It’s that time again when we kick-off the pre-election ground reports. With Treepers in every state, your information is actually a great insight into the political landscape.
Individual reports are obviously anecdotal; however, when they are compiled on a larger scale, and overlaid against the social media network we also follow, these ground reports have proven to be pretty darned accurate.
Recent state polling in Florida (not done by national media) shows President Trump with a considerable lead over Joe Biden. The stronger than 2016 support from Miami-Dade and the increase in Latino voters for President Trump are a significant factor. Local data and ground reality both support my own review that the Florida margin in 2020 is near the Ohio margin in 2016. Without large mail-in ballot manipulation the Harris-Biden ticket doesn’t stand a chance in Florida. It’s over.
EXAMPLE-2: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were in Phoenix, Arizona, and the lack of support was remarkable. A ground report from Phoenix aligns with the visible reality and highlights a true reflection avoided by MSM:
I live in Phoenix. I’d like to file the following report “on the ground” here in Arizona.
There are reports Joe Biden drew eight people in Phoenix when he visited here last Thursday.
The enthusiasm gap is staggering. There is very little real/organic support for Biden. Very few yard signs and very few Biden/Harris car bumper stickers. By contrast, there are hundreds and hundreds of old cars/pickups with Trump flags and American flags driving around. This morning, I saw a “Democrats for Trump” bumper sticker.
I have “coffee with the cops” whenever I can and the Democrat’s avowed support for Antifa/Anarchists has turned all the cops against Biden. They called his anti-police polices “bleep.” I can’t imagine any police union member supporting for him.
People here want a job not a government handout. Cindy McCain has zero support and virtually no influence.
My two boys recently graduated from ASU and were shocked by the college faculty’s attempt at liberal indoctrination. They just wanted to get a job after graduation. They will be voting for Trump (based on their own life experiences, not mine).
We the people are being sold a “bill of goods” about Biden the likes of which I’ve never seen or imagined. It is an epic crock.
God speed, patriots! (link)
All visible support for President Trump is genuinely organic, grassroots and easily identifiable as not being politically coordinated. Conversely all media-focused support for Joe Biden -used to frame the current election narrative- is transparently astroturf, inorganic and easily identified as being contrived. There truly is a remarkable and easily witnessed distinction.
Additionally, I see the COVID weaponization for political purposes as a net negative. No-one has ever won an election by relying on American voters to be stupid. We have our political differences but the DNA in our national blood carries a strong BS detector. Once people pay attention, in the aggregate Americans can tell when things are manipulated.
So here’s the question… What do you see in your area?
What is the visible situation from your community and how does that contrast or align with the national narrative you are seeing as promoted by media?
Ground reports are a great way to get a *sense* of the election.
I live in liberal Broward County, Florida. My next door neighbor to my left has a Biden sign in front of their house. My next door neighbor to my right sneers at them. He estimates 70% of his fellow firefighters and EMTs will vote for Trump. I have counted 3 Biden and 2 Trump signs within my normal driving route. Recently, I saw a pick-up with a huge Trump flag flying as it passed.
One neighbor expresses concern about placing a Trump sign for fear of having his tires slashed or worse. When Obama was running, his signs were everywhere. Hillary not as much. Now, not too much signage for either candidate.
I was in Lake Placid, Florida last week and there are Trump signs everywhere.
I lived there, on and off, three times over the last 30 years. 2/3 Democrat and 1/3 Republican with lots and I do mean lots of Yankees whom I believe voted up North and in Florida. No proof but I would not be surprised especially this time around with unsolicited mail in ballots. Last time I was there in 2016, I lived in downtown Ft Lauderdale when a poll worker video recorded through the window in a locked door, several other poll workers in a room, going through the ballets and sorting them out before Snipes certified the vote. They were apparently tossing Republican ballots.
I remember seeing this reported on TV vividly. It is mind boggling how nothing has come of the rampant fraud in Broward County Florida. These Dems just break the law, cheat and steal with impunity. I pray for the Lords justice to be upon them swiftly. ??
South Central PA, travel from the Susq river east to rt 81 for work. See the most biden/h signs around Gettysburg college, and a few scattered towns. Not many biden stickers on cars. Saw an older gentleman on a street corner in York, biden signs all around him. As I drove by I asked him if he was crazy and he shook his head “YES”….go figure.
Where I live in very blue Delaware County outside of Philly, you are hard-pressed to find a Trump sign. Maybe a third of houses have a sign — mix of Biden/Harris signs, “Hate has no home here” signs, and “Wear a mask” signs.
However I’m a native Pennsyltuckian originally from Carlisle, and on my trips home to see my parents this year, I’ve seen a similar ratio of Trump signs to Biden signs in Cumberland County as to what you’ve seen.
My Facebook feed mimics this very clear dividing line as well. It’s going to be an interesting November.
