When republican house speaker Paul “Omnibus” Ryan and republican Senator John McCain earlier refused to endorse candidate Donald Trump the media proclaimed both were standing on high morale ground based on principle. Ergo, it was Trump’s fault.
Of course it was.
Representative Paul Ryan is the staunch TPP trade advocate who also supports open borders, amnesty, the failed gang-of-eight bill, the Koch Brothers and Wall Street’s legislative priorities as reflected by globalist Tom Donohue and the crony U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, Paul Ryan supports unlimited corporate spending to influence U.S. elections, and radical changes to social security and entitlement benefits.

All of these Ryan positions and interests are directly counter to republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Donald Trump does not support TPP, is against open borders, wants to ensure American sovereignty, has America-first trade priorities, has personally put the re-institution of the Glass-Stegall Act (Wall Street/Banks financial firewall) into the 2016 republican platform, and advocates for campaign finance reform. In addition Donald Trump wants to protect Social Security with expanded economic policy, and strict spending/budgetary controls.
All of these Trump positions and interests are directly counter to republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. As a consequence Donald Trump has not endorsed Ryan and Senator John McCain, both republicans who advocate against the very foundational principles of America-First.
The same media who decried Paul Ryan for a budget proposal, including comprehensive entitlement reform (“The Pathway To Prosperity”) in 2012 they (media) called “extremist” and “out of touch”, are now jaw-agape in criticism of candidate Trump for not endorsing Paul Ryan.
You really can’t make this stuff up.
(Washington Post) […] In an interview with The Washington Post on Tuesday, Trump said he was not backing Ryan in his primary election next Tuesday in Wisconsin, or McCain in his Arizona primary later this month.
[…] Trump’s statements about Ryan are the latest hiccup in what has been a fraught relationship for the two party leaders. Ryan endorsed Trump this spring and spoke on his behalf at the convention, but only after a period of public soul-searching. (read more)
The media is also making a big talking point of Ryan presiding over the GOP convention, suggesting the non-endorsement by Trump carries an additional slight. However, Ryan’s role in the convention was determined by the republican party apparatus, mostly Reince Preibus, and little -if anything- to do with the approval of Donald Trump.
The 2016 presidential race remains what it always was:
