We noticed this Update over at TheUlstermanReport from WH Insider. I think he has the name misspelled, but the right guy the Obama Admin is targeting. We have outlined before and are familiar with a Benghazi terrorist named “Ahmed Boukhatala“. First their tip:

(Via Update from White House Insider) Have a heads up for you. This comes directly from the Old Man. Military intelligence may have tracked location of a guy called “Khattalah” who apparently organized the Benghazi attack. Check media reports for name. Obama to order drone strikes or possible all out bombing operation. Says it appears imminent. Obama will then make claim “perpetrators brought to justice” to squash Benghazi questions and play part of hero. “Bin Laden Version 2 “ If accurate, this scenario would fit with the earlier rescue operation scenario you had sent me earlier. That went to sh-t so now they are recalibrating the same general idea with an updated version of it.
I have not heard anything resembling something this specific. Doing double time trying to confirm. Nobody in Romney camp aware of this. Or if they are, not tipping their hand.
This has me worried. Old Man attempting to get in front of it be he’s got his hands full with other critical Europe related issues. Says he has source in Libya but has been unable to locate. ????? Tone of his message suggests more worried than me. And I’m pretty panicked about this.
Any ideas?

Yeah, we have outlined “Ahmed Boukhatala” before. He is like a mafioso “made guy” in al-Qaeda circles; essentially untouchable by the government in Libya. Boukhatala is the chief of a ferocious militia in Benghazi, the Abu Ubaidah Brigades – a sub-group of the larger Ansar al Shariah militia.
These men, armed to the teeth with weapons looted from deposed dictator Muammar Qaddafi’s arsenals, act as both military and police in parts of Benghazi. They are the law – because they say so…. And they probably have control of the former arms kept at the consulate compound in Benghazi.
Boukhatala also has been public about his Islamic feelings regarding the Muhammed movie to western media, namely CBS, so he provides an essential talking point and narrative cover for the administration.
If Obama and Crew target Boukhatala they will be able to justify their use of the movie in their previous obfuscations. This is an essential element for them because they need cover for the false Muhammed movie story. Ahmed Boukhatala provides a degree of validity to the consulate attack that another chosen al-Qaeda target would not.
Boukhatala has also been daring the West, and the Libyan government to “come and get me“. He believes he is untouchable…. He is quite a bold and brazen chap. His previous statements with Elizabeth Palmer and the CBS press crew included the following:
[…] The attackers, he [Boukhatala] said, were just ordinary people.
“Ordinary people armed with rocket propelled grenades?”
“Yes,” he responded.
The details of what exactly happened the night the consulate compound was attacked are still murky. What is clear, though, is that Libya’s government is paralyzed.
Even though the official security forces are under huge pressure from America to arrest those who planned and carried out the attack, they haven’t acted because any moves against the Islamist militias could turn into a bloody battle… one the government could well lose.
If the government moves in to arrest some of the Islamist militia members suspected of the attack, I asked Boukhatala, would it start a fight?
“Yes,” he answered. “That’s what we expect.” (article)
Previously we noted a post attack statement and response from the Libyan Embassy in the U.K. / London Office, which contained the name of Boukhatala. The following is an excerpt:
In the mayhem of the protests, Elizabeth Palmer [CBS] says it was impossible to tell where the ousted fighters escaped to – including members of Ansar al-Sharia, the group suspected of attacking America’s consulate in Benghazi.
Even if the Libyan authorities knew where to find the militias, however, it is unclear how prepared the military is for a battle against the Islamic fundamentalist groups.
The central government and military remain relatively weak in relation to the territorial militia groups – which have been quick to pounce on the weapons depots left behind by Qaddafi’s troops.
”It will not be an easy step for the government, but the government has to do it – to show its authority, its strength, to impose the respect of the law,” Libyan Ambassador to the U.K., Mahmoud al-Nacua, told CBSNews.com on Monday. “It may be that we will face some difficulty, some delay, but when they (the military) start, I think the people will support it in many cities.”
Al-Nacua said the government would attempt to negotiate and bring moderate militia groups under the umbrella of central government – if they were willing to accept the government’s authority and respect the rule of law.
Other groups – such as Ansar al-Sharia, which has an ideology more closely aligned to al Qaeda than a domestic security force – will face an ultimatum, said al-Nacua.
”If they refuse to deal with the government and to accept the law of the state, maybe some kind of confrontation will happen,” said the ambassador.
The leader of another prominent brigade in Benghazi, Ahmed Boukhatala, told CBS News’ Palmer last week that he fully expected such a fight was looming on the horizon, and he didn’t seem at all nervous.