Where in Delco? I live in Swarthmore, bluest of the blue. All Biden, black lives matter etc. No surprise. However, drive a mile or so into Ridley or a little further down into Aston and it’s almost the polar opposite. Springfield too has many Trump signs, or at least proxies, like a police support sign or flag. Yesterday afternoon, on Baltimore Pike in Media (county seat) there was a group of 50-100 Trump supporters with signs , hats, etc. I heard many enthusiastic honks from drivers going by and thumbs up. Trump won’t win Delco but if he can take a few percentage points vs his 16 numbers, it will help
“… and “Wear a mask” signs.” What a country … if you had that sign in your yard in Indiana, your neighbors would openly laugh at you.
I’d have to say where I live, in North Carolina in the Piedmont Triad region (Greensboro-Winston-High Point) I can count the number of Biden/Harris signs on 1 hand, and the Trump signs are too numerous to count.
I also traveled to Daytona Beach Florida a few days ago, driving through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida I observed a similar disparity: Virtually no Biden/Harris signs, and Trump signs as far as the eye can see.
Come up to CT. I live outside of Hartford (about 10 min drive via Avon Mt.). I find the sign demographics to be interesting. In 2016- Hillary signs everywhere with a few Trump signs.
Now, this time: there are the same amount of Trump signs. The difference- there are definitely a lot less Biden signs. A lot less. The same houses that were big into Clinton are the same one’s with Biden signs. I do see a lot of BLM signs and “a hero lives here” signs (BS look at me signs). As another commenter mentioned- I do see a lot of local R signs with no Trump sign. And I do see a lot of local D signs with no Biden sign. I find that interesting.
Now, with saying that- many people I speak to mention they would never put a Trump sign in their yard because they are afraid of it being vandalized. Yet, no one who supports Biden is saying anything similar.
I am also noticing that the houses with Biden signs seem to be the more expensive houses around. If you drive into the neighborhood with a min 1 million price tag- Biden signs see to be the popular choice. In the normal neighborhoods- Trump and this includes driving into the North End of Hartford.
During the Florida recount in 2000 I was surprised to learn there are people who only vote in certain local races: For example, ballots where the voter only voted for Sheriff and no other office. These were the “undervotes” where Gore was trying to discover the missing hundreds that would put him over the top.
It might be the same here but I think it has more to do with the worry about being vandalized if you have a Trump sign. I know one guy who LOVES Trump. I mean all caps, LOVE, as I wrote it and he won’t even put on in his yard. TAn interesting convo I had with an acquaintance that lives in the million-dollar-plus home neighborhood was around sign vandals. He said several signs were ripped up in his neighborhood over the weekend and he’s worried. Three Trump signs were taken and vandalized…..yet, no Biden signs. He has a Biden sign and said the Trump supporters are crazy and he needs to watch out. I looked at him and said “So, Trump signs were either ripped up and destroyed or they painted on them, right? No Biden signs were touched?” He said yep and yep. So I said “Ummm, you have nothing to worry about, it’s a liberal causing problems in your area not a Trump supporter. No Biden signs were harmed” He literally responded, not verbatim “yeah, but Trump supporters are destroying their own signs in order to pin it on Biden. It’s happening all over. It’s why you don’t see Biden signs being vandalized”
it was that moment….that instance…..that second I realized….holy crap……people are just dumb. Straight easily manipulated. This was a man I used to think was intelligent. Use to be…is the operative phrase.
i probably live right around the corner
Good report Dwayne Diesel. I live in New Britain and can echo your observations. The more expensive the house in Hartford County, the greater the chance there is a virtue-signaling BLM sign. These houses might have a Biden sign; rarely a Trump.
Trump signs are proudly festooned with the Red, White, and Blue. I’ve never seen a Biden sign with an American Flag.
In a perhaps diagnostic visual poll of one person that captures the precious, emotion-based decision-making of Trendy-Wokey West Hartford, a Harvard guy we call “Crackhead Mike” wears a “Settle for Biden” t-shirt.
I have a Biden True Believer test I use in the rare cases I have a discussion with family and Low Info types: If you believe in Biden and his plan, you are free to send your $2,000 tax increase to the treasury now”. No takers.
Pence did a great job of articulating Trumpism without the personality. The Daddy-issues anti-Trumpers acknowledge the soundness of the policies, but can’t get past the non -ownership of their emotional condition. Lotsa unhappy women hereabouts.
Further west – into Waterbury/Cheshire there are many more Trump signs and few Bidens. I saw there was a Trump car parade further west in Danbury.
Notice that you haven’t seen any news reports about the conditions of New York City? I’m going in on Wednesday for a look-see. Regrettably, the boarded businesses are the Biden Signs.
Interesting feedback from the New Britain area. I am not of the NE background. I would not live in the affluent town I live in if I knew back in 08′ what I know now (when I got out of the Navy and moved here from VA- the only locations the company that brought me here showed me were- Canton, Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, and Burlington) I would live in a more rural down to earth area.
