Look at what’s going on in Marshall Park, a gathering place in North Carolina for the DNC affiliates and events. Radical Islamists and Occupoopers Unite !
CHARLOTTE, August 31, 2012 — Isaac’s winds have scattered. The Republicans are basking in the glow of their convention. The Democrats are headed to Charlotte. And the Jumah prayer at the 2012 DNC kicked off a series of hundreds of events that will spread throughout the city for a week.

The Jumah took place at Marshall Park in an open air setting on a rolling lawn that begins at the statue of Martin Luther King and slopes gently downward to a small pond and fountain that face the Charlotte skyline. It was open to the public as an opportunity not only for the Jumah, but also to allow non-Muslims to participate in the observance and explanation of the ritual. […]
Hey wait,…. what the…… huh,….. the women have to stand “behind” the men here? Woaah, where is Sandra Fluke, this cannot stand – what about the war on women? No, wait… read more about this HERE
Much of the controversy regarding the Charlotte event comes from other Muslim leaders who believe that radicals who embrace Islamist supremacy are behind the Jumah. Dr. M Zudhi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, and a devout Muslim, says the beliefs of Hough and his group are potentially dangerous.
Hough’s mosque, the Islamic Center of Charlotte, is owned by a Muslim Brotherhood group, the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).
“Muslims visited America prior to Columbus. It was a Muslim who guided Columbus on his voyage to the new world,” Hough said during his comments at the Jumah. (read more)
Meanwhile the Occupoopers move in (Occupoop Charlotte)….. Same park

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The first busload of protesters coming from last week’s Republican National Convention in Tampa arrived shortly before 2 a.m. this morning, bringing about 55 people who joined Occupy Charlotte members already camping in Marshall Park.
At 9 a.m. this morning, about 18 people were peacefully sitting amid the roughly dozen tents erected, browsing computers, chatting with one another and listening to music.
Jason Woody, 28, said he was in Charlotte to protest because “there are injustices going on, and I had to be a part of this cause. What we’re doing is exercising our First Amendment rights.” Woody was laid off from his job as an acquatics director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in 2008.
Gregory Gifford, 47, a single dad from New Hampshire, said one of his main reasons for coming to Charlotte was to protest the banks, particularly Bank of America.
“They’ve already robbed us,” he said of their practices. He also is upset over the federal government’s spending on wars.
“We’ve spent a trillion dollars to get (Osama) Bin Ladin, and we could have spent that money on education, scholarships, healthcare,” he said.
Protesters said they have heard that around 10 buses may arrive bringing protesters during the next two days. (read more)
Meanwhile some “divine” convention intervention on this creepy idolitry ?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A torrential downpour that struck Charlotte Saturday afternoon damaged the Mount Rushmore-style sand sculpture bust of President Obama — an ominous beginning to what many fear is a plagued convention.
Workers were trying Saturday afternoon to reform the base of the sculpture, built from sand brought in from Myrtle Beach, S.C., pounding and smoothing out the sand that had washed off the facade of the waist-up rendering of the chief executive.
Enviroweenie hypocrites…. Doesn’t removal of sand cause erosion or something?
The sand sculpture was protected from above, and Mr. Obama’s face didn’t see too much damage. But the storm was so strong that its heavy winds blew the rain sideways, pelting the president’s right side and leaving the sand pockmarked and completely erasing his right elbow.
Democrats’ choice of Charlotte has drawn criticism from unions who don’t like North Carolina’s labor laws, and the state seems to be tilting away from Democrats politically. (read more)
