PHILADELPHIA—They’re America’s darlings, they’re Cinderella, they’re this generation’s Phi Slama Jama. And absolutely no one saw them coming.

Georgetown didn’t see Florida Gulf Coast coming, and on Sunday night in Wells Fargo Arena, San Diego State got blindsided as well. To the Aztecs’ credit, though, they delayed the aerial assault from the unknown, unheralded players from the still-new school until midway through the second half.  (read more)