Being from the rust belt of northeast Ohio (Youngstown to be exact) the culture and nature of those around me are vastly different. I grew up as a white minority in section 8 being raised by a drug-addicted alcoholic mother. I think during the height of my mom’s success (said tongue in cheek) she was bringing home around 6-800 dollars a month (between child support, welfare, and food stamps). I remember stealing food so that my bro, sis, and I wouldn’t be hungry. I share this to give my frame of mind and reference. The native NE’ers around me-nah, no clue what poor even means. Not even close. I have learned in my 12 years living in CT that NE is the home of the most racist, bigoted, closeted a-holes I have ever met in my life. I’ve lived in Ohio, Florida, SC, VA, and CT. The people (and yes most are what we would call liberals- not just a simple ole Dem) are the worst when it comes to polishing turds while speaking to you but then as soon as you leave- the most racist, bigoted, vile, type of remarks come from their mouths. And these same people dare to tell me that it’s definitely those in the South or mid-West with issues. Sorry…..not from my experience.
To add to your comments about what you noticed: I have traveled up to Mass (Butternut Mountain area) several times in the last month. As you get outside the suburbs of Hartford and start traveling into the northwest hills- it is Trump country. And it is more apparent that the Biden-Harris signs are located in the big house yards. it’s an interesting paradigm especially if you contrast it with the MSM narrative around the topic.
If you are up this way- there is a house in my town, on one of the main roads that is always over the top Democrat. Homemade wood signs, huge ones…over the top….this time- it’s all Biden and BLM. All the way down the yard. Homemade wood signs that say stupid things like- we support smart women. They even have three or four signs saying they support “insert criminal name” you know because they were just minding their business when shot by the police. Every time I drive by……I just want to firebomb the whole thing. I won’t but it’s so over the top.
Sorry for my long post.
Husband’s brother in Daytona Beach hung up on him without hesitation when he attempted to defend a Trump slur. Haven’t heard from the bother since. Daytona family is rabidly anti-Trump and re-post all the usual narratives on FB.
Political bigotry is alive and well in parts of Daytona.
Yellow Rose, ladies GOP organization held screening of documentary “UNCLE TOM” last weekend. This movie documents the rising black BLEXIT movement and the PDJT effect on the DNC plantation effect on identity politics. Starring Larry Elders, Candace Owens, Col Allen West and compelling truth about RNC duplicity in this wedge issue stagnation.
“Uncle Tom” >
Watched it and loved it. Made my heart hurt for the damage done to the black psyche by the “oh-so-compassionate” Left.
living well just outside of Boulder county Colorado. Lots of Biden lawn signs, few Trump signs in large 55+ community; however, the vast majority have NO LAWN SIGNS. Conversations reveal support for Trump without support for planting lawn signs–and I concur. The rabid lefties plant signs hoping to virtue signal their way into the “cool kids” club. The smart voters are not swayed by bumper stickers or lawn signs and any “undecided” actual voter is brain dead if they can’t decide between Freedom, Economic Growth and Happiness on the one hand, and on the other hand Government control, economic stagnation, Hate, envy, greed, and sloth on the other.
The worst thing I’ve noticed is lots of “ballot drop off” and “drop ballot here” signs which are NOT local government offices; places like community centers, rec centers, clubhouses, etc. I’m convinced the ballots collected here will be sifted and sorted and Trump votes tossed while Biden votes forwarded on to the county election office. Very Concerning.
;
I cannot a imagine a Trump voter actually using a “mail-in” vote, and especially NOT mailing it in … like me, I expect the majority of all Trump voters are voting IN PERSON … and only with a small % will use legitimate Absentee Ballots.
Also, our neighborhood of nearly 1,000 homes in Louisiana has 3 Biden signs & 1 Trump sign … one of the Biden signs looks like a “vote” version of a coexist sign and next to it – a HILARIOUS “climate” change warning sign – obviously BIGGG koolaid drinkers.
DENVER — Colorado is a leader in mail-in ballot voting.
Since the law went into effect in 2013, all voters get a ballot in the mail. They can still choose to vote in person, but for three weeks, they’ll have a ballot on their kitchen tables.
https://www.9news.com/article/news/politics/colorado-is-a-leader-in-mail-in-ballot-voting/73-d1e49cef-8558-4b49-9a00-956ebd20fa53
I love the extra signs people use. There’s a Biden supporter who has a Harris-Biden (yes that order) with the Antifa fists all around it.
When my 17-year-old says- I guess they don’t know that fists means black power and/or I am down for communism- it tells me all I need to know about the people that live there. There are either ignorant or don’t care. Either way, they are a danger to the free world.
Very few signs for any politician in the Atlanta suburbs, but I am eat up with blue progressives. One neighbor just put out a Biden sign but most lawns are bare except for Black Lives Matter signs. They are everywhere. In the next quiet little town over from me I see Biden/Harris signs. Don’t remember seeing any Trump signs anywhere, but when I drive my grand-daughter back to her college after a w/e home, we see pick-ups, cars and 18-wheelers with Trump signage/flags everywhere.
