Most of these “Wildfires” are not set by mother nature. These fires have been set on purpose by man or are the fault of not clearing decades of old dried out brush then sparks from high tension power lines drop sparks and ignite the brush. Thanks for posting, Henry. I’m in the central coast area of California. The smoke has been really bad. A few days ago the smoke and fog merged together and hung over this area for days. There was no wind so it just stalled and stayed there. I’ve been in California all most all of my life and have never seen that before.
We had crazy lighting storms when the fires first started. It’s been several weeks sense we have had lighting so it’s very suspicious. Newsom has learned from his Aunt Nancy. I would not trust anything either of them says or does.

Think about all the “bad news” we, the public, have been getting about the upcoming election. Polls favor Biden (remember polls in 2016 favoring what’s-her-name?), dems will cheat using mail-in voting, President Trump lies to the American people, corona plague will somehow prevent Republicans from voting and The Sky Is Falling.
If WE know all of the above, just think how much more aware President Trump and his administration are about it. Which means they have plans to counter all of the above.
I’m not saying we can sit back and rest. We need to remain engaged, encourage friends and relatives to vote, participate in the process if we can (put up a yard sign, volunteer to make phone calls, knock on doors, etc.).
But – open your front door and take a deep breath. Freedom makes America’s air the best on the planet!

Are you in a key state, like Pennsylvania? For us, its wall-to-wall Biden ads. The worse was today and I had to shut off the Notre Dame game. It was a Biden ad showing all the rioting and violence and fires and Biden blaming it all on Trump, saying “after years of fomenting violence, Trump…” and then something along the lines of Trump calling on right-winged, armed thugs to get involved.
I didn’t get to the remote in time, but I didn’t see all the ad.
For some reason, I don’t see Trump TV ads. And now a property near mine has five Biden signs and a huge Biden banner on their front porch. And the Trump coordinator for the next country over, who we had been working with, resigned and an imbecile took over, who is doing nothing.
So, yeah, I’m having a hard day also. We have some new Trump signs being delivered soon and I will put them up again, but last time someone took every single one down.

Nevada only has TWO polls out for this entire year. A Fox News poll from January putting Biden ahead by 8% and NYT/Sienna poll from this week putting him up by 4%. Margin of error for this last poll? THREE-POINT-NINE PERCENT. Seriously.
Yet without this deep dive on RCP, it looks like Biden is up an average of 6% and the state looks out of reach for the President.
Where are all the polls? RCP has a nifty chart which shows how Hillary stood four years ago in the polling compared to Biden, but it’s worthless if all Nevada has is a 480-person survey with a MOE of 3.9%. That’s ridiculous.
The Public Polls are next to worthless. They do not compare to Candidate Committee Polls, in their depth, scope and accuracy; and many of those are still mostly junk for voter totals.
Do not trust any poll unless you paid for it, then still be careful.
I was watching Karl Rove on Fox this afternoon commenting on the silent Trump supporters. He basically down played the premise saying that they only made up about 1%. He said Biden was ahead and the President’s campaign lacked money. Being Bush’s man, it is not surprising. But I don’t even know how these commentators can discuss Biden with a straight face. Surely they all know Biden is not of sound mind.

Media polls are fraught with inaccuracies consistently. In this case, this is a FOX and NYT poll. In searching on the Sienna data for Sept 12, they mention only that they use a ‘weighted’ survey, rather than revealing what % of voters in each party they are polling.

