South Georgia. Interesting new thing. We have computer voting as the past for awhile, but seems a secondary thing was a printout of the ballot with a QR code with the choices. I thought we would keep it, but you put it in a reader that is attached to a locked large trash can looking thing. I don’t know if it shredded after reading or was a filing system to make sure there was a paper ballot for each electric/computer ballot. Early voting started Monday in small county and the counter showed about 1,034 so far.

It was a QR code, but did it actually print your choices so you yourself could verify your vote? If it was just a QR, the QR could say you voted for Mickey Mouse.
The problem with a printout is that you can then show it to someone and collect your pay for “voting right”
If the machines are similar to what we use in TN, the printed paper will have your selections in human readable format. The bin attached to the reader/scanner does not shred the ballots. They are kept in case a recount is needed. I work as a registrar (volunteer) and am very pleased with our new system. If your paper has wrong info, you can have it canceled, voided, and recast your vote. Once it goes into the scanner, it’s recorded and cannot be changed.

Joni Ernst and Thom Tillis are glad to have the president campaigning in their states. Of course, NPR was acting like republicans losing the senate is probable. Personally, I think that Republicans will gain at least one seat. Republican Cory Gardner might lose in Colorado, but Hickenlooper’s such a goof that Gardner could hold on. Alabama’s a sure pick-up, but Republican John James could also beat Gary Peters in Michigan. I think Collins, Tillis, Ernst and Lindsey Graham will all ride the president’s coattails to re-election.

BTW in that certain paper in NYC that has been talking about someone’s certain emails- today discuss what a tortured soul he was via a long 800 word email to himself in, I think , 2015 – Just guessing, but from , unfortunately, personal experience with a relative that had an addiction problem , that this is a recovery program ( e.g. AA) approach /exercise where the person writes out who he has hurt , why etc . and it is usually sent to people hurt by the person’s addiction . Our taxpayer funds support these institutions through federal loans, contracts, and grants, while they are functioning as breeding grounds and hidey hidey holes for corruption.