Yep, BLM signs everywhere. Biden/Harris, just the professionally posted ones on major streets, not personal yard signs. Living in a very liberal area, Raleigh NC, you’d be asking for trouble if you had a Trump sign out. But conversations with family/friends suggest more support than 4 years ago. And the prevalence of BLM and almost no Harris/Biden signs says a lot about enthusiasm for the ticket if you ask me.
As I mentioned- there are Trump signs in the North End of Hartford. The North End. For those who visit here from CT….they know that’s a big deal. In the 12 years, I have lived here and drove through there via Avon Mt…I have never seen any R signs anywhere near the North End. Ever.
For those that don’t know- the North End is one of the two major lower-income areas of Harford (East End is the next). The area is predominately 1st or 2nd generation Jamaican immigrants, Puerto-Ricans, and or Dominicans. The fact I even see Trump signs and more importantly IMO local R signs is a huge deal. Huge. If you live here…you know what I mean. I’m not saying there are a lot…but I’ve seen more than 1 and 1 is huge.
Checking in from south east Fl where an estimated 30,000 cars participated in an anti communism, Latinos for Trump rally in the streets. I see random signs for Biden but the overwhelming majority is for Trump.
Have friends that are in law enforcement and provided security detail for Biden Harris and were shocked with how few attended less than 20 on average. Convinced the only way for them to win is to steal.
I heard about that “parade” of 15-20 cars. What a barn burner…. or whatever cliche
Stealing is the way the left works.
Who wants Harris to be president?
SE Ohio here. What once was a deep blue UMW Democrat county is gone 180 in the ten years I’ve lived here. Local/county offices still Dem, but the War on Coal switched an awful lot of votes for national and state offices.. We now have a Republican in the House, and ditto our State rep and State senator. One house in the village is plastered top to bottom and left to right with Biden signs, but that’s normal for them. Everywhere else you go it’s Trump. Trump, Trump. I’d say 10:1 ratio.
In 2012 you never saw a sign for Romney. In 2016 you saw a lot of Stop the War on Coal signs, but not a lot of Trump signs. Now the floodgates are open. Nobody’s afraid to hang a big Trump flag on their porch or set out half a dozen yard signs. Enthusiasm is everywhere!
Should have added that most people here are ignoring deWhine’s mask mandate. Checkouts at the local food market are masked, but the backroom workers and 50+% of the customers I see are not. Drugstore was masked as you’d expect. Was in the local veterinary office last week. Nobody had a mask. Ditto the auto parts store, the hardware store, auto repair shop, and the Massey-Ferguson dealer.
Great to hear!
Since we’re close to Charlotte, it is a creepy quite. I think the national Communists would love to turn NC into Washington State or Oregon.
It’s just not going to happen.
We’re in quiet anger mode. Commercials are relentless. Local news is 100%biased. Governor Roy Cooper is the bitch slap poster boy, of 2020. The Democrats found a much worse candidate than Thom Tillis, for Senate, Cal Cunningham. Who is a gift to Senator Tillis.
“T” minus 4 Tuesdays,
It can’t come soon enough.
I posted this as a comment earlier.
For every supporter proudly displaying, multiply that of what we are likely not seeing, because…
We considered flying our Trump flag during this election cycle, but had to weigh the possibility even our frequent Amazon deliveries, (many big ticket items), may be affected. Broken, left elsewhere, not delivered on time, etc from a disgruntled driver.
A replacement Apple Imac to be delivered Weds. as example.
27″ TV for security footage 2 weeks ago,
32″ 4K TV for the study delivered from Costco last month.
Both of those delivered in original I am a nice Roku TV boxes
Oh yeah…
My still very nice, bought new, 2003 Ram quad, still bears the numerous deep key marks, when it proudly bore a Trump bumper sticker back in ’16
Such are the times we live
I will share about where my Mom lives, she is in South East Michigan. So many there are disenfranchised with corona restrictions and their awful dictator governor. My Mom said she has never seen so many Trump signs! She feels Trump’s base is expanding from 2016. Also my brother’s dem friends in Michigan are all voting Trump! Just small sample but it goes along with the bigger picture that people want their freedom!! MAGA!
Trumbull County Ohio reporting in here. Trump Pence signs and flags everywhere I go with a few Biden signs here and there. I see the same thing on the PA side of the border when visiting parishoners that live over there. Trump support seems overwhelming here.
In Chicago I have received 0 door knocks for Biden-Harris, or for anyone else for that matter. I don’t think I’ve yet seen a sign either. Primary season most signs were for Bernie Saunders. It only means that the D party assumes Biden will win Chicago and Illinois and they needn’t bother. Sadly, this is likely true.
Northern Alabama has a large preponderance of Trump signs. Huntsville which is Birmingham with money is the exception with a large number of Biden and Jones signs. Oddly enough, the county votes heavily Republican and will again. Don’t see a lot of signs anywhere for Tuberville. Remember the old political adage though: Whoever has the most signs up usually loses. I engage folks with Biden and Jones signs. I can understand choosing Jones over Tuberville. Can’t understand choosing Demoncrats over Trump. I like to think I changed some minds on Trump.
Love the “Huntsville is Birmingham with money” I have family in both places.