The word ‘weighted’ scares me, as that means they are applying additional weight into some categories of voters and removing weight from other categories to produce the end result. This may be sensible, but maybe not. Either way, it is data manipulation, and it remains unclear why a pollster would do that.
Trump wouldn’t be spending time cultivating Nevada unless his internals are telling him otherwise. The same Sienna poll shows Biden up by 9% in Minn and up by 5% in WI. As we know, Trump is also working very hard in those 2 states.
Why would it scare you odd term to use? All polls are manipulated and mean nothing. All you can do is VOTE and persuade others to do the same for your candidate.
Your post brought out the curiosity – so checked with the Sec. of State for latest registration numbers. Active voters: Dem: 639,665; Rep: 548,129; Non-Partisan: 390,084, Other (the other minor parties): 104,558.
I’m a non-partisan (got so mad at the local Rep. party ignoring everyone but their own inside clique so changed to non-partisan) and believe this is where the battle will be since the majority of voters are usually those older than 45, and in that category the Republican’s take the lead so the Dems have to count on the youth vote, which, rarely shows up in numbers that matter.
In Washoe county (the Reno area) the Republicans actual outnumber Democrats as far as registered voters, not by much, but still, for the first time in ages, higher than the Dems. Washoe county: Dem: 101,848, Rep: 102,506, Non-Partisan: 63,104; Other: 19,390.
I do believe that President Trump can take this State! Plus, the way the Governor has decimated the casino industry in Las Vegas, I would hope a big chunk of people who would vote Democrat may have already moved out of State, or are mad enough at what Sisolak has done may vote for Pres. Trump to send a message. People are mad,, at least in our area, though this ballot harvesting thing is scary. That is where I hope the lawsuit filed by the President’s re-election team will make a difference since before this last ‘special session’ the Governor called, ballot harvesting was actually illegal in the State’s constitution and always when there was a change in the constitution a new law had to pass two separate state legislatures (which only meets for a few months every other year) and after that if it passes twice must be voted on by the people – so it’s a question how they could change a law so quick in the manner they did.

This is not simply because figures like Lara Logan, Mollie Hemingway, Newt Gingrich, Dan Bongino, and the editors of the New York Post took note. In article after article, liberal intellectuals and activists have been talking for months about how Trump could steal the election or refuse to leave the White House even if he loses. But if the Right dares to point out that Democrats are actually changing the rules of the electoral process and actually speaking publicly about refusing to concede even if they lose, well, this only proves that the Right is going to steal the election and refuse to concede if they lose!

A key piece is to maintain communications. Obviously the social media will be closed to him, as will the MSM. This is a coup d’etat after all. So he will have to rely on the web, places like this, to talk with his voters.
Leftists are far more comfortable living in a third world country. I’m sure they believe that the electoral college justifies their revolutionary fantasies. But I for one am dismayed that slides quickly into a banana republic can be so easy. Sadly people do it all the time. Civil workers and many teachers I have known have gone back to the “system” JUST to get their pensions. The system allows it. In a past life, I was a teacher in the NYS teachers Association and am not fond of any of the Teacher’s Union. Part of my salary was given to people and causes I opposed. I was in the public school system for 7 years and found that many of my peers were in it for the pension/benefits and kids came lower down on their totem poles of reasons for their being there. I had a hard time watching teachers TRYING to teach less – glad I got out. I miss my students but not those I worked with – very sad.
I believe that when she accepted the position, it was to be for 12 months. After 18 months, perhaps she just felt that was enough. It really could be that simple.

You know we say, “I’m crawling over broken glass to vote for Trump!”? Well, it now it seems we’ll be crawling over and through burnt devastation to vote….the leftist anarchists WANT chaos and they are setting fires to ensure it. And, here in AZ, we are anticipating their arrival…it’s just a matter of time. They ONLY way we will stop this anarchy is with both the ballot box AND the bullet box.
We’ve had a rash of arson fires on BLM land here in SW UT lately.
You should probably define that your use of the term BLM means Bureau of Land Management since most people might think you’re referring to Black Lives Matter.
Colorado has had several really large fires lately too. One was “human caused” but no called arson. One large fire in the Arapaho /Roosevelt National Forest is ’cause unknown’/under investigation and it started a good month ago.
I hope the dem shutdown backfires. Money not spent eating out and going to bars and other activities should go to Xmas sales. Let’s see if that happens…

The video posted without specific details shows a young boy in front of his computer apparently during a virtual class as a male voice identified as the child’s teacher spouted on with outrageous political commentary, much of which was incorrect. The caption stated that the video captured a Palm Beach Gardens 5th Grade teacher “indoctrinating his class” and added that the school allegedly “keeps deleting this video.”
