Progs don’t apologize, they clarify.

Progs don’t make mistakes, they are misunderstood.

Progs are not wrong, you are just not understanding them correctly.

Progs are vastly too intellectual for the average person to comprehend;  and when they express their opinion it is common place for them to be misunderstood because they possess a greater depth and enlightenment.