I am sure it has been heard that Biden is now leaking/talking that Cuomo could be his AG. Maybe trying to rev up the locals here in NYC area. I see not any Biden signs. Just saw my first Biden bumper sticker…but then I have not been out and about so much lately.
I live in Ramsey County, Minnesota. That’s where St. Paul is located. Not surprisingly, Trump signs are rare around here, but there aren’t many Biden signs either. If you head out about 15 miles north of here, you start to see the Trump signs, and you see plenty of them.
Driving through middle GA, Macon through Augusta and then through SC up the I-77 corridor, twice last week, 1 Biden sign in a Macon yard and thousands of signs, flags, billboards and stickers on vehicles. The difference in grass root support for PDJT is stunning for the eye to see vs. Hiden Biden. I think a lot of Democrats will sit this out as who could vote for that wretched demented witch and empty headed Joe.
Philly here. PLAN YOUR VOTE signs have popped up everywhere put out by Dem party during last week. I suspect Union workers are helping to get out the Dem vote.
Biden signs in affluent neighborhood with sign of RGB saying, “Tell them Ruthie sent you.” People nervous about their mail in ballots getting in.
Know of at least one person who received a Mail in Ballot without requesting one, reportedly.
During early days of COVID Mail in was pushed now folks are worried.
Richmond, VA. Near Monument Avenue where all of the protests and riots took place a few months ago and where statues were taken down at the request of rioters and our Mayor Stoney.
Not many Trump signs to be seen. Fair amount of Biden signs. If I had to guess, Biden signs outnumber Trump by at least 10 to 1.
I am also 10 minutes from VA-07 district. That will be a tough one to win back for the House (Nick Freitas – R vs. Abigail Spanberger – D). With that said, I drive through VA-07 daily for my work commute, and have seen much greater Trump support throughout that district. I am not sure if itll be enough to get Freitas into Congress. As other posters have pointed out, VA GOP has some serious issues. While I do not see a path for Trump or Gade (R Senate candidate against Warner) in Virginia, Frietas has a decent oppurtunity to win back VA-07, which Trump won in 2016 with Dave Brat.
I’m in District 4 and work in D-7 and there are a lot of Biden-Harris signs in the suburbs. Frietas has real support but the Spanberger machine has $$$. I’d say for every Trump sign I see, I spot 4 Biden signs usually alongside those virtue signalling rainbow signs “We believe in…” or a BLM sign(usually in a White family’s yard). In 2016, you couldn’t find a Trump sign so we might have a shot this election to turn the state red.
Michigan is recruiting for teenagers to work the polls November 3.
But I have seen no yard signs for Biden while driving through Detroit.
The only Biden voters I know are the college educated “white” feminists.
There are a few Biden yard signs In femi/commi Troy, MI.
There are tons of Trump signs throughout most of southeast Michigan,
( excepting the commi counties like Wayne or Oakland)
Monroe county has Trump signs. It seems more proTrump than 2018 did.
People are quiet. I have a Trump 2020 car sticker on my car, LOL.
The Michigan city where I live, is a home of big ten football. Yes, filled with the academically minded that ‘believe’ they are ‘well-educated’. I would differ in my opinion as to what ‘well-educated’ actually means. I would say that most are simply unaware that they’ve been subtley ‘programmed’ via the Marxist education system.
In 2016, nearly 70% of the vote went to HRC, leaving many to form therapy groups that would allow the TDS to vent itself. The U of M offered coloring book classes for the students that were so effectively & mentally demolished – “they never thought she would lose.”
The display of Biden-Harris lawn signs in the area are somewhat less than what they were for HRC, but still it’s amazing to see how many of these signs are visible. Either people have no shame in showing how little they are politically paying attention, or the zombie effect is still heavily entrenched within the psyche of so many.
I drive for a living. That lends me to have local people enter into my vehicle, which gives me an opportunity to intellectually engage with many I find that I am in a political ideological minority with. I’ve witnessed the display of TDS (through my review mirror) to know where most conversations would end up before they get started. As a consequence, since 2016 it became a necessity – for business reasons – to put in place a policy rule for myself regarding clients & customers that take a backseat within my vehicle. And that policy has basically 2 rules that I abide by:
1) No discussion regarding religion or politics.
2) If someone talks about either, simply smile & nod in a polite manner.
I still have a trust that many people will come out of being so dazed & confused at a future time. I just may not be around to witness it when it becomes manifest. The momentum of the pendulum hides itself pretty well.
I live in Macomb county, the signs in my area for Trump out number Biden eight to one. As far as highly educated, as one person told my granddaughter, it’s truly amazing your so highly educated and so F…ing stupid at the same time.
I’ve been smiling ever since I read that, and that’s my own granddaughter.
Thanks. As goes Macomb County, so goes Michigan in my experience.
I live in Loudoun County Virginia 35 miles west of DC. Loudoun was full republican about 20 years ago. Now that has changed. Many liberals moved out of Fairfax bc the schools were full of non English speaking kids. So here we are, and perhaps where we are going.
I have seen ONE Biden sign. I know plenty of Trump supporters.
I have two Trump Pence bumper stickers in my front windows, easily visible from the street
I am told there are a few streets in my neighborhood where everyone is voting Trump and the signs are on every front yard. Nice.
Reporting from the Swamp (NW DC). If DC ever votes Republican, buy ice skates because Hell has frozen over. No one would dare put up a Trump sign for fear of having their house burned down. There are a quite a few Biden/Harris and ByeDon signs but probably more virtue signaling signs than political displays.
I drove from DC to Madison, VA this weekend and was so excited to see all of the Trump/Pence and Farmers for Trump signs. Not only were the Trump signs more abundant, they were much larger, too. Also saw a tractor parade with a huge USA flag and Trump/Pence flag leading the way.
Does anyone hand out bumper stickers anymore? I mostly see the remnants of Obama/Biden stickers around here.
PMM I grew up in Madison; glad to see they’re still sane!
Wisconsin
I have my concerns. The D’s turnout was tremendous in the last gubernatorial election ousting incumbent Walker (R) and placing Evers (D) in office. Evers has mucked up the wuflu response but not like Whitmer, so i don’t see that as a net plus to R’s.
A few silver linings – maybe. I live in a very liberal area. Ofcourse along with SJW signs, are a bunch of Biden yard signs. But there are a bunch of anti Trump signs. It appears hate of Trump is a driving force for many, not the desire to elect Biden. Hate isn’t a winning hand in an election, especially for undecideds.
The riots in Kenosha got a lot of press, but just recently there was rioting in Waukesha. Waukesha is a quiet bedroom community. That rioting didn’t get a lot of attention in the national press but did in the state, especially outstate. That rioting will swing a lot of undecided votes to Trump.
I also think Minnesota will flip to Trump.
I’m in Waukesha County and i see more Biden signs then i did Clinton signs, but there still isn’t a lot of them. I think the shy-Trump voter in WI is real. Trumps personal style is against the “WI nice”, so it make (especially older WI-nites) more likely to completely avoid the topic.
Also as an FYI, the riots were in Wauwatosa, which is Milwaukee County.
Reporting in from the Central Valley of California. Just this weekend we held a grass roots Trump Parade with estimated several hundred participants. In my neighborhood there are no Biden signs. Only Devin Nunes and Trump signs. But there must be some of those scalawags hidden, because someone stole my Trump sign last night. No worries, I remember 2016 and I’ve got extras stashed in the garage.
Drove through Iowa and Missouri last month, Des Moines down to Columbia/Jeff City. Trump signs and flags were everywhere. Also been through southern Georgia, FL panhandle and Alabama recently. Not as many Trump signs there, although I think it’s taken for granted in those parts 🙂
Living in a small town on the Jersey coast. few signs. more BH signs than Trump signs but I am surprised to see Trump signs at all.
Living in a small town on the Jersey coast. few signs. more BH signs than Trump signs but I am surprised to see Trump signs at all.
Reading through the comments here brings home that the big city vs rural divide is a real thing.
Yup, it is DEFINITELY real, and it is real whether it be in the reddest of red States or the bluest of blue States…
Johnson County, KS here. My area voted 60% for President Trump in 2016. There were very few Trump signs. I think most were scared. I had one out, because we’ll fv$& ’em. This a free country. From my experience living here for 15 years, KS is very non confrontational. More the compassionate Christian type. In 2016, I don’t recall seeing many Hillary signs.
Now in 2020, everything has changed. Trump signs all over the place. Neighbors that I would have never pegged as political have a Trump sign. One guy decorated his whole house. There is vandalism and theft. I am on my third sign, but after using a thick metal frame the theft stopped. I also think having more signs out helped. There are a lot of local Republican politician signs that don’t have a Trump sign, but they’ll be voting Trump.
There are still a lot of Biden signs, but as someone else mentioned it looks like virtue signalling. They have signs for all the Dem candidates. They don’t have to fear theft or vandalism. Other than putting out yard signs there doesn’t appear to be a lot of Dem enthusiasm, whereas there was a huge Trump car parade this weekend.
In Columbus OH suburbs, don’t see a lot of signs for either candidate. Once you get a bit more rural, its a lot of Trump signs and a few Biden. There are very few signs in our neighborhood which is about 60% white, 25% black, 15% hispanic/other. I personally have chosen not to put a sign out due to fear of reprisal (I have younger kids) and don’t think its worth the risk and given the lack of signs for either candidate, I think thats the case with many.
80% of the people I know are voting Trump, but I live on the Rhode Island/Connecticut border and both both states are so blue they always go Dem. That said, far more Trump signs up until about a week ago, now they’re about 65/35 with Trump enthusiasm outweighing Biden. Trump flags on cars and boats are very common – there were huge Trump boat rallies in September in both Newport RI and Mystic CT. I’ve only seen one Biden flag in my neighborhood and it mysteriously disappeared over the weekend. I travel throughout New England for work, love to engage people in conversation and there is a LOT of support for Trump out there.
Don’t underestimate the poll about who your neighbors are going to vote for. A good friend just told me his two sisters (liberal well off ladies in their 40’s) and their husbands are voting for President Trump this time, I never expected that. My wife has contact with a lot of wealthy folks in the area through her work and there are a bunch of them with TDS, but about a third that are closet Trump supporters. We need to keep the pressure on and make sure everyone gets out to vote – maybe we can swing some of these New England states to Trump!
South Portland Maine area is all BLM signs in wealthy white neighborhoods. These are the people who call the police when a minority is in their neighborhood or who move put of cities so they don’t have to send their children to the systemic racist schools they complain about.
Amen. The neighborhoods with the most
“Black Lives Matter ” signs in Atlanta are the
most lilly white you can find.
In Dubuque, IA there seem to be small pockets of larger Biden support(signs) than in other areas as I travel the country for work. Outside of these small pockets It is all Trump and all of rural Iowa is staunchly in Trumps corner. I suspect a similar margin of victory for Trump in Iowa. You have the liberal big city mindset in areas of Des Moines but not near enough to sway the state.

south Texas here, mostly Trump signs but oddly more Biden signs than Hillary signs last time around. But still way more Trump signs. Tomorrow is first day of early voting, will be interesting to see how long it takes to get inside. Usually walk right in, vote and out. With the huge Trump train in Laredo this past weekend (a liberal stronghold) I foresee long lines
Frederick. MD here. Yard signs/flags only appeared in my neighborhood about a month ago. The first handful were mostly Trump. Biden signs quickly showed up and outnumbered Trump, but there are still very few of either in my neighborhood.
Can’t speak for outside my neighborhood because since my government has pounded away at me daily since March that I am an at-risk group and my children recently lost their Mom, for their peace of mind I have been cautious and only leave the house for food shopping and other needed errands.
I will be voting in person on election day, but am resigned to the fact that my vote won’t “matter” much due to all the blue Federal Government workers in Montgomery County and all of the foolish voters in Baltimore.
So far I’ve seen more than 10 houses with Trump flags. I’ve only seen 4 Biden flags, and I live in Cook County, Illinois! I haven’t been in Chicago since the riots began, so I don’t know what’s going on there. I’m sure the city puts them up there. Bumper stickers? I’d say with what I’ve seen the last 3 years, Trump leads 10 to 1. And I’ve never seen anyone wearing Biden hats or clothing.
North Central Arkansas here; this area is very rural and typically conservative, with many vets in the towns. We are retired and know 4 other couples who are VERY conservative and pro-Trump and Q.
When I go into the cities and towns, I don’t see Biden signs or banners.
While shopping, I can’t remember seeing anything Biden related being worn. I can’t tell if it’s fear that keeps them from outwardly supporting Biden or not.
I wear my “Trump/2Q2Q/WWG1WGA shirt when out and don’t get slammed for it, only receive “likes” from people. It feels good.
I am with a VFD and only two people connected with it (that I know of) are Dems, but both are good folks. I don’t think either will be voting this time.
It’s a good place to live for survivability, lack of racial tension, and conservative thought.
Rural north central Ohio — Trump-Pence signs are plentiful as are local candidate signs. In city district neighborhoods there are clusters of Biden signs but Trump signs outnumber these. American Flags are everywhere and more and more trucks, motorcycles, cars and boats are displaying American and Trump flags and banners.
I just returned from voting in-person and am impressed by the thoroughness of address and signature confirmations, and voting machine instructions for finalizing and printing of my ballot. In August, my husband and I signed up for poll worker training. The first session was conducted last week and we arrived after the room was already full. The seventy or so of us standing in line were told we would be contacted if needed.
It is delightful to drive through nearby Amish and Mennonite areas and see the support for Trump-Pence.
God bless Sundance, the Admins and all Treepers. I learn much by reading here and remain grateful.
Denver suburbs have 10 Biden yard signs for every Trump yard sign.
The majority of houses, however, don’t have any yard sign.
Although a few neighbors in our rural community in West Tennessee have been flying Trump flags since June, the number of yard signs increased over the last few weeks, primarily because a pop-up retailer was selling Trump merchandise on a HWY near here. We took a road trip to Shiloh Battlefield last week and saw 6 Biden/Harris signs along the 90 mile trip. We attributed that to a Biden campaign storefront in Selmer. We lost count of a Trump signs at 60.
South Central ohio, I’ve never seen anything like the enthusiasm for trump or the lack of enthusiasm for biden ever. Nothing even close.
Trump signs and flags everywhere, parades, even saw a house that had trump painted on the house.
A few biden signs but not much.
Tennessee First District reporting in. We have had two Democrat Congresscritters in the 160 years since the beginning of the Civil War, each had one term. So there will be no surprise when Trump wins this district with 70-75% of the vote. There is one Biden sign on my street. I don’t remember him having a Hillary sign, but that may be a function of my age rather than his politics.
In town, close to the University, you’ll find more Biden signs, but still not as many as Trump signs.
I spent most of my time in Floyd and Perry Counties in S.Indiana.
Floyd County, very few Trump signs. Mostly BLM near the city.
However, in Perry County Trump 2020 signs on the highway, county roads and local roads.
Yard signs, flags, business signs, people wearing Trump 2020 shirts and hats.
Trump 2020
Midwest Big Ten “University Town” has more Biden signs then Hilary signs 4 years ago – with a VERY INTERESTING TWIST…. I have seen small ‘US Flags’ tapped to the lawn signs…. AS IF THEY ARE TRYING TO DEFEND BIDENS PATRIOTISM….
VERY ODD to see the same tactic on 4 signs – no anywhere near one an other.
BTW – JUST SEEING THE US FLAG MAKES PEOPLE VOTE REPUBLICAN… CONFIRMED BY A STUDY…

BUY A NEW FLAG (CRISP COLORS) AND FLY IT 24/7 UNTIL THE ELECTION!
Most likely the Party is instructing them to attach flags to their signs.
This weekend we drove through rural Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. American flags And Trump flags/signs everywhere. A dozen of local dem signs but only 4-5 Biden signs . We live in suburb of Atlanta. No signs permitted per HOA but a number of neighbors have put up those self righteous “in this house we believe” flags. Our suburb is very diverse in race, ethnicity, and age. I expect it will be a 50/50 split in votes.
Anne Arundel County, MD here. County is about as 50/50 as you can get. The county is a mix of government workers (NSA and Annapolis as well as fed), blue-collar workers, some affluence, and small business owners. I live in a very red enclave among the small business folks, but not far from the affluent. I walk my neighborhood at least three times a week and I have seen one house with a Biden/Harris sign, many Trump signs, and many more American flags. Most of hubby’s co-workers are voting for the President. None of this is too surprising to me. Mildly surprising is the lack of Harris/Biden or down-ballot Dem signs in the bluer areas of the county.
I maintain a FB presence, mostly because of family and school information. I wish I didn’t have to. My formerly liberal (now outright leftist) friends have no qualms about spewing their hate of the President all over my feed. Actually had a friend threaten 7 of her FB friends with the dreaded “unfriending” if they didn’t stop following the President’s page. Really? The level of TDS on FB is astounding, but not surprising. What has been surprising is the hatred leveled at the President on FB by friends who I thought were at least somewhat conservative. The worst is the level of hysteria that continues over coronavirus among many of my FB friends of all political stripes. Speaking out against the lockdowns in MD is actually worse than speaking out in support of President Trump. But, I digress.
For my part, I applied to become an election judge in August. Funny thing was I never heard anything about training or a report date. About 4 weeks ago I searched the board of elections website to find out who to contact about my status, and I found an article in the Baltimore Sun saying all the election judge positions were filled. I found this to be a bit odd, given the level of corona panic in the state. I emailed my local delegate (he is the only other politician I trust besides the President), forwarding the Sun article. I indicated I never heard anything about volunteering but that I was glad that the level of civic interest was such that I was not needed. About two weeks later, I actually received notice from the election board my services would be needed. I emailed my delegate to update him. He responded, letting me know that a number of his constituents lodged the same complaint with him, and that he did contact the election board about it. Interesting that citizens in a red MD district would not be selected to volunteer during an election. And by interesting, I mean completely unsurprising.
Like many of you, I am concerned about fraud superseding the will of the electorate, but as long as we continue to speak out and be vigilant, we increase the likelihood of four more years. ??
TX: On the ground, I see early voting starts TUESDAY OCTOBER 13.
TX GOP Chair, LTC Allen West, peaceful protest at governors public mansion.

Central PA – Trump is strong here, however to be honest I do see more Biden Harris yard signs than I saw for Hillary in 2016. My take is that PA will be close. We shouldn’t count on it to win.
New Braunfels, TX is red already but we are sandwiched between two sh*t holes. We don’t HAVE to put up signs but you can if you want. Bidenites can do whatever they want, we don’t care. The indicator for Texas is the attendance at Trump trains. Our town has a nice turnout at about 375-400 but coming from the blue stain of south texas, the focus is THERE. We have astronomical numbers in Laredo which is Mexico, essentially. Last count was 11k. McAllen is also showing thousands showing up every Saturday. I lived in both cities and we didn’t ever consider leaving the D party. Even the little towns of Harlingen, Seguin, etc, heavy Hispanic population, are doing their own trains. The energy is all TRUMP!
We live in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Most of our neighbors are retirees from NY, NJ and PA, and most are Trump supporters. The few Biden signs I’ve seen were in empty fields, maybe a couple of signs in a yard. There are lots of Trump signs and Trump boat flags. There have been several large Trump boat parades in the area.
Wayne county Michigan. What we call Downriver. Plenty of Trump signs, and flags. Lots of stealing going on too. I would say 75% Trump 25% Biden. The T.V. adds are the opposite, for every ten Biden ad’s there’s maybe one for Trump.
